We identify conditions giving large natural classes of partial differential operators for which it is possible to construct a complete set of Laplace invariants. In order to do that we investigate general properties of differential invariants of partial differential operators under gauge transformations and introduce a sufficient condition for a set of invariants to be complete. We also give a some mild conditions that guarantee the existence of such a set. The proof is constructive. The method gives many examples of invariants previously known in the literature as well as many new examples including multidimensional.
A direct generalization of Laplace invariants to the case of hyperbolic partial differential systems is considered. The proof of the following statement is given: the determinant of a Laplace invariant vanishes if the corresponding system admits an integral.
2nd-order conformal superintegrable systems in $n$ dimensions are Laplace equations on a manifold with an added scalar potential and $2n - 1$ independent 2nd order conformal symmetry operators. They encode all the information about Helmholtz (eigenvalue) superintegrable systems in an efficient manner: there is a 1-1 correspondence between Laplace superintegrable systems and Stackel equivalence classes of Helmholtz superintegrable systems. In this paper we focus on superintegrable systems in two dimensions, $n = 2$, where there are 44 Helmholtz systems, corresponding to 12 Laplace systems. For …
We present a construction of a large class of Laplace invariants for linear hyperbolic partial differential operators of fairly general form and arbitrary order.
We generalize the result of [Matveev-Topalov 2001] to all signatures: we show that in all signatures the Killing tensors constructed by projectively equivalent metrics correspond to commuting differential operators
Far as we know there are not exact solutions to the equation of motion for a relativistic harmonic oscillator. In this paper, the relativistic harmonic oscillator equation which is a nonlinear ordinary differential equation is studied by means of a combined use of the Adomian Decomposition Method and the Laplace Transform (LADM). The results that we have obtained, a series of powers of functions, have never been reported and show a very good match when compared with other approximate solutions, obtained by different methods. The method here proposed works with high degree of accuracy and becau…
In the first part of this paper, we introduce the notion of "cyclic stratum" of a Frobenius manifold $M$. This is the set of points of the extended manifold $\mathbb C^*\times M$ at which the unit vector field is a cyclic vector for the isomonodromic system defined by the flatness condition of the extended deformed connection. The study of the geometry of the complement of the cyclic stratum is addressed. We show that at points of the cyclic stratum, the isomonodromic system attached to $M$ can be reduced to a scalar differential equation, called the "master differential equation" of $M$. In t…
In this paper, an explicit expression is obtained for the conformally invariant higher spin Laplace operator $\mathcal{D}_λ$, which acts on functions taking values in an arbitrary (finite-dimensional) irreducible representation for the orthogonal group with integer valued highest weight. Once an explicit expression is obtained, a special kind of (polynomial) solutions of this operator is determined.
We consider a generalization of the classical Laplace operator, which includes the Laplace-Dunkl operator defined in terms of the differential-difference operators associated with finite reflection groups called Dunkl operators. For this Laplace-like operator, we determine a set of symmetries commuting with it, which are generalized angular momentum operators, and we present the algebraic relations for the symmetry algebra. In this context, the generalized Dirac operator is then defined as a square root of our Laplace-like operator. We explicitly determine a family of graded operators which co…
