I present a concise account concerning the emergence of a research field, which deals with the thermal properties of graphene, covering the refinement of understanding of phonon transport in two-dimensional material systems. The practical application of graphene and few-layer graphene in thermal interface materials are also discussed.
We reveal that phononic thermal transport in graphene is not immune to grain boundaries (GBs) aligned along the direction of the temperature gradient. Non-equilibrium molecular dynamics simulations uncover a large reduction in the phononic thermal conductivity ($κ_p$) along linear ultra-narrow GBs comprising periodically-repeating pentagon-heptagon dislocations. Green's function calculations and spectral energy density analysis indicate that $κ_p$ is the complex manifestation of the periodic strain field, which behaves as a reflective diffraction grating with both diffuse and specular phonon r…
Phonons - quanta of crystal lattice vibrations - reveal themselves in all electrical, thermal and optical phenomena in materials. Nanostructures open exciting opportunities for tuning the phonon energy spectrum and related properties of materials for specific applications. The possibilities for controlled modification of the phonon transport and phonon interactions - referred to as phonon engineering or phononics - increase even further with the advent of graphene and two-dimensional van der Waals materials. We describe methods for tuning the phonon spectrum and controlling the thermal propert…
By means of first-principles calculations and modeling analysis, we have predicted that the traditional 2D-graphene hosts the topological phononic Weyl-like points (PWs) and phononic nodal line (PNL) in its phonon spectrum. The phonon dispersion of graphene hosts three type-I PWs (both PW1 and PW2 at the BZ corners \emph{K} and \emph{K}', and PW3 locating along the $Γ$-\emph{K} line), one type-II PW4 locating along the $Γ$-\emph{M} line, and one PNL surrounding the centered $Γ$ point in the $q_{x,y}$ plane. The calculations further reveal that Berry curvatures are vanishingly zero throughout t…
In this paper we introduce a new structure similar to the graphane which we call it penta graphane. This structure is obtained by adding hydrogen to penta graphene bond. We study the electronic and phononic structure of penta graphane. We firstly use with the generalized gradient approximation to compute the band structure.
In the field of phononics, periodic patterning controls vibrations and thereby the flow of heat and sound in matter. Bandgaps arising in such phononic crystals realize low-dissipation vibrational modes and enable applications towards mechanical qubits, efficient waveguides, and state-of-the-art sensing. Here, we combine phononics and two-dimensional materials and explore the possibility of manipulating phononic crystals via applied mechanical pressure. To this end, we fabricate the thinnest possible phononic crystal from monolayer graphene and simulate its vibrational properties. We find a ban…
We present a tunable phononic crystal which undergoes a phase transition from mechanically insulating to mechanically transmissive (metallic). Specifically, in our simulations for a phononic lattice under biaxial tension ($σ_{xx} =σ_{yy}$ = 0.01 N$/$m), we find a bandgap for out-of-plane phonons in the range of 48.8 - 56.4 MHz, which we can close by increasing the degree of tension uniaxiality ($σ_{xx} / σ_{yy}$) to 1.7. To manipulate the tension distribution, we design a realistic device of finite size, where $σ_{xx} / σ_{yy}$ is tuned by applying a gate voltage to a phononic crystal made fro…
By using non-equilibrium molecular dynamics simulations(NEMD), the modulation on temperature dependence of thermal conductivity of graphene phononic crystals (GPnCs) are investigated. It is found that the temperature dependence of thermal conductivity of GPnCs follows $T^{-α}$ behavior. The power exponents ($α$) can be efficiently tuned by changing the characteristic size of GPnCs. The phonon participation ratio spectra and dispersion relation reveal that the long-range phonon modes are more affected in GPnCs with larger size of holes ($L_0$). Our results suggest that constructing GPnCs is an …
There has been great interest in two-dimensional materials, beyond graphene, for both fundamental sciences and technological applications. Silicene, a silicon counterpart of graphene, has been shown to possess some better electronic properties than graphene. However, its thermal transport properties have not been fully studied. In this paper, we apply the first-principles-based phonon Boltzmann transport equation to investigate the thermal conductivity of silicene as well as the phonon scattering mechanisms. Although both graphene and silicene are two-dimensional crystals with similar crystal …
Thermoelectrics as a way to use waste heat, is essential in electronic industries, but its low performance at operational temperatures makes it inappropriate in practical applications. Tailoring graphene can change its properties. In this work, we are interested in studying the transport properties of S-shape graphene structures with the single vacancy (SV) and double vacancy (DV) models. The structures are composed of a chiral part, which is an armchair graphene nanoribbon, and two zigzag graphene ribbons. We investigate the changes in the figure of merit by means of the Seebeck coefficient, …
Thanks to the recent discovery on the magic-angle bilayer graphene, twistronics is quickly becom11 ing a burgeoning field in condensed matter physics. This letter expands the realm of twistronics to acoustics by introducing twisted bilayer phononic graphene, which remarkably also harbors the magic angle, evidenced by the associated ultra-flat bands. Beyond mimicking quantum mechanical behaviors of twisted bilayer graphene, we show that their acoustic counterpart offers a considerably more straightforward and robust way to alter the interlayer hopping strength, enabling us to unlock magic angle…
By calculating a Casimir energy for the acoustic phonons of Graphene, we find some temperature-dependent corrections for the pretension of a Graphene sheet suspended on a trench. We obtain values of the order of few mN/m for these corrections in fully as well as doubly clamped Graphene on a narrow trench with one nanometer width, at room temperature. These values are considerable compared to the experimental values, and can increase the fundamental resonance frequency of the Graphene. The values of these corrections increase by increasing the temperature, and so they can be utilized for tuning…
Calculations of friction and heat transfer at the water-multilayer graphene interface using the theories of phononic and radiative friction and heat transfer are presented. The phononic contributions to friction and heat transfer are many orders of magnitude larger than the radiative contributions. Phononic friction and heat transfer slightly increase with an increase in the number of graphene layers $N$ and reach saturation at $N>5$, which is associated with an increase in the phonon transmission coefficient through the interface and a finite phonon mean free path in the direction perpendicul…
Due to their possibility to encode information and realize low-energy-consumption quantum devices, control and manipulation of the valley degree of freedom have been widely studied in electronic systems. In contrast, the phononic counterpart--valley phononics--has been largely unexplored, despite the importance in both fundamental science and practical applications. In this work, we demonstrate that the control of "valleys" is also applicable for phonons in graphene by using a grain boundary. In particular, perfect valley filtering effect is observed at certain energy windows for flexural mode…
Very recently, a new graphene-like crystalline, hole-free, 2D-single-layer carbon nitride C3N, has been fabricated by polymerization of 2,3-diaminophenazine and used to fabricate a field-effect transistor device with an on-off current ratio reaching (Adv. Mater. 2017, 1605625). Heat dissipation plays a vital role in its practical applications, and therefore the thermal transport properties need to be explored urgently. In this paper, we perform first-principles calculations combined with phonon Boltzmann transport equation to investigate the phononic thermal transport properties of monolayer C…
The study of nanostructures' vibrational properties is at the core of nanoscience research, they are known to represent a fingerprint of the system as well as to hint the underlying nature of chemical bonds. In this work we focus on addressing how does the vibrational density of states (VDOS) of the carbon fullerene family ($C_n:~n=20\to720$ atoms) evolves from the molecular to the bulk material (graphene) behavior using density functional theory. We found that the fullerene's VDOS smoothly converges to the graphene characteristic shape-line with the only noticeable discrepancy in the frequenc…
We analyze electronic and phononic quantum transport through zigzag or chiral graphene nanoribbons (GNRs) perforated with an array of nanopores. Since local charge current profiles in these GNRs are peaked around their edges, drilling nanopores in their interior does not affect such edge charge currents while drastically reducing heat current carried by phonons in sufficiently long wires. The combination of these two effects can yield highly efficient thermoelectric devices with maximum $ZT \simeq 11$ at liquid nitrogen temperature and $ZT \simeq 4$ at room temperature achieved in $\sim 1$ $μ$…
The exotic physical properties of graphene have led to intense research activities on the synthesis and characterization of graphene composites during the last decade. In this article the methods developed for preparation of such materials and the different application areas are reviewed. The composites discussed are of two types, viz; graphene/polymer and inorganic/ graphene. The techniques of ex-situ hybridization and in-situ hybridization have been pointed out. Some of the application areas are batteries and ultracapacitor for energy storage and fuel cell and solar cell for energy generatio…
The possibility of realizing an electrostatically induced phononic crystal is investigated numerically in an acoustic waveguide based on a graphene sheet that is suspended over periodically arrayed electrodes. The application of dc voltage to these electrodes exerts electrostatic force on the graphene and this results in the periodic formation of stress in the waveguide structure in a non-invasive way, unlike the cases with mass loading and air holes. This non-invasive scheme enables a bandgap, namely a phononic crystal, to be created in the waveguide that can be used to dynamically tune the a…
The authors report on synthesis and thermal properties of the electrically-conductive thermal interface materials with the hybrid graphene-metal particle fillers. The thermal conductivity of resulting composites was increased by ~500% in a temperature range from 300 K to 400 K at a small graphene loading fraction of 5-vol.-%. The unusually strong enhancement of thermal properties was attributed to the high intrinsic thermal conductivity of graphene, strong graphene coupling to matrix materials and the large range of the length-scale - from nanometers to micrometers - of the graphene and silver…
In this paper, heat flux in graphene nano ribbons has been studied by using molecular dynamics simulations. It is found that the heat flux runs preferentially along the direction of decreasing width, which demonstrates significant thermal rectification effect in the asymmetric graphene ribbons. The dependence of rectification ratio on the vertex angle and the length are also discussed. Compared to the carbon nanotube based one-dimensional thermal rectifier, graphene nano ribbons have much higher rectification ratio even in large scale. Our results demonstrate that asymmetric graphene ribbon mi…
The development of cryogenic semiconductor electronics and superconducting quantum computing requires composite materials that can provide both thermal conduction and thermal insulation. We demonstrated that at cryogenic temperatures, the thermal conductivity of graphene composites can be both higher and lower than that of the reference pristine epoxy, depending on the graphene filler loading and temperature. There exists a well-defined cross-over temperature - above it, the thermal conductivity of composites increases with the addition of graphene; below it, the thermal conductivity decreases…
Graphene/(Poly)vinyl alcohol (PVA) composite film with thickness $60 μm$ were synthesized by solidification of a PVA solution comprising of dispersed graphene nanosheets. The close proximity of the graphene sheets enables the fluctuation induced tunneling of electrons to occur from one sheet to another. The dielectric data show that the present system can be simulated to a parallel resistance-capacitor network. The high frequency exponent of the frequency variation of the ac conductivity indicates that the charge carriers move in a two-dimensional space. The sample preparation technique will b…

We report the results of an experimental study of thermal and magnetic properties of nanostructured ferrimagnetic iron oxide composites with graphene and graphite fillers synthesized via the current activated pressure assisted densification. The thermal conductivity was measured using the laser-flash and transient plane source techniques. It was demonstrated that addition of 5 wt. % of equal mixture of graphene and graphite flakes to the composite results in a factor of x2.6 enhancement of the thermal conductivity without significant degradation of the saturation magnetization. The microscopy …
Since their discovery, graphene-based systems represent an exceptional playground to explore the emergence of peculiar quantum effects. The present paper focuses on the anomalous appearence of strong infrared phonon resonances in the optical spectroscopy of bilayer graphene and on their pronounced Fano-like asymmetry, both tunable in gated devices. By developing a full microscopic many-body approach for the optical phonon response we explain how both effects can be quantitatively accounted for by the quantum interference of electronic and phononic excitations. We show that the phonon modes bor…
We investigated thermal properties of the epoxy-based composites with a high loading fraction - up to f=45 vol.% - of the randomly oriented electrically conductive graphene fillers and electrically insulating boron nitride fillers. It was found that both types of the composites revealed a distinctive thermal percolation threshold at the loading fraction f>20 vol.%. The graphene loading required for achieving the thermal percolation was substantially higher than the loading for the electrical percolation. Graphene fillers outperformed boron nitride fillers in the thermal conductivity enhancemen…
Graphene grain boundaries are known to affect phonon transport and thermal conductivity, suggesting that they may be used to engineer the phononic properties of graphene. Here, the effect of two buckled grain boundaries on long-wavelength flexural acoustic phonons has been investigated as a function of angle of incidence using molecular dynamics. The flexural acoustic mode has been chosen due to its importance to thermal transport. It is found that the transmission through the boundaries is strongly suppressed for incidence angles close to 35$^\circ$. Also, the grain boundaries are found to ac…
We demonstrate tunable solid state and flexible graphene field effect devices (FEDs) fabricated using a poly(methylmethacrylate) (PMMA) and lithium fluoride (LiF) composite dielectric. Increasing the concentration of LiF in the composite dielectric reduces the operating gate voltages significantly from 10 V to 1 V required leading to a decrease in resistance. Electron and hole mobility of 350 and 310 cm2/Vs at VD = -5 V are obtained for graphene FEDs with 10 % LiF concentration in the composite. Using composite dielectric also enabled excellent performance on flexible substrates without any si…
We report on the synthesis of the epoxy-based composites with graphene fillers and testing their electromagnetic shielding efficiency by the quasi-optic free-space method in the extremely high frequency (EHF) band (220 - 325 GHz). The curing adhesive composites were produced by a scalable technique with a mixture of single-layer and few-layer graphene layers of a few-micron lateral dimensions. It was found that the electromagnetic transmission, T, is low even at small concentrations of graphene fillers: T<1% at frequency of 300 GHz for a composite with only 1 wt% of graphene. The main shieldin…
Graphene is one of the stiffest known materials, with a Young's modulus of 1 TPa, making it an ideal candidate for use as a reinforcement in high-performance composites. However, being a one-atom thick crystalline material, graphene poses several fundamental questions: (1) can decades of research on carbon-based composites be applied to such an ultimately-thin crystalline material? (2) is continuum mechanics used traditionally with composites still valid at the atomic level? (3) how does the matrix interact with the graphene crystals and what kind of theoretical description is appropriate? We …
Composite fermions in fractional quantum Hall (FQH) systems are believed to form a Fermi sea of weakly interacting particles at half filling $ν=1/2$. Recently, it was proposed (D. T. Son, Phys. Rev. X 5, 031027 (2015)) that these composite fermions are Dirac particles. In our work, we demonstrate experimentally that composite fermions found in monolayer graphene are Dirac particles at half filling. Our experiments have addressed FQH states in high-mobility, suspended graphene Corbino disks in the vicinity of $ν=1/2$. We find strong temperature dependence of conductivity $σ$ away from half fill…
We report on heat conduction properties of thermal interface materials with self-aligning "magnetic grapheme" fillers. Graphene enhanced nano-composites were synthesized by an inexpensive and scalable technique based on liquid-phase exfoliation. Functionalization of graphene and few-layer-graphene flakes with Fe3O4 nanoparticles allowed us to align the fillers in an external magnetic field during dispersion of the thermal paste to the connecting surfaces. The filler alignment results in a strong increase of the apparent thermal conductivity and thermal diffusivity through the layer of nano-com…
Generalizing the notion of composite fermions to the "pseudo-relativistic" Quantum Hall phenomena in graphene, we discuss a possible emergence of compressible states at the filling factors -3/2, -1/2, 1/2, 3/2. This analysis is further extended to the nearby incompressible states viewed as the Integer Quantum Hall Effect of the composite Dirac fermions, as well as those that might occur at the filling factors -1, 0, 1 as a result of the (pseudo)spin-singlet pairing between them.
We demonstrate mode-locking of a thulium-doped fiber laser operating at 1.94μm, using a graphene-based saturable absorber. The laser outputs 3.6ps pulses, with~0.4nJ energy and an amplitude fluctuation~0.5%, at 6.46MHz. This is a simple, low-cost, stable and convenient laser oscillator for applications where eye-safe and low-photon-energy light sources are required, such as sensing and biomedical diagnostics
We show the emergence of fractional quantum Hall states in dry-transferred chemical vapor deposition (CVD) derived graphene assembled into heterostructures for magnetic fields from below 3 T to 35 T. Effective composite-fermion filling factors up to $ν^* = 4$ are visible and higher order composite-fermion states (with four flux quanta attached) start to emerge at the highest fields. Our results show that the quantum mobility of CVD-grown graphene is comparable to that of exfoliated graphene and, more specifically, that the $p/3$ fractional quantum Hall states have energy gaps of up to 30 K, we…
The thermal properties of an epoxy-based binary composites comprised of graphene and copper nanoparticles are reported. It is found that the "synergistic" filler effect, revealed as a strong enhancement of the thermal conductivity of composites with the size-dissimilar fillers, has a well-defined filler loading threshold. The thermal conductivity of composites with a moderate graphene concentration of ~15 wt% exhibits an abrupt increase as the loading of copper nanoparticles approaches ~40 wt%, followed by saturation. The effect is attributed to intercalation of spherical copper nanoparticles …
The van der Waals interaction between a lipid membrane and a substrate covered by a graphene sheet is investigated using the Lifshitz theory. The reflection coefficients are obtained for a layered planar system submerged in water. The dielectric response properties of the involved materials are also specified and discussed. Our calculations show that a graphene covered substrate can repel the biological membrane in water. This is attributed to the significant changes in the response properties of the system due to the monolayer graphene. It is also found that the van der Waals interaction is m…
The functionalized graphene sheets (FGS)-polyacrylamide (PAM) composite films have been prepared by solution cast technique. The FGS have been synthesized by thermal exfoliation of graphite oxide. Several composites with different weight % (between 0 to 25 wt %) of FGS loading in PAM have been prepared and characterized by XRD, SEM, TEM and FTIR spectroscopy. FTIR analysis revealed the existence of the amide linkage (-NHC= O) between the polymer chain and oxygenated graphene sheets. The electrical and mechanical properties of FGS-PAM composite films have been studied by employing low temperatu…

In the framework of density functional theory (DFT) calculations we investigate the electronic and thermal properties of porous graphene (PG) structures passivated with halogen atoms as possible candidates for efficient thermoelectric devices. Armchair and zig-zag halogenated PG nanoribbons are analyzed comparatively. The electronic properties are consistent with the expected behavior for the two types of terminations, however with marked influences introduced by the different halogen atoms. Depending on the pore sizes and halogen type pseudo-gaps in the phononic band structure are visible in …
We find clear signatures of spin-dependent negative differential resistance in compound systems comprising a graphene nanoribbon and a set of ferromagnetic insulator strips deposited on top of it. The periodic array of ferromagnetic strips induces a proximity exchange splitting of the electronic states in graphene, resulting in the appearance of a superlattice with a spin-dependent energy spectrum. The electric current through the device can be highly polarized and both the current and its polarization manifest non-monotonic dependence on the bias voltage. The device operates therefore as an E…
Pairing interaction between fermionic particles leads to composite Bosons that condense at low temperature. Such condensate gives rise to long range order and phase coherence in superconductivity, superfluidity, and other exotic states of matter in the quantum limit. In graphene double-layers separated by an ultra-thin insulator, strong interlayer Coulomb interaction introduces electron-hole pairing across the two layers, resulting in a unique superfluid phase of interlayer excitons. In this work, we report a series of emergent fractional quantum Hall ground states in a graphene double-layer s…
We calculate the thermal conductivity of free-standing silicene using the phonon Boltzmann transport equation within the relaxation time approximation. In this calculation, we investigate the effects of sample size and different scattering mechanisms such as phonon-phonon, phonon-boundary, phonon-isotope and phonon-vacancy defect. Moreover, the role of different phonon modes is examined. We show that, in contrast to graphene, the dominant contribution to the thermal conductivity of silicene originates from the in-plane acoustic branches, which is about 70\% at room temperature and this contrib…
Neutral graphene in strong magnetic fields is believed to be an (exchange stabilized) integer Hall state of completely filled up spin (say) and empty down spin bands of n = 0, two fold valley degenerate Landau levels. We suggest that correlation energy gain from a nearly SU(4) singlet (2 spin $\times$ 2 valley) composite fermi sea formation, at $ν\approx$ \hlf filling for each component, destabilizes ferromagnetic integer quantum Hall state. This radically different scenario is consistent with a dissipative gapless state seen in experiments in neutral graphene. Interesting paired Hall states a…

We investigated a multilayer graphene-dielectric composite material, comprising graphene sheets separated by subwavelength-thick dielectric spacer, and found it to exhibit hyperbolic isofrequency wavevector dispersion at far- and mid-infrared frequencies allowing propagation of waves that would be otherwise evanescent in a dielectric. Electrostatic biasing was considered for tunable and controllable transition from hyperbolic to elliptic dispersion. We explored the validity and limitation of the effective medium approximation (EMA) for modeling wave propagation and cutoff of the propagating sp…
We experimentally investigate the impact of uncorrelated composite and structural disorder in photonic graphene. We find that in case of structural disorder not only chiral symmetry, but also the vanishing of the density of states at zero energy is preserved. This is in contrast to composite disorder, where chiral symmetry as well as the vanishing of the density of states are destroyed. Our observations are experimentally proven by exciting edge states at the bearded edge in disordered photonic graphene.
We report on the thermal and electrical properties of hybrid epoxy composites with graphene and boron nitride fillers. The thicknesses, lateral dimensions, and aspect ratios of each filler material were intentionally selected for geometric similarity to one another, in contrast to prior studies that utilized dissimilar filler geometries to achieve a "synergistic" effect. We demonstrate that the electrically-conductive graphene and electrically-insulating boron nitride fillers allow one to effectively engineer the thermal and electrical conductivities of their resulting composites. By varying t…
The physics of the state at even denominator fractional fillings of Landau levels depends on the Coulomb pseudopotentials, and produces, in different GaAs Landau levels, a composite fermion Fermi sea, a stripe phase, or, possibly, a paired composite fermion state. We consider here even denominator fractions in graphene, which has different pseudopotentials as well as a possible four fold degeneracy of each Landau level. We test various composite fermion Fermi sea wave functions (fully polarized, SU(2) singlet, SU(4) singlet) as well as the paired composite fermion states in the n=0 and $n=1$ L…
When two-dimensional atomic crystals are brought into close proximity to form a van der Waals heterostructure, neighbouring crystals can start influencing each others electronic properties. Of particular interest is the situation when the periodicity of the two crystals closely match and a moiré pattern forms, which results in specific electron scattering, reconstruction of electronic and excitonic spectra, crystal reconstruction, and many other effects. Thus, formation of moiré patterns is a viable tool of controlling the electronic properties of 2D materials. At the same time, the difference…
The electronic properties of graphene are described by a Dirac Hamiltonian with a fourfold symmetry of spin and valley. This symmetry may yield novel fractional quantum Hall (FQH) states at high magnetic field depending on the relative strength of symmetry breaking interactions. However, observing such states in transport remains challenging in graphene, as they are easily destroyed by disorder. In this work, we observe in the first two Landau levels (v<6) the composite-fermion sequences of FQH states at p/(2p+1) between each integer filling factor. In particular, odd numerator fractions appea…
The low rectification ratio limits the application of thermal rectifiers. In this paper, it is found that a series circuit of thermal rectifiers in asymmetric graphene/graphene phononic crystal (GPnC) structures can improve rectification significantly. The simulations by using non-equilibrium molecular dynamics (NEMD) are performed. Moreover, the size effect on thermal rectification is also studied and discussed.
Water dispersed graphene oxide sheets were used to prepare graphene-polyethylenglycol diacrylate resin composites by photopolymerization. It was found that graphene sheets undergo excellent morphological distribution within the resin system, giving rise to transparent composites with unaltered thermal properties with respect to the neat resin, that are electrically conductive at loading ratios as low as 0.02 %wt of graphene oxide . The proposed strategy based on photopolymerization provides an easy, energy-saving and environmental friendly technique that can find a wide application in coating …
In the context of graphene-based composite applications, a complete understanding of charge conduction in multilayer reduced graphene oxides (rGO) is highly desirable. However, these rGO compounds are characterized by multiple and different sources of disorder depending on the chemical method used for their synthesis. Most importantly the precise role of interlayer interaction in promoting or jeopardizing electronic flow remains unclear. Here, thanks to the development of a multiscale computational approach combining first-principles calculations with large scale transport simulations, the tra…
Phononic (thermal) devices are studied such as thermal diode, thermal transistors, thermal logic gates, and thermal memories. However, the thermal resistor has not been demonstrated yet. Here, we propose an instantaneously adjustable thermal resistor by folded graphene. Through theoretical analysis and molecular dynamics simulations, we studied the phonon folding effect and the dependent of thermal resistivity on the length between two folds and the overall length. Further, we discuss on the possibility to realize the instantaneously adjustable thermal resistor in experiment. Our studies bring…
The exceptional mechanical properties of graphene have made it attractive for nano-mechanical devices and functional composite materials. Two key aspects of graphene's mechanical behavior are its elastic and adhesive properties. These are generally determined in separate experiments, and it is moreover typically difficult to extract parameters for adhesion. In addition, the mechanical interplay between graphene and other elastic materials has not been well studied. Here, we demonstrate a technique for studying both the elastic and adhesive properties of few-layer graphene (FLG) by placing it o…
