Fluid analog models for gravity are based on the idea that any spacetime geometry admits a reinterpretation in which space is thought of as a fluid flowing with a prescribed velocity. This fluid picture is a restatement of the ADM decomposition of the metric. Most of the literature has focused on flat spatial geometries and physical fluid flows, with a view toward possible laboratory realizations. Here we relax these conditions and consider fluid flows on curved and time-dependent spatial geometries, as a way of understanding and visualizing solutions to general relativity. We illustrate the utility of the approach with rotating black holes. For the Kerr black hole we develop a fluid description based on Doran coordinates. For spinning BTZ black holes we develop two different fluid descriptions. One involves static conical spatial slices, with the fluid orbiting the tip of the cone. The other resembles a cosmology, with the fluid flowing on a time-dependent cylindrical geometry.
In this paper, we study the thermodynamic features of a rotating black hole surrounded by perfect fluid dark matter. We analyze the critical behavior of the black hole by considering the known relationship between pressure and cosmological constant. We show that the black hole admits a first order phase transition and, both rotation and perfect fluid dark matter parameters have a significant impact on the critical quantities. We also introduce a new ad hoc pressure related to the perfect fluid dark matter and find a first order van der Waals like phase transition. In addition, using the sixth …
Rotating and twisting locally rotationally symmetric imperfect fluids in general relativity admit a much larger set of solutions than the self-similar ones recently suggested in the literature. Explicit forms of the metrics are given and the self-similar sub-cases are discussed.
In this note we show that the Linet-Tian family of solutions of the vacuum Einstein equations with a cosmological constant are a restricted set of the solutions of the Einstein field equations for a rotating perfect fluid previously found by A. Krasiński.
In this paper we revisit and extend the prior work of Filho and Bezerra [Phys. Rev D, 64, 084009 (2001)] to rotating dyonic global monopoles in presence of a perfect fluid. We then show that the surface topology at the event horizon, related to the metric computed, is a 2- sphere using the Gauss-Bonnet theorem. By choosing $ω=-1/3, 0, 1/3$ we investigate the effect of dark matter, dust, radiation on the silhouette of black hole. The presence of the global monopole parameter $γ$ and the perfect fluid parameters $\upsilon$, also deforms the shape of black hole's shadow, which has been depicted t…
Given an anisotropic fluid source, we determine in closed forms, upon solving the field equations of general relativity (GR) and teleparallel gravity (TEGR) coupled to a cosmological constant, cylindrically symmetric four-dimensional cosmological rotating wormholes, satisfying all local energy conditions, and cosmological rotating solutions with two axes of symmetry at finite proper distance. These solutions have the property that their angular velocity is proportional to the cosmological constant.
Bardeen proposed a gravitationally collapsing magnetic monopole black hole solution which is free of singularity. In this article, we have studied the size and shape of the rotating Bardeen blackhole shadow in presence of perfect fluid dark matter. we have discussed how the parameters such a spin, magnetic monopole charge and influence of dark matter affects the shadow of our blackhole. The apparent shape of the blackhole was studied by using two observables, the radius Rs and the distortion parameter R_s. Further the blackhole emission rate is also studied, we found out that for rotating Bard…
In this work, we consider a rotating charged black hole surrounded by perfect fluid dark matter. We consider the system to be immersed in non-magnetised, pressureless plasma. First, we evaluate the null geodesics in order to study the co-rotating and counter rotating photon orbits. Further, we analyse the null geodesics to calculate the celestial coordinates ($α, β$). The celestial coordinates are used to determine the black hole shadow radius ($R_s$). Thereafter, we observe and analyse the effects of black hole spacetime, perfect fluid dark matter and plasma parameters ($a$, $Q$, $χ$, $k$) on…
An exact rotating anisotropic fluid solution and a family of exact rotating anisotropic fluid solutions are presented which satisfy all energy conditions for certain values of their parameters. The components of the Ricci tensor the eigenvalues of this tensor and the energy-momentum tensor of the solutions are given explicitly. All have the ring singularity of Kerr's solution and in addition the solution one more singularity and some solutions of the family additional singularities. The solution matches to the extremal solution of Kerr on two surfaces, which are thin shells and for proper value…
We consider a general stationary solution and derive the general laws for accretion of rotating perfect fluids. For non-degenerate and degenerate Fermi and Bose fluids we derive new effects that mimic the center-of-mass-energy effect of two colliding particle in the vicinity of horizons. Non-degenerate fluids see their chemical potential grow arbitrarily and ultra-relativistic Fermi fluids see their specific enthalpy and Fermi momentum grow arbitrarily too while the latter vanishes gradually for non-relativistic Fermi fluids. For degenerate Bose fluids two scenarios remain possible as the flui…
In this paper, the greybody factor is studied analytically for a rotating regular Bardeen black hole surrounded by perfect fluid dark matter. Firstly, we examine the behavior of effective potential by using the radial equation of motion developed from the Klein-Gordon equation. We then consider tortoise coordinate to convert the radial equation into Schrödinger form equation. We solve the radial equation of motion and obtain two different asymptotic solutions in terms of hypergeometric function measured at distinct regimes so called near and far-field horizons. These solutions are smoothly mat…
A double new class of solutions to the general relativity field equations describing interior spacetimes sourced by stationary cylindrical anisotropic fluids with principal stress directed along the symmetry axis is displayed. These solutions are required to satisfy regularity and junction conditions so that they can be possibly used to represent rotating astrophysical objects. Mathematical and physical properties are analyzed. The spacetime two independent parameters are physically interpreted, and they are shown to define two different solution classes together with stating the latters' prop…
We demonstrate an optical realization for the rotating BTZ black hole using the recent popular photon fluid model in an optical vortex but with a new proposed expression for the optical phase. We also give the numerical realization for the optical vortex to ensure that it can be generated experimentally. Different from the earlier suggestions for the analogue rotating black holes, our proposal includes an inner horizon in the analogue black hole structure. Such structure can keep for a long distance for the convenience of observing analogue Hawking or Penrose radiations.
We analysed the shadow cast by charged rotating black hole (BH) in presence of perfect fluid dark matter (PFDM). We studied the null geodesic equations and obtained the shadow of the charged rotating BH to see the effects of PFDM parameter $γ$, charge $Q$ and rotation parameter $a$, and it is noticed that the size as well as the shape of BH shadow is affected due to PFDM parameter, charge and rotation parameter. Thus, it is seen that the presence of dark matter around a BH affects its spacetime. We also investigated the influence of all the parameters (PFDM parameter $γ$, BHs charge $Q$ and ro…
We study analytically the shadow cast by the rotating black hole in the perfect fluid dark matter. The apparent shape of the shadow depends upon the black hole spin $a$ and the perfect fluid dark matter intensity parameter $k$ ($k>0$). In general, the shadow is a perfect circle in the non-rotating case ($a=0$) and a deformed one in the rotating case ($a\neq 0$). The deformation gets more and more significant with the increasing $a$, similar to the Schwarzschild and Kerr black holes. In addition, there exists a reflection point $k_0$. When $k<k_0$, the size of the shadow decreases with the incr…
