We consider the convolution of half-plane harmonic mappings with respective dilatations $(z+a)/(1+az)$ and $e^{iθ}z^{n}$, where $-1<a<1$ and $θ\in\mathbb{R},n\in\mathbb{N}$. We prove that such convolutions are locally univalent for $n=1$, which solves an open problem of Dorff et. al (see \cite[Problem~3.26]{Bshouty2010}). Moreover, we provide some numerical computations to illustrate that such convolutions are not univalent for $n\geq 2$.

The first author proved that the harmonic convolution of a normalized right half-plane mapping with either another normalized right half-plane mapping or a normalized vertical strip mapping is convex in the direction of the real axis. provided that it is locally univalent. In this paper, we prove that in general the assumption of local univalency cannot be omitted. However, we are able to show that in some cases these harmonic convolutions are locally univalent. Using this we obtain interesting examples of univalent harmonic maps one of which is a map onto the plane with two parallel slits.
We consider some known and some new properties of the family of polynomials introduced by Ted Suffridge in 1969. We begin by giving a brief overview of their extremal properties in classic and more recent work. We also give a compact form for Suffridge polynomials which matches a general pattern discovered by Brandt. Our approach allows us to find the coefficients which Brandt's result was not giving explicitly. In this paper, we give a negative answer to a problem presented by Bharanedhar and Ponnusamy (Rocky Mountain J. Math. 44: 753--777, 2014) concerning univalency of a class of harmonic mappings. More precisely, we show that for all values of the involved parameter, this class contains a non-univalent function. Moreover, several results on a new subclass of close-to-convex harmonic mappings, which is motivated by work of Ponnusamy and Sairam Kaliraj (Mediterr. J. Math. 12: 647--665, 2015), are obtained.

Let $E$ be the open unit disk $\{z\in \mathbb{C}: |z|<1\}$. Let $A$ be the class of analytic functions in $E$, which have the form $f(z)=z+a_2z^2+...$. We define operators $L_n^σ\colon A\to A$ using the convolution *. Using these operators, we define and study new classes of functions in the unit disk. Moreover, we obtain some basic properties of the new classes, namely inclusion, growth, covering, distortion, closure under certain integral transformation and coefficient inequalities.
Dorff et al. [4], proved that the harmonic convolution of right half-plane mapping with dilatation -z and mapping f_β= h_β+ \bar{g}_β, where f_βis obtained by shearing of analytic vertical strip mapping, with dilatation e^{iθ}z^n; n = 1,2,θ\in R, is in S_H^0 and is convex in the direction of the real axis. In this paper, by using Cohn's rule, we generalize this result by considering dilatations (a-z)/(1-az), a\in (-1,1) and e^{iθ} z^n (n\in N;θ\in R) of right half-plane mapping and f_β, respectively.
We investigate the univalency and the directional convexity of the convolution $ϕ\tilde{*}f=ϕ*h+\overline{ϕ*g}$ of the harmonic mapping $f=h+\bar{g}$ with a mapping $ϕ$ whose convolution with the mapping $z+\sum_{k=2}^{\infty}k^nz^k$ is starlike (and such a mapping $ϕ$ is called $n$-starlike). In addition, we investigate the directional convexity of (i) the convolution of an analytic convex mapping with the slanted half-plane mapping, and (ii) the partial sums of the convolution of a $6$-starlike mapping with the harmonic Koebe mapping and the harmonic half-plane mapping.
In the present paper, we investigate connections between various subclasses of harmonic univalent functions by using a convolution operator involving the Pascal distribution series.
Dorff, proved in [2] that the convolution of two harmonic right-half plane mappings is convex in the direction of real axis provided that the convolution is locally univalent and sense preserving. Later, it was shown in [3] that the condition of locally univalent and sense preserving can be dropped in some special cases. In this paper, we generalize the main result from [3].
In the present paper, we derive several conditions of linear combinations and convolutions of harmonic mappings to be univalent and convex in one direction, one of them gives a partial answer to an open problem proposed by Dorff. The results presented here provide extensions and improvements of those given in some earlier works. Several examples of univalent harmonic mappings convex in one direction are also constructed to demonstrate the main results.

We establish the membership criteria in terms of Hadamard product for a normalized analytic function to be in the class of infinitesimal generators. Furthermore, the embedding of various subclasses of normalized univalent functions in the class of infinitesimal generators and the radii problems for this class are studied. The results derived, generalize the already known results.
This paper makes a modest contribution to the family of starlike univalent mappings in the open unit disk, by the introduction of some new subclasses of them via certain convolution operators. A subclass of complex-valued close-to-convex harmonic functions that are univalent and sense-preserving in the open unit disc is investigated. The coefficient estimates, growth results, area theorem, boundary behavior, convolution and convex combination properties for the above family of harmonic functions are obtained.

In this article, we introduce a new family of sense preserving harmonic mappings f in the open unit disk and prove that functions in this family are close-to-convex. We give some basic properties such as coefficient bounds, growth estimates, convolution and determine the radius of convexity for the functions belonging to this family. In addition, we construct certain harmonic univalent polynomials belonging to this family.
For the standard Ma-Minda class $\mathcal{S}^{*}(ψ)$ of univalent starlike functions, we derive $\mathcal{S}^{*}(ψ)$-radii for some well-known special functions. In addition, we obtain the set of extremal functions for the classical problem $$\max_{f\in \mathcal{S}^{*}(ψ)}^{}\left|Φ\left(\log{(f(z)/z)}\right)\right| \quad \text{or} \quad \max_{f\in \mathcal{S}^{*}(ψ)}^{}\ReΦ\left(\log{(f(z)/z)}\right),$$ where $Φ$ is a non-constant entire function. We verify that whether these inequalities can occur in simply connected planar domains and in proper subdomains of $\mathbb{R}^n~(n\ge 2)$.
