We study the two-dimensional (2D) Hubbard model using exact diagonalization for spin-1/2 fermions on the triangular and honeycomb lattices decorated with a single hexagon per site. In certain parameter ranges, the Hubbard model maps to a quantum compass model on those lattices. On the triangular lattice, the compass model exhibits collinear stripe antiferromagnetism, implying $d$-density wave charge order in the original Hubbard model. On the honeycomb lattice, the compass model has a unique, quantum disordered ground state that transforms nontrivially under lattice reflection. The ground state of the Hubbard model on the decorated honeycomb lattice is thus a 2D fermionic symmetry-protected topological phase. This state -- protected by time-reversal and reflection symmetries -- cannot be connected adiabatically to a free-fermion topological phase.
We propose a new type of the Yang-Baxter equation (YBE) and the decorated Yang-Baxter equation (DYBE). Those relations for the fermionic R-operator were introduced recently as a tool to treat the integrability of the fermion models. Using the YBE and the DYBE for the XX fermion model, we construct the fermionic R-operator for the one-dimensional (1D) Hubbard model. It gives another proof of the integrability of the 1D Hubbard model. Furthermore a new approach to the SO(4) symmetry of the 1D Hubbard model is discussed.
We demonstrate the existence of an insulating phase in the three-legged Hubbard ladder at two-thirds filling. In this phase chargons are bound because the physics within a unit cell favors the formation of triplets. The resultant moments lead to a ground state in the Haldane phase, a symmetry protected topological state of matter. In this purely fermionic model, reflection is protecting but time reversal and dihedral symmetries are not, in contrast to spin models.
In an earlier work we developed a holographic theory for the phase transition between bosonic symmetry-protected topological (SPT) states. This paper is a continuation of it. Here we present the holographic theory for fermionic SPT phase transitions. We show that in any dimension $ d $, the critical states of fermionic SPT phase transitions has an emergent $Z_2^T$ symmetry and can be realized on the boundary of a $ d+1 $-dimensional bulk SPT with an extra $Z_2^T$ symmetry.
Strong interactions can give rise to new fermionic symmetry protected topological phases which have no analogs in free fermion systems. As an example, we have systematically studied a spinless fermion model with $U(1)$ charge conservation and time reversal symmetry on a three-leg ladder using density-matrix renormalization group. In the non-interacting limit, there are no topological phases. Turning on interactions, we found two gapped phases. One is trivial and is adiabatically connected to a band insulator, while another one is a nontrivial symmetry protected topological phase resulting from…
Anfuso and Rosch [Phys. Rev. B 75, 144420 (2007)] showed that the "topological" Haldane phase in a fermionic spin-1/2 ladder can be continuously deformed into a "trivial" phase without explicitly breaking symmetries when local charge fluctuations are taken into account. Within the framework of symmetry protected topological phases, we revisit the model and demonstrate how the Haldane phase can be adiabatically connected to a trivial phase due to charge fluctuations. Furthermore, we show that the Haldane phase remains stable as long as the system is symmetric under particular reflection symmetr…

We use non-equilibrium dynamical mean field theory and a real-time diagrammatic impurity solver to study the heating associated with time-dependent changes of the interaction in a fermionic Hubbard model. Optimal ramp shapes U(t) which minimize the excitation energy are determined for an infinitesimal change. For ramp times of a few inverse hoppings, these optimal U(t) are strongly oscillating with a frequency determined by the bandwidth. We show that the scaled versions of the optimized ramps yield substantially lower temperatures than linear ramps even far outside the perturbative regime.
We found that when the spinless model is off the half-filling regime ($μ\neq V$), the Helmholtz free energy (HFE) can be written as two $β$-expansions: one expansion comes from the half-filling configuration and another one that depends on the parameter $x = μ- V$. We show numerically that the chemical potential as a function of temperature satisfies a relation similar to the one derived from the particle-hole symmetry of the fermionic spinless model. We extend the $β$-expansion of the HFE of the one-dimensional fermionic spinless Hubbard model up to order $β^8$.
The fermionic Shastry-Sutherland model has a rich phase diagram, including phases with massless Dirac fermions, a quadratic band crossing point, and a pseudospin-1 Weyl fermion. Berry phases defined by the one-dimensional momentum as a parameter are quantized into 0 or pi due to the inversion symmetry combined with the time reversal, or existence of the glide plane, which also protects the massless Dirac cones with continuous parameters. This is the symmetry protected Z2 quantization. We have further demonstrated the Z2 Berry phases generically determine the existence of edge states in various…
We propose a novel parametrization of the four-point vertex function in the one-loop one-particle irreducible renormalization group (RG) scheme for fermions. It is based on a decomposition of the effective two-fermion interaction into fermion bilinears that interact via exchange bosons. Besides being more efficient than previous N-patch schemes, this parametrization also reduces the ambiguity of introducing boson fields. We apply this parametrization to the two-dimensional (t,t')-Hubbard model using a novel $Ω$-frequency regularization.
Anticipating realization of interacting fermions in an optical lattice with a large gauge field, we consider phase transitions and loop currents in a two-dimensional S=1/2 fermionic-Hubbard model with $π$/2-staggered flux at half filling. We use a variational Monte Carlo method, which is reliable even for strong correlations. As a trial wave function, a coexistent state of antifferomagnetic and staggered-flux orders is studied. In a strongly correlated regime, the ground state becomes an insulating coexistent state with loop currents. By comparing fermions with bosons, we discuss an important …
We investigate the 1D Anderson-Hubbard model at half filling with box-disorder. The ground state phase diagram is obtained by means of real-space dynamical mean-field theory (R-DMFT) and the density matrix renormalization group (DMRG). We find Mott insulating and Anderson localized regimes as well as a strong indication of a delocalized phase for intermediate interaction and disorder strength within accessible system sizes. These phases are characterized and distinguished by qualitatively different scaling behavior of the local density of states, the energy gap in the excitation spectrum and t…
Ultracold atoms in optical lattice provides a platform to realize the superfluid (SF) state, a quantum order with paired charge-neutral fermions. In this paper, we studied SF state in the twodimensional attractive Hubbard model with pi-flux on each plaquette. The SF state in the pi-flux lattice model suffers very strong quantum fluctuations and the ground state becomes a possible quantum phase liquid state. In this phase, there exists the Cooper pairing together with a finite energy gap for the atoms, but no long range SF phase coherence exists at zero temperature. In addition, we discussed th…
In two-dimensional topological phases, quasiparticle excitations can carry fractional symmetry quantum numbers. We generalize this notion of symmetry fractionalization to three-dimensional topological phases, in particular to loop excitations, and propose a partial classification for symmetry-enriched $\mathbb{Z}_2$ toric code phase. We apply the results to the classification of fermionic symmetry-protected topological phases in three dimensions.
We classify and construct models for two-dimensional (2D) interacting fermionic symmetry-protected topological (FSPT) phases with general finite Abelian unitary symmetry $G_f$. To obtain the classification, we couple the FSPT system to a dynamical discrete gauge field with gauge group $G_f$ and study braiding statistics in the resulting gauge theory. Under reasonable assumptions, the braiding statistics data allows us to infer a potentially complete classification of 2D FSPT phases with Abelian symmetry. The FSPT models that we construct are simple stacks of the following two kinds of existing…
We present results for the equation of state of the two-dimensional Hubbard model on an isotropic square lattice as obtained from a controlled and numerically exact large-cluster dynamical mean field simulation. Our results are obtained for large but finite systems and are extrapolated to infinite system size using a known finite size scaling relation. We present the energy, entropy, double occupancy and nearest-neighbour spin correlations extrapolated to the thermodynamic limit and discuss the implications of these calculations on pseudogap physics of the 2D-Hubbard model away from half filli…
Here the line shape of the up- and down-spin one-particle spectral functions at and in the (k,energy)-plane's vicinity of their cusp singularities is studied for the Mott-Hubbard insulator described by the 1D Hubbard model with one fermion per site at zero and finite magnetic fields. At zero field they can be accessed in terms of electrons by photoemission experiments. At finite field, such functions and corresponding interplay of correlations and magnetic-field effects refer to an involved non-perturbative many-particle problem that is poorly understood. The Mott-Hubbard gap that separates th…
We suggest that box shape trap enables to observe intrinsic properties of the repulsive Hubbard model in a fixed doping in contrast to the harmonic trap bringing about spatial variations of atom density profiles. In order to predict atomic density profile under the box trap, we apply the directly-extended density-matrix renormalization group method to 4-leg repulsive Hubbard model with the open boundary condition. Consequently, we find that stripe formation is universal in a low hole doping range and the stripe sensitively changes its structure with variations of $U/t$ and the doping rate. A r…
It has been proposed recently that interacting Symmetry Protected Topological (SPT) phases can be classified using cobordism theory. We test this proposal in the case of fermionic SPT phases with Z/2 symmetry, where Z/2 is either time-reversal or an internal symmetry. We find that cobordism classification correctly describes all known fermionic SPT phases in space dimension less than or equal to 3 and also predicts that all such phases can be realized by free fermions. In higher dimensions we predict the existence of inherently interacting fermionic SPT phases.
We derive an efficient method for treating renormalization contributions at two-loop level within the functional renormalization group in the one-particle irreducible formalism for fermions. It is based on a decomposition of the two-particle vertex in charge, magnetic and pairing channels. The method treats single-particle and collective excitations in all channels on equal footing, allows for the description of symmetry-breaking and captures collective mode fluctuation physics in the infrared. As a first application, we study the superfluid ground state of the two-dimensional attractive Hubba…
In order to describe unbalanced ultracold fermionic quantum gases on optical lattices in a harmonic trap, we investigate an attractive ($U<0$) asymmetric ($t_\uparrow\neq t_\downarrow$) Hubbard model with a Zeeman-like magnetic field. In view of the model's spatial inhomogeneity, we focus in this paper on the solution at Hartree-Fock level. The Hartree-Fock Hamiltonian is diagonalized with particular emphasis on superfluid phases. For the special case of spin-independent hopping we analytically determine the number of solutions of the resulting self-consistency equations and the nature of the …
We reexamine the one-dimensional spin-1 $XXZ$ model with on-site uniaxial single-ion anisotropy as to the appearance and characterization of the symmetry-protected topological Haldane phase. By means of large-scale density-matrix renormalization group (DMRG) calculations the central charge can be determined numerically via the von Neumann entropy, from which the ground-sate phase diagram of the model can be derived with high precision. The nontrivial gapped Haldane phase shows up in between the trivial gapped even Haldane and N{é}el phases, appearing at large single-ion and spin--exchange inte…
Recently, it has been found that there exist symmetry-protected topological phases of fermions, which have no realizations in non-interacting fermionic systems or bosonic models. We study the edge states of such an intrinsically interacting fermionic SPT phase in two spatial dimensions, protected by $\mathbb{Z}_4\times\mathbb{Z}_2^T$ symmetry. We model the edge Hilbert space by replacing the internal $\mathbb{Z}_4$ symmetry with a spatial translation symmetry, and design an exactly solvable Hamiltonian for the edge model. We show that at low-energy the edge can be described by a two-component …
The algebraic structure of the 1D Hubbard model is studied by means of the fermionic R-operator approach. This approach treats the fermion models directly in the framework of the quantum inverse scattering method. Compared with the graded approach, this approach has several advantages. First, the global properties of the Hamiltonian are naturally reflected in the algebraic properties of the fermionic R-operator. We want to note that this operator is a local operator acting on fermion Fock spaces. In particular, SO(4) symmetry and the invariance under the partial particle hole transformation ar…
The spectra and role in the spin dynamical properties of bound states of elementary magnetic excitations named Bethe strings that occur in some integrable spin and electronic one-dimensional models have recently been identified and realized in several materials by experiments. Corresponding theoretical studies have usually relied on the one-dimensional spin-1/2 Heisenberg antiferromagnet in a magnetic field. At the isotropic point, it describes the large onsite repulsion U limit of the spin degrees of freedom of the one-dimensional fermionic Hubbard model with one electron per site in a magnet…
In this paper, we introduce and study the fermionic concurrence in a two-site extended Hubbard model. Its behaviors both at the ground state and finite temperatures as function of Coulomb interaction $U$ (on-site) and $V$ (nearest-neighbor) are obtained analytically and numerically. We also investigate the change of the concurrence under a nonuniform field, including local potential and magnetic field, and find that the concurrence can be modulated by these fields.
A scheme is presented to decompose the exponential of a two-body operator in a discrete sum over exponentials of one-body operators. This discrete decomposition can be used instead of the Hubbard-Stratonovich transformation in auxiliary-field quantum Monte-Carlo methods. As an illustration, the decomposition is applied to the Hubbard model, where it is equivalent to the discrete Hubbard-Stratonovich transformation introduced by Hirsch, and to the nuclear pairing Hamiltonian.
We study the effect of interactions on 2D fermionic symmetry-protected topological (SPT) phases using the recently proposed braiding statistics approach. We focus on a simple class of examples: superconductors with a Z2 Ising symmetry. Although these systems are classified by Z in the noninteracting limit, our results suggest that the classification collapses to Z8 in the presence of interactions -- consistent with previous work that analyzed the stability of the edge. Specifically, we show that there are at least 8 different types of Ising superconductors that cannot be adiabatically connecte…
We study one-dimensional systems of two-orbital SU(4) fermionic cold atoms. In particular, we focus on an SU(4) spin model [named SU(4) $e$-$g$ spin model] that is realized in a low-energy state in the Mott insulator phase at the filling $n_g=3, n_e=1$ ($n_g, n_e$: numbers of atoms in ground and excited states, respectively). Our numerical study with the infinite-size density matrix renormalization group shows that the ground state of SU(4) $e$-$g$ spin model is a nontrivial symmetry protected topological (SPT) phase protected by $Z_4 \times Z_4$ symmetry. Specifically, we find that the ground…
It has been shown that the symmetry-protected topological (SPT) phases with finite Abelian symmetries can be described by Chern-Simons field theory. We propose a topological response theory to uniquely identify the SPT orders, which allows us to obtain a systematic scheme to classify bosonic SPT phases with any finite Abelian symmetry group. We point out that even for finite Abelian symmetry, there exist bosonic SPT phases beyond the current Chern-Simons theory framework. We also apply the theory to fermionic SPT phases with $\mathbb{Z}_m$ symmetry and find the classification of SPT phases dep…
Based on a generalized one-band Hubbard model, we study magnetic properties of Mott insulating states for ultracold spin-3/2 fermionic atoms in optical lattices. When the \textit{s}-wave scattering lengths for the total spin $S=2,0$ satisfy conditions $a_{2}>a_{0}>0$, we apply a functional integral approach to the half filled case, where the spin-quadrupole fluctuations dominate. On a 2D square lattice, the saddle point solution yields a staggered spin-quadrupole ordering at zero temperature with symmetry breaking from SO(5) to SO(4). Both spin and spin-quadrupole static structure factors are …
Abelian Chern-Simons theory, characterized by the so-called $K$ matrix, has been quite successful in characterizing and classifying Abelian fractional quantum hall effect (FQHE) as well as symmetry protected topological (SPT) phases, especially for bosonic SPT phases. However, there are still some puzzles in dealing with fermionic SPT(fSPT) phases. In this paper, we utilize the Abelian Chern-Simons theory to study the fSPT phases protected by arbitrary Abelian total symmetry $G_f$. Comparing to the bosonic SPT phases, fSPT phases with Abelian total symmetry $G_f$ has three new features: (1) it…
We analyze a diamond-lattice Hubbard model with the spatially modulated Hubbard interaction. Our dynamical mean-field analysis with special emphasis on non-Hermitian properties elucidates that the gapless nodal line changes into symmetry-protected exceptional torus (SPET) at the Fermi level enclosing the three-dimensional open Fermi surface, which is unique to non-Hermitian physics with chiral symmetry. Furthermore, we also elucidate the effects of the SPETs on the magnetic response; our results based on the random-phase approximation combined with the the dynamical mean-field theory shows tha…
The charge and spin sectors, which are intimately coupled to the fermionic one, of the $t$-$t'$ Hubbard model have been computed self-consistently within the two-pole approximation. The relevant unknown correlators appearing in the causal bosonic propagators have been computed by enforcing the constraints dictated by the hydrodynamics and the algebra of the composite operators coming into play. The proposed scheme of approximation extends previous calculations made for the fermionic sector of the $t$-$t'$ Hubbard model and the bosonic sector of the Hubbard model, which showed to be very effect…
The low-energy physics of graphene is described by relativistic Dirac fermions with spin and valley degrees of freedom. Mechanical strain can be used to create a pseudo magnetic field pointing to opposite directions in the two valleys. We study interacting electrons in graphene exposed to both an external real magnetic field and a strain-induced pseudo magnetic field. For a certain ratio between these two fields, it is proposed that a fermionic symmetry-protected topological state can be realized. The state is characterized in detail using model wave functions, Chern-Simons field theory, and n…
The charge and spin sectors, which are intimately coupled to the fermionic one, of the t-t' Hubbard model have been computed self-consistently within the two-pole approximation. The relevant unknown correlators appearing in the causal bosonic propagators have been computed by enforcing the constraints dictated by the hydrodynamics and the algebra of the composite operators coming into play. The proposed scheme of approximation extends previous calculations made for the fermionic sector of the t-t' Hubbard model and the bosonic sector of the Hubbard model, which showed to be very effective to d…
Quantum anomalies, breakdown of classical symmetries by quantum effects, provide a sharp definition of symmetry protected topological phases. In particular, they can diagnose interaction effects on the non-interacting classification of fermionic symmetry protected topological phases. In this paper, we identify quantum anomalies in two kinds of (3+1)-dimensional fermionic symmetry protected topological phases: (i) topological insulators protected by CP (charge conjugation $\times$ reflection) and electromagnetic $\mathrm{U}(1)$ symmetries, and (ii) topological superconductors protected by refle…
A fully self-consistent calculation of the bosonic dynamics of the Hubbard model is developed within the Composite Operator Method. From one side we consider a basic set of fermionic composite operators (Hubbard fields) and calculate the retarded propagators. On the other side we consider a basic set of bosonic composite operators (charge, spin and pair) and calculate the causal propagators. The equations for the Green's functions (GF) (retarded and causal), studied in the polar approximation, are coupled and depend on a set of parameters not determined by the dynamics. First, the pair sector …
In this letter we present a theorem on the dynamics of the generalized Hubbard models. This theorem shows that the symmetry of the single particle Hamiltonian can protect a kind of dynamical symmetry driven by the interactions. Here the dynamical symmetry refers to that the time evolution of certain observables are symmetric between the repulsive and attractive Hubbard models. We demonstrate our theorem with three different examples in which the symmetry involves bipartite lattice symmetry, reflection symmetry and translation symmetry, respectively. Each of these examples relates to one recent…
We define and compute many-body topological invariants of interacting fermionic symmetry-protected topological phases, protected by an orientation-reversing symmetry, such as time-reversal or reflection symmetry. The topological invariants are given by partition functions obtained by a path integral on unoriented spacetime which, as we show, can be computed for a given ground state wave function by considering a non-local operation, "partial" reflection or transpose. As an application of our scheme, we study the $\mathbb{Z}_8$ and $\mathbb{Z}_{16}$ classification of topological superconductors…
It has recently been demonstrated that protected supersymmetry emerges on the boundaries of one-dimensional intrinsically fermionic symmetry protected trivial (SPT) phases. Here we investigate the boundary supersymmetry of one-dimensional fermionic phases beyond SPT phases. Using the connection between Majorana edge modes and real supercharges, we compute, in terms of the bulk phase invariants, the number of protected boundary supercharges.
The generic non-equilibrium evolution of a strongly interacting fermionic system is studied. For strong quenches, a collective collapse-and-revival phenomenon is found extending over the whole Brillouin zone. A qualitatively distinct behavior occurs for weak quenches where only weak wiggling occurs. Surprisingly, no evidence for prethermalization is found in the weak coupling regime. In both regimes, indications for relaxation beyond oscillatory or power law behavior are found and used to estimate relaxation rates without resorting to a probabilistic ansatz. The relaxation appears to be fastes…
We study the classification of interacting fermionic and bosonic symmetry protected topological (SPT) states. We define a SPT state as whether or not it is separated from the trivial state through a bulk phase transition, which is a general definition applicable to SPT states with or without spatial symmetries. We show that in all dimensions short range interactions can reduce the classification of free fermion SPT states, and we demonstrate these results by making connection between fermionic and bosonic SPT states. We first demonstrate that our formalism gives the correct classification for …
The Lieb-Schultz-Mattis (LSM) theorem and its higher-dimensional generalizations by Oshikawa and Hastings establish that a translation-invariant lattice model of spin-$1/2$'s can not have a non-degenerate ground state preserving both spin and translation symmetries. Recently it was shown that LSM theorems can be interpreted in terms of bulk-boundary correspondence of certain weak symmetry-protected topological (SPT) phases. In this work we discuss LSM-type theorems for two-dimensional fermionic systems, which have no bosonic analogs. They follow from a general classification of weak SPT phases…
The effect of a local Kondo coupling and Hubbard interaction on the topological phase of the one-dimensional topological Kondo insulator (TKI) is numerically investigated using the infinite matrix-product state density-matrix renormalization group algorithm. The groundstate of the TKI is a symmetry-protected topological (SPT) phase protected by inversion symmetry. It is found that on its own, the Hubbard interaction that tends to force fermions into a one-charge per site order is insufficient to destroy the SPT phase. However when the local Kondo Hamiltonian term that favors a topologically tr…
We study fermionic superfluidity in strongly anisotropic optical lattices with attractive interactions utilizing the cluster DMFT method, and focusing in particular on the role of non-local quantum fluctuations. We show that non-local quantum fluctuations impact the BCS superfluid transition dramatically. Moreover, we show that exotic superfluid states with delicate order parameter structure, such as the Fulde-Ferrell-Larkin-Ovchinnikov phase driven by spin population imbalance, can emerge even in the presence of such strong fluctuations.
We study strongly correlated Hubbard systems extended to symmetric $N$-component fermions. We focus on the intermediate-temperature regime between magnetic superexchange and interaction energy, which is relevant to current ultracold fermionic atom experiments. The $N$-component fermions are represented by slave particles, and, by using a diagrammatic technique based on the atomic limit, spectral functions are analytically obtained as a function of temperature, filling factor and the component number $N$. We also apply this analytical technique to the calculation of lattice modulation experimen…
We present a mapping of elementary fermion operators onto a quadratic form of composite fermionic and bosonic operators. The mapping is an exact isomorphism as long as the physical constraint of one composite particle per cluster is satisfied. This condition is treated on average in a composite particle mean-field approach, which consists of an ansatz that decouples the composite fermionic and bosonic sectors. The theory is tested on the one- and two-dimensional Hubbard models. Using a Bogoliubov determinant for the composite fermions and either a coherent or Bogoliubov state for the bosons, w…
Many electromagnetic properties of graphene can be described by the Hubbard model on a honeycomb lattice. However, this system suffers strongly from the sign problem if a chemical potential is included. Tensor network methods are not affected by this problem. We use the imaginary time evolution of a fermionic projected entangled pair state, which allows to simulate both parity sectors independently. Incorporating the fermionic nature on the level of the tensor network allows to fix the particle number to be either even or odd. This way we can access the states at half filling and with one addi…
We investigate an unconventional symmetry in time-periodically driven systems, the Floquet dynamical symmetry (FDS). Unlike the usual symmetries, the FDS gives symmetry sectors that are equidistant in the Floquet spectrum and protects quantum coherence between them from dissipation and dephasing, leading to two kinds of time crystals: the discrete time crystal and discrete time quasicrystal that have different periodicity in time. We show that these time crystals appear in the Bose- and Fermi-Hubbard models under ac fields and their periodicity can be tuned only by adjusting the strength of th…
We reanalyze the Hubbard-I approximation by showing that it is equivalent to an effective Hamiltonian describing Fermionic charge fluctuations, which can be solved by Bogoliubov transformation. As the most important correction in the limit of large U and weak spin correlations we augment this Hamiltonian by further effective particles, which describe composite objects of a Fermionic charge fluctuation and a spin-, density- or eta- excitation. The scheme is valid for positive and negative U. We present results for the single particle Green's function for the two-dimensional Hubbard model with a…
We propose the definitions of many-body topological invariants to detect symmetry-protected topological phases protected by point group symmetry, using partial point group transformations on a given short-range entangled quantum ground state. Partial point group transformations $g_D$ are defined by point group transformations restricted to a spatial subregion $D$, which is closed under the point group transformations and sufficiently larger than the bulk correlation length $ξ$. By analytical and numerical calculations,we find that the ground state expectation value of the partial point group t…
We consider SU($3$) fermions on the triangular lattice in the presence of a gauge potential which stabilizes a quantum Hall insulator (QHI) at the density of one particle per lattice site. We investigate the effect of the Hubbard interaction, favoring magnetic long-range order, and a three-sublattice potential (TSP), favoring a normal insulator (NI), on the system. For weak TSP we find that the Hubbard interaction drives the QHI into a three-sublattice magnetic Mott insulator (MMI). For intermediate values of TSP we identify two transition points upon increasing the Hubbard interaction. The fi…
