We introduce enumerative invariants of real del Pezzo surfaces that count real rational curves belonging to a given divisor class, passing through a generic conjugation-invariant configuration of points and satisfying preassigned tangency conditions to given smooth arcs centered at the fixed points. The counted curves are equipped with Welschinger-type signs. We prove that such a count does not depend neither on the choice of the point-arc configuration, nor on the variation of the ambient real surface. These invariants can be regarded as a real counterpart of (complex) descendant invariants.
We suggest an invariant way to enumerate nodal and nodal-cuspidal real deformations of real plane curve singularities. The key idea is to assign Welschinger signs to the counted deformations. Our invariants can be viewed as a local version of Welschinger invariants enumerating real plane rational curves.
We generalize the formula of Gromov-Witten-Welschinger invariants of $\mathbb{C} P^3$ established by E. Brugallé and P. Georgieva in [BG16b] to $\mathbb{C} P^3\#\overline{\mathbb{C} P}^3$. Using pencils of quadrics, some real and complex enumerative invariants of $\mathbb{C} P^3\#\overline{\mathbb{C} P}^3$ can be written as the combination of the enumerative invariants of the blow up of $\mathbb{C} P^2$ at two real points.
In our previous paper we have elaborated a certain signed count of real lines on real projective n-dimensional hypersurfaces of degree 2n-1. Contrary to the honest "cardinal" count, it is independent of the choice of a hypersurface, and by this reason provides a strong lower bound on the honest count. In this count the contribution of a line is its local input to the Euler number of a certain auxiliary vector bundle. The aim of this paper is to present other, in a sense more geometric, interpretations of this local input. One of them results from a generalization of Segre species of real lines…
Welschinger invariants are signed counts of real rational curves satisfying contraints. Quadratic Gromov--Witten invariants give such counts over general fields of characteristic different from 2 and 3. For rational del Pezzo surfaces over a field, we propose a conjectural relationship between Welschinger and quadratic Gromov--Witten invariants. We construct multivariable unramified Witt invariants, in the sense of Serre, from Welschinger invariants and call them Welschinger--Witt invariants. We show that quadratic Gromov--Witten invariants are also Witt invariants and control their ramificati…
We collect in this note some observations about original Welschinger invariants of real symplectic fourfolds. None of their proofs is difficult, nevertheless these remarks do not seem to have been made before. Our main result is that when $X$ is a real rational algebraic surface, Welschinger invariants only depend on the number of real interpolated points, and some homological data associated to $X$. This strengthened the invariance statement initially proved by Welschinger. This main result follows easily from a formula relating Welschinger invariants of two real symplectic manifolds differin…
We give a tropical description of the counting of real log curves in toric degenerations of toric varieties. We treat the case of genus zero curves and all non-superabundant higher-genus situations. The proof relies on log deformation theory and is a real version of the Nishinou-Siebert approach to the tropical correspondence theorem for complex curves. In dimension two, we use similar techniques to study the counting of real log curves with Welschinger signs and we obtain a new proof of Mikhalkin's tropical correspondence theorem for Welschinger invariants.
Refined elliptic tropical invariants of toric surfaces
F. Block和L.
We construct refined tropical enumerative genus zero invariants of toric surfaces that specialize to the tropical descendant genus zero invariants introduced by Markwig and Rau when the quantum parameter tends to $1$. In the case of trivalent tropical curves our invariants turn to be the Goettsche-Schroeter refined broccoli invariants. We show that this is the only possible refinement of the Markwig-Rau descendant invariants that generalizes the Goettsche-Schroeter refined broccoli invariants. We discuss also the computational aspect (a lattice path algorithm) and exhibit some examples.
Using degeneration techniques, we prove the correspondence of tropical curve counts and log Gromov-Witten invariants with general incidence and psi-class conditions in toric varieties for genus zero curves and all non-superabundant higher-genus situations. We also relate the log invariants to the ordinary ones, in particular explaining the appearance of negative multiplicities in the descendant correspondence result of Mark Gross.
In a previous paper, we announced a formula to compute Gromov-Witten and Welschinger invariants of some toric varieties, in terms of combinatorial objects called floor diagrams. We give here detailed proofs in the tropical geometry framework, in the case when the ambient variety is a complex surface, and give some examples of computations using floor diagrams. The focusing on dimension 2 is motivated by the special combinatoric of floor diagrams compared to arbitrary dimension. We treat a general toric surface case in this dimension: the curve is given by an arbitrary lattice polygon and inclu…
We present a solution to the problem of defining genus zero open Gromov-Witten invariants with boundary constraints for a Lagrangian submanifold of arbitrary dimension. Previously, such invariants were known only in dimensions $2$ and $3$ from the work of Welschinger. Our approach does not require the Lagrangian to be fixed by an anti-symplectic involution, but can use such an involution, if present, to obtain stronger results. Also, non-trivial invariants are defined for broader classes of interior constraints and Lagrangian submanifolds than previously possible even in the presence of an ant…
