Fix $p$ an odd prime. Let $E$ be an elliptic curve over $\mathbb{Q}$ with semistable reduction at $p$. We show that the adjoint $p$-adic $L$-function of $E$ evaluated at infinitely many integers prime to $p$ completely determines up to a quadratic twist the isogeny class of $E$. To do this, we prove a result on the determination of isobaric representations of $\text{GL}(3, \mathbb{A}_\mathbb{Q})$ by certain $L$-values of $p$-power twists.
Let $K$ be an imaginary quadratic field, with associated quadratic character $α$. We construct an analytic $p$-adic $L$-function interpolating the twisted adjoint $L$-values $L(1, \mathrm{ad}(f) \otimes α)$ as $f$ varies in a Hida family; these special values are non-critical in the sense of Deligne. Our approach is based on Greenberg--Stevens' idea of $Λ$-adic modular symbols, which considers cohomology with values in a space of $p$-adic measures.

Restricting ourselves to elliptic curves over $\mathbb{Q}$, we reformulate the $p$-adic Beilinson conjecture due to Perrin-Riou, which is customized to our computational approach. We then develop a new algorithm for numerical verifications of the $p$-adic Beilinson conjecture, which is based on the theory of rigid cohomology and $F$-isocrystals.
Let $E_{-D}$ be the elliptic curve $y^2=x^3+Dx$ defined over $K=\mathbb{Q}(i)$ for $D\in K$ which is coprime to 2. In this paper, we give a lower bound for the 2-adic valuation of the algebraic part of the central value of Hecke $L$-function associated to $E_{-D}$.
Given an elliptic curve $E$ over a local field $K$ with residue characteristic $3$, we investigate the action of the absolute Galois group of $K$ in the case of potentially good reduction. In particular the only not completely known case is that of the $\ell$-adic Galois representation attached to an elliptic curve such that the image of inertia is non-cyclic, and isomorphic to $C_3 \rtimes C_4$. In this work we describe such a representation explicitly.
For primes $p>3$ we produce a new derivation of the universal $p$-adic sigma function and $p$-adic Weierstrass zeta functions of Mazur and Tate for ordinary elliptic curves by a method that highlights congruences among coefficients in Laurent expansions of elliptic functions, and works simultaneously for generalized elliptic curves defined by Weierstrass equations.
Consider the elliptic curve $E$ given by the Weierstrass equation $y^2 = x^3 - 11x - 14$, which has complex multiplication by the order of conductor $2$ inside $\mathbb{Z}[i]$. It was recently observed in a paper of Daniels and Lozano-Robledo that, for each $n \geq 2$, $\mathbb{Q}(μ_{2^{n+1}}) \subseteq \mathbb{Q}(E[2^n])$. In this note, we prove that this (a priori surprising) ``tower of vertical entanglements'' is actually more a feature than a bug: it holds for any elliptic curve $E$ over $\mathbb{Q}$ with complex multiplication by any order of even discriminant.
In this paper we present a description of the Galois representation attached to an elliptic curve defined over a $2$-adic field $K$, in the case where the image of inertia is non-abelian. There are two possibilities for the image of inertia, namely $Q_8$ and $SL_2(\mathbb{F}_3)$, and in each case we need to distinguish whether the inertia degree of $K$ over $\mathbb{Q}_2$ is even or odd. The result presented here can be implemented in an algorithm to compute explicitly the Galois representation in these four cases.
In this article, we discuss Iwasawa Main Conjecture for $p$-adic families of elliptic modular cuspforms. After the overview on the situation of the ordinary case of Hida family, we will introduce a Coleman map for Coleman family for the non-ordinary case (Coleman family) which was obtained as a joint work with Filippo Nuccio [NO16] and we give some results on Iwasawa Theory for Coleman families as applications of . First, we give a construction of a two-variable $p$-adic $L$-function for a Coleman family thanks to the ingredients given in [NO16] (Theorem 5.1). Combining this result and Coleman…
For modular elliptic curves over number fields of narrow class number one, and with multiplicative reduction at a collection of p-adic primes, we define new p-adic invariants. Inspired by Nekovar and Scholl's plectic conjectures, we believe these invariants control the Mordell--Weil group of higher rank elliptic curves and we support our expectations with numerical experiments.
We show that Hida's families of $p$-adic elliptic modular forms generalize to $p$-adic families of Jacobi forms. We also construct $p$-adic versions of theta lifts from elliptic modular forms to Jacobi forms. Our results extend to Jacobi forms previous works by Hida and Stevens on the related case of half-integral weight modular forms.
We prove the first cases of a conjecture by Darmon--Rotger on the non-vanishing of generalized Kato classes attached to elliptic curves $E$ over $\mathbf{Q}$ of rank $2$. Our method also shows that the non-vanishing of generalized Kato classes implies that the $p$-adic Selmer group of $E$ is $2$-dimensional. The main novelty in the proof is a formula for the leading term at the trivial character of an anticyclotomic $p$-adic $L$-function attached to $E$ in terms of the derived $p$-adic height of generalized Kato classes and an enhanced $p$-adic regulator.
Let $\mathcal{E}$ be a $\mathbb{Q}$-isogeny class of elliptic curves defined over $\mathbb{Q}$ without CM. The isogeny graph associated to $\mathcal{E}$ is a graph which has a vertex for each elliptic curve in $\mathcal{E}$ and an edge for each $\mathbb{Q}$-isogeny of prime degree that maps one elliptic curve in $\mathcal{E}$ to another elliptic curve in $\mathcal{E}$, with the degree recorded as a label of the edge. An isogeny-torsion graph is an isogeny graph where, in addition, we label each vertex with the abstract group structure of the torsion subgroup over $\mathbb{Q}$ of the correspond…
Let $ρ$ be the $p$-adic Galois representation attached to a cuspidal, regular algebraic, polarizable automorphic representation of $GL_n$. Assuming only that $ρ$ satisfies an irreducibility condition, we prove the vanishing of the adjoint Bloch--Kato Selmer group attached to $ρ$. This generalizes previous work of the author and James Newton.
Let $\mathcal{E}$ be a $\mathbb{Q}$-isogeny class of elliptic curves defined over $\mathbb{Q}$. The isogeny graph associated to $\mathcal{E}$ is a graph which has a vertex for each element of $\mathcal{E}$ and an edge for each $\mathbb{Q}$-isogeny of prime degree that maps one elliptic curve in $\mathcal{E}$ to another elliptic curve in $\mathcal{E}$, with the degree of the isogeny recorded as a label of the edge. The isogeny-torsion graph associated to $\mathcal{E}$ is the isogeny graph associated to $\mathcal{E}$ where, in addition, we label each vertex with the abstract group structure of t…
We construct the three-variable p-adic triple product L-functions attached to Hida families of ellptic newforms and prove the explicit interpolation formulae at all critical specializations by establishing explicit Ichino's formulae for the trilinear period integrals of automorphic forms. Our formulae perfectly fit the conjectural shape of p-adic L-functions predicted by Coates and Perrin-Riou. As an application, we prove the factorization of certain unbalanced p-adic triple product L-functions into a product of anticyclotomic p-adic L-functions for modular forms. By this factorization, we giv…
