Thermal correlation functions and the associated effective statistical potential are computed in two- and three-dimensional non-commutative space using an operator formulation that makes no reference to a star product. The corresponding results for the Moyal and Voros star products are then easily obtained by taking the corresponding overlap with Moyal and Voros bases. The forms of the correlation function and the effective potential are found to be the same, except that in the Voros case the thermal length undergoes a non-commutative deformation, ensuring that it has a lower bound of the order of $\sqrtθ$. It is shown that in a suitable basis (called here quasi-commutative) in the multi-particle sector the thermal correlation function coincides with the commutative result both in the Moyal and Voros cases, with an appropriate non-commutative correction to the thermal length in the Voros case, and that the Pauli principle is restored.
In this paper we consider the problem of a moving heavy quark through a hot non-relativistic, non-commutative Yang-Mills plasma. We discuss about the configuration of the static quark and obtain the quasi-normal modes. Also we find the diffusion constant for the moving heavy quark. The main goal of this study is calculating the jet-quenching parameter for the non-relativistic, non-commutative theory and comparing it with drag forces which recently obtained from the another independent work [1]
We use holography and a string probe approach to compute the drag force on a quark moving in a thermal plasma of non-commutative Yang-Mills (NCYM) theories in various dimensions. The gravity background in these cases are described by a particular decoupling limit of non-extremal (D$(p-2)$, D$p$) brane bound state system. We show how the drag force on an external quark moving in the dual NCYM theories gets corrected due to non-commutativity and as a result the effective viscosity of the plasma gets reduced. We have obtained the drag force for both small and large non-commutativity. This was kno…
We show that the high temperature behavior of non-commutative QED may be simply obtained from Boltzmann transport equations for classical particles. The transport equation for the charge neutral particle is shown to be characteristically different from that for the charged particle. These equations correctly generate, for arbitrary values of the non-commutative parameter theta, the leading, gauge independent hard thermal loops, arising from the fermion and the gauge sectors. We briefly discuss the generating functional of hard thermal amplitudes.
The real-time operator formalism for thermal quantum field theories, thermofield dynamics, is formulated in terms of a path-integral approach in non-commutative spaces. As an application, the two-point function for a thermal non-commutative $λϕ^4$ theory is derived at the one-loop level. The effect of temperature and the non-commutative parameter, competing with one another, is analyzed.
Fully Poincaré covariant quantum field theories on non-commutative Moyal Minkowski spacetime so far have been considered in their vacuum representations, i.e. at zero temperature. Here we report on work in progress regarding their thermal representations, corresponding to physical states at non-zero temperature, which turn out to be markedly different from both, thermal representations of quantum field theory on commutative Minkowski spacetime, and such representations of non-covariant quantum field theory on Moyal Minkowski space with a fixed deformation matrix.
Using the type II near-extremal 3D-branes solution we apply the T-duality and smeared twist to construct the supergravity backgrounds which dual to the 4D finite temperature non-commutative dipole field theories. We first consider the zero-temperature system in which, depending on the property of dipole vectors it may be N=2, N=1 or N=0 theory. We investigate the rotating D3-brane configurations moving on the spactimes and show that, for the cases of N=2 and N =1 the rotating D3-brane could be blowed up to the stable spherical configuration which is called as giant graviton and has a less ener…
Non-commutativity of spacetime at the Planck scale may deform the usual dispersion relations. And these deformed dispersion relations could lead to the accelerating phase without a scalar field. In this paper, we have calculated the spectral index and the running of spectral index in a non-commutative inflation model. Non-commutative inflation with thermal radiation gives a scale invariant spectrum in the limit $w \to -1$ and negative running spectral index which are consistent with the WMAP 3-year results.
In this paper, we investigate the Dirac equation with the Killingbeck potential under the external magnetic field in non-commutative space. Corresponding to the expressions of the energy level and wave functions in spin symmetry limit and pseudo-spin symmetry limit are derived by using the Bethe ansatz method. The parameter B associated with the external magnetic field and non-commutative parameter θ make to modify the energy level for considered systems.
We derive an exact quantum equation of motion for the photon Wigner operator in non-commutative QED, which is gauge covariant. In the classical approximation, this reduces to a simple transport equation which describes the hard thermal effects in this theory. As an example of the effectiveness of this method we show that, to leading order, this equation generates in a direct way the Green amplitudes calculated perturbatively in quantum field theory at high temperature.
Fast scramblers are quantum systems which thermalize in a time scale logarithmic in the number of degrees of freedom of the system. Non-locality has been argued to be an essential feature of fast scramblers. We provide evidence in support of the crucial role of non-locality in such systems by considering the approach to thermalization in a (strongly-coupled) high temperature non-commutative gauge theory. We show that non-locality inherent to non-commutative gauge theories does indeed accelerate the rate of dissipation in the heat bath in stark contrast to the slow random walk diffusive behavio…
We present an important contribution to the non-commutative approach to the hydrogen atom to deal with lamb shift corrections. This can be done by studying the Klein-Gordon and Dirac equations in a non-commutative space-time up to first-order of the non-commutativity parameter using the Seiberg-Witten maps. We thus find the non-commutative modification of the energy levels and by comparing with the the current experimental results on the Lamb shift of the 2P level to extract a bound on the parameter of non-commutativity, we show that the fundamental length ($\sqrtΘ$) is compatible with the val…
We obtain exact solutions to the two-dimensional Klein-Gordon oscillator in a non-commutative complex phase space to first order in the non-commutativity parameter. We derive the exact non-commutative energy levels and show that the energy levels split to $2m$ levels. We find that the non-commutativity plays the role of a magnetic field interacting automatically with the spin of a particle induced by the non-commutativity of complex phase space. The effect of the non-commutativity parameter on the thermal properties is discussed. It is found that the dependence of the heat capacity $C_V$ on th…
We offer a simple non-perturbative formula for the component action of a generic N=1/2 supersymmetric chiral model in terms of an arbitrary number of chiral superfields in four dimensions, which is obtained by the Non-Anti-Commutative (NAC) deformation of a generic four-dimensional N=1 supersymmetric non-linear sigma-model described by arbitrary Kaehler superpotential and scalar superpotential. The auxiliary integrations responsible for fuzziness are eliminated in the case of a single chiral superfield. The scalar potential in components is derived by eliminating the auxiliary fields. The NAC-…
We study a non-commutative non-relativistic scalar field theory in 2+1 dimensions. The theory shows the UV/IR mixing typical of QFT on non-commutative spaces. The one-loop correction to the two-point function turns out to be given by a delta-function in momentum space. The one-loop correction to the four-point function is of logarithmic type. We also evaluate the thermodynamic potential at two-loop order. To avoid an IR-singularity we have to introduce a chemical potential. The suppression of the non-planar contribution with respect to the planar one turns out to depend crucially on the value …
We show that the simplest non commutative renormalizable field theory, the $ϕ^4$ model on four dimensional Moyal space with harmonic potential is asymptotically safe to all orders in perturbation theory
We studied a nilpotent Non-Anti-Commutative (NAC) deformation of the effective superpotentials in supersymmetric gauge theories, caused by a constant self-dual graviphoton background. We derived the simple non-perturbative formula applicable to any NAC (star) deformed chiral superpotential. It is remarkable that the deformed superpotential is always `Lorentz'-invariant. As an application, we considered the NAC deformation of the pure super-Yang-Mills theory whose IR physics is known to be described by the Veneziano-Yankielowicz superpotential (in the undeformed case). The unbroken gauge invari…
The Newtonian Potential is computed exactly in a theory that is fundamentally Non Commutative in the space-time coordinates. When the dispersion for the distribution of the source is minimal (i.e. it is equal to the non commutative parameter $θ$), the behavior for large and small distances is analyzed.
We study a structure of holomorphic quantum contributions to the effective action for ${\cal N}={1/2}$ noncommutative Wess-Zumino model. Using the symbol operator techniques we present the one-loop chiral effective potential in a form of integral over proper time of the appropriate heat kernel. We prove that this kernel can be exactly found. As a result we obtain the exact integral representation of the one-loop effective potential. Also we study the expansion of the effective potential in a series in powers of the chiral superfield $Φ$ and derivative $D^2Φ$ and construct a procedure for syste…
In this paper, we derive the non-commutative corrections to the maximal acceleration in the Doplicher-Fredenhagen-Roberts (DFR) space-time and show that the effect of the non-commutativity is to decrease the magnitude of the value of the maximal acceleration in the commutative limit. We also obtain an upper bound on the acceleration along the non-commutative coordinates using the positivity condition on the magnitude of the maximal acceleration in the commutative space-time. From the Newtonian limit of the geodesic equation and Einstein's equation for linearised gravity, we derive the explicit…
General non-commutative supersymmetric quantum mechanics models in two and three dimensions are constructed and some two and three dimensional examples are explicitly studied. The structure of the theory studied suggest other possible applications in physical systems with potentials involving spin and non-local interactions.
The thermodynamics of ideal gas on the noncommutative geometry in the coherent state formalism is investigated. We first evaluate the statistical interparticle potential and see that there are residual "attraction (repulsion) potential" between boson (fermion) in the high temperature limit. The characters could be traced to the fact that, the particle with mass $m$ in noncommutative thermal geometry with noncommutativity $θ$ and temperature $T$ will correspond to that in the commutative background with temperature $T(1+kTmθ)^{-1}$. Such a correspondence implies that the ideal gas energy will a…
We give precise meaning to piecewise constant potentials in non-commutative quantum mechanics. In particular we discuss the infinite and finite non-commutative spherical well in two dimensions. Using this, bound-states and scattering can be discussed unambiguously. Here we focus on the infinite well and solve for the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions. We find that time reversal symmetry is broken by the non-commutativity. We show that in the commutative and thermodynamic limits the eigenstates and eigenfunctions of the commutative spherical well are recovered and time reversal symmetry is restore…
The simplest non commutative renormalizable field theory, the $ϕ_4$ model on four dimensional Moyal space with harmonic potential is asymptotically safe up to three loops, as shown by H. Grosse and R. Wulkenhaar, M. Disertori and V. Rivasseau. We extend this result to all orders.
Quantisation of Lorentz invariant scalar field theory in Doplicher-Fredenhagen-Roberts (DFR) space-time, a Lorentz invariant, non-commutative space-time is studied. Absence of a unique Lagrangian in non-commutative space-time necessitates us to use an approach to quantisation that is based on the equations of motion alone. Using this we derive the equal time commutation relation between Doplicher-Fredenhagen-Roberts-Amorim (DFRA) scalar field and its conjugate, which has non-commutative dependent modifications, but the corresponding creation and annihilation operators obey usual algebra. We sh…
One of the simplest example of non-commutative (NC) spaces is the NC plane. In this article we investigate the consequences of the non-commutativity to the quantum mechanics on a plane. We derive corrections to the standard (commutative) Hamiltonian spectrum for hydrogen-like atom and isotropic linear harmonic oscillator (LHO) and formulate the problem of the potential scattering on the NC plane. In the case of LHO we consider the noncommutativity of the momentum operators, too.
The simplest non commutative renormalizable field theory, the $ϕ_4^4$ model on four dimensional Moyal space with harmonic potential is asymptotically safe at one loop, as shown by H. Grosse and R. Wulkenhaar. We extend this result up to three loops. If this remains true at any loop, it should allow a full non perturbative construction of this model.
The Wilson loop in the non-commutative dipole field theory is re-examined within the framework of dual gravity description. In contrast to the previous investigations, we let the dual string be moving along the deformed $S^5$ and find the exact expression of the interquark potential. The potential shows a Coulomb behavior at all distance and does not have a minimum distance between quarks, which exhibits in the static configuration. After comparing the potential of the static and moving configurations we find that while the dual string is static at long distance it will transit to a moving con…
We demonstrate how a one parameter family of interacting non-commuting Hamiltonians, which are physically equivalent, can be constructed in non-commutative quantum mechanics. This construction is carried out exactly (to all orders in the non-commutative parameter) and analytically in two dimensions for a free particle and a harmonic oscillator moving in a constant magnetic field. We discuss the significance of the Seiberg-Witten map in this context. It is shown for the harmonic oscillator potential that an approximate duality, valid in the low energy sector, can be constructed between the inte…
The classical action of a two dimensional N=2 supersymmetric theory, characterized by a general Kähler potential, is written down on a non(anti)commutative superspace. The action has a power series expansion in terms of the determinant of the non(anti)commutativity parameter $C^{αβ}$. The theory is explicitly shown to preserve half of the N=2 supersymmetry, to all orders in (det C)^n. The results are further generalized to include arbitrary superpotentials as well.
Non commutative quantum mechanics can be viewed as a quantum system represented in the space of Hilbert-Schmidt operators acting on non commutative configuration space. Taking this as departure point, we formulate a coherent state approach to the path integral representation of the transition amplitude. From this we derive an action for a particle moving in the non commutative plane and in the presence of an arbitrary potential. We find that this action is non local in time. However, this non locality can be removed by introducing an auxilary field, which leads to a second class constrained sy…
In the present work, we wanted to find the possible way in order to make the equivalence between non-commutative and Finsler geometries as two useful mathematical tools. Based on this purpose, we were concerned to search this possibility by investigating the massive gravity black holes. Firstly the Lagrangian of the system is introduced and then it is rewritten in the non-commutative regime by definition of the new variables. On the other hand, we focus on the Finsler geometry in order to find a Finslerian function which is equivalent to the mentioned non-commutative Lagrangian under special c…
The paper deals with non-thermal radiation spectrum by tunnelling mechanism with correction due to the generalized uncertainty principle (GUP) in the background of non-commutative geometry. Considering the reformulation of the tunnelling mechanism by Banerjee and Majhi, the Hawking radiation spectrum is evaluated through the density matrix for the outgoing modes. The GUP corrected effective temperature and the corresponding GUP corrected effective metric in non-commutative geometry are determined using Hawking's periodicity arguments. Thus, we obtain further corrections to the non-strictly the…
We derive the thermal correlators for twisted quantum fields on noncommutative spacetime. We show that the thermal expectation value of the number operator is same as in commutative spacetime, but that higher correlators are sensitive to the noncommutativity parameters $θ^{μν}$.
We consider the standard model in the formulationo of non-commutative geometry, for a Euclidean space-time consisting of two copies. The electroweak scale is set by the vacuum expectation value of a scalar field and is undetermined at the classical level. By adding the Coleman-Weinberg effective potential, that scale turns out to be fixed. Provided that the renormalized form of the Lagrangian maintains the vanishing of the cosmological constant, we show that the only solutions for the minimization equations of the total potential occur in the narrow band $146.2 \le m_t \le 147.4 $ Gev for the …
In this article we study the problem of a non-relativistic particle in the presence of a singular potential in the noncommutative plane. The potential contains a term proportional to $1/R^2$, where $R^2$ is the squared distance to the origin in the noncommutative plane. We find that the spectrum of energies is non analytic in the noncommutativity parameter $θ$.
We investigate the relationship between mass and spin of quark anti-quark bound state in non-commutative gauge theory with N=4 supersymmetry. In the large N and large 't Hooft coupling limit, these bound states correspond to rotating open strings ending on a D-brane embedded into the supergravity background dual of the non-commutative field theory. Although the physical configuration of the open strings are drastically deformed by the non-commutativity, we find that the relation between the energy and the angular momentum of the bound state is unaffected by the non-commutativity parameter. We …
We improve the previous study of the Klein-Gordon equation in a non-commutative space-time as applied to the Hydrogen atom to extract the energy levels, by considering the second-order corrections in the non-commutativity parameter. Phenomenologically we show that non-commutativity is the source of lamb shift corrections.
The non-commutative Wess-Zumino model is used as a prototype for studying the low energy behaviour of a renormalizable non-commutative field theory. We start by deriving the potential mediating the fermion-fermion and boson-boson interactions in the non-relativistic regime. The quantum counterparts of these potentials are afflicted by irdering ambiguities but we show that there exists an ordering prescription which makes them hermitean. For space/space noncommutativity it turns out that Majorana fermions may be pictured as rods oriented perpendicularly to the direction of motion showing a lack…
The non-commutative version of the euclidean $g^2ϕ^4$ theory is considered. By using Wilsonian flow equations the ultraviolet renormalizability can be proved to all orders in perturbation theory. On the other hand, the infrared sector cannot be treated perturbatively and requires a resummation of the leading divergencies in the two-point function. This is analogous to what is done in the Hard Thermal Loops resummation of finite temperature field theory. Next-to-leading order corrections to the self-energy are computed, resulting in $O(g^3)$ contributions in the massless case, and $O(g^6\log g^…
We show that a four-parameter class of 3+1 dimensional NCOS theories can be obtained by dimensional reduction on a general 2-torus from OM theory. Compactifying two spatial directions of NCOS theory on a 2-torus, we study the transformation properties under the $SO(2,2;Z)$ T-duality group. We then discuss non-perturbative configurations of non-commutative super Yang-Mills theory. In particular, we calculate the tension for magnetic monopoles and (p,q) dyons and exhibit their six-dimensional origin, and construct a supergravity solution representing an instanton in the gauge theory. We also com…
The component structure of a generic N=1/2 supersymmetric Non-Linear Sigma-Model (NLSM) defined in the four-dimensional (Euclidean) Non-Anti-Commutative (NAC) superspace is investigated in detail. The most general NLSM is described in terms of arbitrary K"ahler potential, and chiral and anti-chiral superpotentials. The case of a single chiral superfield gives rise to splitting of the NLSM potentials, whereas the case of several chiral superfields results in smearing (or fuzziness) of the NLSM potentials, while both effects are controlled by the auxiliary fields. We eliminate the auxiliary fields…
Quantum field theory on non-commutative spaces does not enjoy the usual ultraviolet-infrared decoupling that forms the basis for conventional renormalization. The high momentum contributions to loop integrations can lead to unfamiliar long distance behavior which can potentially undermine naive expectations for the IR behavior of the theory. These "anomalies" involve non-analytic behavior in the noncommutativity parameter Theta making the limit Theta goes to zero singular. In this paper we will analyze such effects in the one loop approximation to gauge theories on non-commutative space. We wi…
In this paper we construct, and investigate some thermal properties of, the non-commutative counterpart of Rindler space, which we call $κ$--Rindler space. This space is obtained by changing variables in the defining commutators of $κ$--Minkowski space. We then re-derive the commutator structure of $κ$--Rindler space with the help of an appropriate star product, obtained from the $κ$--Minkowski one. Using this star product, following the idea of Padmanabhan, we find the leading order, $1/κ$ correction to the Hawking thermal spectrum.
In this work, we study the thermodynamic properties on a non--commutative background via gravitational gauge field potentials. This procedure is accomplished after contracting de Sitter (dS) group, $\mathrm{SO}(4,1)$, with the Poincarè group, $\mathrm{ISO}(3,1)$. Particularly, we focus on a static spherically symmetric black hole. In this manner, we calculate the modified Hawking temperature and the other deformed thermal state quantities, namely, entropy, heat capacity, Helmholtz free energy and pressure. Finally, we also investigate the black hole evaporation process in such a context.
Using the AdS/CFT correspondence we study UV behavior of Wilson loops in various noncommutative gauge theories. We get an area law in most cases and try to identify its origin. In D3 case, we may identify the the origin as the D1 dominance over the D3: as we go to the boundary of the AdS space, the effect of the flux of the D3 charge is highly suppressed, while the flux due to the D1 charge is enhenced. So near the boundary the theory is more like a theory on D1 brane than that on D3 brane. This phenomena is closely related to the dimensional reduction due to the strong magnetic field in the c…
Apply the T-duality and smeared twist to the D3-brane solution one can construct the supergravity backgrounds which may dual to supersymmetric or non-supersymmetric non-commutative dipole field theory. We introduce D7-brane probe into the dual supergravity background to study the chiral dynamics and meson spectrum therein. We first find that the non-commutative dipole field does not induce the chiral symmetry breaking even if the supersymmetry was completely broken, contrast to the conventional believing that the chiral symmetry will be broken in the non-supersymmetric theory. Next, we find th…
This PhD thesis aims at combining the framework of noncommutative geometry and supersymmetry. A particular class of non-commutative geometries called almost-commutative geometries can be used to describe particle theories. This thesis contains a systematic search for such almost-commutative geometries whose corresponding spectral action exhibits supersymmetry. Chapter 2 discusses extensions of the Standard Model in the context of noncommutative geometry in general. In Chapter three a framework is developed to build and analyze potential supersymmetric theories. Chapter 4 covers supersymmetry b…
Taking advantage of the equivalence between supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory on non-commutative spaces and the field theory limit of D3-branes in the background of NSNS 2-form field, we investigate the static properties of magnetic monopoles and dyons using brane construction techniques. When parallel D3-branes are separated by turning on a Higgs vacuum expectation value, D-strings will stretch between them at an angle which depends on the value of the background 2-form potential. These states preserve half of the supersymmetries and have the same masses as their commutative counterparts in th…
The quantized free Dirac field is considered on Minkowski spacetime (of general dimension). The Dirac field is coupled to an external scalar potential whose support is finite in time and which acts by a Moyal-deformed multiplication with respect to the spatial variables. The Moyal-deformed multiplication corresponds to the product of the algebra of a Moyal plane described in the setting of spectral geometry. It will be explained how this leads to an interpretation of the Dirac field as a quantum field theory on Moyal-deformed Minkowski spacetime (with commutative time) in a setting of Lorentzi…
We pursue an investigation of Logarithmic Electrodynamics, for which the field-energy of a point-like charge is finite, as it happens in the case of the usual Born-Infeld electrodynamics. We also show that, contrary to the latter, Logarithmic Electrodynamics exhibits the feature of birefringence. Next, we analyze the lowest-order modifications for both Logarithmic Electrodynamics and for its non-commutative version, within the framework of the gauge-invariant path-dependent variables formalism. The calculation shows a long-range correction ($1/r^5$- type) to the Coulomb potential for Logarithm…
Electric-magnetic dualities are equivalence between strong and weak coupling constants. A standard example is the exchange of electric and magnetic fields in an abelian gauge theory. We show three methods to perform electric-magnetic dualities in the case of the non-commutative $U(1)$ gauge theory. The first method is to use covariant field strengths to be the electric and magnetic fields. We find an invariant form of an equation of motion after performing the electric-magnetic duality. The second method is to use the Seiberg-Witten map to rewrite the non-commutative $U(1)$ gauge theory in ter…
We analyse open string correlators in non-constant background fields, including the metric $g$, the antisymmetric $B$-field, and the gauge field $A$. Working with a derivative expansion for the background fields, but exact in their constant parts, we obtain a tachyonic on-shell condition for the inserted functions and extract the kinetic term for the tachyon action. The 3-point correlator yields a non-commutative tachyon potential. We also find a remarkable feature of the differential structure on the D-brane: Although the boundary metric $G$ plays an essential role in the action, the natural …
Non commutative quantum field theory is a possible candidate for the quantization of gravity. In our thesis we study in detail the $ϕ4$ model on the Moyal plane with an harmonic potential. Introduced by Grosse and Wulkenhaar, this model exhibits the Langmann-Szabo duality not only for the vertex but also for the propagator. We have obtained several results concerning this model. We have proved the renormalisability of this theory at all orders in the position space. We have introduced the parametric and Complete Mellin representation for the model. Furthermore we have proved that the coupling …
We first study the temporal Wilson loop in the finite-temperature non-commutative dipole field theory from the string/gauge correspondence. The associated dual supergravity background is constructed from the near-horizon geometry of near-extremal D-branes, after applying T-duality and smeared twist. We investigate the string configuration therein and find that while the temperature produces a maximum distance $L_{max}$ in the interquark distance the dipole in there could produce a minimum distance $L_{min}$. The quark boundary pair therefore could be found only if their distance is between $L_…
The Wilson loop in some non-commutative gauge theories is studied by using the dual string description in which the corresponding string is on the curved background with B field. For the theory in which a constant B field is turned on along the brane worldvolume the Wilson loop always shows a Coulomb phase, as studied in the previous literature. We extend the examination to the theory with a non-constant B field, which duals to the gauge theory with non-constant non-commutativity, and re-examine the theory in the presence of a nonzero B field with one leg along the brane worldvolume and other …
The behaviour of solutions to the partial differential equation $(D + λW)f_λ= 0$ is discussed, where $D$ is a normal hyperbolic partial differential operator, or pre-normal hyperbolic operator, on $n$-dimensional Minkowski spacetime. The potential term $W$ is a $C_0^\infty$ kernel operator which, in general, will be non-local in time, and $λ$ is a complex parameter. A result is presented which states that there are unique advanced and retarded Green's operators for this partial differential equation if $|λ|$ is small enough (and also for a larger set of $λ$ values). Moreover, a scattering oper…
We obtain exact solutions of the 2D Schrödinger equation with the central potentials $V(r)=ar^2+br^{-2}+cr^{-4}$ and $V(r)=ar^{-1}+br^{-2}$ in a non-commutative space up to the first order of non-commutativity parameter using the power-series expansion method similar to the 2D Schrödinger equation with the singular even-power and inverse-power potentials respectively in commutative space. We derive the exact non-commutative energy levels and show that the energy is shifted to $m$ levels, as in the Zeeman effect.
