We analyze the supersymmetry and the shape invariance of the potentials of the (1+1) relativistic oscillators we have recently proposed.
The planar Dirac and the topologically massive vector gauge fields are unified into a supermultiplet involving no auxiliary fields. The superPoincaré symmetry emerges from the $osp(1|2)$ supersymmetry realized in terms of the deformed Heisenberg algebra underlying the construction. The non-relativistic limit yields spin 1/2 as well as new, spin 1 "Lévy-Leblond-type" equations which, together, carry an N=2 superSchrödinger symmetry. Part of the latter has its origin in the universal enveloping algebra of the superPoincaré algebra.
Hamiltonians describing the relativistic quantum dynamics of a particle with an arbitrary spin are shown to exhibit a supersymmetric structure when the even and odd elements of the Hamiltonian commute. In this work, a spin $\frac 12$ relativistic particle described by a generalized potential containing both the Coulomb potential and a Lorentz scalar potential in Dirac equation is investigated in terms of the generalized ladder operators from supersymmetry in quantum mechanics. This formalism is applied for the generalized Dirac-Coulomb problem, which is an exactly solvable potential in relativistic quantum mechanics. We obtain the energy eigenvalues and calculate explicitly the energy eigenfunctions for the ground state and the first excited state.

We study the non relativistic limit of the charge conjugation operation $\cal C$ in the context of the Dirac equation coupled to an electromagnetic field. The limit is well defined and, as in the relativistic case, $\cal C$, $\cal P$ (parity) and $\cal T$ (time reversal) are the generators of a matrix group isomorphic to a semidirect sum of the dihedral group of eight elements and $\Z_2$. The symmetries of the Lévy-Leblond equation are investigated beyond the standard Lie framework. It is shown that the equation has two remarkable symmetries. One is given by the super Schrödinger algebra and the other one by a $\ZZ$ graded Lie algebra. The resolvent of supersymmetric Dirac Hamiltonian is studied in detail. Due to supersymmetry the squared Dirac Hamiltonian becomes block-diagonal whose elements are in essence non-relativistic Schrödinger-type Hamiltonians. This enables us to find a Feynman-type path-integral representation of the resulting Green's functions. We study quantum field models in indefinite metric. We introduce the modified Wightman axioms of Morchio and Strocchi as a general framework of indefinite metric quantum field theory (QFT) and present concrete interacting relativistic models obtained by analytical continuation from some stochastic processes with Euclidean invariance. As a first step towards scattering theory in indefinite metric QFT, we give a proof of the spectral condition on the translation group for the relativistic models.
After analyzing Dirac's equation, one can suggest that a well-known quantum-mechanical momentum operator is associated with relativistic momentum, rather than with non-relativistic one. Consideration of relativistic energy and momentum expressions allows us to define the non-relativistic, relativistic and pseudo-relativistic (present in Schrödinger equation) kinetic energy operators. Consequences of kinetic energy operator's correction for spectra of basic quantum Hamiltonians are investigated. In some cases this correction can produce remarkable spectra modifications.
