We consider a relativistic Ansatz for the vacuum expectation values (VEVs) of a quantum field on a globally hyperbolic space-time which is motivated by certain Euclidean field theories. The Yang-Feldman asymptotic condition w.r.t. a "in"-field in a quasi-free representation of the canonic commutation relations (CCR) leads to a solution of this Ansatz for the VEVs. A GNS-like construction on a non-degenerate inner product space then gives local, covariant quantum fields with indefinite metric on a globally hyperbolic space-time. Scattering theory for dipole quantum fields

In the present work a general frame for the scattering theory of local, relativistic dipole quantum fields is presented and some models of interacting dipole fields are considered, i.e. local, relativistic quantum fields with indefinite metric which asymptotically do not converge to free fields, but to free dipole fields. Remarks on local symmetry invariance in perturbative algebraic quantum field theory

We investigate various aspects of invariance under local symmetries in the framework of perturbative algebraic quantum field theory (pAQFT). Our main result is the proof that the quantum Batalin-Vilkovisky (BV) operator, on-shell, can be written as the commutator with the interacting BRST charge. Up to now, this was proven only for a certain class of fields in quantum electrodynamics and in Yang-Mills theory.
