We present a search for chargino-neutralino associated production using like electric charge dilepton events collected by the CDF II detector at the Fermilab Tevatron in proton-antiproton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 1.96$ TeV. One lepton is identified as the hadronic decay of a tau lepton, while the other is an electron or muon. In data corresponding to 6.0 fb$^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity, we obtain good agreement with standard model predictions, and set limits on the chargino-neutralino production cross section for simplified gravity- and gauge-mediated models. As an example, assuming that the chargino and neutralino decays to taus dominate, in the simplified gauge-mediated model we exclude cross sections greater than 300 fb at 95% credibility level for chargino and neutralino masses of 225 \gevcc. This analysis is the first to extend the LHC searches for electroweak supersymmetric production of gauginos to high $\tanβ$ and slepton next-to-lightest supersymmetric particle scenarios.
Combined results are presented on the search for a neutral Higgs boson in the di-tau final state using 1.8fb-1 and 2.2fb-1 of integrated luminosity collected at the CDF and D0 experiments respectively. Data were collected in ppbar collisions at a centre of mass energy of 1.96TeV during RunII of the Tevatron. Limits are set on the cross section times branching ratio ranging from 13.6pb to 0.653pb for Higgs masses from 90GeV to 200GeV respectively. The results are then interpreted as limits in four different benchmark scenarios within the framework of the MSSM.
In Run II of the CDF experiment, traditional dilepton triggers are enriched by lepton (electrons or muons) plus track, di-tau and tau plus missing transverse energy triggers at Level-3 dedicated to physical processes including tau leptons. We describe these triggers, along with their physics motivations, implementation and cross-sections and report on their initial performance.
We present the results of a search for new particles decaying to tau pairs using the data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 195 pb^-1 collected from March 2002 to September 2003 with the CDF detector at the Tevatron. Hypothetical particles, such as Zprime and MSSM Higgs bosons can potentially produce the tau pair final state. We discuss the method of tau identification, and show the signal acceptance versus new particle mass. The low-mass region, dominated by Z -> tau tau, is used as a control region. In the high-mass region, we expect 2.8 +/- 0.5 events from known background source…
We present the first exclusive observation of the ttbar to hadronic tau + jets decay channel. Using these events from 1.96 TeV ppbar collisions at CDF, we measure the ttbar cross section as well as the top quark mass. Events require a single hadronic tau, large missing transverse energy, and exactly 4 jets of which at least one must be tagged as a b jet. The cross section measurement is extracted from a Poisson likelihood function based on the observed number of events and the predicted number of signal and background events for a given ttbar cross section. The mass is extracted from a likelih…
We present the results of a search for supersymmetry with gauge-mediated breaking and $\NONE\toγ\Gravitino$ in the $γγ$+missing transverse energy final state. In 2.6$\pm$0.2 \invfb of $p{\bar p}$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}$$=$1.96 TeV recorded by the CDF II detector we observe no candidate events, consistent with a standard model background expectation of 1.4$\pm$0.4 events. We set limits on the cross section at the 95% C.L. and place the world's best limit of 149\gevc on the \none mass at $τ_{\tildeχ_1^0}$$<<$1 ns. We also exclude regions in the \none\ mass-lifetime plane for $τ_{\tildeχ_1^0}$$\…
The study of processes containing tau leptons in the final state will play an important role at Tevatron Run II. Such final states will be relevant both for electroweak studies and measurements as well as in searches for physics beyond the Standard Model. The present paper discuss the physics opportunities and challenges related to the implementation of new set of triggers able to select events containing tau candidates in the final state. We illustrate, in particular, the physics capabilities for a variety of new physics scenarios such as supersymmetry (SUSY), SUSY with R-parity violation, wi…
We present the results of a search for anomalous production of diphoton events with large missing transverse energy using the Collider Detector at Fermilab. In 202 $\invpb$ of $\ppbar$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=1.96$ TeV we observe no candidate events, with an expected standard model background of $0.27\pm0.07({\rm stat})\pm0.10({\rm syst})$ events. The results exclude a lightest chargino of mass less than 167 GeV/$c^2$, and lightest neutralino of mass less than 93 GeV/$c^2$ at 95% C.L. in a gauge--mediated supersymmetry-- breaking model with a light gravitino.
Events with signatures involving large missing transverse energy (MET) are among the quintessential search modes for R-parity conserving supersymmetry. CDF has conducted two recent analyses for supersymmetry which use MET and jets. The MET and monojet signature is employed to determine process independent limits for the production of new physics beyond the Standard Model and then applied to models of spontaneous breaking of supersymmetry to determine limits on the supersymmetry breaking parameter and the gravitino mass. Direct searches for scalar top and scalar bottom quarks within the framewo…
We combine results from CDF and D0 on direct searches for a standard model (SM) Higgs boson (H) in ppbar collisions at the Fermilab Tevatron at sqrt{s}=1.96 TeV. Compared to the previous Higgs Tevatron combination, more data and new channels (WH to tau nu b bbar, VH to tau tau b bbar/jj tau tau,VH to jj b bbar, t tbar H to t tbar b bbar) have been added. Most previously used channels have been reanalyzed to gain sensitivity. We use the latest parton distribution functions and gg to H theoretical cross sections when comparing our limits to the SM predictions. With 2.0-3.6 fb-1 of data analyzed …
Recently, the CDF collaboration reports an anomaly in dijet mass distribution in association with a lepton and missing energy. We discuss a possibility that the origin of the lepton and missing energy comes not from a W boson but a new boson particle, which is also responsible for the dijet mass peak. We show that such a situation can be realized in the framework of the minimal supersymmetric standard model and the dijet anomaly can be explained.
We present the current status of the search for new physics at CDF, using integrated luminosity up to 3.2 fb-1. We cover searches for supersymmetry, extra dimensions, new heavy bosons, and generic dilepton resonances.
A brief review of searches for physics beyond the Standard Model with photons using the CDF detector at the Tevatron is given here. These include searches for supersymmetry, extra dimensions, excited electrons and W/Z$+γ$ production, as well as anomalous photon production. Recent results from CDF Run II experiment is presented, but some results from Run I are also reviewed.
We present a more detailed account of our study (hep-ph/9903238) for the supersymmetry reach of the Tevatron in channels with isolated leptons and identified tau jets. We review the theoretical motivations for expecting such signatures, and describe the relevant parameter space in the minimal supergravity and the minimal gauge-mediated models. With explicit Monte Carlo simulations we then show that for certain parameter ranges, channels with two leptons and one tau jet offer a better reach in Run II than the clean trilepton signal. We emphasize than improving on tau ID is an important prerequi…
We present the non-standard model Higgs boson searches at both DO and CDF experiments. We concentrate on three topics, reported by DO and CDF recently: the searches for the minimal supersymmetric Higgs boson using pp--> hbb --> bbbb and pp --> hX --> tau tau X, and for long-lived doubly charged Higgs boson.
We report preliminary results from the analyses looking for top candidates in the channel with 6 jets in the final state (all hadronic) and in the dilepton channel with one tau lepton (tau dilepton), using a data sample of 110 pb^{-1} collected by the CDF experiment at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider.
Searches for new physics in events with hadronic jets, missing transverse energy, and two leptons of which at least one is a hadronically decaying tau are presented. The result is based on a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1 $\fbi$ at a center-of-mass energy of 7 TeV collected by the CMS experiment at the LHC. No significant excess with respect to the standard model predictions is found.
The addition of the EMTiming system installed to provide the time measurements of the electromagnetic calorimeter signals has significantly increased the sensitivity of CDF to events with a photon and a missing energy. Here I review recent searches in this signature performed by CDF using data from proton-antiproton collisions at the center of mass energy of 1.96 TeV. They provide new constraints on models with large extra dimensions and with gauge mediated supersymmetry breaking.
We combine results from CDF and D0 searches for a standard model Higgs boson in ppbar collisions at the Fermilab Tevatron at sqrt{s}=1.96 TeV. With 1.0-2.4 fb-1 of data collected at CDF, and 1.1-2.3 fb-1 at D0, the 95 % C.L. upper limits on Higgs boson production are a factor of 3.7 (1.1) higher than the SM cross section for a Higgs boson mass of m_{H}=115 (160) GeV. Based on simulation, the median expected upper limit should be 3.3 (1.6). Standard Model branching ratios, calculated as functions of the Higgs boson mass, are assumed. Compared to the previous Higgs Tevatron combination, more dat…
We present combined results on the search for neutral supersymmetric Higgs bosons with data collected at the CDF and D0 experiments. Data were collected in proton-antiproton collisions at sqrt(s) = 1.96 TeV during Run II of the Tevatron. The searches considered cover the main production and decay mechanisms for Higgs bosons in tau lepton and bottom quark final states. The resulting combination is interpreted in the context of different scenarios within the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model.
A search for production of supersymmetric particles in final states containing jets, missing transverse momentum, and at least one hadronically decaying tau lepton is presented. The data were recorded by the ATLAS experiment in sqrt(s) = 7 TeV proton-proton collisions at the Large Hadron Collider. No excess above the Standard Model background expectation was observed in 2.05 fb-1 of data. The results are interpreted in the context of gauge mediated supersymmetry breaking models with Mmess = 250 TeV, N5 = 3, mu > 0, and Cgrav = 1. The production of supersymmetric particles is excluded at 95% C.…
We present an overview of searches for MSSM Higgs at the Tevatron, concentrating on searches probing the high tan(beta) region. We discuss the search for A/H -> tau tau which is soon to be completed in the Run I data and review the new tau triggers implemented by CDF and D0 in Run II, which will greatly impact this analysis. We also present the results of a Run I search for A/H bb -> bbbb performed by CDF and highlight expected improvements in this channel by both experiments in Run II.
We constrain, from rare tau decays, several combinations of $λ$ and $λ'$ type couplings coming from Supersymmetry without R-parity. The processes that we consider are tau --> l M, tau --> l_i l_j l_k, and tau --> l gamma, where l stands for either e or mu, and M is the generic symbol for a meson. We update several existing bounds, and provide a few new ones too.
CDF recently reported an excess of events in the mu-gamma-missing E_T channel that disagrees with the Standard Model prediction. No such excess was observed in the e-gamma-mett channel. We explain the excess via resonant smuon production with a single dominant R-parity violating coupling lambda'_{211}, in the context of models where the gravitino is the lightest supersymmetric particle. The slepton decays to the lightest neutralino and a muon followed by neutralino decaying to a gravitino and photon. We determine a viable region of parameter space that fits the kinematical distributions of the…
CDF and D0 collaborations analyzed up to 200 pb-1 of the delivered data in search for different supersymmetry signatures, so far with negative results. We present results on searches for chargino and neutralino associated production, squarks and gluinos, sbottom quarks, gauge mediated SUSY breaking and long lived heavy particles.
This paper reviews some of the most recent results from CDF and D0 experiments on searches for supersymmetry (SUSY) at the Tevatron. We focus on searches for chargino/neutralino, stop, sbottom, and long lived massive SUSY particles, on data samples up to ~1 fb-1. No signal was observed, and constraints are set on the SUSY parameter space.
The D0 and CDF experiments at the proton-antiproton collider Tevatron have extensively searched for the Higgs boson and signals of supersymmetry using a wide range of signatures. The status of these searches is reviewed with a focus on recent measurements.
The chargino-neutralino production with subsequent leptonic decays is one of the most promising supersymmetry (SUSY) signatures at the Tevatron proton-antiproton collider. We present the most recent results on the search for the three-lepton and missing-transverse-energy SUSY signature using 3.2 fb-1 of data collected with the CDF II detector. The results are interpreted within the minimal supergravity (mSUGRA) scenario.
We combine results from CDF and D0's direct searches for the standard model (SM) Higgs boson (H) produced in p-pbar collisions at the Fermilab Tevatron at sqrt(s)=1.96 TeV. The results presented here include those channels which are most sensitive to Higgs bosons with mass between 130 and 200 GeV/c^2, namely searches targeted at Higgs boson decays to W+W-, although acceptance for decays into tau+tau- and gamma gamma is included. Compared to the previous Tevatron Higgs search combination, more data have been added and the analyses have been improved to gain sensitivity. We use the MSTW08 parton…
A search for long-lived charged massive particles in CDF's Run1b data sample is presented. The search looks for highly ionizing tracks which would result from slowly moving massive particles. We search for strongly produced particles using a stable color triplet quark as a reference model, and a separate search was performed for weakly produced particles using long-lived sleptons in Gauge Mediated Supersymmetry Breaking as a reference model. No excess over background was observed, and we derive limits on the cross-sections for production of these particles. Prospects for RunII are also discuss…
A search for supersymmetry (SUSY) in events with large missing transverse momentum, jets, and at least one hadronically decaying tau lepton, with zero or one additional light lepton (e/mu), has been performed using 4.7 fb-1 of proton-proton collision data at sqrt(s) = 7 TeV recorded with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. No excess above the Standard Model background expectation is observed and a 95% confidence level visible cross-section upper limit for new phenomena is set. In the framework of gauge-mediated SUSY-breaking models, lower limits on the mass scale Lambda are set at…
We search for pair production of doubly charged Higgs particles followed by decays into electron-tau and muon-tau pairs using data (350 inverse picobarns) collected from proton-antiproton collisions at 1.96 TeV by the CDF II experiment. We search separately for cases where three or four final-state leptons are detected, and combine results for exclusive decays to left-handed electron-tau (muon-tau) pairs. We set a lower mass limit of 114 (112) GeV/cc at the 95% confidence level for left-handed doubly charged Higgs.
Searches have been made for first generation scalar and vector leptoquarks by the D0 collaboration and for second generation scalar leptoquarks by the CDF collaboration. Lower leptoquark mass limits were set. A search for squarks and gluinos, predicted by Supersymmetric models, was made by D0 in the three or more jets plus missing Et channel. The number of events observed was consistent with background. Squark and gluino mass limits were set.
We present a search for chargino and neutralino supersymmetric particles yielding same signed dilepton final states including one hadronically decaying tau lepton using 6.0 $fb^{-1}$ of data collected by the the CDF II detector. This signature is important in SUSY models where, at high $\tanβ$, the branching ratio of charginos and neutralinos to tau leptons becomes dominant. We study event acceptance, lepton identification cuts, and efficiencies. We set limits on the production cross section as a function of SUSY particle mass for certain generic models.
We present the status of the Standard Model Higgs boson searches in final states containing τ leptons using data collected from p-pbar collisions at Fermilab Tevatron collider at center-of-mass energy of 1.96 TeV. A summary of the latest results from CDF and D0 collaborations is reported in this paper.
The production of chargino-neutralino pairs and their subsequent leptonic decays is one of the most promising supersymmetry (SUSY) signatures at the Tevatron $p\bar{p}$ collider. We present here the most recent results on the search for the three-lepton and missing-transverse-energy SUSY signature using data collected with the CDF II detector. The results are interpreted within the minimal supergravity (mSugra) scenario.
We present the most recent results of searches for physics beyond the Standard Model using the CDF and D0 detector in the contest of Supersymmetry (SUSY) with Supergravity (SUGRA) constraints. All results described correspond to analysis performed using the past 1992-1996 Fermilab Tevatron Run I data (roughly 110pb-1 per each experiment). In particular we report on searches for stop decay in tau channel assuming R-Parity violation; searches for R-Parity Violating LSP decays in di-muon plus 4 jets channel; searches for resonant slepton production in R-Parity Violating mSUGRA; searches for mSUGR…
These lectures contain an introduction to the search for supersymmetry at hadron colliders. The Tevatron is one of high-energy physics most sophisticated tools. The high center-of-mass energy of its proton-antiproton collisions makes it an ideal place to search for physics beyond the Standard Model, such as supersymmetry. Two experiments, CDF and DØ, completed a long data taking period in summer of 1995, yielding over $100 p b^{-1}$ of proton-- antiproton interactions. The data recorded by the experiments are still being analysed. The lectures outline the strategies in the search for supersymm…
We present evidence for dilepton events from t tbar production with one electron or muon and one hadronically decaying tau lepton from the decay t tbar -> (l nu_l) (tau nu_tau) b bbar, (l=e, mu), using the Collider Detector at Fermilab (CDF). In a 109 pb^-1 data sample of p pbar collisions at sqrt(s) = 1.8 TeV we expect ~1 signal event and a total background of ~2 events; we observe 4 candidate events (2 e tau and 2 mu tau). Three of these events have jets identified as b candidates, compared to an estimated background of 0.28+-0.02 events.
The CDF collaboration presents an updated measurement of the CP-violating parameter beta_s and of the decay width difference Delta Gamma_s using approximately 6500 Bs to J/Psi Phi decays collected by the dimuon trigger and reconstructed in a data sample corresponding to 5.2/fb of integrated luminosity. Besides exploiting the two-fold increase in the data sample with respect to the previous measurement, several improvements have been introduced in the analysis including a fully data-driven flavor tagging calibration and proper treatment of possible S-wave contributions. We find that the CP-viol…
We present a search for neutral supersymmetric Higgs bosons decaying to tau pairs produced in p-pbar collisions at sqrt(s) = 1.96 TeV. The data, corresponding to 310 pb^(-1) integrated luminosity, were collected with the CDF II detector at the Tevatron collider at Fermilab. No significant excess above the standard model backgrounds is observed. We set exclusion limits on the production cross section times branching fraction to tau pairs for Higgs masses in the range from 90 to 250 GeV/c^2.
We present a search for top-antitop events with a tau lepton in the final state. The data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 194/pb collected with the CDF II detector from proton-antiproton collisions at a center of mass energy of 1.96 TeV. We observe two events with an expected signal of 1.0+/-0.2 events and a background of 1.3+/-0.3 events. We determine a 95% confidence level upper limit on r_tau, the ratio of the measured rate of top->tau nu quark to the expectation, of 5.2.
We combine results from CDF and DO on direct searches for a standard model (SM) Higgs boson (H) in pbar-p collisions at the Fermilab Tevatron at sqrt{s}=1.96 TeV. Compared to the previous Higgs Tevatron combination, more data and new channels (WH to tau nu b bbar, VH to tau tau b bbar/jj tau tau, VH to jj b bbar, t tbar H to t tbar b bbar) have been added. Most previously used channels have been reanalyzed to gain sensitivity. We use the latest parton distribution functions and gg to H theoretical cross sections when comparing our limits to the SM predictions. With 2.0-3.6fb^-1 of data analyze…
We present a search for neutral supersymmetric Higgs bosons decaying to tau+tau- pairs produced in ppbar collisions at sqrt{s}=1.96 TeV. The data have been collected with the CDF II and D0 detectors at the Tevatron collider at Fermilab (1 fb^-1 of integrated luminosity per experiment). No significant excess above the standard model backgrounds is observed. We set exclusion limits on the Higgs production cross-section times the branching fraction of its decay to tau+tau- pairs for Higgs masses in the range from 90 to 250 GeV/c^2. We also set exclusion limits on MSSM parameters m_A and tan_beta …
CDF and DO detectors have already collected 1.3 fb^{-1} of data delivered by the Tevatron collider at 1.96 TeV center-of-mass energy. We present here the various analyses that are currently testing the possibility of a supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model. No evidence for such processes have been found in luminosities that range from 300 to 800 pb^{-1} and different limits on the different supersymmetric models are set. Constraints coming from indirect searches are also presented.
We present a search for tau sneutrino production using the Tevatron ppbar collision data collected with the CDF II detector and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1 fb^-1. We focus on the scenarios predicted by the R-parity violating (RPV) supersymmetric models in which tau sneutrinos decay to two charged leptons of different flavor. With the data consistent with the standard model expectations, we set the upper limits on sigma(ppbar -> tau sneutrino)*BR(tau sneutrino ->emu,mutau,etau) and use these results to constrain the RPV couplings as a function of tau sneutrino mass.
We present a measurement of the top-quark mass using a sample of $t\bar{t}$ events in 5.7 fb$^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity from $p\bar{p}$ collisions at the Fermilab Tevatron with $\sqrt{s} =$ 1.96 TeV and collected by the CDF II Detector. We select events having no identified charged leptons, large missing transverse energy, and four, five, or six jets with at least one jet tagged as coming from a $b$ quark. This analysis considers events from the semileptonic \ttbar decay channel, including events that contain tau leptons. The measurement is based on a multidimensional template method. We …
We present the results of the first hadron collider search for heavy, long-lived neutralinos that decay via lightest neutralino to gamma gravitino in gauge-mediated supersymmetry breaking models. Using an integrated luminosity of $570\pm34 pb^{-1}$ of $p\bar{p}$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=1.96$ TeV, we select $γ$+jet+missing transverse energy candidate events based on the arrival time of a high-energy photon at the electromagnetic calorimeter as measured with a timing system that was recently installed on the CDF II detector. We find 2 events, consistent with the background estimate of 1.3$\pm$0.…
A search for supersymmetry (SUSY) in events with large missing transverse momentum, jets, at least one hadronically decaying tau lepton and zero or one additional light leptons (electron/muon), has been performed using 20.3 fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collision data at $\sqrt{s} = 8$ TeV recorded with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. No excess above the Standard Model background expectation is observed in the various signal regions and 95% confidence level upper limits on the visible cross section for new phenomena are set. The results of the analysis are interpreted in several …
We present the results of a search for anomalous resonant production of tau lepton pairs with large invariant mass, the first such search using the CDF II Detector in Run II of the Tevatron $p\bar{p}$ collider. Such anomalous production could arise from various new physics processes. In a data sample corresponding to 195 pb$^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity we predict 2.8$\pm$0.5 events from Standard Model background processes and observe 4. We use this result to set limits on the production of heavy scalar and vector particles decaying to tau lepton pairs.
We present the results of a search for Higgs bosons predicted in two-Higgs-doublet models, in the case where the Higgs bosons decay to tau lepton pairs, using 1.8 inverse fb of integrated luminosity of proton-antiproton collisions recorded by the CDF II experiment at the Fermilab Tevatron. Studying the observed mass distribution in events where one or both tau leptons decay leptonically, no evidence for a Higgs boson signal is observed. The result is used to infer exclusion limits in the two-dimensional parameter space of tan beta versus m(A).
We use the three lepton and missing energy "trilepton" signature to search for chargino-neutralino production with $2.0 fb^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity collected by the CDF II experiment at the Tevatron $p\bar{p}$ collider. We expect approximately 11 supersymmetric events for a specific choice of parameters of the mSUGRA model, but our observation of 7 events is consistent with the standard model expectation of 6.4 events. We constrain the mSUGRA model of supersymmetry and rule out chargino masses up to $145 GeV/c^2$ for a specific choice of parameters.
The four-lepton final state, rare in standard model processes, is an attractive channel for new physics searches at the LHC. In supersymmetry (SUSY), charged leptons may arise from R-Parity conserving (RPC) cascade decays of SUSY particles to the lightest supersymmetric particle, or from R-Parity violating (RPV) decays to standard model particles. This paper presents a search for supersymmetry in events with at least four charged leptons carried out using 20.3 $\text{fb}^{-1}$ of proton-proton collision data taken with the ATLAS detector at $\sqrt{s} =$ 8 TeV during the 2012 LHC run. Up to two…
In this article results from supersymmetry searches at D0 and CDF are reported. Searches for third generation squarks, searches for gauginos, and searches for models with R-parity violation are described. As no signs of supersymmetry for these models are observed, the most stringent limits to date are presented.
We use the three lepton and missing energy "trilepton" signature to search for chargino-neutralino production with 2.0 inverse femtobarns of integrated luminosity collected by the CDF II experiment at the Tevatron ppbar collider. We expect an excess of approximately 11 supersymmetric events for a choice of parameters of the mSUGRA model, but our observation of 7 events is consistent with the standard model expectation of 6.4 events. We constrain the mSUGRA model of supersymmetry and rule out chargino masses up to 145 GeV/c^2 for a specific choice of parameters.
This is a brief overview on the low energy supersymmetry in light of current experiments including the LHC searches, the dark matter (DM) detections, the muon g-2 and the CDF II measurement of the W-boson mass. We focus on the minimal framework of supersymmetry, namely the minimal supersymmetric model (MSSM), and obtain the following conclusions: (i) The MSSM can survive all current experiments, albeit suffering from the little hierarchy problem due to the heavy stops pushed up by the LHC searches; (ii) The DM relic density can be readily achieved by the thermal freeze-out of the lightest neut…
We present the results of a search for supersymmetry with gauge-mediated breaking and $\NONE\toγ\Gravitino$ in the $γγ$+missing transverse energy final state. We set limits on the cross section at the 95% C.L. and place the world's best limit of 149 \gevc on the \none mass at $τ_{\tildeχ_1^0}$$\ll$1 ns. Both Tevatron experiments, D0 and CDF, have searched for signs of Supersymmetry in the present Run II data sample, using integrated luminosities of up to 260/pb collected in ppbar collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 1.96TeV. In these proceedings, new results are presented in the search for squarks and gluinos in the jets and missing transverse energy final state, associated production of charginos and neutralinos with multilepton final states, search for the rare decay B_s->mumu, searches allowing R-parity violation (muons+jets, multileptons), and searches in the gauge mediated supersymme…
A search for supersymmetry in events with large missing transverse momentum, jets, and at least one hadronically decaying tau lepton has been performed using 3.2 fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collision data at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV recorded by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider in 2015. Two exclusive final states are considered, with either exactly one or at least two tau leptons. No excess over the Standard Model prediction is observed in the data. Results are interpreted in the context of gauge-mediated supersymmetry breaking and a simplified model of gluino pair production with tau-ri…
We search for pair production of supersymmetric top quarks (~t_1), followed by R-parity violating decay ~t_1 -> tau b with a branching ratio beta, using 322 pb^-1 of ppbar collisions at sqrt{s}=1.96 TeV collected by the CDF II detector at Fermilab. Two candidate events pass our final selection criteria, consistent with the standard model expectation. We set upper limits on the cross section sigma(~t_1 ~tbar_1)*beta^2 as a function of the stop mass m(~t_1). Assuming beta=1, we set a 95% confidence level limit m(~t_1)>153 GeV/c^2. The limits are also applicable to the case of a third generation …
We present a search for like-sign dielectron plus multijet events using 107 pb-1 of data in \ppbar collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 1.8$ TeV collected in 1992-95 by the CDF experiment. Finding no events that pass our selection, we set $σ\cdot Br$ limits on two SUSY processes that can produce this experimental signature: gluino-gluino or squark-antisquark production with R-parity violating decays of the charm squark or lightest neutralino via a non-zero lambda'_121 coupling. We compare our results to NLO calculations for gluino and squark production cross sections and set lower limits on M(gluino), M(…
