We use the three lepton and missing energy "trilepton" signature to search for chargino-neutralino production with $2.0 fb^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity collected by the CDF II experiment at the Tevatron $p\bar{p}$ collider. We expect approximately 11 supersymmetric events for a specific choice of parameters of the mSUGRA model, but our observation of 7 events is consistent with the standard model expectation of 6.4 events. We constrain the mSUGRA model of supersymmetry and rule out chargino masses up to $145 GeV/c^2$ for a specific choice of parameters.
The production of chargino-neutralino pairs and their subsequent leptonic decays is one of the most promising supersymmetry (SUSY) signatures at the Tevatron $p\bar{p}$ collider. We present here the most recent results on the search for the three-lepton and missing-transverse-energy SUSY signature using data collected with the CDF II detector. The results are interpreted within the minimal supergravity (mSugra) scenario.
We use the three lepton and missing energy "trilepton" signature to search for chargino-neutralino production with 2.0 inverse femtobarns of integrated luminosity collected by the CDF II experiment at the Tevatron ppbar collider. We expect an excess of approximately 11 supersymmetric events for a choice of parameters of the mSUGRA model, but our observation of 7 events is consistent with the standard model expectation of 6.4 events. We constrain the mSUGRA model of supersymmetry and rule out chargino masses up to 145 GeV/c^2 for a specific choice of parameters.
We report the results of a search for associated production of charginos and neutralinos using a data set corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.3 fb-1 collected with the D0 experiment during Run II of the Tevatron proton-antiproton collider. Final states containing three charged leptons and missing transverse energy are probed for a signal from supersymmetry with four dedicated trilepton event selections. No evidence for a signal is observed, and we set limits on the product of production cross section and leptonic branching fraction. Within minimal supergravity, these limits translat…
We propose a like-sign dilepton search for chargino-neutralino production in p-pbar collisions at sqrt(s) = 1.8 TeV, which complements the previously published trilepton search by the CDF detector using Fermilab Run I data. Monte Carlo predictions for the signal and background efficiencies indicate a significant increase in sensitivity to chargino-neutralino production compared to the traditional trilepton analysis alone.
A search is performed for the electroweak pair production of charginos and associated production of a chargino and neutralino, each of which decays through an $R$-parity-violating coupling into a lepton and a $W$, $Z$, or Higgs boson. The trilepton invariant-mass spectrum is constructed from events with three or more leptons, targeting chargino decays that include an electron or muon and a leptonically decaying $Z$ boson. The analyzed dataset corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 139 fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collision data produced by the Large Hadron Collider at a center-of-mass energy…
We propose a simplified light higgsino-singlino scenario in the NMSSM, in which the masses of the chargino and the lightest neutralino determine the masses and couplings of all 3 lightest neutralinos. This scenario is complementary to the simplified wino-like chargino/neutralino scenario used conventionally for the interpretation of results from trilepton searches, and motivated by lower bounds on the gluino mass in the case of GUT relations between the wino and gluino masses. We present all masses and mixing angles necessary for the determination of production cross sections of the chargino a…
We present the results of a search for associated production of the lightest chargino and next-to-lightest neutralino using 1 fb$^{-1}$ of $\sqrt s$ = 1.96 TeV p$\rm \bar p$ data collected with the CDF detector at the Tevatron. We combine the results of several multi-lepton final states to set upper limits on the cross section times branching ratio for chargino-neutralino production as a function of the chargino mass.
One of the benchmark processes for the optimisation of the detector concepts proposed for the International Linear Collider is Chargino and Neutralino pair production in an mSugra scenario where Chargino-1 and Neutralino-2 are mass degenerate and decay into W+Neutralino-1 and Z+Neutralino-1, respectively. In this case the separation of both processes in the fully hadronic decay mode is very sensitive to the jet energy resolution and thus to the particle flow performance. The mass resolutions and cross-section uncertainties achievable with the ILD detector concept are studied in full simulation…
A search for charginos and neutralinos, predicted by supersymmetric theories, is performed using a data sample of 182.1 pb-1 taken at a centre-of-mass energy of 189 GeV with the OPAL detector at LEP. No evidence for chargino or neutralino production is found. Upper limits on chargino and neutralino pair production cross-sections are obtained as a function of the chargino mass, the lightest neutralino mass and the second lightest neutralino mass. Within the Constrained Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model framework, and for a chargino - neutralino mass difference of more than 5 GeV, the 95% co…
I present a review of the searches for charginos and neutralinos using data from proton-antiproton collision at the centre of mass energy of 1.96 TeV collected by the CDF and the D0 experiments at the Tevatron during run II.
We present a study performed for the CLIC CDR on the measurement of chargino and neutralino production at sqrt(s) = 3 TeV. Fully hadronic final states with four jets and missing transverse energy were considered. Results obtained using full detector simulation for the masses and for the production cross sections of the changino and the lightest and next-to-lightest neutralinos are discussed.
We present a search for chargino and neutralino supersymmetric particles yielding same signed dilepton final states including one hadronically decaying tau lepton using 6.0 $fb^{-1}$ of data collected by the the CDF II detector. This signature is important in SUSY models where, at high $\tanβ$, the branching ratio of charginos and neutralinos to tau leptons becomes dominant. We study event acceptance, lepton identification cuts, and efficiencies. We set limits on the production cross section as a function of SUSY particle mass for certain generic models.
Data taken by the DO experiment at the proton-antiproton collider at Tevatron has been analyzed to search for signatures consistent with decay of charginos and neutralinos. The search is performed in final states with three leptons and missing transverse energy. No excess above the standard model expectation is observed and limits on the production cross section times branching fraction are set.
Results of a search for the electroweak associated production of charginos and next-to-lightest neutralinos, pairs of charginos or pairs of tau sleptons are presented. These processes are characterised by final states with at least two hadronically decaying tau leptons, missing transverse momentum and low jet activity. The analysis is based on an integrated luminosity of 20.3 fb$^{-1}$ of proton--proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=8$ TeV recorded with the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. No significant excess is observed with respect to the predictions from Standard Model processes. …
A search for charginos nearly mass degenerate with the lightest neutralino is performed with the data collected by the ALEPH detector at LEP, at centre-of-mass energies between 189 and 209 GeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 628 pb-1. The analysis is based on the detection of isolated and energetic initial state radiation photons, produced in association with chargino pairs whose decay products have little visible energy. The number of candidate events observed is in agreement with that expected from Standard Model background sources. These results are combined with those of othe…
A search for charginos and neutralinos, predicted by supersymmetric theories, has been performed using a data sample of 57 pb-1 at centre-of-mass energies of 181-184 GeV taken with the OPAL detector at LEP. No evidence for chargino or neutralino production has been found. Upper limits on chargino and neutralino pair production cross-sections are obtained as a function of the chargino mass, the lightest neutralino mass, and the second lightest neutralino mass. For large chargino masses the limits have been improved with respect to the previous analyses at lower centre-of-mass energies. Exclusio…
Within the framework of supersymmetry, charginos and/or neutralinos are often the preferred topics of searches for experimental evidence. This is due to the facts that in much of parameter space they are the lightest supersymmetric partners and they offer unique final states to separate from standard model backgrounds. The D0 experiment has performed several recent searches including the traditional trilepton final state and a decay chain involving dark photons.
Supersymmetry, if realized in Nature, predicts the existence of new particles, as chargino and neutralino, which might manifest themselves with peculiar signatures. Three leptons and large missing transverse energy in the event could signal their associated production. We report the latest results of the search performed by the CDF Collaboration in proton-antiproton collisions at Tevatron Run II.
This note reports the results of a study of the accuracy in the determination of chargino and neutralino masses in two high-mass supersymmetric scenarios through kinematic endpoints and threshold scans at a multi-TeV e+e- collider. The effects of initial state radiation, beamstrahlung and parton energy resolution are studied in fully hadronic final states of inclusive SUSY samples. Results obtained at generator level are compared to those from fully simulated and reconstructed events for selected channels.
In the CP-violating Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model, we study the production of a neutralino-chargino pair at the LHC. For their decays into three leptons, we analyze CP asymmetries which are sensitive to the CP phases of the neutralino and chargino sector. We present analytical formulas for the entire production and decay process, and identify the CP-violating contributions in the spin correlation terms. This allows us to define the optimal CP asymmetries. We present a detailed numerical analysis of the cross sections, branching ratios, and the CP observables. For light neutralinos, cha…
We search for inclusive high $E_T$ diphoton events with large missing transverse energy in $p\bar{p}$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}$=1.8 TeV. Such events are expected from pair production of charginos and neutralinos within the framework of the minimal supersymmetric standard model with a light gravitino. No excess of events is observed. In that model, and assuming gaugino mass unification at the GUT scale, we obtain a 95% CL exclusion region in the supersymmetry parameter space and lower mass bounds of 150 GeV/c$^2$ for the lightest chargino and 75 GeV/c$^2$ for the lightest neutralino.
A search for charginos with masses close to the mass of the lightest neutralino is reported, based on the data collected with the DELPHI detector at LEP from 1995 to 1997 at centre-of-mass energies between 130 and 183 GeV. The signature of a photon at high transverse momentum radiated from the initial state reduces the two-photon background to acceptable rates, thus making the mass differences between a few hundred MeV/c^2 and 3 GeV/c^2 detectable. In very nearly degenerate scenarios, the lifetime of the chargino can be large enough to produce either visible secondary vertices or decays outsid…
Searches for the direct electroweak production of supersymmetric charginos, neutralinos, and sleptons in a variety of signatures with leptons and W, Z, and Higgs bosons are presented. Results are based on a sample of proton-proton collision data collected at center-of-mass energy sqrt(s) = 8 TeV with the CMS detector in 2012, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 19.5 inverse femtobarns. The observed event rates are in agreement with expectations from the standard model. These results probe charginos and neutralinos with masses up to 720 GeV, and sleptons up to 260 GeV, depending on the…
We report the result of a search for charginos and neutralinos, in e+e- collisions at 189 GeV centre-of-mass energy at LEP. No evidence for such particles is found in a data sample of 176 pb^{-1}. Improved upper limits for these particles are set on the production cross sections. New exclusion contours in the parameter space of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model are derived, as well as new lower limits on the masses of these supersymmetric particles. Under the assumptions of common gaugino and scalar masses at the GUT scale, we set an absolute lower limit on the mass of the lightest neu…
The data recorded by the ALEPH detector at centre-of-mass energies of 161, 170, and 172 GeV are analysed for signals of chargino and neutralino production. No evidence of a signal is found, although candidate events consistent with the expectations from Standard Model processes are observed. Limits at 95% C.L. on the production cross sections are derived and bounds on the parameters of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model are set. The lower limit on the mass of the lightest chargino is 85.5 GeV/c^2 for gaugino-like charginos (mu = -500 GeV/c^2), and 85.0 GeV/c^2 for Higgsino-like chargino…
The 2011 dataset of the CMS experiment, consisting of an integrated luminosity of 4.98 inverse femtobarns of pp collisions at sqrt(s) = 7 TeV, enables expanded searches for direct electroweak pair production of charginos and neutralinos in supersymmetric models as well as their analogs in other models of new physics. Searches sensitive to such processes, with decays to final states that contain two or more leptons, are presented. Final states with three leptons, with a same-sign lepton pair, and with an opposite-sign lepton pair in conjunction with two jets, are examined. No excesses above the…
The data collected by DELPHI in 1998 at the centre-of-mass energy of 189 GeV have been used to update the search for charginos nearly mass-degenerate with the lightest supersymmetric particle, which is assumed to be the lightest neutralino. Mass differences below ΔM = 3 GeV/c^2 are considered. No excess of events with respect to the Standard Model expectation has been observed, and exclusions in the plane of ΔM versus chargino mass are given. The new ΔM independent lower limit on the mass of the chargino is 62.4 GeV/c^2 in the higgsino scenario (which includes the gaugino mass unification scen…
A statistical combination of several searches for the electroweak production of charginos and neutralinos is presented. All searches use proton-proton collision data at $\sqrt{s}=$ 13 TeV, recorded with the CMS detector at the LHC in 2016 and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 35.9 fb$^{-1}$. In addition to the combination of previous searches, a targeted analysis requiring three or more charged leptons (electrons or muons) is presented, focusing on the challenging scenario in which the difference in mass between the two least massive neutralinos is approximately equal to the mass of…
Searches for the electroweak production of charginos, neutralinos and sleptons in final states characterized by the presence of two leptons (electrons and muons) and missing transverse momentum are performed using 20.3 fb-1 of proton-proton collision data at sqrt(s) = 8 TeV recorded with the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. No significant excess beyond Standard Model expectations is observed. Limits are set on the masses of the lightest chargino, next-to-lightest neutralino and sleptons for different lightest-neutralino mass hypotheses in simplified models. Results are also inter…
A search was performed for charginos with masses close to the mass of the lightest neutralino in e+e- collisions at centre-of-mass energies of 189-209 GeV recorded by the OPAL detector at LEP. Events were selected if they had an observed high-energy photon from initial state radiation, reducing the dominant background from two-photon scattering to a negligible level. No significant excess over Standard Model expectations has been observed in the analysed data set corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 570pb-1. Upper limits were derived on the chargino pair-productin cross-section, and lo…
Searches for supersymmetry (SUSY) are presented based on the electroweak pair production of neutralinos and charginos, leading to decay channels with Higgs, Z, and W bosons and undetected lightest SUSY particles (LSPs). The data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of about 19.5 inverse femtobarns of proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 8 TeV collected in 2012 with the CMS detector at the LHC. The main emphasis is neutralino pair production in which each neutralino decays either to a Higgs boson (h) and an LSP or to a Z boson and an LSP, leading to hh, hZ, and ZZ st…
A search for electroweak production of supersymmetric (SUSY) particles in final states with one lepton, a Higgs boson decaying to a pair of bottom quarks, and large missing transverse momentum is presented. The search uses data from proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV collected using the CMS detector at the LHC, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 137 fb$^{-1}$. The observed yields are consistent with backgrounds expected from the standard model. The results are interpreted in the context of a simplified SUSY model of chargino-neutralino production, with the …
The chargino-neutralino production with subsequent leptonic decays is one of the most promising supersymmetry (SUSY) signatures at the Tevatron proton-antiproton collider. We present the most recent results on the search for the three-lepton and missing-transverse-energy SUSY signature using 3.2 fb-1 of data collected with the CDF II detector. The results are interpreted within the minimal supergravity (mSUGRA) scenario.
We present a search for the associated production of charginos and neutralinos in p-pbar collisions at 1.96 TeV. The data were collected at the Collider Detector at Fermilab (CDF II) and correspond to integrated luminosities between 0.7 and 1.0 fb-1. We look for final states with one high pT electron or muon, and two additional leptons. Our results are consistent with the standard model expectations, and we set limits on the cross section as a function of the chargino mass in three different supersymmetric scenarios. For a specific MSSM scenario with no slepton mixing we set a 95 % C.L. limit …
A direct search for electroweak production of charginos and neutralinos is presented. Events with three or four leptons, with up to two hadronically decaying $τ$ leptons, or two same-sign light leptons are analyzed. The data sample consists of 137 fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collisions with a center of mass energy of 13 TeV, recorded with the CMS detector at the LHC. The results are interpreted in terms of several simplified models. These represent a broad range of production and decay scenarios for charginos and neutralinos. A parametric neural network is used to target several of the models w…
A search for associated production of charginos and neutralinos is performed using data recorded with the D0 detector at a ppbar center-of-mass energy of 1.96 TeV at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. This analysis considers final states with missing transverse energy and three leptons, of which at least two are electrons or muons. No evidence for supersymmetry is found in a dataset corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 320 pb-1. Limits on the product of the production cross section and leptonic branching fraction are set. For the minimal supergravity model, a chargino lower mass limit of …
A search for charginos and neutralinos, predicted by supersymmetric theories, has been performed using a data sample of 10.3 pb^-1 at centre-of-mass energies of sqrt(s) = 170 and 172 GeV with the OPAL detector at LEP. No evidence for these particles has been found. The results are combined with those from previous OPAL chargino and neutralino searches at lower energies to obtain limits. Exclusion regions at 95% C.L. of parameters of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model are determined. Within this framework, for tan(beta) >= 1.0, lower mass limits are placed on the lightest chargino and th…
We present the results of a search for associated production of the chargino and neutralino supersymmetric particles using up to 1.1 fb-1 of integrated luminosity collected by the CDF II experiment at the Tevatron ppbar collider at a center-of-mass energy of 1.96 TeV. The search is conducted by analyzing events with a large transverse momentum imbalance and either three charged leptons or two charged leptons of the same electric charge. The numbers of observed events are found to be consistent with standard model expectations. Upper limits on the production cross section are derived in differe…
A search is presented for direct chargino production based on a disappearing-track signature using 20.3 fb-1 of proton-proton collisions at sqrt(s) = 8 TeV collected with the ATLAS experiment at the LHC. In anomaly-mediated supersymmetry breaking (AMSB) models, the lightest chargino is nearly mass-degenerate with the lightest neutralino and its lifetime is long enough to be detected in the tracking detectors by identifying decays that result in tracks with no associated hits in the outer region of the tracking system. Some models with supersymmetry also predict charginos with a significant lif…

Results are reported from a search for physics beyond the standard model in proton-proton collision events with a charged lepton (electron or muon), two jets identified as originating from a bottom quark decay, and significant imbalance in the transverse momentum. The search was performed using a data sample corresponding to 35.9 inverse femtobarns, collected by the CMS experiment in 2016 at sqrt(s) = 13 TeV. Events with this signature can arise, for example, from the electroweak production of gauginos, which are predicted in models based on supersymmetry. The event yields observed in data are…
A search for the direct production of charginos and neutralinos in final states with three leptons and missing transverse momentum is presented. The analysis is based on 20.3 fb-1 of sqrt(s) = 8 TeV proton--proton collision data delivered by the Large Hadron Collider and recorded with the ATLAS detector. Observations are consistent with the Standard Model expectations and limits are set in R-parity-conserving phenomenological Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Models and in simplified supersymmetric models, significantly extending previous results. For simplified supersymmetric models of direct c…
We have searched in $p \bar{p}$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 1.8 TeV for events with three charged leptons and missing transverse energy. In the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model, we expect trilepton events from chargino-neutralino ($\chione \chitwo$) pair production, with subsequent decay into leptons. We observe no candidate $e^+e^-e^\pm$, $e^+e^-μ^\pm$, $e^\pmμ^+μ^-$ or $μ^+μ^-μ^\pm$ events in 106 pb$^{-1}$ integrated luminosity. We present limits on the sum of the branching ratios times cross section for the four channels: $σ_{\chione\chitwo}\cdot $BR$(\chione\chitwo\to 3\ell+X) < 0.34$~…
A search for supersymmetry through the pair production of electroweakinos is presented in a three-lepton final state. The analyzed proton-proton collision data taken at a centre-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV were collected between 2015 and 2018 by the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $139$ fb$^{-1}$. The search emulates the recursive jigsaw reconstruction technique using conventional analysis variables, searching for low-mass chargino-neutralino pair production that decays to on-shell $W$ and $Z$ bosons. The technique is valida…
A search is presented for the direct pair production of a chargino and a neutralino $pp\to\tildeχ^\pm_1\tildeχ^0_2$, where the chargino decays to the lightest neutralino and the $W$ boson, $\tildeχ^\pm_1 \to \tildeχ^0_1 (W^{\pm}\to\ell^{\pm}ν)$, while the neutralino decays to the lightest neutralino and the 125 GeV Higgs boson, $\tildeχ^0_2 \to \tildeχ^0_1 (h\to bb/γγ/\ell^{\pm}νqq)$. The final states considered for the search have large missing transverse momentum, an isolated electron or muon, and one of the following: either two jets identified as originating from bottom quarks, or two phot…
The fully hadronic final states of two signal processes from an mSUGRA inspired scenario (SUSY-P5) are studied within a full simulation of the LDC' detector model. These are chargino pair and neutralino pair production, i.e. e+e- -> C1C1 -> qq'N1 qq'N1 and e+e- -> N2N2 -> qq'N1 qq'N1. Both processes have to be separated sufficiently from all background to measure the respective production cross sections and extract the masses of the involved bosinos, m(C1), m(N2) and m(LSP)=m(N1). This is achieved by fitting the energy spectra of the reconstructed gauge bosons while taking into account the fin…
The results from a search for chargino-neutralino or chargino pair production via electroweak interactions are summarized. The results are based on a sample of $\sqrt{s}=13~\mathrm{TeV}$ proton-proton collisions from the LHC, recorded with the CMS detector~\cite{cms} and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $137~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$. The search considers final states with large missing transverse momentum and pairs of hadronically decaying bosons WW, WZ, and WH, which are identified using novel algorithms. No significant excess of events is observed relative to the expectation from the st…
Results are presented from a search for the electroweak production of supersymmetric particles in pp collisions in final states with two tau leptons. The observed event yields in the signal regions are consistent with the expected standard model backgrounds. The results are interpreted using simplified models describing the pair production and decays of charginos or …
A search is conducted for the electroweak pair production of a chargino and a neutralino $pp \rightarrow \tildeχ^\pm_1 \tildeχ^0_2$, where the chargino decays into the lightest neutralino and a $W$ boson, $\tildeχ^\pm_1 \rightarrow \tildeχ^0_1 W^{\pm}$, while the neutralino decays into the lightest neutralino and a Standard Model-like 125 GeV Higgs boson, $\tildeχ^0_2 \rightarrow \tildeχ^0_1 h$. Fully hadronic, semileptonic, diphoton, and multilepton (electrons, muons) final states with missing transverse momentum are considered in this search. Higgs bosons in the final state are identified by…

The analysis is based on 4.7 fb-1 of sqrt(s) = 7 TeV proton-proton collision data delivered by the Large Hadron Collider and recorded with the ATLAS detector. Observations are consistent with Standard Model expectations in three signal regions that are either depleted or enriched in Z-boson decays. Upper limits at 95% confidence level are set in R-parity conserving phenomenological minimal supersymmetric models and in simplified models, sig…

The results are based on a sample of proton-proton collision data collected at $\sqrt{s} =$ 13 TeV, recorded with the CMS detector at the LHC, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 35.9 fb$^{-1}$. The observed event yields are consistent with the expectations based on the standard model. The results…
The chargino/neutralino pair production is one of the benchmarking processes of ILC. These processes are interesting not only because it allows high precision measurement of chargino and neutralino masses, but also for the reason that the separation of W and Z bosons through their hadronic decay products requires excellent jet resolution being a good benchmark of the detector performance. The analysis based on the SiD detector concept with four jets and missing energy final state will be presented. The uncertainty of chargino and neutralino cross sections can be determined with precision of 0.…
We present results of the search for the super-symmetric partner of the top quark, the stop quark, decaying to a b-quark and chargino with the subsequent chargino decay into a neutralino, lepton and neutrino. Using the data sample corresponding to 2.7 inv fb of integrated luminosity, collected with the CDF Detector of the Tevatron collider, we reconstruct the stop mass of candidate events and set 95% C. L. upper limits on masses of the stop quark, chargino and neutralino and the branching ratio of chargino to neutralino+lepton+neutrino.
We present the results of a search for pair production of the supersymmetric partner of the top quark (the stop quark $\tilde{t}_{1}$) decaying to a $b$-quark and a chargino $\chargino$ with a subsequent $\chargino$ decay into a neutralino $\neutralino$, lepton $\ell$, and neutrino $ν$. Using a data sample corresponding to 2.7 fb$^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity of $p\bar{p}$ collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 1.96$ TeV collected by the CDF II detector, we reconstruct the mass of candidate stop events and fit the observed mass spectrum to a combination of standard model processes and stop quark signal. …
The momentum spectrum and the polarization of charginos and neutralinos in squark decays are affected by gluon radiation in the decay process \tilde{q} \to q \tildeχ (g). We determine these corrections and study their impact on the [ql] invariant mass distributions for leptonic \tildeχ decays. The higher-order corrections, though small in general, can be sizeable near pronounced edges of the final-state distributions.
A search for chargino$-$neutralino pair production in three-lepton final states with missing transverse momentum is presented. The study is based on a dataset of $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV $pp$ collisions recorded with the ATLAS detector at the LHC, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 139 fb$^{-1}$. No significant excess relative to the Standard Model predictions is found in data. The results are interpreted in simplified models of supersymmetry, and statistically combined with results from a previous ATLAS search for compressed spectra in two-lepton final states. Various scenarios for the p…
