英文摘要:
In this work we use an eikonalized minijet model where the effects of the first nonlinear corrections to the DGLAP equations are taken into account. The contributions coming from gluon recombination effects are included in the DGLAP+GLRMQ approach for the free proton in the context of saturation models. The parameters of the model are fixed to fit total $pp$ and $\bar p p$ cross sections, including the very recent data from LHC, HiRes and P. Auger Collaborations. Glauber and multiple scattering approximations are then used to describe the inclusive inelastic proton-Air cross section. Photoproduction cross sections, without change of parameters fixed before, are also obtained from the model using Vector Meson Dominance and the Additive Quark Model. We show and discuss our main results as well as the implications of saturation effects in the behavior of total hadronic and photonic cross sections at very high energies.
In the framework of eikonalized mini-jet model, contributions from gluon recombination effects are studied for the free proton in $pp$ and $\bar p p$ reactions. The nuclear configurational entropy is then used to calculate the main parameters to estimate the total proton cross sections for the recent data LHC, also corroborating to previous developments. Photoproduction cross sections with vector meson dominance and saturation effects for both total hadronic and photonic cross sections at a high energy regime are investigated. Extreme points of the configurational entropy provide the experimen…
Even though the total hadronic nucleus-nucleus cross section is among the most fundamental observables, it has only recently been measured precisely for lead-lead collisions at the LHC. This measurement implies the nucleon width should be below 0.7 fm, which is in contradiction with all known state-of-the-art Bayesian estimates. We study the implications of the smaller nucleon width on quark-gluon plasma properties such as the bulk viscosity. The smaller nucleon width dramatically improves the description of several triple-differential observables.
The Born cross section and dressed cross section of $e^+e^-$ to $b\bar{b}$ and the total hadronic cross section in $e^+e^-$ annihilation in the bottomonium energy region are calculated based on the Rb values measured by the BaBar and Belle experiments. The data are used to calculate the vacuum polarization factors in the bottomonium energy region, and to determine the resonant parameters of the vector bottomonium(-like) states, the Y(10750), Upsilon(5S), and Upsilon(6S).
A method for modelling the prompt production of molecular states using the hadronic rescattering framework of the general-purpose Pythia event generator is introduced. Production cross sections of possible exotic hadronic molecules via hadronic rescattering at the LHC are calculated for the $χ_{c1}(3872)$ resonance, a possible tetraquark state, as well as three possible pentaquark states, $P_c^+(4312)$, $P_c^+(4440)$, and $P_c^+(4457)$. For the $P_c^+$ states, the expected cross section from $Λ_b$ decays is compared to the hadronic-rescattering production. The $χ_{c1}(3872)$ cross section is c…

Investigating the impact of the gluon saturation effects on the momentum transfer distributions for the exclusive vector meson photoproduction in hadronic collisions
We present the first study of production of $ψ(4040)$, $ψ(4160)$, and $ψ(4415)$ mesons in hadronic matter. Quark interchange between two colliding charmed mesons leads to the production of the three mesons. We calculate unpolarized cross sections for the reactions, $D\bar{D} \to ρR$, $D\bar{D}^* \to πR$, $D\bar{D}^* \to ρR$, $D^*\bar{D} \to πR$, $D^*\bar{D} \to ρR$, $D^*\bar{D}^* \to πR$, and $D^*\bar{D}^* \to ρR$, where $R$ stands for $ψ(4040)$, $ψ(4160)$, and $ψ(4415)$. In the temperature region covering hadronic matter the peak cross sections of producing $ψ(4040)$ are similar to or larger …
We present new results for next-to-leading order (NLO) electroweak (EW) corrections to double polarization signals in the $WZ$ production channel at the LHC using the $e^+ν_e μ^+ μ^-$ final state. It is found that the EW corrections are most sizable in the transverse momentum distributions of the doubly longitudinal polarization, being around -10% compared to the NLO QCD prediction at $p_{T,e}\approx 200$ GeV, which is in the accessible energy range of the current LHC data.
The analysis on the hadron-hadron scattering at high energies in the framework of holographic QCD is presented. Combining the Pomeron exchange kernel and the hadron-Pomeron couplings which are obtained from the bottom-up AdS/QCD models, we calculate the total cross sections. Our calculation for the nucleon-nucleon scattering is consistent with the experimental data including the recent ones measured by the TOTEM collaboration at the LHC. Within the framework, one can consider other processes involving other hadrons. As examples to show this feature of the model, the resulting total cross secti…
In the present paper we consider the so-called effective cross section, a quantity which encodes the experimental knowledge on double parton scattering in hadronic collisions that has been accomulated so far. We show that the effective cross section, under some assumptions close to those adopted in its experimental extractions, can be used to obtain a range of mean transverse distance between an interacting parton pair in double parton scattering. Therefore we have proved that the effective cross section offers a way to access information on the hadronic structure.
In this work, we extended our statistical model with charmed and bottomed hadrons, and fit the quark creational probabilities for the heavy quarks, using low energy inclusive charmonium and bottomonium data. With the finalized fit for all the relevant types of quarks (up, down, strange, charm, bottom) at the energy range from a few GeV up to a few tens of GeV's, the model is now considered complete. Some examples are also given for proton-proton, pion-proton, and proton-antiproton collisions with charmonium, bottomonium, and open charm hadrons in the final state.
We investigate the hadron-hadron total cross sections at high energies in the framework of holographic QCD. In our model setup, the involved strong interaction is described by the Brower-Polchinski-Strassler-Tan Pomeron exchange kernel, and the two form factors are obtained from the bottom-up AdS/QCD models. We show that the resulting nucleon-nucleon total cross section is consistent with the experimental data recently measured by the TOTEM collaboration at the LHC. As examples to see the general versatility of the model, we also present our analysis on the pion-nucleon and pion-pion cases, wh…
Inclusive production cross sections of the possible exotic state X(3872) in proton-proton, pionp-roton and proton-antiproton collisions are calculated using a statistical based model, which is previously used to describe inclusive charmed and bottomed hadron production cross sections in the low energy region. With the extensions made here, the model is capable to include tetraquarks as well, using the diquark picture of tetraquarks. The evaluated cross section ratio of $Ψ(2S)$ and $X(3872)$ at $\sqrt{s}=7$ TeV agrees well with the measured value.
In this article we propose a model based on the Statistical Bootstrap approach to estimate the cross sections of different hadronic reactions up to a few GeV in c.m.s energy. The method is based on the idea, when two particles collide a so called fireball is formed, which after a short time period decays statistically into a specific final state. To calculate the probabilities we use a phase space description extended with quark combinatorial factors and the possibility of more than one fireball formation. In a few simple cases the probability of a specific final state can be calculated analyt…
The hadronic vacuum polarisation contributions to the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon, $a_μ^{\rm had, VP}$ are evaluated dispersively via a combination of experimentally measured $e^+e^-\rightarrow {\rm hadrons}$ cross section data. Many experiments have dedicated programmes to precisely measure these final states, meaning that a vast amount of data is now available and that, in some cases, overall precision has reached the sub-percent level. However, data tensions are evident between measurements of the same hadronic channels from different experiments, which reduces the overall quality…
Temperature dependence of cross sections for meson-meson nonresonant reactions in hadronic matter
我们研究了强子物质中发生的吸热非共振反应的非极化截面:I=2时π介子到ρ ρ,I = 1时KK到K * K *,I=3/2时π介子到ρ K *,I = 3/2时ρ K到ρ K *,以及I = 3/2时π介子到ρ K *。
