We investigate the possibility of using phonon-drag imaging for the study of 2D electrons in (110) AlAs quantum wells. Our numerical simulations show that direct information on the strain and quantum confinement dependent valley occupancy of the electrons, on the anisotropic effective mass tensor and on electron-phonon coupling parameters can be obtained.
We have measured the lifetimes of two zone-center longitudinal acoustic phonon modes, at 320 GHz and 640 GHz respectively, in a 14 nm GaAs / 2 nm AlAs superlattice structure. By comparing measurements at 296 K and 79 K we separate the intrinsic contribution to phonon lifetime determined by phonon-phonon scattering from the extrinsic contribution due to defects and interface roughness. At 296 K, the 320-GHz phonon lifetime has approximately equal contributions from intrinsic and extrinsic scattering, whilst at 640 GHz it is dominated by extrinsic effects. These measurements are compared with fi…
We measure the lifetime of the zone-center 340 GHz longitudinal phonon mode in a GaAs-AlAs superlattice excited and probed with femtosecond laser pulses. By comparing measurements conducted at room temperature and liquid nitrogen temperature we separate the intrinsic (phonon-phonon scattering) and extrinsic contributions to phonon relaxation. The estimated room temperature intrinsic lifetime of 0.95 ns is compared to available calculations and experimental data for bulk GaAs. We conclude that ~0.3 THz phonons are in the transition zone between Akhiezer and Landau-Rumer regimes of phonon-phonon…
Cyclotron-resonance (CR) spectra of a gas of interacting polarons confined in a GaAs/AlAs quantum well are theoretically investigated taking into account the magneto-plasmon-phonon mixing and band nonparabolicity. Contributions of different magneto-plasmon-phonon modes to the total magneto-polaron coupling strength are investigated as a function of the electron density. It is confirmed theoretically, that the resonant magneto-polaron coupling in a high-density GaAs/AlAs quantum well occurs near the GaAs TO-phonon frequency rather than near the GaAs LO-phonon frequency. Calculated CR spectra ar…
The temperature dependence of phonon-induced resistance oscillations has been investigated in two-dimensional electron system with moderate mobility at large filling factors at temperature range T = 7.4 - 25.4 K. The amplitude of phonon-induced oscillations has been found to be governed by quantum relaxation time which is determined by electron-electron interaction effects. This is in agreement with results recently obtained in ultra-high mobility two-dimensional electron system with low electron density [A. T. Hatke et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 102, 086808 (2009)]. The shift of the main maximum o…
A variational solution of the coupled electron-phonon Boltzmann equations is used to calculate the phonon drag contribution to the thermopower in a 1-D system. A simple formula is derived for the temperature dependence of the phonon drag in metallic, single-walled carbon nanotubes. Scattering between different electronic bands yields nonzero values for the phonon drag as the Fermi level varies.
We study phonon-drag contribution to the thermoelectric power in a quasi-two-dimensional electron system confined in GaAs/AlGaAs heterostructure in presence of both Rashba spin-orbit interaction and perpendicular magnetic field at very low temperature. It is observed that the peaks in the phonon-drag thermopower split into two when the Rashba spin-orbit coupling constant is strong. This splitting is a direct consequence of the Rashba spin-orbit interaction. We show the dependence of phonon-drag thermopower on both magnetic field and temperature numerically. A power-law dependence of phonon-dra…
The capacity to electrically detect phonons, ultimately at the single-phonon limit, is a key requirement for many schemes for phonon-based quantum computing, so-called quantum phononics. Here, we predict that by exploiting the strong coupling of their electrons to surface-polar phonons, van der Waals heterostructures can offer a suitable platform for phonon sensing, capable of resolving energy transfer at the single-phonon level. The geometry we consider is one in which a drag momentum is exerted on electrons in a graphene layer, by a single out-of-equilibrium phonon in a dielectric layer of h…
The role of optical-phonons in frictional drag between two adjacent but electrically isolated two-dimensional electron gases is investigated. Since the optical-phonons in III-V materials have a considerably larger coupling to electrons than acoustic phonons (which are the dominant drag mechanism at low T and large separations) it might be expected that the optical phonons will give a large effect high temperatures. The two key differences between optical and acoustic phonon mediated drag are: (1) the optical phonon mediated interlayer interaction is short-ranged due to their negligible group v…
We observe the phonon-drag voltage oscillations correlating with the resistance oscillations under microwave irradiation in a two-dimensional electron gas in perpendicular magnetic field. This phenomenon is explained by the influence of dissipative resistivity modified by microwaves on the phonon-drag voltage perpendicular to the phonon flux. When the lowest-order resistance minima evolve into zero-resistance states, the phonon-drag voltage demonstrates sharp features suggesting that current domains associated with these states can exist in the absence of external dc driving.
We study thermoelectric transport through a coherent molecular conductor connected to two electron and two phonon baths using the nonequilibrium Green's function method. We focus on the mutual drag between electron and phonon transport as a result of `momentum' transfer, which happens only when there are at least two phonon degrees of freedom. After deriving expressions for the linear drag coefficients, obeying the Onsager relation, we further investigate their effect on nonequilibrium transport. We show that the drag effect is closely related to two other phenomena: (1) adiabatic charge pumpi…
We theoretically study phonon-drag contribution to the thermoelectric power and hot-electron energy-loss rate in a Rashba spin-orbit coupled two-dimensional electron system (2DES) in the Bloch-Gruneisen (BG) regime. We assume that electrons interact with longitudinal acoustic phonons through deformation potential and with both longitudinal and transverse acoustic phonons through piezoelectric potential. Effect of the Rashba spin-orbit interaction on magnitude and temperature dependence of the phonon-drag thermoelectric power and hot-electron energy-loss rate are discussed. We numerically extra…
This letter calculates the contribution of electron-phonon interaction to thermoelectric effects in graphene. One considers the case of free standing graphene taking into account interaction with intrinsic acoustic phonons. The temperatures considered range from liquid nitrogen to the room level. It has turned out that the contribution to thermoelectromotive force due to electron drag by phonons is determined by the Fermi energy in the sample and phonon relaxation time. The explicit temperature dependence of the contribution to thermoelectromotive force deriving from by phonons is weak in cont…
Existence of representative longitudinal optical (LO) phonon modes is theoretically discussed for the case of polar semiconductor cylindrical quantum dots embedded in a semiconductor matrix. The approach is developed within the dielectric continuum model considering the Fröhlich interaction between electrons and the confined LO phonons. The theory is applied to cylindrical GaAs/AlAs quantum dots within an adiabatic treatment.
We report on a study of the phonon-mediated frictional drag between two-dimensional electron layers at the Landau level filling factor $ν=1/2$ predicted by Chern-Simons composite-fermion theory. Frictional drag between widely spaced layers is dominated by the phonon-mediated interaction and is altered from its zero-field form because of the large composite-fermion effective mass and, less strongly, by magnetic local-field effects. We find that the reduced drag resistance $ρ(T)/T^2$ peaks at a larger temperature and has a different density dependence than at zero field. We compare these results…
Experiments studying phonon mediated drag in the double layer two dimensional electron gas system are reported. Detailed measurements of the dependence of drag on temperature, layer spacing, density ratio, and matched density are discussed. Comparisons are made to theoretical results [M. C. Bonsager et al., Phys. Rev. B 57, 7085 (1998)] which propose the existence of a new coupled electron-phonon collective mode. The layer spacing and density dependence at matched densities for samples with layer spacings below 2600 A do not support the existence of this mode, showing behavior expected for ind…
Achieving significant doping in GaAs/AlAs core/shell nanowires (NWs) is of considerable technological importance but remains a challenge due to the amphoteric behavior of the dopant atoms. Here we show that placing a narrow GaAs quantum well in the AlAs shell effectively getters residual carbon acceptors leading to an \emph{unintentional} p-type doping. Magneto-optical studies of such a GaAs/AlAs core multi-shell NW reveal quantum confined emission. Theoretical calculations of NW electronic structure confirm quantum confinement of carriers at the core/shell interface due to the presence of ion…
We investigate the effect of exchange and correlation (xc) in low-density electron bilayers. Along with the direct Coulomb interaction, the effective electron-electron interaction mediated by the exchange of virtual polar optical (PO) phonons is considered. We find that the introduction of xc corrections results in a significant enhancement of the transresistivity and qualitative changes in its temperature dependence. The virtual PO-phonon contribution behaves similarly to the Coulomb drag and reduces noticeably the total drag thereby resulting in a better agreement with the recent experimenta…
We present numerical simulations of the acoustic-phonon-limited mobility, $μ_{ac}$, and phonon-drag thermopower, $S^{g}$, in two-dimensional electron gases confined in MgZnO/ZnO heterostructures. The calculations are based on the Boltzmann equation and are made for temperatures in the range 0.3-20 K and sheet densities $0.5$-$30\times 10^{15}$ m$^{-2}$. The theoretical estimations of $μ_{ac}$ are in good agreement with the experiment without any adjustable parameters. We find that the magnitude of $μ_{ac}$ is dramatically decreased in relation to GaAs based heterostructures. The phonon-drag th…
For a system of two spatially separated monoatomic graphene layers encapsulated in hexagonal boron nitride, we consider the drag effect between charge carriers in the Fermi liquid regime. Commonly, the phenomenon is described in terms of an interlayer Coulomb interaction. We show that if an additional electron - electron interaction via exchange of virtual substrate phonons is included in the model, the predicted drag resistivity is modified considerably at temperatures above 150 K. The anisotropic crystal structure of boron nitride, with strong intralayer and comparatively weak interlayer bon…
Experimental and theoretical evidence is presented for new low-magnetic-field ($B<5$ kG) 1/B-oscillations in the thermoelectric power of a high-mobility GaAs/AlGaAs two-dimensional (2D) electron gas. The oscillations result from inter-Landau-Level resonances of acoustic phonons carrying a momentum equal to twice the Fermi wavenumber at $B = 0$. Numerical calculations show that both 3D and 2D phonons can contribute to this effect.
Previous experimental work on a two-dimensional (2D) electron gas in a Si-on-sapphire device led to the conclusion that both conductivity and phonon drag thermopower $S^g$ are affected to the same relative extent by weak localization. The present paper presents further experimental and theoretical results on these transport coefficients for two very low mobility 2D electron gases in $δ-$doped GaAs/Ga$_x$Al$_{1-x}$As quantum wells. The experiments were carried out in the temperature range 3-7K where phonon drag dominates the thermopower and, contrary to the previous work, the changes observed i…
We have investigated the magnetophonon resonance (MPR) effect in a series of single GaAs quantum well samples which are symmetrically modulation doped in the adjacent short period AlAs/GaAs superlattices. Two distinct MPR series are observed originating from the $Γ$ and X electrons interacting with the GaAs and AlAs longitudinal optic (LO) phonons respectively. This confirms unequivocally the presence of X electrons in the AlAs quantum well of the superlattice previously invoked to explain the high electron mobility in these structures (Friedland et al. Phys. Rev. Lett. 77,4616 (1996).
We examine splitting the heat flow in a low-dimensional junction under influence an external d.c. magnetic field. The junction is a crossing between the narrow single atomic layer stripe (or a nanotube) of a semiconductor C with a metal stripe N (C/N-knot). External source of heat injects the non-equilibrium (NE) phonons, electrons, and holes into C which then propagate in direction the C/N-knot. Most of the heat is carried by NE phonons which drag additional electron and hole excitations along C. In vicinity the C/N-knot, the Lorentz force pulls the charge carriers from C to N thus inducing a…
It is known that electron scattering by surface polar phonons (SPPs) of the substrate reduces their mobility in supported graphene. However, there is no experimental evidence for contribution of drag of electrons by SPP to thermoelectric phenomena in graphene: graphene thermopower exhibits good agreement with Mott's law, which means that the diffusion contribution to the thermopower is dominant in a wide range of carrier densities and temperatures. Here we develop a complete theory of drag of electrons in graphene by SPP. By solving Boltzmann transport equation for electrons scattered by SPPs …
The acoustic phonon-mediated drag-contribution to the drag current created in the ballistic transport regime in a one-dimensional nanowire by phonons generated by a current-carrying ballistic channel in a nearby nanowire is calculated. The threshold of the phonon-mediated drag current with respect to bias or gate voltage is predicted.
A theory of low-temperature phonon-drag magnetothermopower $S_{xx}^g$ is presented in graphene in a quantizing magnetic field. $S_{xx}^g$ is found to exhibit quantum oscillations as a function of magnetic field $B$ and electron concentration $n_e$. Amplitude of the oscillations is found to increase (decrease) with increasing $B$ ($n_e$). The behavior of $S_{xx}^g$ is also investigated as a function of temperature. A large value of $S_{xx}^g $($\sim$ few hundreds of $μ$V/K) is predicted. Numerical values of $S_{xx}^g $ are compared with the measured magnetothermopower $S_{xx}$ and the diffusion…
We perform the investigations of the resonant tunneling via impurities embedded in the AlAs barrier of a single GaAs/AlGaAs heterostructure. In the $I(V)$ characteristics measured at 30mK, the contribution of individual donors is resolved and the fingerprints of phonon assistance in the tunneling process are seen. The latter is confirmed by detailed analysis of the tunneling rates and the modeling of the resonant tunneling contribution to the current. Moreover, fluctuations of the local structure of the DOS (LDOS) and Fermi edge singularities are observed.
We study the frictional drag due to Coulomb and phonon mediated electron-electron interaction in a double layer electron system exposed to a perpendicular magnetic field. Within the random phase approximation we calculate the dispersion relation of the intra Landau level magnetoplasmons at finite temperatures and distinguish their contribution to the magnetodrag. We calculate the transresistivity $ρ_{Drag}$ as a function of magnetic field $B$, temperature $T$, and interlayer spacing $Λ$ for a matched electron density. For $Λ=200$ nm we find that $ρ_{Drag}$ is solely due to phonon exchange and …
The frictional drag force between separated but coupled two-dimensional electron gases of different temperatures is studied using the non-equilibrium Green function method based on the separation of center-of-mass and relative dynamics of electrons. As the mechanisms of producing the frictional force we include the direct Coulomb interaction, the interaction mediated via virtual and real TA and LA phonons, optic phonons, plasmons, and TA and LA phonon-electron collective modes. We found that, when the distance between the two electron gases is large, and at intermediate temperature where plasm…
The phonon-drag thermopower is studied in monolayer graphene on a piezoelectric substrate. The phonon-drag contribution S^g_PA from the extrinsic potential of piezoelectric surface acoustic (PA) phonons of a piezoelectric substrate (GaAs) is calculated as a function of temperature T and electron concentration n_s. At very low temperature, S^g_PA is found to be much greater than S^g_DA of the intrinsic deformation potential of acoustic (DA) phonons of the graphene. There is a crossover of S^g_PA and S^g_DA at around ~5 K. In graphene samples of about >10 um size, we predict S_g ~20 uV at 10 K, …
A theoretical model for the calculation of the phonon-drag thermopower, $S^{g}$, in degenerately doped semiconducting single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) is proposed. Detailed calculations of $S^{g}$ are performed as a function of temperature, tube radius and position of the Fermi level. We derive a simple analytical expression for $S^{g}$ that can be utilized to determine the free carrier density in doped nanotubes. At low temperatures $S^{g}$ shows an activated behavior characteristic of the one-dimensional (1D) character of carriers. Screening effects are taken into account and it is foun…
We report on the first measurements of the drag effect between coupled 2D-hole gases. We investigate the coupling by changing the carrier densities in the quantum wells, the widths of the barriers between the gases and the perpendicular magnetic field. From the data we are able to attribute the frictional drag to phonon coupling, because the non-parabolicity allows to tune the Fermi wavevector and the Fermi velocity separately and, thereby, to distinguish between phonon- and plasmon-dominated coupling.
We study the temperature dependence of thermoelectric transport properties of four FeSb2 nanocomposite samples with different grain sizes. The comparison of the single crystals and nanocomposites of varying grain size indicates the presence of substantial phonon drag effects in this system contributing to a large Seebeck coefficient at low temperature. As the grain size decreases, the increased phonon scattering at the grain boundaries leads to a suppression of the phonon-drag effect, resulting in a much smaller peak value of the Seebeck coefficient in the nanostructured bulk materials. As a c…
The thermoelectric power of the two-dimensional electron system (2DES) at the LaAlO3/SrTiO3 interface is explored below room temperature, in comparison with that of Nb-doped SrTiO3 single crystals. For the interface we find a region below T =50 K where thermopower is dominated by phonon-drag, whose amplitude is hugely amplified with respect to the corresponding bulk value, reaching values ~mV/K and above. The phonon-drag enhancement at the interface is traced back to the tight carrier confinement of the 2DES, and represents a sharp signature of strong electron-acoustic phonon coupling at the i…
We have investigated how the Andreev-reflection hole current at ballistic point contacts responds to a large bias voltage. Its strong suppression could be explained by the drag excerted by the non-equilibrium phonon wind generated by high-energy electrons flowing through the contact. The hole - phonon interaction leads to scattering lengths of the low-energetic holes down to 100\,nm, thereby destroying the coherent retracing of the electron path by the Andreev-reflected holes.
We study theoretically the non-equilibrium exciton transport in monolayer transition metal dichalcogenides. We consider the situation where excitons interact with non-equilibrium phonons, e.g., under the conditions of localized excitation where a ``hot spot'' in formed. We develop the theory of the exciton drag by the phonons and analyze in detail the regimes of diffusive propagation of phonons and ballistic propagation of phonons where the phonon wind is formed. We demonstrate that a halo-like spatial distribution of excitons akin observed in [Phys. Rev. Lett. 120, 207401 (2018)] can be forme…
We investigate both theoretically and experimentally a gigantic enhancement of the spin Seebeck effect in a prototypical magnet LaY$_2$Fe$_5$O$_{12}$ at low temperatures. Our theoretical analysis sheds light on the important role of phonons; the spin Seebeck effect is enormously enhanced by nonequilibrium phonons that drag the low-lying spin excitations. We further argue that this scenario gives a clue to understand the observation of the spin Seebeck effect that is unaccompanied by a global spin current, and predict that the substrate condition affects the observed signal.
Valley Hall effect is an appearance of the valley current in the direction transverse to the electric current. We develop the microscopic theory of the valley Hall effect in two-dimensional semiconductors where the electrons are dragged by the phonons or photons. We derive and analyze all relevant contributions to the valley current including the skew-scattering effects together with the anomalous contributions caused by the side-jumps and the anomalous velocity. The partial compensation of the anomalous contributions is studied in detail. The role of two-phonon and two-impurity scattering pro…
Intra and intersubband scattering rates and electron capture rates are considered when mediated by hybrid optical phonons in an AlAs/GaAs/AlAs double heterostructure confined between two outer metallic barriers. In evaluating scattering rates we concentrate first on an infinite quantum well for the electrons and show that the presence of the outer metal barriers results in reductions of the intra and intersubband scattering rates due to the suppression of the interface-like modes. For a quantum well (QW) with a finite depth we find that the outer barriers are responsible for the existence of a…
The adiabatic cristal model is offered. It is shown that springy nuclei oscillations relatively electronic envelops and waves of such oscillations (inherent oscillations and waves) may exist in crystals. The analysis of experimental temperature dependencies of resistivity in semiconductors with electron-vibrational centres has shown that inherent oscillations effectively interact with crystalline phonons as well as with electrons and holes, creating powerful interaction of electrons and holes with phonons. The experimental narrow peaks of phonon-drag thermoelectric power at Debye temperatures …
The response of composite Fermions to large wavevector scattering has been studied through phonon drag measurements. While the response retains qualitative features of the electron system at zero magnetic field, notable discrepancies develop as the system is varied from a half-filled Landau level by changing density or field. These deviations, which appear to be inconsistent with the current picture of composite Fermions, are absent if half-filling is maintained while changing density. There remains, however, a clear deviation from the temperature dependence anticipated for 2k_F scattering.

Considering screeening of electron scattering interactions in terms of the finite-temperature STLS theory and solving the linearized Boltzmann equation (with no appeal to a relaxation time approximation), we present a theoretical analysis of the low-temperature Seebeck effect in two-dimensional semiconductors with dilute electron densities. We find that the temperature ($T$) dependencies of the diffusion and phonon-drag thermoelectric powers ($S_d$ and $S_g$) can no longer be described by the conventional simple power-laws. As temperature increases, $|S_d|/T$ decreases when $T\gtrsim 0.1 ε_F$ …
The coherent folded longitudinal acoustic phonons (FLAPs) in gold nanoparticles (NPs) imbedded InGaN/GaN sample have been studied using degenerate pump-probe technique. When the FLAPs are generated within the multiple quantum wells, the zone-center FLAPs extending from multiple quantum wells is detected in the GaN and sapphire substrate. Up to five phonon modes are clearly observed and they are well explained by the back and forth propagation of the signal phonon wave packet in the InGaN/GaN quantum wells. The results are consistent with similar measurements to GaAs/AlAs superlattices.
Interaction between electron and acoustic phonon in an in-plane magnetic field induced gapped quantum wire with Rashba spin-orbit interaction is studied. We calculate acoustic phonon limited resistivity ($ρ$) and phonon-drag thermopower ($S_g$) due to two well known mechanisms of electron-phonon interaction namely, deformation potential (DP) and piezoelectric (PE) scattering. In the so called Bloch-Gruneisen temperature limit both $ρ$ and $S_g$ depend on temperature ($T$) in a power law fashion i.e. $ρ$ or $S_g\sim T^{ν_T}$. For resistivity, $ν_T$ takes the value $5$ and $3$ due to DP and PE s…
We have studied magnetodrag between spatially separated two dimensional electron systems due to the virtual phonon exchange with and without taking into account the screening effects. The drag rate as a function of magnetic field, temperature, and interlayer spacing is calculated.
We report on confined exciton resonances of acoustic and folded acoustic phonon light scattering in a GaAs/AlAs multi-quantum-well. Significant variations of the line shifts and widths are observed across the resonance and quantitatively reproduced in terms of the polariton dispersion. This high resolution Brillouin study brings new unexpectedly detailed informations on the polariton dynamics in confined systems.
We show that mismatch of the piezoelectric parameters between layers of multiple-quantum well structures leads to modification of the electron-phonon interaction. In particular, short-wavelength phonons propagating perpendicular to the layers with wavevector close to $2πn/d$, where $d$ is the period of the structure, induce a strong smoothly-varying component of the piezo-potential. As a result, they interact efficiently with 2D electrons. It is shown, that this property leads to emission of collimated quasi-monochromatic beams of high-frequency acoustic phonons from hot electrons in multiple-…
We present thermopower measurements on a high electron mobility two-dimensional electron gas (2DEG) in a thin suspended membrane. We show that the small dimension of the membrane substantially reduces the thermal conductivity compared to bulk material so that it is possible to establish a strong thermal gradient along the 2DEG even at a distance of few micrometers. We find that the zero-field thermopower is significantly affected by the micro patterning. In contrast to 2DEGs incorporated in a bulk material, the diffusion contribution to the thermopower stays dominant up to a temperature of 7 K …
Using sub-picosecond optical pump-probe techniques, coherent zone-folded longitudinal acoustic phonons (ZFLAPs) were generated and controlled in an InGaN multiple quantum well structure. A one-pump, one-probe differential transmission technique revealed that carriers injected near the barrier band edge were quickly captured into the quantum wells and generated strong coherent ZFLAP oscillations. Two-pump differential transmission was used to generate and control coherent ZFLAP oscillations through the relative timing and amplitude of the two pump pulses. Enhancement and suppression of ZFLAP os…
We study the principal aspects of the interaction between acoustic phonons and two-dimensional electrons in quantizing magnetic fields corresponding to even denominator fractions. Using the composite fermion approach we derive the vertex of the electron-phonon coupling mediated by the Chern-Simons gauge field. We estimate acoustic phonon contribution to electronic mobility, phonon-drag thermopower, and hot electron energy loss rate, which all, depending on the temperature regime, are either proportional to lower powers of T than their zero field counterparts, or enhanced by the same numerical …
The response of two-dimensional electron gas to temperature gradient in perpendicular magnetic field under steady-state microwave irradiation is studied theoretically. The electric currents induced by temperature gradient and the thermopower coefficients are calculated taking into account both diffusive and phonon-drag mechanisms. The modification of thermopower by microwaves takes place because of Landau quantization of electron energy spectrum and is governed by the microscopic mechanisms which are similar to those responsible for microwave-induced oscillations of electrical resistivity. The…
Debye temperature decrease, residual resistivity increase and electron-phonon coupling constant increase as crystallite size decreases have been found from electrical resistivity in temperature range 5 K to 300 K of well-characterized Ag nanoparticles synthesized with oleylamine, trioctylphosphine and/ polyvinylpyrrolidone with Scherrer sizes ranging from 15.1 nm to 33.4 nm. Notably, about 36 % reduction in Debye temperature in 15.1 nm compared to bulk Ag is found. Remarkably, usual phonon drag peak found in Seebeck coefficient for bulk Ag turned into dips or phonon drag minima in these NPs th…
