The equations of the conformal field theory of gravitation with the Dirac's scalar field in Weyl-Cartan spacetime have been received. Exact solutions for Dirac's scalar field for an early Universe have been derived. Intensive decrease of physical vacuum energy (dark energy) is obtained with the Dirac's scalar field as the effective cosmological "constant".
The solution of the field equations of the conformal theory of gravitation with Dirac scalar field in Cartan-Weyl spacetime at the very early Universe is obtained. In this theory dark energy (describing by an effective cosmological constant) is a function of the Dirac scalar field $β$. This solution describes the exponential decreasing of $β$ at the inflation stage and has a limit to a constant value of the dark energy at large time. This can give a way to solving the fundamental cosmological constant problem as a consequence of the fields dynamics in the early Universe.
Quantum Thermal Effect of Dirac Particles in a Non-uniformly Rectilinearly Accelerating Black Hole with Electronic Charge, Magnetic Charge and Cosmological Constant
Equations of the conformal theory of gravity with a Dirac scalar field in a Weyl-Cartan space-time have been derived. An exact solution of the equation for a scalar field, which has kind of a decreasing exponential function, has been found. This allows to explain a significant decrease (during of the period of inflation) the energy of physical vacuum (dark energy), which has been identified with the energy of the Dirac scalar field.
We address the implementation of the cosmological principle, that is, the assumption of homogeneity and isotropy in the spatial distribution of matter in the Universe, within the context of Einstein-Cartan theory including minimal couplings of both Dirac and Maxwell fields to torsion. This theory gives rise to new physical effects in environments of high spin densities while leaving the vacuum dynamics unaffected. Our approach is to impose the cosmological principle from the onset to the geometrical degrees of freedom (metric and torsion functions), which constrains the torsion components and …
We apply the Dirac procedure for constrained systems to the Arnowitt-Deser-Misner formalism linearized around the Bianchi I universe. We discuss and employ basic concepts such as Dirac observables, Dirac brackets, gauge-fixing conditions, reduced phase space, physical Hamiltonian, canonical isomorphism between different gauge-fixing surfaces and spacetime reconstruction. We relate this approach to the gauge-fixing procedure for non-perturbative canonical relativity. We discuss the issue of propagating a basis for the scalar-vector-tensor decomposition as, in an anisotropic universe, the wavefr…
We consider a Dirac field coupled minimally to the Mielke-Baekler model of gravity and investigate cosmological solutions in three dimensions. We arrive at a family of solutions which exists even in the limit of vanishing cosmological constant.
In the framework of the generalized Rastall theory (GRT), we study the ability of a non-minimal coupling between geometry and matter fields in order to provide a setting which allows for a variable G during the cosmic evolution. In this regard, the compatibility of this theory with Dirac hypothesis on the variations of G is investigated, and additionally, the possibility of obtaining the current accelerated universe is also addressed. In summary, our study indicates that, in GRT, having in hand the G profile, one may find the corresponding non-minimal coupling between the energy source and geo…
The Poincare and Poincare-Weyl gauge theories of gravitation with Lagrangians quadratic on curvature and torsion in post-Riemannian spaces with the Dirac scalar field is discussed in a historical aspect. The various hypothesizes concerning the models of a dark matter with the help of a scalar field are considered. The new conformal Weyl-Dirac theory of gravitation is proposed, which is a gravitational theory in Cartan-Weyl space-time with the Dirac scalar field representing the dark matter model. A static spherically symmetric solution of the field equations in vacuum for a central compact mas…
In the framework of Weyl-Dirac's theory a perturbed universe is considered. It contains luminous matter, dark matter consisting of weylons as well dark energy (DE) presented by Dirac's gauge function,β. A massive body creates a spherically symmetric gravitational field, that is regarded as the perturbation of the homogeneous and isotropic universe [20]. Around the perturbing mass the dark energy forms up a ball-like concentration that reaches the horizon. The energy-mass density of this DE ball, the pressure and mass are searched. It turns out that they all are negative. As negative pressure i…
In this paper, we consider $2+1$ dimensional gravitational theory including a Dirac field that is minimally coupled to New Massive Gravity. We investigate cosmological solutions of the field equations by using the self-interaction potential form obtained by the existence of Noether symmetry. In this context, we obtain cosmological solutions that corresponds to inflationary as well as the oscillationary epochs of the universe. Moreover, we have seen that the Dirac field behaves like a dark energy in these epochs of the universe.
We investigate the cosmological dynamics of interacting Logarithmic Entropy Corrected Holographic Dark Energy model with Cold Dark Matter. Fixed points are determined and their corresponding cosmological models are presented. Moreover, the dynamical properties of these fixed points are derived.
In the framework of the induced matter theory of gravity, we derive a 5D solution of the field equations that can describe a 4D cosmological scenario where the dark fluid (dark matter plus dark energy) equation of state has a geometrical origin. There is no a natural separation of the dark sector into different components, and then the model may provide a geometrical explanation for the existence of a dark degeneracy in cosmological scenarios.
A Friedmann--Robertson--Walker Universe is studied with a dark energy component represented by a quintessence field. The Lagrangian for this system, hereafter called the Friedmann--Robertson--Walker--quintessence (FRWq) system, is presented. It is shown that the classical Lagrangian reproduces the usual two (second order) dynamical equations for the radius of the Universe and for the quintessence scalar field as well as a (first order) constraint equation. It is noted that the quintessence field (dark energy) is related with the tlaplon field (appearing on dynamical theories of spacetime torsi…
We have explored cold dark matter and holographic dark energy cosmological models with big rip singularity. To obtain the solution of the field equation, we have supposed that scalar expansion $θ$ is proportional to shear scalar $σ^2 $ which leads to $p_1=(p_2) ^n $, where $A_1 $, $A_2$ are metric potentials and $ n$ is constant. Big bang and Big rip singularity are investigated and analyzed the state-finder parameter. The physical and geometrical parameters of the universe are explained.
It is found by Cai and Su that the interaction between dark energy and cold dark matter is likely to change the sign during the cosmological evolution. Motivated by this, we suggest a new form of interaction between dark energy and dark matter, which changes from negative to positive as the expansion of our universe changes from decelerated to accelerated. We find that the interacting model is consistent with the second law of thermodynamics and the observational constraints. And, we also discuss the unified adiabatic-squared sound speed of the model.
We study the vacuum polarisation effects of the Dirac fermionic field induced by a pointlike global monopole located in the cosmological de Sitter spacetime. First we derive the four orthonormal Dirac modes in this background in a closed form. Quantising the field using these modes, we then compute the fermionic condensate, $\langle 0| \overlineΨ Ψ| 0\rangle$, as well as the vacuum expectation value of the energy-momentum tensor for a massive Dirac field, regularised in a particular way. We have used the Abel-Plana summation formula in order to extract the global monopole contribution to these…
The relational formalism based on geometrical clocks and Dirac observables in linearized canonical cosmological perturbation theory is used to introduce an efficient method to find evolution equations for gauge invariant variables. Our method generalizes an existing technique by Pons, Salisbury and Sundermeyer [1, 2] to relate the evolution of gauge invariant observables with the one of gauge variant quantities, and is applied as a demonstration for the longitudinal and spatially flat gauges. Gauge invariant evolution equations for the Bardeen potential and the Mukhanov-Sasaki variable are der…
We propose a suitable vacuum state for a quantized Dirac field interacting with a classical scalar field in a Friedman-Robertson-Walker-Lemaitre spacetime. This state is constructed from an extended version of the adiabatic expansion of the associated Fourier modes of the field. We compute the full renormalized stress-energy tensor. For any given initial time, this instantaneous vacuum can always be chosen to have vanishing Fourier modes for the renormalized stress-energy tensor. We check the consistency of the solution for several inflationary models.
The solutions of the field equations of the conformal theory of gravitation with Dirac scalar field in Weyl-Cartan spacetime in very early universe are obtained. In this theory dark energy (describing by an effective cosmological constant) is a function of the Dirac scalar field $β$. These solutions describe the exponential decreasing of $β$ at the first exponential stage of inflation. One of these solutions has a limit to a constant value of the dark energy at large time that can give a way to solving the fundamental cosmological constant problem as a consequence of the fields dynamics in the…
Einstein-Cartan theory is an extension of the standard formulation of General Relativity characterized by a non-vanishing torsion. The latter is sourced by the matter fields via the spin tensor, and its effects are expected to be important at very high spin densities. In this work we analyze in detail the physics of Einstein-Cartan theory with Dirac and Maxwell fields minimally coupled to the spacetime torsion. This breaks the $U(1)$ gauge symmetry, which is suggested by the possibility of a torsion-induced phase transition in the early Universe. The resulting Dirac-like and Maxwell-like equat…
We study the dynamics of Dirac-Born-Infeld (DBI) dark energy interacting with dark matter. The DBI dark energy model considered here has a scalar field with a nonstandard kinetic energy term, and has potential and brane tension that are power-law functions. The new feature considered here is an interaction between the DBI dark energy and dark matter through a phenomenological interaction between the DBI scalar field and the dark matter fluid. We analyze two different types of interactions between the DBI scalar field and the dark matter fluid. In particular we study the phase-space diagrams of…
We discuss the field quantisation of a free massive Dirac fermion in the two causally disconnected static patches of the de Sitter spacetime, by using mode functions that are normalisable on the cosmological event horizon. Using this, we compute the entanglement entropy of the vacuum state corresponding to these two regions, for a given fermionic mode. Further extensions of this result to more general static spherically symmetric and stationary axisymmetric spacetimes are discussed. For the stationary axisymmetric Kerr-de Sitter spacetime in particular, the variations of the entanglement entro…
A cosmological approach based on considering a cosmic background with non-zero torsion is shown in order to give an option of explaining a possible phantom evolution, not ruled out according to the current observational data. We revise some aspects of the formal schemes on torsion and, according them, we develop a formalism which can be an interesting alternative for exploring Cosmology.
In the Weyl-Dirac (W-D) framework a spatially closed cosmological model is considered. It is assumed that the space-time of the universe has a chaotic Weylian microstructure but is described on a large scale by Riemannian geometry. Locally fields of the Weyl connection vector act as creators of massive bosons having spin 1. It is suggested that these bosons, called weylons, provide most of the dark matter in the universe. At the beginning the universe is a spherically symmetric geometric entity without matter. Primary matter is created by Dirac's gauge function very close to the beginning. In …
By analysing the cosmological dynamical system with a dark-sector interaction which changes sign during the cosmological evolution, we find a scaling attractor to help to alleviate the cosmic-coincidence problem. This result shows that this interaction can bring new features to the cosmology.
In this paper we consider a spatially flat Friedmann-Robertson-Walker (FRW) cosmological model with cosmological constant, containing a stiff fluid and a classical Dirac field. The proposed cosmological scenario describes the evolution of effective dark matter and dark energy components reproducing, with the help of that effective multifluid configuration, the quintessential behavior. We find the value of the scale factor where the effective dark energy component crosses the phantom divide. The model we introduce, which can be considered as a modified $Λ$CDM one, is characterized by a set of p…
We investigate the interaction between dark energy and dark matter in the framework of irreversible thermodynamics of open systems with matter creation/annihilation. We consider dark energy and dark matter as an interacting two component (scalar field and "ordinary" dark matter) cosmological fluid in a homogeneous spatially flat and isotropic Friedmann-Robertson-Walker (FRW) Universe. The thermodynamics of open systems as applied together with the gravitational field equations to the two component cosmological fluid leads to a generalization of the elementary dark energy-dark mater interaction…
The nature of the scalar field responsible for the cosmological inflation, the \qo{inflaton}, is found to be rooted in the most fundamental concept of the Weyl's differential geometry: the parallel displacement of vectors in curved space-time. The Euler-Lagrange theory based on a scalar-tensor Weyl-Dirac Lagrangian leads straightforwardly to the Einstein equation admitting as a source the characteristic energy-momentum tensor of the inflaton field. Within the dynamics of the inflation, e.g. in the slow roll transition from a \qo{false} toward a \qo{true vacuum}, the inflaton's geometry implies…
We show the way of dark matter and dark energy presentation via ansatzs on the kinetic energies of the fields in the two-component chiral cosmological model. To connect a kinetic interaction of dark matter and dark energy with observational data the reconstruction procedure for the chiral metric component $h_{22}$ and the potential of (self)interaction $V$ has been developed. The reconstruction of $h_{22}$ and $V$ for the early and later inflation have been performed. The proposed model is confronted to $ΛCDM$ model as well.
In this work we extend the first order formalism for cosmological models that present an interaction between a fermionic and a scalar field. Cosmological exact solutions describing universes filled with interacting dark energy and dark matter have been obtained. Viable cosmological solutions with an early period of decelerated expansion followed by late acceleration have been found, notably one which presents a dark matter component dominating in the past and a dark energy component dominating in the future. In another one, the dark energy alone is the responsible for both periods, similar to …
The Dirac-Einstein system of quark-leptons coupled to gravity is constructed generalized in the space-time extended with chiral and dark discrete extra dimensions. The Einstein's gravity, all the Standard Model's gauge vector, and Higgs fields together with a dark photon, whose mass is generated by a dark Higgs scalar, can be incorporated in this framework as components of the generalized vielbein. The Standard Model derived from the extended Einstein-Hilbert action must satisfy some conditions leading to the predictions of Weinberg angle, Higgs and top quark masses in excellent agreement with…
It is well known that gravitons can convert into photons, and vice versa, in the presence of cosmological magnetic fields. We study this conversion process in the context of atomic dark matter scenario. In this scenario, we can expect cosmological dark magnetic fields, which are free from the stringent constraint from the cosmic microwave observations. We find that gravitons can effectively convert into dark photons in the presence of cosmological dark magnetic fields. The graviton-dark photon conversion effect may open up a new window for ultra high frequency gravitational waves.
This brief contribution is devoted to phenomenological consequences of deviations from Lorentz invariance in gravity and dark matter. We will discuss main effects on cosmological observables and current constraints derived from astrophysical and cosmological data.
Dark energy is investigated from the perspective of quantum cosmology. It is found that, together with an appropriate normal ordering factor $q$, only when there is dark energy then can the cosmological wave function be normalized. This interesting observation may require further attention.
The formalism of dark energy based on modeling speed of sound as a function of equation of state parameter is elaborated. A specific model which allows detailed study of cosmological constant boundary crossing is introduced and analytical solutions for the model dynamics are obtained. It is shown how in specific parameter regimes dark energy can be a transient phenomenon. It is further demonstrated how the model reproduces specific features of recent fits of dark energy $w(z)$ to observational data.
We analyze the dynamics of a Dirac-Born-Infeld (DBI) field in a cosmological set-up which includes a perfect fluid. Introducing convenient dynamical variables, we show the evolution equations form an autonomous system when the potential and the brane tension of the DBI field are arbitrary power-law or exponential functions of the DBI field. In particular we find scaling solutions can exist when powers of the field in the potential and warp-factor satisfy specific relations. A new class of fixed-point solutions are obtained corresponding to points which initially appear singular in the evolutio…
Scalar cosmological perturbations are investigated in the framework of a model with interacting dark energy and dark matter. In addition to these constituents, the inhomogeneous Universe is supposed to be filled with the standard noninteracting constituents corresponding to the conventional $Λ$CDM model. The interaction term is chosen in the form of a linear combination of dark sector energy densities with evolving coefficients. The methods of discrete cosmology are applied, and strong theoretical constraints on the parameters of the model are derived. A brief comparison with observational dat…
