It is well known that functions in the analytic Besov space $B_1$ on the unit disk $\D$ admits an integral representation $$f(z)=\ind\frac{z-w}{1-z\bar w}\,dμ(w),$$ where $μ$ is a complex Borel measure with $|μ|(\D)<\infty$. We generalize this result to all Besov spaces $B_p$ with $0<p\le1$ and all Lipschitz spaces $Λ_t$ with $t>1$. We also obtain a version for Bergman and Fock spaces.
For $0<p<\infty$, we give a complete description of nonnegative radial weight functions $ω$ on the open unit disk $\mathbb{D}$ such that $$ \int_{\mathbb{D}} |f'(z)|^p (1-|z|^2)^{p-2}ω(z)dA(z)<\infty $$ if and only if $$ \int_{\mathbb{D}}\int_{\mathbb{D}}\frac{|f(z)-f(ζ)|^p}{|1-\overlineζz|^{4+τ+σ}}(1-|z|^2)^τ(1-|ζ|^2)^σω(ζ)dA(z)A(ζ)<\infty $$ for all analytic functions $f$ in $\mathbb{D}$, where $τ$ and $σ$ are some real numbers. As applications, we give some geometric descriptions of functions in Besove type spaces $B_p(ω)$ with doubling weights, and characterize the boundedness and compactn…
We provide a full characterization in terms of the six parameters involved the boundedness of all standard weighted integral operators induced by harmonic Bergman-Besov kernels acting between different Lebesgue classes with standard weights on the unit ball of R^{n}. These operators in some sense generalize the harmonic Bergman-Besov projections. To obtain the necessity conditions, we use a technique that heavily depends on the precise inclusion relations between harmonic Bergman-Besov and weighted Bloch spaces on the unit ball. This fruitful technique is new. It has been used first with holom…
We consider a class of two-parameter weighted integral operators induced by harmonic Bergman-Besov kernels on the unit ball of $\mathbb{R}^{n}$ and characterize precisely those that are bounded from Lebesgue spaces $L^{p}_α$ into Harmonic Bergman-Besov $b^{q}_β$ or weighted Bloch Spaces $b^{\infty}_β $, for $1\leq p\leq\infty$, $1\leq q< \infty$ and $α,β\in \mathbb{R}$. These operators can be viewed as generalizations of the harmonic Bergman-Besov projections. Also, our results remove the disturbing conditions $β>-1$ when $q<\infty$ and $β\geq 0$ when $q=\infty$ of Doğan (A Class of Integral O…
We establish an equivalency of the Corona problem (1962) and Gleason problem (1964) in the theory of several complex variables. As an application, we give an affirmative solution of the Corona problem for certain bounded pseudoconvex domains or polydomains including balls and polydiscs. Indeed, we extend our recent work on Gleason problem based on the functional analytic approach, as well as extend recent work of Clos. We also use this equivalency or else other (functional analytic) methods to affirmatively solve both problems for various Banach spaces of bounded holomorphic functions (includi…
We consider functions $f(T,R)$ of pairs of noncommuting contractions on Hilbert space and study the problem for which functions $f$ we have Lipschitz type estimates in Schatten--von Neumann norms. We prove that if $f$ belongs to the Besov class $(B_{\infty,1}^1)_+({\Bbb D}^2)$ of analytic functions in the bidisk, then we have a Lipschitz type estimate for functions $f(T,R)$ of pairs of not necessarily commuting contractions $(T,R)$ in the Schatten--von Neumann norms $\boldsymbol{S}_p$ for $p\in[1,2]$. On the other hand, we show that for functions in the Besov space $(B_{\infty,1}^1)_+({\Bbb D}…
Additional integral inequalities are obtained for integrals of the differences of subharmonic functions by Borel measures on balls in a multidimensional Euclidean space. These integrals are still estimated from above through the Nevanlinna characteristic and various characteristics of the Borel measure and its support. All the results are also new for logarithms of modules of meromorphic functions on discs in the complex plane. Integration by Borel measures with a support on fractal sets is allowed, and estimates in these cases are given by the Hausdorff measure and the Hausdorff content for t…
We study harmonic Besov spaces $b^p_α$ on the unit ball of $\mathbb{R}^n$, where $0<p<1$ and $α\in\mathbb{R}$. We provide characterizations in terms of partial and radial derivatives and certain radial differential operators that are more compatible with reproducing kernels of harmonic Bergman-Besov spaces. We show that the dual of harmonic Besov space $b^p_α$ is weighted Bloch space $b_β^{\infty}$ under certain volume integral pairing for $0<p<1$ and $α,β\in\mathbb{R}$. Our other results are about growth at the boundary and atomic decomposition.
The purpose of this paper is to obtain an integral representation for the difference $f(L_1)-f(L_2)$ of functions of maximal dissipative operators. This representation in terms of double operator integrals will allow us to establish Lipschitz type estimates for functions of maximal dissipative operators. We also consider a similar problem for quasicommutators, i.e., operators of the form $f(L_1)R-Rf(L_2)$.
Let $f$ be a function on ${\Bbb R}^2$ in the inhomogeneous Besov space $B_{\infty,1}^1({\Bbb R}^2)$. For a pair $(A,B)$ of not necessarily bounded and not necessarily commuting self-adjoint operators, we define the function $f(A,B)$ of $A$ and $B$ as a densely defined linear operator. We show that if $1\le p\le2$, $(A_1,B_1)$ and $(A_2,B_2)$ are pairs of not necessarily bounded and not necessarily commuting self-adjoint operators such that both $A_1-A_2$ and $B_1-B_2$ belong to the Schatten--von Neumann class $\boldsymbol{S}_p$ and $f$ is in the above inhomogeneous Besov space, then the follow…
