The recent Belle and BaBar measurements of the branching ratio of $B^+ \to τ^+ ν_τ$ indicate a significant deviation from the Standard Model prediction. We demonstrate that this measurement has a serious impact on models with minimal flavor violation involving a charged Higgs boson, ruling out a large portion of the currently-allowed parameter space. In the constrained minimal supersymmetric standard model, this creates a tension between the measurements of $B^+ \to τ^+ ν_τ$ and the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon, unless $\tanβ$ is small, $μ> 0$, and $A_0$ takes a large negative value. In fact, a very small region of the parameter space of this model, with small values of $m_0$ and $m_{1/2}$, survives all the constraints at 95% C.L.. It is remarkable that this specific region is still consistent with the lightest supersymmetric particle as the dark matter. Moreover, it predicts observable SUSY signals in the early runs of the LHC, even perhaps at 7 TeV. We also show that a consistent explanation for the deviation of the $B^+ \to τ^+ ν_τ$ branching ratio from the Standard Model can be achieved in a non-universal Higgs mass model, which could also predict early signals of supersymmetry at the LHC.
Supersymmetry is perhaps most effectively probed at the Tevatron through production and decay of weak gauginos. Most of the analyses of weak gaugino observables require electrons or muons in the final state. However, it is possible that the gauginos will decay primarily to tau leptons, thus complicating the search for supersymmetry. The motivating reasons for high tau multiplicity final states are discussed in three approaches to supersymmetry model building: minimal supergravity, gauge mediated supersymmetry breaking, and more minimal supersymmetry. The concept of ``e/mu/tau candidate'' is in…
We describe supersymmetry breaking by the F-term of a heavy right-handed tau neutrino with a VEV. Due to the the tau neutrino Yukawa coupling, the neutralino, chargino and scalar mass matrices and the weak currents are modified. In addition, there are new cubic and quartic scalar and trilinear R parity violating interactions. For large $\tan β$ these effects may be quite large. The scenario requires low energy supersymmetry breaking with generic values of $F \sim 10^{10}$~GeV.
We consider the phenomenology of GMSB models where the lighter stau is the next to lightest supersymmetric particle. In this situation, the dominant signals for supersymmetry are events with two or three high p_T tau leptons accompanied by large missing transverse energy. We find that the inclusive two tau jets signature could be observable at the Tevatron's Run II, while the inclusive three tau jets signature could be important at Run III.
We study the supersymmetry reach of the Tevatron in channels containing both isolated leptons and identified tau jets. In the most challenging case, where the branching ratios of gauginos to taus dominate, we find that searches for two leptons, a tau jet and a large amount of missing transverse energy have a much better reach than the classic trilepton signature. With total integrated luminosity of ${\rm L} \gsim 4 {\rm fb}^{-1}$, the Tevatron will start extending the expected LEP-II reach for supersymmetry.
We summarized our report on leptonic flavor violating Higgs decay into mu + tau under the scheme of a generic supersymmetric standard model without R parity. With known experimental constraints imposed, important combinations of R-parity violating parameters which can give notable branching ratios are listed.
A supersymmetric model which naturally accommodates MeV tau neutrino within the framework of gauge mediated supersymmetry breaking is described. The lepton number violation is originally introduced in the messenger sector of the theory. A large slepton-Higgs mixing mass and a small lepton-higgsino mixing mass are generated at one-loop. Scalar tau neutrino has non-vanishing vacuum expectation value. These result in a non-zero ν_τ mass which is in the range of (1-10) MeV.
We study the phenomenology of the mu-tau and e-tau lepton flavour violation (LFV) in a general two Higgs Doublet Model (2HDM) including the supersymmetric case. We consider several LFV decay modes of the charged fermion tau, namely tau-> l_jgamma, tau->l_j l_k l_k and tau-> l_jeta. The predictions and the correlations among the rates of the above processes are computed. In particular, it is shown that tau->l_jgamma processes are the most sensitive channels to Higgs-mediated LFV specially if the splitting among the neutral Higgs bosons masses is not below the 10% level.
We compute the SUSY effective hamiltonian that describes the |ΔS|=1 semileptonic decays of tau leptons. We provide analytical expressions for supersymmetric contribution to tau --> u bar{s} nu_{tau} transition in mass insertion approximation. We show that SUSY contributions may enhance the CP asymmetry of tau --> K pi nu_{tau} decays by several orders of magnitude than the standard model expectations. However, the resulting asymmetry is still well below the current experimental limits obtained by CLEO collaborations. We emphasize that measuring CP rate asymmetry in this decay larger than 10^{-…
In this letter, we report on lepton flavor violating Higgs decay into mu+tau in the framework of the generic supersymmetric standard model without R parity and list interesting combinations of R-parity violating parameters. We impose other known experimental constraints on the parameters of the model and show our results from the R-parity violating parameters. In our analysis, the branching ratio of Higgs to mu+tau can exceed 10^{-5} within admissible parameter space.
We put constraints on several products of R-parity violating lambda lambda' and lambda' lambda' type couplings from leptonic and semileptonic tau, B_d and B_s decays. Most of them are one to two orders of magnitude better than the existing bounds, and almost free from theoretical uncertainties. A significant improvement of these bounds can be made in high luminosity tau-charm or B factories.
We consider the phenomenology of GMSB models where the lighter stau is the next to lightest supersymmetric particle. In this situation the dominant signals for supersymmetry at the Tevatron are events where two or three high p_T tau leptons accompanied by large missing transverse energy are produced. This leads to signatures that are very different from the photonic signals for GMSB (where the lightest neutralino is the NLSP) and the dilepton and trilepton signals in the usual supergravity models (involving e and/or mu only) that have been investigated extensively. We find that the inclusive 2…
In the most general R-parity violating model, including both bilinear and trilinear terms, the sneutrino receives a vacuum expectation value. We investigate the constraints on this vev following a basis independent approach, highlighting the relations between the three most popular basis. We study the prediction for the tau neutrino mass which follows from the minimization of the scalar potential in a SUGRA model with universality of the soft parameters at the GUT scale. Finally we show that the tau neutrino mass controls the R-parity violating effects both in the fermionic and scalar sectors.
This talk discusses the prospects for supersymmetry studies at the LHC and NLC. The results are based on those of the Supersymmetry Working Group at the 1996 Snowmass Workshop.
In theories with gauge mediated supersymmetry breaking, the scalar tau, (${\tilde τ_1}$) is the lightest observable superpartner for part of the parameter space. At LEP 2, the production of such a $\tilde τ_1$ pair and their subsequent decays give rise to a pair of $τ$ leptons plus missing energy from the unobserved gravitinos. The angular distributions of the $τ$'s are different from those arising from the production and decay of W pairs, and thus will constitute an interesting signal for supersymmetry. We also consider ${\tilde τ_1}$ pair production in the complementary part of parameter spa…
We study the sensitivity of the LHC, with 20 inverse-fb of data, to lepton flavour violating Higgs boson decays h -> tau+ mu- (and h -> tau+ e-). We consider the large population of Higgses produced in gluon fusion, combined with leptonic decays of the tau, and estimate that the LHC could set a 95 % confidence level bound BR(h -> tau mu) < 4.5 \times 10^{-3}. This correponds to a coupling of order the Cheng-Sher ansatz y_{tau mu} = sqrt{m_tau m_mu/v^2}.
The ATLAS collaboration published supersymmetry limits based on up to about 4.7 \ifb data collected over the year 2011 from LHC runs at 7 TeV. These were mainly interpreted within restricted, particular or simplified models for supersymmetry breaking schemes or scenarios. The pMSSM is an alternative and more generic supersymmetry framework which captures broader phenomenological features. Searching for more generic conclusions from the supersymmetry limits interpretation, we update a Bayesian global fit of the pMSSM to pre-LHC data using the LHC-7 limits. The posterior distributions show the m…
We show that the search for supersymmetry at LHC will be very problematic for the particular case of nonuniversal relations among gaugino masses. Namely, if gluino, first chargino and LSP masses are closed to each other it would be very difficult to discover supersymmetry even if sparticle masses are lighter than 1 TeV.
We constrain, from rare tau decays, several combinations of $λ$ and $λ'$ type couplings coming from Supersymmetry without R-parity. The processes that we consider are tau --> l M, tau --> l_i l_j l_k, and tau --> l gamma, where l stands for either e or mu, and M is the generic symbol for a meson. We update several existing bounds, and provide a few new ones too.
We update our analysis of the Higgs sector masses in Minimal Supersymmetry and in the Two-Higgs Doublet Model to the final ATLAS and CMS data from the 2011-2012 LHC run.
Motivated by the Galactic Center gamma-ray excess in the Fermi-LAT data, we study the signatures of a class of tau portal dark matter (DM) models where DM particles preferentially couple to tau leptons at the LHC. We consider the constraints from the DM direct detection and investigate the sensitivity of the LHC to di-tau plus missing energy signatures. We find that the LHC with a high luminosity of 3000 fb$^{-1}$ can test the tau portal DM models with fermionic mediators in the mass range of $120\sim450$ GeV.
Supersymmetry is one of the best-motivated candidates for physics beyond the Standard Model that might be discovered at the LHC. There are many reasons to expect that it may appear at the TeV scale, in particular because it provides a natural cold dark matter candidate. The apparent discrepancy between the experimental measurement of g_mu - 2 and the Standard model value calculated using low-energy e+ e- data favours relatively light sparticles accessible to the LHC. A global likelihood analysis including this, other electroweak precision observables and B-decay observables suggests that the L…
In this paper we examine thoroughly the Higgs boson to mu tau decay via processes involving R parity violating couplings. By means of full one-loop diagrammatic calculations, we found that even if known experimental constraints, particularly including the stringent sub-eV neutrino mass bounds, give strong restrictions on some of the R parity violating parameters, the branching ratio could still achieve notable value in the admissible parameter space. Hence, the flavor violating leptonic decay is of interest to future experiments. We present here key results of our analysis. Based on the analys…
The production of a neutral, CP even Higgs via weak boson fusion and decay H -> tau tau at the LHC is studied for the Standard Model and MSSM, utilizing a parton level Monte Carlo analysis. This channel allows a 5 sigma observation of a Standard Model Higgs with an integrated luminosity of about 30 fb^-1, and provides a direct measurement of the H-tau-tau coupling. For the MSSM case, a highly significant signal for at least one of the Higgs bosons with reasonable luminosity is possible over the entire physical parameter space which will be left unexplored by LEP2.
The tau lepton plays important role in distinguishing neutrino mass patterns and determining the chirality nature in heavy scalar mediated neutrino mass models, in the light of the neutrino oscillation experiments and its polarization measurement. We investigate the lepton flavor signatures with tau lepton at LHC upgrades, i.e. HL-LHC, HE-LHC and FCC-hh, through leptonic processes from doubly charged Higgs in the Type II Seesaw. We find that for the channel with one tau lepton in final states, the accessible doubly charged Higgs mass at HL-LHC can reach 655 GeV and 695 GeV for the neutrino mas…
The motivation for introduction of supersymmetry in high energy physics as well as a possibility for supersymmetry discovery at LHC (Large Hadronic Collider) are discussed. The main notions of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) are introduced. Different regions of parameter space are analyzed and their phenomenological properties are compared. Discovery potential of LHC for the planned luminosity is shown for different channels. The properties of SUSY Higgs bosons are studied and perspectives of their observation at LHC are briefly outlined.
We show how the sum of the two average tau polarisations in the decay chain chi20 -> stau1 tau -> tau tau chi10 in minimal supersymmetry with conserved R-parity can be measured at the LHC. This is accomplished by exploiting the polarisation dependence of the visible di-tau mass spectrum. Such a measurement provides information on the couplings of the involved SUSY particles and allows a more precise determination of the di-tau mass endpoint. If different tau decay modes can be distinguished, the polarisation and endpoint measurement can be improved even further.
The possibility of detecting a Higgs boson through several production and decay channels is instrumental to the measurement of its couplings. In this paper we study the pp-> ttH(H-> tau tau) channel at the LHC, for the case of a scalar Higgs boson, and use the obtained results to improve on existing strategies toward a model independent determination of the Higgs boson couplings. The case of a scalar Higgs boson with mass below 140 GeV looks particularly promising.
Leptogenic Supersymmetry is a scenario characterized by copious lepton production in cascade decays. Due to the high lepton multiplicity and the lack of significant missing energy, leptogenic supersymmetry provides very clean channels which can be probed already with the early LHC data. Furthermore, the Higgs may be discovered in the h->b bbar mode because the leptons accompanying Higgs production efficiently suppress the background.
We determine the Tevatron's reach in supersymmetric parameter space in trilepton, like-sign dilepton, and two lepton one tau-jet channels. We critically study the standard model background processes. We find larger backgrounds and, hence, significantly smaller reach regions than recent analyses. We identify the major cause of the background discrepancy. We improve signal-to-noise by introducing an invariant mass cut which takes advantage of a sharp edge in the signal dilepton invariant mass distribution. Also, we independently vary the cuts at each point in SUSY parameter space to determine th…
Prospects for SUSY discoveries and measurements at future colliders LHC and ILC are discussed. The problem of reconstructing the underlying theory and SUSY breaking mechanism is also addressed.
The prospects for the discovery and exploration of low-energy Supersymmetry at future colliders, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and the future international linear electron positron collider (ILC) are summarized. The focus is on the experimental techniques that will be used to discover superpartners and to measure their properties. Special attention is given to the question how the results from both machines could influence each other, in particular when they have overlapping running time.
We study the implications of the searches based on H -> tau^+ tau^- by the ATLAS and CMS collaborations on the parameter space of the two Higgs doublet model (2HDM). In the 2HDM, the scalars can decay into a tau pair with a branching ratio larger than the SM one, leading to constraints on the 2HDM parameter space. We have also discussed the implications for the 2HDM of the recent di-muon search by the ATLAS collaboration for a CP-odd scalar in the mass range 4-12 GeV.
We address the complementarity of the CERN Large Hadron Collider and an $e^+ e^-$ Linear Collider in determining SUSY model parameters for a particular SO(10) SUSY GUT case study.
In the minimal SUGRA model the lighter tau slepton is expected to be the second lightest superparticle over a large parameter range at large $\tanβ$. Consequently one expects a viable SUGRA signal at LHC in the tau lepton channel coming from the decay of these tau sleptons. The model predicts the polarization of this tau lepton to be +1 to a very good accuracy. We show how this prediction can be tested by looking at the momentum fraction of the tau-jet, carried by the charged prong, in its 1-prong hadronic decay channel.
The hadronic tau decay channel offers by far the best signature for heavy charged Higgs boson search at the LHC in the large $\tanβ$ region. By exploiting the distinct polarization of the tau and its large transverse mass, along with the accompanying missing--$p_T$, one can probe for a charged Higgs boson up to a mass of about 600 GeV in an essentially background-free environment. The transverse mass distribution of the tau jet also provides a fairly unambiguous estimate of the charged Higgs boson mass.
If supersymmetry is broken at TeV scale, particles from sector responsible for supersymmetry breaking - goldstino and sgoldstinos - can reveal themselves already at the LHC experiments. We discuss bounds on supersymmetry breaking scale from the LHC searches for events with a jet plus missing momentum signature focusing on the case of TeV scale sgoldstinos. We show that contribution of light sgoldstinos to the cross section of of gravitino pair production with a jet can be sizable and the bounds on the gravitino mass can be stronger by up to a factor of 2 as compared to those obtained in the he…
If neutral Higgs bosons will be discovered at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) then an important subsequent issue will be the investigation of their CP nature. Higgs boson decays into tau lepton pairs are particularly suited in this respect. Analyzing the three charged pion decay modes of the tau leptons and taking expected measurement uncertainties at the LHC into account, we show that the CP properties of a Higgs boson can be pinned down with appropriately chosen observables, provided that sufficiently large event numbers will eventually be available.
An understanding of the lepton masses within the framework of SUSY is presented. A family symmetry is introduced. Sneutrino VEV breaks this symmetry. The tau mass is due to the Higgs VEV, and muon mass purely from the sneutrino VEV. A viable model is constructed, which predicts (1-10) MeV tau-neutrino.
The chiral structure of supersymmetric particle couplings involving third generation Standard Model fermions depends on left-right squark and slepton mixings as well as gaugino-higgsino mixings. The shapes and intercorrelations of invariant mass distributions of a first or second generation lepton with bottoms and taus arising from adjacent branches of SUSY cascade decays are shown to be a sensitive probe of this chiral structure. All possible cascade decays that can give rise to such correlations within the MSSM are considered. For bottom-lepton correlations the distinctive structure of the i…
We investigate the prospects for the discovery at the CERN Large Hadron Collider or at the Fermilab Tevatron of neutral Higgs bosons through the channel where the Higgs are produced together with a single bottom quark and the Higgs decays into a pair of tau leptons, $bg \to bϕ^0 \to bτ^+τ^-, ϕ^0 = h^0, H^0, A^0$. We work within the framework of the minimal supersymmetric model. The dominant physics background from the production of $bτ^+τ^-$, $jτ^+τ^-$ ($j = g, u, d, s, c$), $b\bar{b}W^+W^-$, $W+2j$ and $Wbj$ is calculated with realistic acceptance cuts and efficiencies. Promising results are …
Supersymmetry, a new symmetry that relates bosons and fermions in particle physics, still escapes observation. Search for SUSY is one of the main aims of the recently launched Large Hadron Collider. The other possible manifestation of SUSY is the Dark Matter in the Universe. The present lectures contain a brief introduction to supersymmetry in particle physics. The main notions of supersymmetry are introduced. The supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model - the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model - is considered in more detail. Phenomenological features of the MSSM as well as possible e…
Weak boson fusion promises to be a copious source of intermediate mass Higgs bosons at the LHC. The additional very energetic forward jets in these events provide for powerful background suppression tools. We analyze the subsequent H -> tau tau -> e mu pTmiss decay for Higgs boson masses in the 100-150 GeV range. A parton level analysis of the dominant backgrounds demonstrates that this channel allows the observation of H -> tau tau in a low-background environment, yielding a significant Higgs boson signal with an integrated luminosity of order 60 fb^-1 or less, over most of the mass range. We…
At the LHC, superpartners with the masses lighter than a few TeV may be found, and the masses of the supersymmetric (SUSY) particles and their interactions will be studied. The information would be the base to consider the SUSY breaking mechanism and cosmology related to the SUSY dark matter. We review the recent studies that aims for the ``precise SUSY study'' at the LHC.
We investigate the implications for supersymmetry from an assumed absence of any signal in the first period of LHC data taking at 7 TeV center-of-mass energy and with 1 to 7 fb^(-1) of integrated luminosity. We consider the zero-lepton plus four jets and missing transverse energy signature, and perform a combined fit of low-energy measurements, the dark matter relic density constraint and potential LHC exclusions within a minimal supergravity model. A non-observation of supersymmetry in the first period of LHC data taking would still allow for an acceptable description of low-energy data and t…
We show that the branching ratio R_{b/tau}=BR(h^0->bb)/BR(h^0->tau tau) of the Higgs boson h^0 may usefully differentiate between the Higgs sectors of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) and non-supersymmetric models such as the Standard Model or its two Higgs doublet extensions. Although at tree level R_{b/tau} is the same in all these models, only in the MSSM can it receive a large radiative correction, for moderate to large values of the parameter tan(beta). Such large corrections are motivated in supersymmetric unified schemes wherein the Yukawa couplings of the b-quark and th…
These lectures, given at the 1997 TASI Summer School, describe the prospects for discovering supersymmetry (SUSY) and for studying its properties at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN. If SUSY exists at a mass scale less than 1--2 TeV, then it should be easy to observe characteristic deviations from the Standard Model at the LHC. It is more difficult to determine SUSY masses because in most models there are two missing particles \tildeχ_1^0 in every event. However, it is possible to use various kinematic distributions to make precision measurements of combinations of SUSY masses and other…
Question of the proper incorporation of spin effects in tau lepton decays is often of importance. In present work, case of the Z/gamma to tau+ tau- production mechanism is studied in detail. As an example, the effects due to the spin correlations on the potential for the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) Higgs searches in the tau tau decay channel at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) are discussed. For these processes, the Standard Model Z/gamma to tau tau -pair production is a dominant background. The spin effects in high energy physics reactions, can be implemented up to certain app…
We discuss the possible enhancement of the tau lepton events at LHC when the left-handed stau doublet becomes light (which can be even lighter than the right-handed stau). This is illustrated in the constrained supersymmetric seesaw model where the slepton doublet mass is suppressed by the effects of a large neutrino Yukawa coupling. We study a few representative parameter sets in the sneutrino coannihilation regions where the tau sneutrino is NLSP and the stau coannihilation regions where the stau is NLSP both of which yield the thermal neutralino LSP abundance determined by WMAP.
In this paper the production cross section $pp\rightarrow (γ, Z) \to ν_τ\bar ν_τγ+X$ in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=8, 13, 14, 33TeV$ is presented. Furthermore, we estimate bounds at the $95\%C. L.$ on the dipole moments of the tau-neutrino using integrated luminosity of ${\cal L}=20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000, 3000 fb^{-1}$ collected with the ATLAS detector at the LHC and we consider systematic uncertainties of $δ_{sys}=0, 5, 10\%$. It is shown that the process under consideration is a good prospect for probing the dipole moments of the tau-neutrino at the LHC.
If the minimal supersymmetric standard model is the solution to the hierarchy problem, the scalar top quark (stop) and the Higgsino should weigh around the electroweak scale such as 200 GeV. A low messenger scale, which results in a light gravitino, is also suggested to suppress the quantum corrections to the Higgs mass parameters. Therefore the minimal model for natural supersymmetry is a system with stop/Higgsino/gravitino whereas other superparticles are heavy. We study the LHC signatures of the minimal system and discuss the discovery potential and methods for the mass measurements.
In this study, we investigate the potential of the process $pp\rightarrow pγ^{*} p\rightarrow p τ\barν_τq^{\prime} X$ at the LHC to examine the anomalous electromagnetic moments of the tau lepton. We obtain $95\%$ confidence level bounds on the anomalous coupling parameters with various values of the integrated luminosity and center-of-mass energy. The improved bounds have been obtained on the anomalous coupling parameters of electric and magnetic moments of the tau lepton $a_τ$ and $\vert$$d_τ$$\vert$ compared to the current experimental sensitivity bounds. The $γp$ mode of photon reactions a…
The mSUGRA model predicts the polarization of the tau coming from the stau to bino decay in the co-annihilation region to be +1. This can be exploited to extract this soft tau signal at LHC and also to measure the tiny mass differences between the stau and the bino LSP. Moreover this strategy will be applicable for a wider class of bino LSP models, where the lighter stau has a right component at least of similar size as the left.
We have considered a supersymmetric scenario in which the minimal supersymmetric standard model is augmented with a right-chiral neutrino superfield for each generation. Such a scenario can have a lightest supersymmetric particle (LSP) dominated by the right-chiral sneutrino state and the lighter stau as the next-to-lightest supersymmetric particle (NLSP). This can easily be motivated by assuming a high scale framework of supersymmetry breaking like minimal supergravity (mSUGRA). Due to the extremely small neutrino Yukawa coupling, the decay of the NLSP to the LSP is suppressed and consequentl…
We explore how the polarization of the tau leptons in the cascade decay $\tilde{q}\to q\tildeχ^0_2\to qτ\tildeτ\to qττ\tildeχ^0_1$ can be exploited to study mixing properties of neutralinos and staus. We present details of the analysis including experimental effects such as transverse momentum cuts for the $τ\toπν$ decay mode, and show that the di-pion invariant mass distribution provides valuable information on their properties.
Supersymmetry and extra dimensions are the two most promising candidates for new physics at the TeV scale. Supersymmetric particles or extra-dimensional effects could soon be observed at the Large Hadron Collider. We propose a simple but powerful method to discriminate the two models: the analysis of isolated leptons with high transverse momentum. Black hole events are simulated with the CATFISH black hole generator. Supersymmetry simulations use a combination of PYTHIA and ISAJET, the latter providing the mass spectrum. Our results show the measure of the dilepton invariant mass provides a st…
We consider the process of associated stop-chargino production in the MSSM at LHC and show that, at the simplest Born level, the production rate is dramatically sensitive to the choice of the benchmark points, oscillating from potentially "visible" maxima of the picobarn size to much smaller, hardly "visible", values. Adopting a canonical choice of SM type CKM matrices, we also show that in some "visible" cases the total rate exhibits a possibly relevant dependence on tan(beta).
We evaluate the supersymmetry reach of the Large Hadron Collider within the gauge-mediated low energy supersymmetry breaking framework, assuming that a neutralino is the second lightest sparticle and that it decays promptly into a gravitino which escapes detection. We find that the maximum reach is obtained via a search for inclusive $γγ+\eslt$ events coming dominantly from chargino and neutralino production. Assuming an integrated luminosity of 10~$fb^{-1}$, we find that LHC experiments will be able to probe values of the model parameter $Λ\alt 400$ TeV, corresponding to $m_{\tg} \leq 2.8$ Te…
