MiniBooNE charge current quasi-elastic double differential cross section data are analyzed and confronted with predictions of two theoretical nucleus models: Fermi gas and spectral function. The fitting procedure includes the overall flux uncertainty multiplicative factor. In order to obtain a reliable value of the axial mass, bins with large contribution from small momentum transfer are eliminated from the analysis. It is shown that the best fit axial mass value becomes smaller as the momentum transfer cut is more restrictive. For $q_{cut}=500$~MeV/c the obtained values of axial mass are $M_A=1350\pm 66$~MeV for the Fermi gas and $M_A=1343\pm 60$~MeV for the spectral function. The value $M_A=1030$~MeV is excluded on the level which goes far beyond $5σ$.
Results of the analysis of the MiniBooNE experiment data for the neutral current elastic neutrino scattering off the $CH_{2}$ target with the NuWro Monte Carlo generator are presented. Inclusion in the NuWro the two body current contribution leads to the axial mass value $M_A = 1.10^{+0.13}_{-0.15}$ GeV consistent with the older evaluations based on the neutrino-deuteron scattering data. The strange quark contribution to the nucleon spin is estimated with the value $g_A^s = -0.4^{+0.5}_{-0.3}$.
Recently proposed Transverse Enhancement Model of nuclear effects in Charge Current Quasi-Elastic neutrino scattering [A. Bodek, H. S. Budd, and M. E. Christy, Eur. Phys. J. C{\bf 71} (2011) 1726] is confronted with the MiniBooNE high statistics experimental data. It is shown that the {\it effective} large axial mass model leads to better agreement with the data.
The charged-current double differential neutrino cross section, measured by the MiniBooNE Collaboration, has been analyzed using a microscopical model that accounts for, among other nuclear effects, long range nuclear (RPA) correlations and multinucleon scattering. We find that MiniBooNE data are fully compatible with the world average of the nucleon axial mass in contrast with several previous analyses which have suggested an anomalously large value. We also discuss the reliability of the algorithm used to estimate the neutrino energy.
Both neutrino and antineutrino charged-current quasi-elastic scattering on a carbon target are studied to investigate the nuclear effect on the determination of the axial form factor F_A(Q^2). A method for extraction of F_A(Q^2) from the flux-integrated $dσ/dQ^2$ cross section of (anti)neutrino scattering on nuclei is presented. Data from the MiniBooNE experiment are analyzed in the relativistic distorted-wave impulse approximation, Fermi gas model, and in the Fermi gas model with enhancements in the transverse cross section. We found that the values of the axial form factor, extracted in the …
The charged-current quasi-elastic (CCQE) scattering of muon neutrinos on a carbon target is analyzed using the relativistic distorted-wave impulse approximation (RDWIA) taking into account the contribution of the two-particle and two-hole meson exchange current ($2p-2h$ MEC) to the weak response functions. A fit the RDWIA+MEC model to the MiniBooNE neutrino data is performed and the best fit value of nucleon axial mass $M_A=1.2 \pm 0.06$ GeV is obtained. We also extract the values of the axial form factor $F_A(Q^2)$ as a function of the squared momentum transfer $Q^2$ from the measured $dσ/dQ^…
Flux-averaged and flux-integrated cross sections for quasi-elastic neutrino charged-current scattering on nucleus are analyzed. It is shown that the flux-integrated differential cross sections are nuclear model-independent. We calculate these cross sections using the relativistic distorted-wave impulse approximation and relativistic Fermi gas model with the Booster Neutrino Beamline flux and compare results with the recent MiniBooNE experiment data. Within these models an axial mass $M_A$ is extracted from a fit of the measured $dσ/dQ^2$ cross section. The extracted value of $M_A$ is consisten…
The analysis of the recent neutral-current elastic neutrino and antineutrino-nucleus scattering cross sections measured by the MiniBooNE Collaboration requires relativistic theoretical descriptions also accounting for the role of final-state interactions. In this work we investigate the sensitivity to final-state interactions and compare the MiniBooNE data with the results obtained in the relativistic Green's function model with different parameterizations for the phenomenological relativistic optical potential.
We carry out an ab initio calculation of the neutrino flux-folded inclusive cross sections, measured on $^{12}$C by the MiniBooNE and T2K collaborations in the charged-current quasielastic (CCQE) regime. The calculation is based on realistic two- and three-nucleon interactions, and on a realistic nuclear electroweak current with one-and two-nucleon terms that are constructed consistently with these interactions and reproduce low-energy electroweak transitions. Numerically exact quantum Monte Carlo methods are utilized to compute the nuclear weak response functions, by fully retaining many-body…
The results of two relativistic models with different descriptions of the final-state interactions are compared with the MiniBooNE data of charged-current quasielastic cross sections. The relativistic mean field model uses the same potential for the bound and ejected nucleon wave functions. In the relativistic Green's function (RGF) model the final-state interactions are described in the inclusive scattering consistently with the exclusive scattering using the same complex optical potential. The RGF results describe the experimental data for total cross-sections without the need to modify the …
Understanding the charged current quasielestic (CCQE) neutrino-nucleus interaction is important for precision studies of neutrino oscillations. The theoretical description of the interaction depends on the combination of a nuclear model with the knowledge of form factors. While the former has received considerable attention, the latter, in particular the axial form factor, is implemented using the historical dipole model. Instead, we use a model-independent approach, presented in a previous study, to analyze the muon antineutrino CCQE mineral oil data published by the MiniBooNE collaboration. …

The neutral current elastic scattering of neutrinos on Carbon and $CH_2$ targets is computed using the relativistic distorted-wave impulse approximation with relativistic optical potential. Results for exclusive and inclusive neutrino reactions on ${}^{12}$C target are presented. We show that the nuclear effects on the shape of four-momentum transferred squared distribution $dσ/dQ^2_{QE}$ in neutrino neutral-current and charged-current quasi-elastic scattering are similar. We also calculate flux-averaged neutral current elastic differential cross section $dσ/dQ^2_{QE}$ for neutrino scattering …
We compare the predictions of the SuperScaling model for charged current quasielastic muonic neutrino and antineutrino scattering from $^{12}$C with experimental data spanning an energy range up to 100 GeV. We discuss the sensitivity of the results to different parametrizations of the nucleon vector and axial-vector form factors. Finally, we show the differences between electron and muon (anti-)neutrino cross sections relevant for the $ν$STORM facility.
We discuss the nuclear interactions of neutrinos versus those of antineutrinos, a relevant comparison for CP violation experiments in the neutrino sector. We consider the MiniBooNE quasielastic-like double differential neutrinos and antineutrinos cross sections which are flux dependent and hence specific to the MiniBooNE set-up. We combine them introducing their sum and their difference. We show that the last combination can bring a general information, which can be exploited in other experiments, on the nuclear matrix elements of the axial vector interference term. Our theoretical model repro…
Background: Good understanding of the cross sections for (anti)neutrino scattering off nuclear targets in the few-GeV energy region is a prerequisite for correct interpretation of results of ongoing and planned oscillation experiments. Purpose: Clarify possible source of disagreement between recent measurements of the cross sections on carbon. Method: Nuclear effects in (anti)neutrino scattering off carbon nucleus are described using the spectral function approach. The effect of two- and multi-nucleon final states is accounted for by applying an effective value of the axial mass, fixed to 1.23…
Background. Neutrino-induced pion production can give important informationon the axial coupling to nucleon resonances. Furthermore, pion production represents a major background to quasielastic-like events. Single pion production data from the MiniBooNE in charged current neutrino scattering in mineral oil appeared higher than expected within conventional theoretical approaches. Purpose. We aim to investigate which model parameters affect the calculated cross section and how they do this. Method. The Giessen Boltzmann--Uehling--Uhlenbeck (GiBUU) model is used for an investigation of neutrino-…
We analyze the MiniBooNE muon neutrino CCQE-like dσ/dT_μ/dcosθ_μdata using a theoretical model that, among other nuclear effects, includes RPA correlations and 2p2h (multinucleon) mechanisms. These corrections turn out to be essential for the description of the data. We find that MiniBooNE CCQE-like data are fully compatible with former determinations of the nucleon axial mass M_A ~ 1.05 GeV. This is in sharp contrast with several previous analysis where anomalously large values of M_A ~ 1.4 GeV have been suggested. We also show that because of the the multinucleon mechanism effects, the algor…
As a result of a new improved fit to old bubble chamber data of the dominant axial C_5^A nucleon-to-Delta form factor, and due to the relevance of this form factor for neutrino induced coherent pion production, we re-evaluate our model predictions in Phys. Rev. D79, 013002 (2009) for different observables of the latter reaction. Central values for the total cross sections increase by 20% to 30%, while differential cross sections do not change their shape appreciably. Furthermore, we also compute the uncertainties on total, differential and flux averaged cross sections induced by the errors in …
Quasielastic neutrino-nucleon scattering is a basic signal process for neutrino oscillation studies. At accelerator energies, the corresponding cross section is subject to significant uncertainty due to the poorly constrained axial-vector form factor of the nucleon. A model-independent description of the axial-vector form factor is presented. Data from the MiniBooNE experiment for quasielastic neutrino scattering on carbon are analyzed under the assumption of a definite nuclear model. The value of the axial mass parameter, m_A=0.85^{+0.22}_{-0.07} +/- 0.09 GeV, is found to differ significantly…
We have developed a model for neutrino-induced coherent pion production off nuclei in the energy regime of interest for present and forthcoming neutrino oscillation experiments. It is based on a microscopic model for pion production off the nucleon that, besides the dominant Delta pole contribution, takes into account the effect of background terms required by chiral symmetry. Moreover, the model uses a reduced nucleon-to-Delta resonance axial coupling, which leads to coherent pion production cross sections around a factor two smaller than most of the previous theoretical estimates. In the coh…
Quasielastic double differential neutrino cross sections can be obtained in a phenomenological model based on the superscaling behavior of electron scattering data. In this talk the superscaling approach (SuSA) is reviewed and its validity is tested in a relativistic shell model. Results including meson exchange currents for the kinematics of the MiniBoone experiment are presented.
We show a relationship between elastic electron scattering observables and the elastic neutrino cross section that provides a straightforward determination of the latter from experimental data of the former and relates their uncertainties. An illustration of this procedure is presented using a Hartree-Fock mean field for the nuclear structure of a set of even-even nuclear targets, using the spectra of the neutrinos produced in pion decay at rest. We also analyze the prospects to measure the incoherent axial contribution to the neutrino elastic scattering in odd targets.
The excitation of two particle-two hole final states in neutrino-nucleus scattering, not taken into account in Monte Carlo simulations for data analysis, has been advocated by many authors as the source of the excess cross section observed by the MiniBooNE collaboration in the quasi elastic channel. We analyse the mechanisms leading to the appearance of two particle-two hole states, and show that interference between the amplitudes involving one- and two-nucleon currents, not consistently included in existing calculations, plays a major role. A novel approach allowing to treat one- and two-nuc…
Neutral current quasielastic (anti)neutrino scattering cross sections on a $^{12}$C target are analyzed using a realistic spectral function $S(p,E)$ that gives a scaling function in accordance with the ($e,e'$) scattering data. The spectral function accounts for the nucleon-nucleon (NN) correlations by using natural orbitals (NOs) from the Jastrow correlation method and has a realistic energy dependence. The standard value of the axial mass $M_A= 1.032$ GeV is used in all calculations. The role of the final-state interaction (FSI) on the spectral and scaling functions, as well as on the cross …
Two relativistic approaches to charged-current quasielastic neutrino-nucleus scattering are illustrated and compared: one is phenomenological and based on the superscaling behavior of electron scattering data and the other relies on the microscopic description of nuclear dynamics in relativistic mean field theory. The role of meson exchange currents in the two-particle two-hole sector is explored. The predictions of the models for differential and total cross sections are presented and compared with the MiniBooNE data.
The interpretation of the charged (CCQE) and neutral (NCE) current quasi elastic events collected by the MiniBooNE collaboration involves a number of unresolved issues. While it has been suggested that the data can be explained in terms of an effective nucleon axial mass, $M_A$, the results of our theoretical calculations suggest that the CCQE and NCE samples cannot be described by the same value of $M_A$. We argue that the disagreement between theory and data may arise from the uncertainties associated with the flux average procedure. We also analyze the role of the strange quark in NCE inter…
We evaluate the cross-section for gamma production by neutrinos through a meson exchange effect which derives from the concept of axial-vector mixing. The resulting cross-section leads to some increase of the gamma production cross-section by neutrinos, especially at low neutrino energies, which may influence the understanding of the low energy excess of electron-like events seen in the MiniBooNE experiment.

Good understanding of the cross sections for (anti)neutrino scattering off nuclear targets in the few-GeV energy region is a prerequisite for the correct interpretation of results of ongoing and planned oscillation experiments. To clarify a possible source of disagreement between recent measurements of the cross sections on carbon, we analyze the available data within an approach based on the realistic spectral function of carbon, treating neutral-current elastic (NCE) and charged-current quasielastic (CCQE) processes on equal footing. We show that the axial mass from the shape analysis of the…
The availability of the double-differential charged-current neutrino cross section, measured by the MiniBooNE collaboration using a carbon target, allows for a systematic comparison of nuclear effects in quasi-elastic electron and neutrino scattering. The results of our study, based on the impulse approximation scheme and a state-of-the-art model of the nuclear spectral functions, suggest that the electron cross section and the flux averaged neutrino cross sections, corresponding to the same target and comparable kinematical conditions, cannot be described within the same theoretical approach …
In this work, we study charged current quasi elastic scattering of muon anti-neutrino off nucleon and nucleus using a formalism based on Llewellyn Smith (LS) model. Parameterizations by Galster et al. are used for electric and magnetic Sach's form factors of nucleons. We use Fermi gas model along with Pauli suppression condition to take into account the nuclear effects in anti-neutrino - nucleus QES. We calculate muon anti-neutrino-p and muon anti-neutrino-^{12}C charged current quasi elastic scattering differential and total cross sections for different values of axial mass M_{A} and compare …
Charged-current neutrino-nucleus scattering is studied in the quasielastic region with the KIDS (Korea-IBS-Daegu-SKKU) nuclear energy density functional. We focus on the uncertainties stemming from the axial mass and the in-medium effective mass of the nucleon. Comparing the result of theory to the state-of-the-art data from MiniBooNE, T2K, and MINER$ν$A, we constrain the axial mass and the effective mass that are compatible with the data. We find that the total cross section is insensitive to the effective mass, so the axial mass could be determined independently of the uncertainty in the eff…
We report on a calculation of cross sections for charged-current quasielastic antineutrino scattering off $^{12}$C in the energy range of interest for the MiniBooNE experiment. We adopt the impulse approximation (IA) and use the nonrelativistic continuum random phase approximation (CRPA) to model the nuclear dynamics. An effective nucleon-nucleon interaction of the Skyrme type is used. We compare our results with the recent MiniBooNE antineutrino cross-section data and confront them with alternate calculations. The CRPA predictions reproduce the gross features of the shape of the measured doub…
A non-technical overview of charge current quasi-elastic neutrino interaction is presented. Many body computations of multinucleon ejection which is proposed to explain recent large axial mass measurements are discussed. A few comments on recent experimental results reported at NuInt11 workshop are included.
We investigate the double differential neutrino-carbon quasielastic cross sections as measured by the MiniBooNE experiment. Our present treatment incorporates relativistic corrections in the nuclear response functions and includes the multinucleon component. We confirm our previous conclusion that it is possible to account for all the data without any modification of the axial mass. We also introduce the Q^2 distribution for charged and neutral current. The data point at a sizable multinucleon component beside the genuine quasielastic peak. They are also indicative of the collective character …
We present a theory of neutrino interactions with nuclei aimed at the description of the partial cross-sections, namely quasi-elastic and multi-nucleon emission, coherent and incoherent single pion production. For this purpose, we use the theory of nuclear responses treated in the random phase approximation, which allows a unified description of these channels. It is particularly suited for the coherent pion production where collective effects are important whereas they are moderate in the other channels. We also study the evolution of the neutrino cross-sections with the mass number from carb…
The axial form factor plays a crucial role in quasielastic neutrino-nucleus scattering, but the error of the theoretical cross section due to uncertainties of $G_A$ remains to be established. Reversely, the extraction of $G_A$ from the neutrino nucleus cross section suffers from large systematic errors due to nuclear model dependencies, while the use of single parameter dipole fits underestimates the errors and prevents an identification of the relevant kinematics for this determination. We propose to use a generalized axial-vector-meson-dominance (AVMD) in conjunction with large-$N_c$ and hig…
The quasi-elastic scattering of muon neutrino and electrons on a carbon target are analyzed using the relativistic distorted-wave impulse approximation (RDWIA). We also evaluate the contribution of the two-particle and two-hole meson exchange current ($2p-2h$ MEC) to electroweak response functions. The nuclear model dependence of the (anti)neutrino cross sections is studied within the RDWIA+MEC approach and RDWIA model with the large nucleon axial mass. It is shown that the results for the squared momentum transfer distribution $dσ/dQ^2$ and for invariant mass of the final hadronic system dist…
Precise knowledge of the nucleon's axial-current form factors is crucial for modeling GeV-scale neutrino-nucleus interactions. Unfortunately, the axial form factor remains insufficiently constrained to meet the precision requirements of upcoming long-baseline neutrino-oscillation experiments. This work studies the nucleon's axial and vector form factors using the light-front approach to build a quark-diquark model of the nucleon with an explicit pion cloud. The light-front wave functions in both the quark and pion-baryon Fock spaces are first calibrated to existing experimental information on …
Global Fit of Electron and Neutrino Elastic Scattering Data to Determine the Strange Quark Contribution to the Vector and Axial Form Factors of the Nucleon
We analyze polarization phenomena for elastic lepton-nucleon scattering, parametrizing the $2γ$-exchange contribution, as the product of lepton and nucleon axial vector currents, that correspond to $C=+1$ exchange in the annihilation channel. We found two combinations of polarization observables (one for three T-odd observables and another one - for five T-even observables), which allow to measure the ratio $G_E(Q^2)/G_M(Q^2)$ of nucleon electromagnetic form factors in model independent way, without any specific assumption about the $2γ$-exchange mechanism. Both these combinations have a gener…
[Background] The neutrino-nucleus ($νA$) cross section is a major source of systematic uncertainty in neutrino-oscillation studies. A precise $νA$ scattering model, in which multinucleon effects are incorporated, is pivotal for an accurate interpretation of the data. [Purpose] In $νA$ interactions, meson-exchange currents (MECs) can induce two-nucleon ($2N$) knockout from the target nucleus, resulting in a two-particle two-hole (2p2h) final state. They also affect single nucleon ($1N$) knockout reactions, yielding a one-particle one-hole (1p1h) final state. Both channels affect the inclusive s…
We examine neutral-current quasi-elastic neutrino-nucleus reactions on $^{12}$C and $^{208}$Pb targets. We use the relativistic mean field theory approach to describe the nuclear dynamics. We compute the cross sections for the scattering of 150-MeV, 500-MeV and 1000-MeV neutrinos on a $^{12}$C target and study the effect of the strange-quark content of the nucleon which appears in these reactions via the isoscalar weak current. We compare our results with the data of the MiniBooNE experiment for mineral oil (CH$_2$). We also calculate the cross section for the quasi-elastic neutron knockout re…
The cross section for coherent elastic neutrino-nucleus scattering (CE$ν$NS) depends on the response of the target nucleus to the external current, in the Standard Model (SM) mediated by the exchange of a $Z$ boson. This is typically subsumed into an object called the weak form factor of the nucleus. Here, we provide results for this form factor calculated using the large-scale nuclear shell model for a wide range of nuclei of relevance for current CE$ν$NS experiments, including cesium, iodine, argon, fluorine, sodium, germanium, and xenon. In addition, we provide the responses needed to captu…
We obtain a general rule that the O(1/log m_h) term due to the current \bar{h}γ_μγ_5h of a mass-m_h quark h in f-flavour theory is -3\bar{g}^2_f(m_h)/{2π^2(33-2f)} times the flavour singlet current of the residual (f-1)-flavour theory, where \bar{g}_f is the f-flavour running coupling constant in a mass-independent renormalization scheme. The rule is applied to the Ellis-Jaffe moment below and well above charm threshold, and to low-energy Z^0-exchange amplitudes. The singlet axial charge of the proton common to these experiments is both scale and gauge invariant, but is related to the axial an…
We calculate the total and differential quasielastic cross sections for neutrino and antineutrino scattering on nucleons using up to date fits to the nucleon elastic electromagnetic form factors $G_E^p$, $G_E^n$, $G_M^p$, $G_M^n$, and weak and pseudoscalar form factors. We find that using the updated non-zero value of $G_E^n$ has a significant effect on both the total and differential neutrino and antineutrino quasielastic cross sections. Previous extractions of the weak axial form factor from neutrino scattering data are sensitive to the assumptions that were used for the vector form factors.…
We present a comprehensive analysis of the $γW$ interference radiative correction to the neutron $β$-decay matrix element. Within a dispersion relations approach, we compute the axial-vector part of the $γW$ box amplitude $\Box^{γW}_{A}$ in terms of the isoscalar part of the $F_3^{γW}$ interference structure function. Using the latest available phenomenology for $F_3^{γW}$ from the nucleon elastic, resonance, deep-inelastic, and Regge regions, we find the real part of the box correction to be $\Box^{γW}_A = 3.90(9) \times 10^{-3}$. This improved correction gives a theoretical estimate of the C…
We evaluate the neutral current quasi-elastic neutrino cross section within two nuclear models: the SuSA model, based on the superscaling behavior of electron scattering data, and the RMF model, based on relativistic mean field theory. We also estimate the ratio $(νp \to νp)/(νN \to νN)$ and compare with the MiniBooNE experimental data, performing a fit of the parameters $M_A$ and $g_A^{(s)}$ within the two models. Finally, we present our predictions for antineutrino scattering.
We present an analysis of elastic and quasielastic parity-violating (PV) electron scattering processes. These reactions can help to constrain the weak neutral current form factors of the nucleon that play an essential role in the description of neutrino cross sections at intermediate energies. We show that combining information from the analysis of elastic and quasielastic reactions the current knowledge on the strange and axial-vector form factors can be significantly improved.
We compare the charged-current quasielastic neutrino and antineutrino observables obtained in two different nuclear models, the phenomenological SuperScaling Approximation and the Relativistic Mean Field approach, with the recent data published by the MINERvA Collaboration. Both models provide a good description of the data without the need of an ad hoc increase in the mass parameter in the axial-vector dipole form factor. Comparisons are also made with the MiniBooNE results where different conclusions are reached.
The analysis of the sample of charged current quasi elastic events collected by the MiniBooNE Collaboration suggests that the scheme successfully employed to describe electron-nucleus scattering fails to explain neutrino-nucleus cross sections. I argue that, due to flux average, the double differential neutrino-nucleus cross section does not allow for a clearcut determination of the dominant reaction mechanism. A systematic study of the large body of electron scattering data may help to identify the processes, other than single nucleon knockout, contributing to the observed neutrino cross sect…
We study the incoherent neutrinoproduction of photons and pions with neutrino energy E_ν $\leqslant$ 0.5 GeV. These processes are relevant to the background analysis in neutrino-oscillation experiments, for example MiniBooNE [A. A. Aquilar-Arevalo \textit{et al.} (MiniBooNE Collaboration), Phys. Rev. Lett. 100, 032301(2008)]. The calculations are carried out using a Lorentz-covariant effective field theory (EFT) which contains nucleons, pions, the Delta (1232) ($Δ$ s), isoscalar scalar ($σ$) and vector ($ω$) fields, and isovector vector ($ρ$) fields, and has SU(2)_{L} $\otimes$ SU(2)_{R} chira…
Flux-integrated semi-exclusive differential and integral cross sections for quasi-elastic neutrino charged-current scattering on argon are analyzed. We calculate these cross sections using the relativistic distorted-wave impulse approximation and compare with recent MicroBooNE data. We found that the measured cross sections can be described well within the experimental uncertainties with value of the nucleon axial mass $1 < M_A < 1.2$ GeV. The contribution of the exclusive channel $\boldmath{(ν_μ, μp)}$ to the flux-integrated inclusive cross sections is about 50\%.
The availability of the double-differential charged-current neutrino cross section, measured by the MiniBooNE collaboration using a carbon target, allows for a systematic comparison of nuclear effects in quasi-elastic electron and neutrino scattering. The results of theoretical studies based on the impulse approximation scheme and state-of-the-art models of the nuclear spectral functions suggest that the electron cross section and the flux averaged neutrino cross sections corresponding to the same target and seemingly comparable kinematical conditions can not be described within the same theor…
The differential cross-sections for elastic and inelastic neutrino-deuteron scattering are calculated analytically using nucleon-nucleon effective field theory. For elastic scattering, the deuteron axial form factor and the deuteron strange magnetic moment form factor are computed to next-to-leading order, including two-body currents. For inelastic scattering, two neutral current processes nu+d->nu+n+p, nubar+d->nubar+n+p and one charged current process nubar+d->(e^+)+n+n are computed to next-to-leading order. These depend on an isovector axial two-body matrix element whose value is yet to be …
