We first prove several general results about category O, and then focus on rational Cherednik algebras associated to the general and special linear group over a finite field of the same characteristic as the underlying algebraically closed field. We study a finite dimensional quotient of the rational Cherednik algebra called the restricted rational Cherednik algebra. We define Lie algebra cohomology associated with the half-Dirac operators for representations of rational Cherednik algebras and show that it has property described in the Casselman-Osborne Theorem by establishing a version of the Vogan's conjecture for the half-Dirac operators. Moreover, we study the relationship between Lie algebra cohomology and Dirac cohomology in analogy of the representations for semisimple Lie algebras.
We study the endomorphism algebra of Verma modules for rational Cherednik algebras at t=0. It is shown that, in many cases, these endomorphism algebras are quotients of the centre of the rational Cherednik algebra. Geometrically, they define Lagrangian subvariaties of the generalized Calogero-Moser space. We give an overview of the representation theory of restricted rational Cherednik algebras. These are certain finite-dimensional quotients of rational Cherednik algebras at t=0. Their representation theory is connected to the geometry of the Calogero-Moser space, and there is a lot of evidence that they contain certain information about Hecke algebras even though the precise connection is so far unclear. We outline the basic theory along with some open problems and conjectures, and give explicit results in the cyclic and dihedral cases.

The classification turns out to be closely related to the cuspidal two-sided cells in the sense of Lusztig. Singular polynomials for the smallest singular values are constructed in terms of the Jack polynomials.
