The transition magnetic dipole and electric quadrupole moments of the radiative decays of the sextet heavy flavored spin 3/2 to the heavy spin 1/2 baryons are calculated within the light cone QCD sum rules approach. Using the obtained results, the decay rate for these transitions are also computed and compared with the existing predictions of the other approaches.

The calculation of lifetimes of heavy-flavored baryons in the light-front quark model approach is briefly reviewed.
We analyze strong one-pion and radiative one-photon decays of heavy flavored baryons within a relativistic three-quark model. Employing the same parameters as were used for the description of the semileptonic decays of heavy baryons, we calculate the couplings of one-pion and one-photon transitions of both ground and excited heavy baryon states. We predict the decay rates for all relevant decay modes and compare them with experimental data when available and with the results of other model calculations.

We discuss the mass differences for isospin multiplets of the charmed and b-flavored baryons. The mass of the neutral b-flavored sigma baryon, which is not measured, is calculated. We point out, that the measurements of the mass differences between the charmed sigma and chi baryons might be wrong.
We explore lepton-flavored electroweak baryogenesis, driven by CP-violation in leptonic Yukawa sector, using the $τ-μ$ system in the two Higgs doublet model as an example. We further explore a recent proposal that the vector mesons in QCD have a special role as Chern-Simons fields on various QCD objects such as domain walls and the one flavored baryons. We compute contributions to domain wall theories and to the baryon current coming from a generalized Wess-Zumino term including vector mesons. Recent measurements of lifetimes of some $b$-flavored hadrons are presented and interpreted in the context of theoretical models, especially the Heavy Quark Expansion. Decay widths and decay width differences in the $B_s^0-\overline{B}_s^0$ system are discussed from studies of decays into the final states $J/ψK^+K^-$, $J/ψπ^+π^-$, $D_s^+D_s^-$, $K^+K^-$, and $D_s^{\pm}π^{\mp}$. We propose a model with $D_4$ flavor symmetry for leptogenesis in the framework of supersymmetric $SU(5)$ grand unified theory. Hadronization of heavy quarks reveals various unusual features. Gluon radiation by a heavy quark originated from a hard process, ceases shortly on a distance of the order of few fm. Due to the dead-cone effect a heavy quark radiates only a small fraction of its energy. This is why the measured fragmentation function D(z) peaks at large z. We show that energetically favored meson-baryon fluctuations present in the light-cone wave function of a transversely polarized proton can account for the left-right asymmetries measured in inclusive meson production processes.
We extend the approach based on the light-cone expansion and the heavy quark effective theory to the inclusive semileptonic decay of an unpolarized $b$-flavored hadron. It is applied to calculate the semileptonic decay width of the $Λ_b$ baryon and its ratio to that of the B meson. We obtain $Γ_{SL}(Λ_b)= 51\pm 9 |V_{cb}|^2{ps}^{-1}$ and $Γ_{SL}(Λ_b)/Γ_{SL}(B)= 1.052\pm 0.006$. From the latter, the semileptonic branching fraction for $Λ_b$ is predicted to be $(8.7\pm 0.7)%$.

The semileptonic decays of heavy spin--1/2, $Ξ_{b(c)}$ and $Ξ'_{b(c)}$ baryons to the light spin-- 1/2, $Ξ$ and $Σ$ baryons are investigated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. In particular, using the most general form of the interpolating currents for the heavy baryons as well as the distribution amplitudes of the $Ξ$ and $Σ$ baryons, we calculate all form factors entering the matrix elements of the corresponding effective Hamiltonians in full QCD. Having calculated the responsible form factors, we evaluate the decay rates and branching fractions of the related transitions.

In this paper, we analyze the doubly heavy spin-3/2--spin-1/2 baryons and light meson vertices within the method of light-cone QCD sum rules. These vertices are parametrized in terms of one (three) coupling constant(s) for the pseudoscalar (vector) mesons. The said coupling constants are calculated for all possible transitions. The results presented here can serve to be useful information in experimental as well as theoretical studies of the properties of doubly heavy baryons.

We present the light-cone QCD sum rules up to twist 6 for the electromagnetic form factors of the $Λ$ baryon. To estimate the magnetic moment of the baryon, the magnetic form factor is fitted by the dipole formula. The numerical value of our estimation is $μ_Λ=-(0.64\pm0.04)μ_N$, which is in accordance with the experimental data and the existing theoretical results. We find that it is twist 4 but not the leading twist distribution amplitudes that dominate the results.
The coupling constants of K and pi mesons with the octet baryons are studied in light cone QCD sum rules taking into account SU(3)f flavor symmetry breaking effects, but keeping the SU(2) isospin symmetry intact. It is shown that, in the SU(3)f flavor symmetry breaking case, all of the couplings can be written in terms of four universal functions instead of F and D couplings which exist in the SU(3)f symmetry case. We also estimate the degree of the violation of U-spin symmetry. The obtained results for the multipole form factors can be useful in searching the properties of radially excited baryon states.
Form factors of the weak $Ξ_c \to Ξ(Λ)$ transitions are calculated within the light cone QCD sum rules. The pollutions coming from the contribution of the negative parity $Ξ_c^*$ baryon is eliminated by considering the combinations of sum rules corresponding to the different Lorentz structures. Having obtained the form factors, the branching ratios of the $Ξ_c \to Ξ(Λ) \ell ν$ decays are also calculated, and our predictions are compared with the results of other approaches as well as the measurements done by BELLE and ALICE Collaborations.

The obtained non-vanishing values for the electric quadrupole and magnetic octupole moments of these baryons show nonspherical charge distribution. The Light-cone distribution amplitudes (LCDAs) of the $Σ^\pm$ baryons up to twist six are investigated on the basis of QCD conformal partial wave expansion approach. The calculations are carried out to the next-to-leading order of conformal spin accuracy. The nonperturbative parameters relevant to the LCDAs are determined in the framework of the QCD sum rule method. The explicit expressions of the LCDAs are given as the main results.
We derive QCD light-cone sum rules for the hadronic matrix elements of the heavy baryon transitions to nucleon. The form factors responsible for $Ω_c \to Ω$ transitions are calculated using the distribution amplitudes of $Ω_c$ baryon. With the obtained form factors, the branching ratios of $Ω_c^0 \to Ω^- l^+ ν_l$, $Ω_c^0 \rightarrow Ω^- π^+$, and $Ω_c^0 \rightarrow Ω^- ρ^+$ decays are estimated. The results are compared with Belle data as well as the findings of the other approaches.
Taking into account the $SU(3)_f$ breaking effects, the strong coupling constants of the $π$, $K$ and $η$ mesons with decuplet baryons are calculated within light cone QCD sum rules method. It is shown that all coupling constants, even in the case of $SU(3)_f$ breaking, are described in terms of only one universal function. We study the electroweak properties of ground state octet baryons in a relativistic quark-spectator-diquark model, with light-front formalism applied to take relativistic effects into account.
