A simple integral formula as an iterated residue is presented for the Baker-Akhiezer function related to $A_n$ type root system both in the rational and trigonometric cases. We present also a formula for the Baker-Akhiezer function as a Selberg-type integral and generalise it to the deformed $A_{n,1}$-case. These formulas can be interpreted as new cases of explicit evaluation of Selberg-type integrals.
We introduce the notion of discrete Baker-Akhiezer (DBA) modules, which are modules over the ring of difference operators, as a certain discretization of Baker-Akhiezer modules which are modules over the ring of differential operators. We use it to construct commuting difference operators with matrix coefficients in several discrete variables.
For the rational Baker-Akhiezer functions associated with special arrangements of hyperplanes with multiplicities we establish an integral identity, which may be viewed as a generalisation of the self-duality property of the usual Gaussian function with respect to the Fourier transformation. We show that the value of properly normalised Baker-Akhiezer function at the origin can be given by an integral of Macdonald-Mehta type and explicitly compute these integrals for all known Baker-Akhiezer arrangements. We use the Dotsenko-Fateev integrals to extend this calculation to all deformed root syst…
The restriction, on the spectral variables, of the Baker-Akhiezer (BA) module of a g-dimensional principally polarized abelian variety with the non-singular theta divisor to an intersection of shifted theta divisors is studied. It is shown that the restriction to a k-dimensional variety becomes a free module over the ring of differential operators in $k$ variables. The remaining g-k derivations define evolution equations for generators of the BA-module. As a corollary new examples of commutative ring of partial differential operators with matrix coefficients and their non-trivial evolution equ…
The free Baker-Akhiezer modules on rational varieties obtained from ${\mathbb C}P^{1}\times{\mathbb C}P^{n-1}$ by identification of two hypersurfaces are constructed. The corollary of this construction is the existence of embedding of meromorphic function ring with some fixed pole into the ring of matrix differential operators in $n$ variables.
We establish orthogonality relations for the Baker-Akhiezer (BA) eigenfunctions of the Macdonald difference operators. We also obtain a version of Cherednik-Macdonald-Mehta integral for these functions. As a corollary, we give a simple derivation of the norm identity and Cherednik-Macdonald-Mehta integral for Macdonald polynomials. In the appendix written by the first author, we prove a summation formula for BA functions. We also consider more general identities of Cherednik type, which we use to introduce and construct more general, twisted BA functions. This leads to a construction of new qu…
In this paper we study Baker-Akhiezer spinor kernel on moduli spaces of meromorphic differentials on Riemann surfaces. We introduce the Baker-Akhiezer tau-function which is related to both Bergman tau-function (which was studied before in the context of Hurwitz spaces and spaces of holomorphic and quadratic differentials) and KP tau-function on such spaces. In particular, we derive variational formulas of Rauch-Ahlfors type on moduli spaces of meromorphic differentials with prescribed singularities: we use the system of homological coordinates, consisting of absolute and relative periods of th…
We study a class of arrangements of lines with multiplicities on the plane which admit the Chalykh-Veselov Baker-Akhiezer function. These arrangements are obtained by adding multiplicity one lines in an invariant way to any dihedral arrangement with invariant multiplicities. We describe all the Baker-Akhiezer arrangements when at most one line has multiplicity higher than 1. We study associated algebras of quasi-invariants which are isomorphic to the commutative algebras of quantum integrals for the generalized Calogero-Moser operators. We compute the Hilbert series of these algebras and we co…
We construct the quantum curve for the Baker-Akhiezer function of the orbifold Gromov-Witten theory of the weighted projective line $\mathbb P[r]$. Furthermore, we deduce the explicit bilinear Fermionic formula for the (stationary) Gromov-Witten potential via the lifting operator constructed from the Baker-Akhiezer function.
Using linear combinations of Lax matrices of soliton hierarchies, we introduce trigonal curves by their characteristic equations, and determine Dubrovin type equations for zeros and poles of meromorphic functions defined as ratios of the Baker-Akhiezer functions. We straighten out all flows in soliton hierarchies under the Abel-Jacobi coordinates associated with Lax pairs, and generate algebro-geometric solutions to soliton hierarchies in terms of the Riemann theta functions, through observing asymptotic behaviors of the Baker-Akhiezer functions. We analyze the four-component AKNS soliton hier…
We consider the geometrical addition law on the elliptic curve in Tate coordinates. It corresponds to the general formal group law over the ring of polynomials with integer coefficients of the parametra of the curve. We study the structure of this law and the differential equation that determines its exponent. We describe a 5-parametric family of Hirzebruch genera with integer values on stably complex manifolds. We introduce the general Krichever genus, which is given by a generalized Baker-Akhiezer function. This function has many of the fundamental properties of the Baker-Akhiezer function, …
In this article, we show that the double scaling limit correlation functions of a random matrix model when two cuts merge with degeneracy $2m$ (i.e. when $y\sim x^{2m}$ for arbitrary values of the integer $m$) are the same as the determinantal formulae defined by conformal $(2m,1)$ models. Our approach follows the one developed by Bergère and Eynard in \cite{BergereEynard} and uses a Lax pair representation of the conformal $(2m,1)$ models (giving Painlevé II integrable hierarchy) as suggested by Bleher and Eynard in \cite{BleherEynard}. In particular we define Baker-Akhiezer functions associa…
In this series of lectures, we (re)view the "geometric method" that reconstructs, from a geometric object: the "spectral curve", an integrable system, and in particular its Tau function, Baker-Akhiezer functions and "current amplitudes", all having an interpretation as CFT conformal blocks. The construction identifies Hamiltonians with cycles on the curve, and times with periods (integrals of forms over cycles). All the integrable structure is formulated in terms of homology of contours, the phase space is a space of cycles where the symplectic form is the intersection, the Hirota operator is …
