Gelfand-Tsetlin algebras and cohomology rings of Laumon spaces

Laumon moduli spaces are certain smooth closures of the moduli spaces of maps from the projective line to the flag variety of GL_n. We calculate the equivariant cohomology rings of the Laumon moduli spaces in terms of Gelfand-Tsetlin subalgebra of U(gl_n), and formulate a conjectural answer for the small quantum cohomology rings in terms of certain commutative shift of argument subalgebras of U(gl_n).

Quantum affine Gelfand-Tsetlin bases and quantum toroidal algebra via K-theory of affine Laumon spaces

Laumon moduli spaces are certain smooth closures of the moduli spaces of maps from the projective line to the flag variety of GL_n. We construct the action of the quantum loop algebra U_v(Lsl_n) in the equivariant K-theory of Laumon spaces by certain natural correspondences. Also we construct the action of the quantum toroidal algebra U^{tor}_v(Lsl}_n) in the equivariant K-theory of the affine version of Laumon spaces. We write down explicit formulae for this action in the affine Gelfand-Tsetlin base, corresponding to the fixed point base in the localized equivariant K-theory.

Gelfand-Tsetlin varieties for Yangians

S. Ovsienko proved that the Gelfand-Tsetlin variety for $\mathfrak{gl}_n$ is equidimensional (i.e., all its irreducible components have the same dimension) of dimension $\frac{n(n-1)}{2}$. This result is known as Ovsienko's Theorem and it has important consequences in Representation Theory of Algebras. In this paper, we will study the Gelfand-Tsetlin varieties for restricted Yangian $Y_p(\mathfrak{gl}_n)$ and the equidimensionality for $Y_p(\mathfrak{gl}_3)$.

Yangians and cohomology rings of Laumon spaces

Laumon moduli spaces are certain smooth closures of the moduli spaces of maps from the projective line to the flag variety of $GL_n$. We construct the action of the Yangian of $sl_n$ in the cohomology of Laumon spaces by certain natural correspondences. We construct the action of the affine Yangian (two-parametric deformation of the universal enveloping algebra of the universal central extension of $sl_n[s^{\pm1},t]$) in the cohomology of the affine version of Laumon spaces. Gelfand-Tsetlin variety for $\mathfrak{gl}_n$

S. Ovsienko proved that the Gelfand-Tsetlin variety for $\mathfrak{gl}_n$ is equidimensional (i.e. all its irreducible components have the same dimension) with dimension equals $\frac{n(n-1)}{2}$. This result has important consequences in Representation Theory of Algebras, implying, in particular, the equidimensionality of the nilfiber of the Kostant-Wallach map. In this paper we will present the generalization of this result and will address a weak version of Ovsienko's Theorem which includes the regular case.

Degree bounds for type-A weight rings and Gelfand--Tsetlin semigroups

A weight ring in type A is the coordinate ring of the GIT quotient of the variety of flags in $\C^n$ modulo a twisted action of the maximal torus in $\SL(n,\C)$. We show that any weight ring in type A is generated by elements of degree strictly less than the Krull dimension, which is at worst $O(n^2)$. On the other hand, we show that the associated semigroup of Gelfand--Tsetlin patterns can have an essential generator of degree exponential in $n$.

Gelfand--Tsetlin degenerations of representations and flag varieties

Our main goal is to show that the Gelfand--Tsetlin toric degeneration of the type A flag variety can be obtained within a degenerate representation-theoretic framework similar to the theory of PBW degenerations. In fact, we provide such frameworks for all Gröbner degenerations intermediate between the flag variety and the GT toric variety. These degenerations are shown to induce filtrations on the irreducible representations and the associated graded spaces are acted upon by a certain associative algebra. The Gelfand-Tsetlin and the Feigin-Fourier-Littelmann-Vinberg polytopes for the Grassmannians are defined, from the perspective of representation theory, to parametrize certain bases for highest weight irreducible modules. Inverse systems, Gelfand-Tsetlin patterns and the weak Lefschetz property

Migliore-Miró-Roig-Nagel [Trans. A.M.S. 2011, arXiv: 0811.1023] show that the weak Lefschetz property (WLP) can fail for an ideal I in K[x_1,x_2,x_3,x_4] generated by powers of linear forms. This is in contrast to the analogous situation in K[x_1,x_2,x_3], where WLP always holds [H.Schenck, A.Seceleanu, Proc. A.M.S. 2010, arXiv:0911.0876]. Schubert calculus from polyhedral parametrizations of Demazure crystals

One approach to Schubert calculus is to realize Schubert classes as concrete combinatorial objects such as Schubert polynomials. Through an identification of the cohomology ring of the type A full flag variety with the polytope ring of the Gelfand-Tsetlin polytopes, Kiritchenko-Smirnov-Timorin realized each Schubert class as a sum of reduced (dual) Kogan faces. Elliptic Stable Envelopes and Finite-dimensional Representations of Elliptic Quantum Group

We construct a finite dimensional representation of the face type, i.e dynamical, elliptic quantum group associated with $sl_N$ on the Gelfand-Tsetlin basis of the tensor product of the $n$-vector representations. The result is described in a combinatorial way by using the partitions of $[1,n]$.
