Physical explanation of hyperconductivity and thermal superconductivity existence is done in given article on the basis of inherent atomic nuclei oscillations in atoms of materials which are connected with electrons and phonons and in accordance with the well known Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer superconductivity theory.
It is shown that hyperconductivity is the self-supporting, independent physical phenomenon which is caused by oscillations of atomic nuclei in atoms of materials and the minimal temperature of its existence does not reach absolute zero temperature. Hyperconductivity represents the typical dynamic condition of a material with zero electrical and zero thermal resistances.
Reentrant superconductivity has been observed in the candidate spin-triplet superconductor UTe$_2$ as a function of the magnetic field applied along the hard axis. Resistivity measurements have shown, a broadened superconducting transition appears near the minimal $T_c$, highlighting the importance of superconducting fluctuations in this regime. We present a phenomenological study assuming a field-driven first-order transition between two superconducting states. We show that with quenched randomness, inhomogeneity-enhanced superconducting fluctuations near the transition could naturally accoun…
We report the electronic structure, synthesis, and measurements of the magnetic, transport, and thermal properties of the polycrystalline noncentrosymmetric compound Re$_{6}$Zr. We observed a bulk superconducting transition at temperature $T_{c}$ $\sim$ 6.7 K, and measured the resistivity, heat capacity, thermal conductivity, and the London penetration depth below the transition, as well as performed doping and pressure studies. From these measurements we extracted the critical field, and the superconducting parameters of Re$_{6}$Zr. Our measurements indicate a relatively weak to moderate cont…
In unconventional high-$T_c$ cuprate superconductors, the intricate interplay between the non-ergodic bad metal and the strange metal state has remained enigmatic. Herein, we unravel this mystery using ab initio molecular dynamics simulations and the temperature-dependent effective potential method. Our investigation, centered on YBa$_2$Cu$_3$O$_7$ , provides the first simulation report on the $B_{1g}$ phonon anomaly, unveiling thermal decoupling induced by the bond weakening between the Ba atom and CuO$_2$ plane. This decoupling emerges as a pivotal underpinning behind several puzzling phenom…
Type I superconductivity has recently been reported for the Dirac semimetal PdTe$_2$ (Tc approximately 1.6K) with, remarkably, multiple critical fields and a complex phase diagram. Here, measurements of the specific heat utilizing a thermal relaxation technique are presented. Conventional weak-coupling BCS superconductivity is confirmed by examining the temperature dependence of the specific heat in zero field. By probing the latent heat accompanying the superconducting transition, thermodynamic evidence for type I superconductivity is attained. The presence of the intermediate state is observ…
To study the superconducting gap structure of BiS$_2$-based layered compound NdO$_{0.71}$F$_{0.29}$BiS$_{2}$ ($T$$_{\rm c}$ = 5 K), we measured the thermal conductivity $κ$, which is a sensitive probe of the low-energy quasiparticle spectrum. In the absence of a magnetic field, there is only a very small residual linear term in the thermal conductivity $κ_{0}$/$T$ at $T$ $\rightarrow$ 0, indicating the absence of a residual normal fluid, expected for nodal superconductors. Moreover, the applied magnetic field hardly affects the thermal conductivity in the wide range of the vortex state, indica…
Recently it has been demonstrated that the pair-exchange coupling of quasi-one-dimensional (Q1D) bands with conventional higher-dimensional bands in one multiband superconducting material can result in the formation of robust aggregate pair condensate. In particular, it has been found that the Q1D thermal pair fluctuations are suppressed in the presence of deep conventional band(s), where the Fermi level is much larger than the characteristic cut-off energy. Here we report that impact of the Q1D fluctuations is significantly weakened even in the presence of nearly shallow higher-dimensional ba…
We revisit the interplay between superconductivity and quantum criticality when thermal effects from virtual static bosons are included. These contributions, which arise from an effective theory compactified on the thermal circle, strongly affect field-theoretic predictions even at small temperatures. We argue that they are ubiquitous in a wide variety of models of non-Fermi liquid behavior, and generically produce a parametric suppression of superconducting instabilities. We apply these ideas to non-Fermi liquids in $d=2$ space dimensions, obtained by coupling a Fermi surface to a Landau-damp…
We investigate diffusive nanowire-based structures with two normal terminals on the sides and a central superconducting island in the middle, which is either grounded or floating. Using a semiclassical calculation we demonstrate that both device layouts permit a quantitative measurement of the energy-dependent sub-gap thermal conductance $G_\mathrm{th}$ from the spectral density of the current noise. In the floating case this goal is achieved without the need to contact the superconductor provided the device is asymmetric, that may be attractive from the experimental point of view. In addition…
We study the interplay between superconductivity and non-Fermi liquid behavior of a Fermi surface coupled to a massless $SU(N)$ matrix boson near the quantum critical point. The presence of thermal infrared singularities in both the fermionic self-energy and the gap equation invalidates the Eliashberg approximation, and makes the quantum-critical pairing problem qualitatively different from that at zero temperature. Taking the large $N$ limit, we solve the gap equation beyond the Eliashberg approximation, and obtain the superconducting temperature $T_c$ as a function of $N$. Our results show a…
We study the competing charge-density-wave and superconducting order in the attractive Hubbard model under a voltage bias, using steady-state non-equilibrium dynamical mean-field theory. We show that the charge-density-wave is suppressed in a current-carrying non-equilibrium steady state. This effect is beyond a simple Joule-heating mechanism and a "supercooled" metallic state is stabilized at a non-equilibrium temperature lower than the equilibrium superconducting $T_c$. On the other hand, a current-carrying superconducting state is always in equilibrium. It is not subject to the same non-the…
It was recently demonstrated the possibility to tune, through the application of a control gate voltage, the superconducting properties of mesoscopic devices based on Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer metals. In spite of the several experimental evidence obtained on different materials and geometries, a description of the microscopic mechanism at the basis of such unconventional effect has not been provided yet. This work discusses the technological potential of gate control of superconductivity in metallic superconductors and revises the experimental results which provide information regarding a poss…
We present here, the effect of microstructure on the magnetic, electrical and thermal properties of (V$_{0.60}$Ti$_{0.40}$)-Gd alloys. The gadolinium is found to be immiscible and precipitates with a size $<$1.2~$μ$m in the (V$_{0.60}$Ti$_{0.40}$)-Gd alloys. These precipitates enhance the grain boundary density. The (V$_{0.60}$Ti$_{0.40}$)-Gd alloys become ferromagnetic below $T_{mc}$ = 295~K with an increase in the superconducting transition temperature ($T_{sc}$). Though the disorder increases with increasing Gd content, the electronic thermal conductivity ($κ_{e} (H = 0)$) reduces by at mos…
High-resolution thermal-expansion and specific-heat measurements were performed on single crystalline BaFe2(As1-xPx)2 (0 < x < 0.33, x = 1). The observation of clear anomalies allows to establish the thermodynamic phase diagram which features a small coexistence region of SDW and superconductivity with a steep rise of Tc on the underdoped side. Samples that undergo the tetragonal-orthorhombic structural transition are detwinned in situ, and the response of the sample length to the magneto-structural and superconducting transitions is studied for all three crystallographic directions. It is sho…
Multi-gap nodeless superconductivity in nickel chalcogenide TlNi2Se2
We study the effect of laser driving on a minimal model for a hexagonal two-dimensional material with broken inversion symmetry. Through the application of circularly polarised light and coupling to a thermal free electron bath, the system is driven into a nonequilibrium steady state with asymmetric, nonthermal carrier populations in the two valleys. We show that, in this steady state, interband superconducting correlations between electrons can develop independent of the sign of the electron-electron interactions. We discuss how our results apply, for example, to transition metal dichalcogeni…
