Based on quantum field theory at finite temperature we carried out new results for two-particle Bose-Einstein correlation (BEC) function ${C_2}(Q)$ in case of light hadrons. The important parameters of BEC function related to the size of the emitting source, mean multiplicity, stochastic forces range with the particle energy and mass dependence, and the temperature of the source are obtained for the first time. Not only the correlation between identical hadrons are explored but even the off-correlation between non-identical particles are proposed. The correlations of two bosons in 4-momentum space presented in this paper offer useful and instructive complimentary viewpoints to theoretical and experimental works in multiparticle femtoscopy and interferometry measurements at hadron colliders. This paper is the first one to the next opening series of works concerning the searching of BEC with experimental data where the parameters above mentioned will be retrieved.
CGC/saturation approach for high energy soft interactions: `soft' Pomeron structure and $v_{n}$ in hadron and nucleus collisions from Bose-Einstein correlation
In this paper we study the dependence of Bose-Einstein correlations on the multiplicity of an event. We found that events with large multiplicity, stem from the production of several parton showers, while the additional production of small multiplicity in the central rapidity region (central diffraction), gives a negligible contribution due to emission of soft gluons, that leads to the Sudakov suppression of the exclusive production of two gluon jets. Hence, the Bose-Einstein correlation is the main source of the azimuthal angle correlations which generates $v_n$ with odd and even $n$. We foun…
The possibility of formation of Bose-Einstein Condensation (BEC) is studied in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt s$ = 7 TeV at the Large Hadron Collider. A thermodynamically consistent non-extensive formulation of the identified hadron transverse momentum distributions is used to estimate the critical temperature required to form BEC of charged pions, which are the most abundant species in a multi-particle production process in hadronic and nuclear collisions. The obtained results have been contrasted with the systems produced in Pb-Pb collisions to have a better understanding. We observe an explicit …
A recent observation of a threshold momentum difference in the production of adjacent hadrons is implemented in the fragmentation model of a three-dimensional QCD string, with the aim to investigate the common origin of the azimuthal ordering of hadrons and of the correlations commonly attributed to the Bose-Einstein effect. The role of particle decays and their polarization in the measurement of two-particle correlations is evaluated. A comparison with the available data is presented and further measurements suggested. The impact of the hadronization on the long range angular correlations is …
Bose-Einstein correlations in proton-proton collisions at the LHC are well descried by the formula with two different scales. It is shown for the first time that the pions are produced by few small size sources distributed over a much larger area in impact parameter space occupied by the interaction amplitude. The dependence of the two radii obtained in this procedure on the charged particle density and the mean transverse momentum of the pion/hadron in the correlated pair are discussed.
Bose-Einstein correlations in proton-proton collisions is an effective tool to study the space structure of the production amplitude. Usually rather simple parametrization of particle-emission distribution function has been used - exponential or gaussian form. However if one consider a particle source as an expanding media the symmetric Levy distribution as the generalization exponential can be used. Then additional parameter - the index of stability - will appear. All parameters dependencies on the charged particle density and on the mean transverse momentum of the pion/hadron in the correlate…
We study correlations originating from the quantum nature of gluons in a hadronic wave function. Bose-Einstein correlation between identical particles lead to the enhancement in the number of pairs of gluons with the same quantum numbers and small relative momentum. We show that these preexisting correlations can be probed in Deep Inelastic Scattering experiments at high energy. Specifically, we consider diffractive dijet plus a third jet production. The azimuthal dependence displays a peak at the zero relative angle between the transverse momentum imbalance of the photon-going dijet and the t…
