Binding energies of three-body systems of the type ϕ+2N are estimated. Due to the strong attraction between ϕ-meson and nucleon, suggested in different approaches, bound states can appear in systems like ϕ+np (singlet and triplet) and ϕ+pp. This indicates the principal possibility of the formation of new nuclear clusters.
Three body effects are studied for both asymmetric nuclear matter and pure neutron matter to calculate the nuclear Equation of State . The Brueckner Hartree Fock approximation is used using CD Bonn B and Argonne V18 potentials. A two body density dependent Skyrme potential is added to reproduce the empirical saturation point. Good agreement is obtained in comparison with exact calculation including three body forces.
In the present work we are going to add a correction to the BHF potential calculation by introducing a two- body density dependent potential that acts as a three body interaction. Adding the result of this potential to the BHF potential would give us new saturation curves which coincide with the results obtained from the experiment. We compute the energy per particle versus density curves for symmetric nuclear matter, pure neutron matter and the symmetry energy using modern nucleon nucleon potentials like CD Bonn.

A method to visualize many-body correlations using the information of the full wave function is presented. The set of nucleon coordinates which maximizes the square of the wave function, that is, the most probable spatial configuration of nucleons, is visualized. The method is applied to Hartree-Fock (HF) and HF+BCS wave functions of $p$- and $sd$-shell $N=Z$ even-even nuclei to analyze the many-body correlations in those systems. It is found that there are $α$-cluster-like four-body correlations already at the HF level in some of the nuclei. The effects of pairing on the most probable configu…
Starting from general expressions of well-chosen symmetric nuclear matter quantities derived for both zero- and finite-range effective theories, we derive the contributions to the effective mass. We first show that, independently of the range, the two-body contribution is enough to describe correctly the saturation mechanism but gives an effective mass value around $m^*/m \simeq 0.4$. Then, we show that the full interaction (by instance, an effective two-body density-dependent term on top of the pure two-body term) is needed to reach the accepted value $m^*/m \simeq 0.7-0.8$.
Using separable potentials for $\bar{K}N-πΣ$ interaction, we investigated four-body kaonic nuclear systems such as $K^{-}ppn$ and $K^{-}K^{-}pp$, with the Faddeev AGS method in the momentum representation. The Faddeev calculations are based on the quasi-particle method and the method of the energy dependent pole expansion was used to obtain the separable representation for the integral kernels in the three- and four-body equations. Different types of $\bar{K}N-πΣ$ potentials based on phenomenological and chiral SU(3) approach are used and it was shown that the kaonic nuclear systems under cons…

Ab initio nuclear theory provides not only a microscopic framework for quantitative description of the nuclear many-body system, but also a foundation for deeper understanding of emergent collective correlations. A symplectic Sp(3,R)$\supset$U(3) dynamical symmetry is identified in ab initio predictions, from a no-core configuration interaction approach, and found to provide a qualitative understanding of the spectrum of 7Be. Low-lying states form an Elliott SU(3) spectrum, while an Sp(3,R) excitation gives rise to an excited rotational band with strong quadrupole connections to the ground sta…
