We develop a resonance chiral theory without any a priori limitation on the number of derivatives in the hadronic operators. Through an exhaustive analysis of the resonance lagrangian and by means of field redefinitions, we find that the number of independent operator contributing to the S -> pi pi decay amplitude is finite: there is only one single-trace operator (the cd term) and three multi-trace terms. The deep implication of this fact is that the ultraviolet divergences that appear in this amplitude at the loop level can only appear through these chiral invariant structures. Hence, a renormalization of these couplings renders the amplitude finite.
We develop a self-consistent $Spin(4,4)$-invariant model of the unification of gravity with weak $SU(2)$ gauge and Higgs fields in the visible and invisible sectors of our Universe. We consider a general case of the graviweak unification, including the higher-derivative super-renormalizable theory of gravity, which is a unitary, asymptotically-free and perturbatively consistent theory of the quantum gravity.
In this work we propose the Z -> gamma gamma decay as a process strictly forbidden in the standard model, suitable for the search of noncommutativity of coordinates at very short distances. We computed the Z -> gamma gamma partial width in the framework of the recently proposed one-loop renormalizable gauge sector of the noncommutative standard model. New experimental possibilities at LHC are analyzed and a firm bound to the scale of noncommutativity parameter is set around 1 TeV.
We revisit $A_4$ flavor symmetry for the lepton sector with minimal Higgs sector, namely just one $A_4-$triplet SU(2)-doublet scalar. To increase predictivity even further, we impose the constraint of renormalizability. A geometric interpretation of an $A_4-$triplet aids our understanding of tribimaximal mixing. To increase predictivity even further, we impose the constraint of renormalizability. We investigate the neutrino mass hierarchy in such a minimal $A_4$ model and find there are two solutions: one with $m_2 \gg m_1 = m_3$ is phenomenologically unacceptable; the other with $m_3 \gg m_1 …
We find an explicit renormalizable supersymmetric $E_6$ model with all the ingredients for being realistic. It consists of the Higgs sector $351'+\overline{351'}+27+\overline{27}$, which breaks $E_6$ directly to the Standard Model gauge group. Three copies of $27$ dimensional representations then describe the matter sector, while an extra $27+\overline{27}$ pair is needed to successfully split the Standard Model Higgs doublet from the heavy Higgs triplet. We perform the analysis of the vacuum structure and the Yukawa sector of this model, as well as compute contributions to proton decay. Also,…
We study the Higgs potential of the next-to-minimal renormalizable SUSY SO(10) GUT with 120 Higgs representation on top of the "standard" minimal model Higgs sector spanning over 10, 126bar+126 and 210. All the GUT-scale Higgs sector mass matrices for the 592 Higgs states of the model are written down in detail with all the conventions fully specified. The consistency of the results is checked by the decoupling of 120 and independently by the analysis of the relevant Goldstone modes. The matching of the Yukawa sector sum-rules driving the matter fermion masses and mixing at the level of the ef…
Inspired by the construction of the Gribov-Zwanziger action in the Landau gauge, we introduce a quark model exhibiting both confinement and chiral symmetry aspects. An important feature is the incorporation of spontaneous chiral symmetry breaking in a renormalizable fashion. The quark propagator in the condensed vacuum turns out to be of a confining type. Besides a real pole, it exhibits complex conjugate poles. The resulting spectral form is explicitly shown to violate positivity, indicative of its unphysical character. Moreover, the ensuing quark mass function fits well to existing lattice d…
A linear realization of a model of dynamical electroweak symmetry breaking describing additional heavy vector bosons is proposed. The model is a SU(2)_L x U(1) x SU(2)_L' x SU(2)_R' gauge theory, breaking at some high scale u to SU(2)_weak x U(1)_Y and breaking again in the standard way at the electroweak scale v to U(1)_(em). The model is renormalizable and reproduces the Standard Model in the limit u\to infinity. This decoupling property is shown to hold also at the level of radiative corrections by computing, in particular, the epsilon parameters.
We propose the Z -> gamma gamma decay, a process strictly forbidden in the standard model, as a signal suitable for the search of noncommutativity of coordinates at very short distances. We compute the Z -> gamma gamma partial widthin the framework of the recently proposed renormalizable gauge sector of the noncommutative standard model. The one-loop renormalizability is obtained for the model containing the usual six representations of matter fields of the first generation. Even more, the noncommutative part is finite or free of divergences, showing that perhaps new interaction symmetry exist…
We present a renormalizable model for fermion masses based solely on the double tetrahedral group T'. It does not include right handed neutrinos and majorana neutrino masses are generated radiatively. The scalar sector of the model involves three SU(2) doublets and a set of lepton number violating (charged) scalars needed to give mass to the neutrinos. In the quark sector the model leads to a Fritzsch type scenario that is consistent with all the existing data. In the lepton sector, the model leads to tribimaximal (and near tribimaximal) mixing, and an inverted mass hierarchy.
The lepton sector is studied within a flavored non-renormalizable model where the $\mathbf{S}_{3}\otimes \mathbf{Z}_{2}$ flavor symmetry drives the Yukawa couplings. In this framework, the effective neutrino mass, that comes from the type II see-saw mechanism, as well as the charged lepton mass matrices are hierarchical and possessed (under a benchmark in the charged sector) a kind of Fritzsch textures that achieve to accommodate the mixing angles in good agreement with the last experimental data. The model predicts a CP-violating phase consistent with the experimental data and the branching r…
We discuss the ordinary, non-supersymmetric SO(10) as a theory of fermion masses and mixings. We construct two minimal versions of the Yukawa sector based on $\bar{126}_H $ and either $10_H$ or $120_H$. The latter case is of particular interest since it connects the absolute neutrino mass scale with the size of the atmospheric mixing angle $θ_A$. It also relates the smallness of $V_{cb}$ with the largeness of $θ_A$. These results are based on the analytic study of the second and third generations. Furthermore, we discuss the structure of the light Higgs and the role of the Peccei-Quinn symmetr…
The renormalizable coloron model is the minimal extension of the standard model color sector, in which the color gauge group is enlarged to SU(3)_{1c} x SU(3)_{2c}. In this paper we discuss the constraints on this model derived from the requirements of vacuum stability, tree-level unitarity, electroweak precision measurements, and from LHC measurements of the properties of the observed Higgs-like scalar boson. The combination of these theoretical and experimental considerations strongly constrains the allowed parameter space. (Erratum appended, March 2014.)
The apparent breakdown of unitarity in low order perturbation theory is often is used to place bounds on the parameters of a theory. In this work we give an algorithm for approximately computing the next-to-leading order (NLO) perturbativity bounds on the quartic couplings of a renormalizable theory whose scalar sector is $ϕ^4$-like. By this we mean theories where either there are no cubic scalar interactions, or the cubic couplings are related to the quartic couplings through spontaneous symmetry breaking. The quantity that tests where perturbation theory breaks down itself can be written as …
We derive the finite one-loop counterterm required to restore the Ward Identities broken by the regularization scheme in chiral gauge theories. Our result is an analytic expression applicable to a wide class of regularizations satisfying a few general properties. We adopt the background field method, which ensures background gauge invariance in the quantized theory, and focus on renormalizable chiral theories with arbitrary gauge group and fermions in general representations. Our approach can be extended to theories involving scalars, such as the Standard Model, or to non-renormalizable theori…
The messenger sector of existing models of gauge-mediated supersymmetry breaking may be simplified by using a non-renormalizable superpotential term to couple the vector-like quark and lepton messenger fields to a chiral gauge-invariant of the supersymmetry-breaking sector. This eliminates the need for a fundamental singlet and for an additional gauge sector needed to generate appropriate expectation values for the singlet component fields. This scenario is more natural if the supersymmetry-breaking sector itself involves a non-renormalizable superpotential. Several examples are constructed ba…
The conditions for the absence of gauge anomalies in effective field theories (EFT) are rivisited. General results from the cohomology of the BRST operator do not prevent potential anomalies arising from the non-renormalizable sector, when the gauge group is not semi-simple, like in the Standard Model EFT (SMEFT). By considering a simple explicit model that mimics the SMEFT properties, we compute the anomaly in the regularized theory, including a complete set of dimension six operators. We show that the dependence of the anomaly on the non-renormalizable part can be removed by adding a local c…
We propose a simple gauge-mediated supersymmetry breaking model in which suitable soft breaking masses are dynamically generated without relying on a messenger sector. This model is constructed as an extention of the 3-2 model and needs no fine-tuning of parameters. The dynamical supersymmetry breaking sector contains non-renormalizable interactions and vector-like fields. Non-renormalizable terms are characterized by the couplings of O(1) in units of the Planck scale. The vacuum of this model conserves the color and electro-weak symmetry.
We establish the existence of static, classically-stable, winding solitons in renormalizable three-dimensional gauge models, with topologically trivial target space and vacuum manifold. They are prototypes for possible analogous particle-like excitations in the higgs sector of the standard electroweak theory.
In this talk we make an exhaustive analysis of the possible chiral invariant operators that may described the resonance decay S->pi pi. These provide at the same time the only available chiral invariant structures for the loop ultraviolet divergences in this amplitude. Independently of the order in perturbation theory, we find just one single-trace term (four if multi-trace operators are allowed), whose renormalization renders the matrix element finite.
The weak dipole moments of elementary fermions are calculated at the one-loop level in the framework of a renormalizable scalar leptoquark model that forbids baryon number violating processes and so is free from the strong constraints from experimental data. In this model there are two scalar leptoquarks accommodated in an $SU_L(2)\times U_Y(1)$ doublet: one of such leptoquarks is non-chiral and has electric charge of $5/3e$, whereas the other one is chiral and has electric charge $2/3e$. In particular, a non-chiral leptoquark contributes to the weak properties of an up fermion via a chirality…

The Kroll-Lee-Zumino renormalizable Abelian quantum field theory of pions and a massive rho-meson is used to calculate the scalar radius of the pion at next to leading (one loop) order in perturbation theory. Due to renormalizability, this determination involves no free parameters. The result is $<r^2_π>_s = 0.40 {fm}^2$. This value gives for $\bar{\ell}_4$, the low energy constant of chiral perturbation theory, $\bar{\ell}_4 = 3.4$, and $F_π/F = 1.05$, where F is the pion decay constant in the chiral limit. Given the level of accuracy in the masses and the $ρππ$ coupling, the only sizable unc…
In a previous paper we have shown how the Wilsonian renormalization group naturally leads to the equivalence of the standard QED with a matter-only theory. In this paper we give an improved explanation of the equivalence and discuss, as an example, the equivalence of a chiral QED in the Higgs phase with a matter-only theory. Ignoring the contributions suppressed by the negative powers of a UV cutoff, the matter-only theory is equivalent to the perturbatively renormalizable chiral QED with two complex Higgs fields. In the matter-only theory chiral anomaly arises without elementary gauge fields.
Dark matter (DM) that interacts too weakly with the Standard Model (SM) to reach full thermodynamic equilibrium can be still be created in significant amounts by rare SM collisions. This mechanism, called freeze-in, can proceed through a renormalizable connector operator with a very small coefficient, or a non-renormalizable connector operator suppressed by a large mass scale. In the latter non-renormalizable scenario, the dominant creation of DM particles typically occurs at the largest SM temperature attained during the radiation era (assuming a standard cosmological history), and for this r…
We use proper-time regularizations to define the one-loop fermion determinant in the form suggested by Gasser and Leutwyler some years ago. We show how to obtain the polynomial by which this definition of ln det D needs to be modified in order to arrive at the fermion determinant whose modulus is invarinat under chiral transformations. As an example it is shown how the fundamental symmetries associated with the NJL model are preserved in a consistent way.
We consider a generic renormalizable and gauge invariant messenger sector and derive the sparticle mass spectrum using the formalism introduced for General Gauge Mediation. Our results recover many expressions found in the literature in various limits. Constraining the messenger sector with a global symmetry under which the spurion field is charged, we analyze Extraordinary Gauge Mediation beyond the small SUSY breaking limit. Finally, we include D-term contributions and compute their corrections to the soft masses. This leads to a perturbative framework allowing to explore models capable of f…
We consider the most general renormalizable chiral Yukawa model with $SU(3)_{\rm color}$ replaced by $SU(N_c)$, $SU(2)_{\rm L}$ replaced by $SU(N_w )$ and $U(1)_{Y}$ replaced by $U(1)^{N_w -1}$ in the limit $N_c \rightarrow\infty$, $N_w \rightarrow\infty$ with the ratio $ρ=\sqrt{{N_w}\over{N_c}} \ne 0,\infty$ held fixed. Since for $N_w \ge 3$ only one renormalizable Yukawa coupling per family exists and there is no mixing between families the limit is appropriate for the description of the effects of a heavy top quark when all the other fermions are taken to be massless. The large $N=\sqrt{N_{…

We derive non-linear recursion relations for the leading chiral logarithms (LLs). These relations not only provide a very efficient method of computation of LLs (e.g. the 33-loop contribution is calculated in a dozen of seconds on a PC) but also equip us with a powerful tool for the summation of the LLs. Our method is not limited to the chiral perturbation theory only, it is pertinent for any non-renormalizable effective field theory such as, for instance, the theory of critical phenomena, the low-energy quantum gravity, etc.
We propose a new paradigm for generating exponentially spread standard model Yukawa couplings from a new $U(1)_F$ gauge symmetry in the dark sector. Chiral symmetry is spontaneously broken among dark fermions that obtain non-vanishing masses from a non-perturbative solution to the mass gap equation. The necessary ingredient for this mechanism to work is the existence of higher derivative terms in the dark $U(1)_F$ theory, or equivalently the existence of Lee-Wick ghosts, that (i) allow for a non-perturbative solution to the mass gap equation in the weak coupling regime of the Abelian theory; (…
Quenched SU(3) lattice gauge theory shows three phase transitions, namely the chiral, the deconfinement and the Z3 phase transition. Knowing whether or not the chiral and the deconfinement phase transition occur at the same temperature for all Z3 sectors could be crucial to understand the underlying microscopic dynamics. We use the existence of a gap in the Dirac spectrum as an order parameter for the restoration of chiral symmetry. We find that the spectral gap opens up at the same critical temperature in all Z3 sectors in contrast to earlier claims in the literature.
We suggest simple ways of implementing Peccei-Quinn (PQ) symmetry to solve the strong CP problem in renormalizable SUSY $SO(10)$ models with a minimal Yukawa sector. Realistic fermion mass generation requires that a second pair of Higgs doublets survive down to the PQ scale. We show how unification of gauge couplings can be achieved in this context. Higgsino mediated proton decay rate is strongly suppressed by a factor of $(M_{\rm PQ}/M_{\rm GUT})^2$, which enables all SUSY particles to have masses of order TeV. With TeV scale SUSY spectrum, $p \rightarrow \overlineν K^+$ decay rate is expecte…
We derive all the O(p^6) Chiral Perturbation Theory low-energy constants from a class of gravity dual models of QCD described by the Yang-Mills and Chern-Simons Lagrangian terms, with the chiral symmetry broken through boundary conditions in the infrared. All the constants of the odd intrinsic parity sector are universally determined by those at O(p^4) in the even sector, together with an extra resonance term. A few relations for the even sector couplings are also extracted. Our estimates reasonably agree with the few available O(p^6) determinations from alternative phenomenological analyses. …
We discuss the low-energy physics which arises on stacks of squashed brane solutions of $SU(N)$ ${\cal N}=4$ SYM, deformed by a cubic soft SUSY breaking potential. A brane configuration is found which leads to a low-energy physics similar to the standard model in the broken phase, assuming suitable VEV's of the scalar zero modes. Due to the triple self-intersection of the branes, the matter content includes that of the MSSM with precisely 3 generations and right-handed neutrinos. No exotic quantum numbers arise, however there are extra chiral superfields with the quantum numbers of the Higgs d…
{I construct a renormalizable $SU(2)^{89}\times U(1)$ gauge theory with standard-model-like phenomenology for the gauge bosons masses and the weak interactions of the light fermions (including the $b$) but in which all vacuum expectation values are about 2 TeV. This is a deconstructed version of a Higgsless model with a flat extra dimension. The fermions are delocalized on the theory space in an unusual way, with LH and RD fermions on alternate nodes.
We study the scalar and pseudoscalar sector in a five-dimenional model describing chiral symmetry breaking. We calculate the scalar and pseudoscalar two-point correlator, the mass spectrum and interactions. We also obtain the scalar and pseudoscalar contributions to the coefficients of the chiral lagrangian and determine the scalar form factor of the pseudo-Goldstone bosons. Most quantities show a good agreement with QCD.
Results obtained in recent years in the strange quark sector of chiral perturbation theory are reviewed and the theoretical relevance of this sector for probing the phase structure of QCD at zero temperature with respect to the variation of the number of massless quarks is emphasized.
We present a physically motivated parameterization of the chiral-odd generalized parton distributions. The parametrization is an extension of our previous one in the chiral-even sector which was based on the reggeized diquark model. While for chiral even generalized distributions a quantitative fit with uncertainty estimation can be performed using deep inelastic scattering data, nucleon electromagnetic, axial and pseudoscalar form factors measurements, and all available deeply virtual Compton scattering data, the chiral-odd sector is far less constrained. While awaiting the analysis of measur…
We study an effective field theory which includes the Standard Model extended by a Dark Sector consisting of two fermionic $SU(2)_{L}$-doublets. A $Z_2$ parity guarantees that, after electroweak symmetry breaking, the lightest neutral particle is stable, acting as a WIMP. The dark sector interacts with the Higgs and gauge bosons through renormalizable and non-renormalizable $d=5$ operators. We find that a WIMP with a mass around the electroweak scale, i.e. accessible at the LHC, is consistent with collider and astrophysical data only when non-trivial magnetic dipole interactions with the gauge…
Proton decay via d=5 operators is excluded by now not only in the framework of SUSY SU(5) but also its extensions like SUSY SO(10) are on the verge of being inconsistent with d=5 decays. It is reasonable therefore to suppress, e.g. by a symmetry, the d=5 operators and to consider gauge boson induced d=6 decays. This is suggested in several recent papers in the framework of models with a lighter $ M_X$. We discuss here explicitly the fermionic sector of such a renormalizable SUSY SO(10) with realistic mass matrices. We find that the recently ``observed'' large leptonic mixing leads to an enhanc…
The framework of the electroweak chiral Lagrangian with a light Higgs is extended by an additional scalar and then generalized to N scalars in the Higgs sector. Divergences from scalar fluctuations are renormalized up to one loop using the background field method. The results are crosschecked against the case of one scalar. A subset of the divergences is demonstrated and crosschecked diagrammatically. Together with the complete one-loop renormalization of the electroweak chiral theory with one light Higgs conducted previously, this constitutes a renormalization framework of any pure scalar ext…
We consider a generic abelian hidden sector that couples to the Standard Model only through gauge-invariant renormalizable operators. This allows the exotic Higgs boson to mix with the Standard Model Higgs boson, and the exotic abelian gauge boson to mix with the Standard Model hypercharge gauge boson. One immediate consequence of spontaneous breaking of the hidden sector gauge group is the possible decay of the lightest Higgs boson into four fermions through intermediate exotic gauge bosons. We study the implications of this decay for Higgs boson phenomenology at the Fermilab Tevatron Collide…
Within renormalizable theories the triangle diagram correctly reproduces the lifetime of the neutral pion $π^0$. However, effective relativistic quark models which contain a second scale besides the quark mass seem unable to give the correct value for this quantity. In the Instanton Liquid Model this second scale is the mean instanton radius, in the NJL model it is the cutoff. The role of the cutoff within a path integral derivation of the chiral anomaly is clarified and the importance of higher order terms contributing to the $π^0$ decay width and other anomalous processes is pointed out.
The present status of Chiral Perturbation Theory in the meson sector is discussed concentrating on recent developments. This write-up contains short discussions on a listing a few historical papers, the principles behind ChPT, two-flavour ChPT including some comments about the pion polarizability, three-flavour ChPT with a discussion of the recently found relations as tests of ChPT and preliminary results of a new fit of the NLO low-energy-constants (LECs). It discusses somewhat deeper $η\to3π$ and the arguments for the existence of a ``hard pion ChPT'' and its application to $K\to2π$.
We study chiral symmetry breaking using the quark gap equation supplemented with the infrared-finite gluon propagator and ghost dressing function obtained from large-volume lattice simulations. One of the most important ingredients of this analysis is the non-Abelian quark-gluon vertex, which displays a crucial dependence on the ghost dressing function and the quark-ghost scattering amplitude. The various theoretical ingredients necessary for this construction are reviewed in detail. As a result, we obtain a dynamical quark masses of the order of 300 MeV, which is used to compute phenomenologi…
We provide an introduction to the basic concepts of chiral perturbation theory and discuss some recent developments in the manifestly Lorentz-invariant formulation of the one-nucleon sector.
The accuracy of effective chiral lagrangians including vector-mesons as (hidden symmetry) gauge fields is shown to be improved by taking into account SU(3)-breaking in the vector-meson sector. The masses, $M_V$, and couplings to the photon field and pseudoscalar pairs, $f_{Vγ}$ and $g_{VPP}$, are all consistently described in terms of two parameters, which also fit the values for the pseudoscalar decay-constants, $f_P$, and charge radii, $<r^2_P>$. The description of the latter is further improved when working in the context of chiral perturbation theory.
A chiral quark model is described which is regularized in terms of Lorentz invariant non-local interactions. The model is regularized to all loop orders and it ensures the proper quantization of the baryon number. It sustains bound hedgehog solitons which, after suitable centre of mass corrections, can adequately describe the nucleon.
QCD sum rules serve as tools to investigate changing hadronic properties in a hot and/or dense nuclear medium. The role of chiral symmetry breaking and restoration effects in a medium can be addressed also in the heavy-light meson sector. Thus, we consider Weinberg sum rules which refer to chiral partner mesons composed of a light and a heavy quark.
We investigate unification constraints in the simplest renormalizable non-supersymmetric SU(5) framework. We show that in the scenario where the Higgs sector is composed of the 5, 24, and 45 dimensional representations the proton could be practically stable. We accordingly demonstrate that of all the SU(5) scenarios only the non-renormalizable one with the 5, 24, and 15 dimensional Higgs multiplets can be verify if low-energy supersymmetry is not realized in Nature.
The Standard Model has some intrinsic beauty in the sector of fermions and gauge bosons. Its scalar sector, though minimal, is however haunted by the hierarchy problem. The fermionic spectrum also have two major problems, the flavor problem with its fundamental notion about why there are three families, and the phenomenological limitation of massless neutrinos. We present here a completed chiral fermionic sector model, based on a little Higgs model, that has the plausible potential of addressing all these problems of the SM at an accessible energy scale, and comment briefly on its phenomenolog…
We study the simplest renormalizable scalar leptoquark models where the standard model is augmented only by one additional scalar representation of SU(3) x SU(2) x U(1). The requirement that there be no proton decay from renormalizable interactions singles out two such models, one of which exhibits an unusual top mass enhancement of the mu -> e gamma decay rate. We analyze the phenomenology of the model with the unusual top mass enhancement of loop level chirality changing charged lepton processes in the light of existing and upcoming experiments. Both of the models that do not allow proton de…
Chirality transfer between fermions and gauge fields plays a crucial role for understanding the dynamics of anomalous transport phenomena such as the Chiral Magnetic Effect. In this proceeding we present a first principles study of these processes based on classical-statistical real-time lattice simulations of strongly coupled QED $(e^2N_f=64)$. Our simulations demonstrate that a chirality imbalance in the fermion sector triggers chiral plasma instabilities in the gauge field sector, which ultimately lead to the generation of long range helical magnetic fields via a self-similar turbulent casc…
I give a very short introduction to Chiral Perturbation Theory and an overview of the next-to-next-to-leading order three-flavour calculations done. I discuss those relevant for an improvement in the accuracy of the measurement of $V_{us}$ in more detail. One major conclusion is that all needed $p^6$ low energy constants can be obtained from experiment via the scalar form-factor in $K_{\ell3}$ decays.
The implementation of the little Higgs mechanism to solve the hierarchy problem provides an interesting guiding principle to build particle physics models beyond the electroweak scale. Most model building works, however, pay not much attention to the fermionic sector. Through a case example, we illustrate how a complete and consistent fermionic sector of the TeV effective field theory may actually be largely dictated by the gauge structure of the model. The completed fermionic sector has specific flavor physics structure, and many phenomenological constraints on the model can thus be obtained …
We study the S-wave interaction of mesons with baryons in the strangeness S=0 sector in a coupled channel unitary approach. The basic dynamics is drawn from the lowest order meson baryon chiral Lagrangians. Small modifications inspired by models with explicit vector meson exchange in the t-channel are also considered. In addition the pi pi N channel is included and shown to have an important repercussion in the results, particularly in the isospin 3/2 sector.
A convergence of the valence quark self-energies in the 1S, 2S, $1P_{1/2}$, $1P_{3/2}$ orbits induced by pion and gluon field configurations, is shown in the frame of a relativistic chiral quark model. It is shown that in order to reach a convergence, one needs to include contribution of the intermediate quark and anti-quark states with the total momentum up to $j=25/2$. It is argued that a restriction to the lowest mode when estimating the self-energy is not good approximation.
