We describe a new 1+1 dimensional N=(2,2) vector multiplet that naturally couples to semi chiral superfields in the sense that the gauged supercovariant derivative algebra is only consistent with imposing covariantly semi chiral superfield constraints. It has the advantages that its prepotentials shift by semi chiral superfields under gauge transformations. We also see that the multiplet relates the chiral vector multiplet with the twisted chiral vector multiplet by reducing to either multiplet under appropriate limits without being reducible in terms of the chiral and twisted chiral vector multiplet. This is explained from the superspace geometrical point of view as the result of possessing a symmetry under the discrete supercoordinate transformation that is responsible for mirror copies of supermultiplets. We then describe how to gauge a non linear sigma model with semi chiral superfields using the prepotentials of the new multiplet.
We construct SU$(2|1)$, $d=1$ supersymmetric models based on the coupling of dynamical and semi-dynamical (spin) multiplets, where the interaction term of both multiplets is defined on the generalized chiral superspace. The dynamical multiplet is defined as a chiral multiplet ${\bf (2,4,2)}$, while the semi-dynamical multiplet is associated with a multiplet ${\bf (4,4,0)}$ of the mirror type.
We compare the spectrum of chiral multiplets in the N=1 vacua of the heterotic string on a Calabi-Yau together with an $E_8\times E_8$ vector bundle and F-theory on a smooth Calabi-Yau fourfold. Under suitable restrictions we show agreement using an index-computation.
We derive the action for chiral spinor multiplets coupled to vector and scalar multiplets. We give the component form of the action, which contains gauge invariant mass terms for the antisymmetric tensors in the spinor superfield and additional Green-Schwarz couplings to vector fields. We observe that supersymmetry provides mass terms for the scalars in the spinor multiplet which do not arise from eliminating an auxiliary field. We construct the dual action by explicitly performing the duality transformations in superspace and give its component form.
We derive the partition function of an $\mathcal N=2$ chiral multiplet on topologically twisted $H^2\times S^1$. The chiral multiplet is coupled to a background vector multiplet encoding a real mass deformation. We consider an $ H^2\times S^1$ metric containing two parameters: one is the $S^1$ radius, while the other gives a fugacity $q$ for the angular momentum on $H^2$. The computation is carried out by means of supersymmetric localization, which provides a finite answer written in terms of $q$-Pochammer symbols and multiple Zeta functions. Especially, the partition function of normalizable …
We derive a universal formula for the one-loop renormalization of the effective Kähler potential that applies to general supersymmetric effective field theories of chiral multiplets, with arbitrary interactions respecting N=1 supersymmetry in four dimensions. The resulting expression depends only on the tree-level mass spectrum and the form of the regulator. This formula simplifies and generalizes existing results in the literature. We include two examples to illustrate its use.
We give the superfield quantization of chiral/nonminimal (CNM) scalar multiplets defined by pairs of N=1 chiral and complex linear scalar superfields kinematically coupled. In the pure massive case we develop the covariant quantization when CNM multiplets are coupled to background gauge superfields. Furthermore, we study some properties of N=1 supersymmetric Yang--Mills theories constructed using CNM scalar matter superfields. In particular, we compute the one--loop contribution to the effective action for the matter superfields, we study the analogue of the Konishi anomaly and discuss some pr…
It has been proposed that gauge and Kaehler anomalies in four-dimensional type IIB orientifolds are cancelled by a generalized Green-Schwarz mechanism involving exchange of twisted RR-fields. We explain how this can be understood using the well-known duality between linear and chiral multiplets. We find that all the twisted fields associated to the N=1 sectors and some of the fields associated to the N=2 sectors reside in linear multiplets. But there are no linear multiplets associated to order-two twists. Only the linear multiplets contribute to anomaly cancellation. This suffices to cancel a…
Elaborating on previous work (hep-th/0605211, hep-th/0611247), we show how the linear and nonlinear chiral multiplets of N=4 supersymmetric mechanics with the off-shell content (2,4,2) can be obtained by gauging three distinct two-parameter isometries of the ``root'' (4,4,0) multiplet actions. In particular, two different gauge groups, one abelian and one non-abelian, lead, albeit in a disguised form in the second case, to the same (unique) nonlinear chiral multiplet. This provides an evidence that no other nonlinear chiral N=4 multiplets exist. General sigma model type actions are discussed, …
We compute the supersymmetric partition function of an $\mathcal{N}=1$ chiral multiplet coupled to an external Abelian gauge field on complex manifolds with $T^2 \times S^2$ topology. The result is locally holomorphic in the complex structure moduli of $T^2\times S^2$. This computation illustrates in a simple example some recently obtained constraints on the parameter dependence of supersymmetric partition functions. We also devise a simple method to compute the chiral multiplet partition function on any four-manifold $\mathcal{M}_4$ preserving two supercharges of opposite chiralities, via sup…
We study the multipoint super-correlation functions of the full non-chiral stress-tensor multiplet in N=4 super-Yang-Mills theory in the Born approximation. We derive effective supergraph Feynman rules for them. Surprisingly, the Feynman rules for the non-chiral correlators are obtained from those for the chiral correlators by a simple Grassmann shift of the space-time variables. We rely on the formulation of the theory in Lorentz harmonic chiral (LHC) superspace elaborated in the twin paper arXiv:1601.06803. In this approach only the chiral half of the supersymmetry is manifest. The other hal…
We study a supergauge transformation of a complex superfield which generates a chiral superfield in two-dimensional ${\cal N}=(2,2)$ theory. This complex superfield is referred to as the prepotential of the chiral superfield. Since there exist redundant component fields in the prepotential, we remove some of them by a gauge-fixing condition. This situation is parallel to that of a vector superfield. In order to obtain a suitable configuration of the GLSM for the exotic five-brane which gives rise to a nongeometric background, we impose a relatively relaxed gauge-fixing condition. It turns out …
An off-shell manifestly (8,0) worldsheet supersymmetric formulation of a multiplet describing physical chiral fermions is given. The multiplet can be used to complete the doubly supersymmetric (twistor-like) action for the heterotic string. Correction of technical errors.

We construct the states and symmetries of N = 4 super-Yang-Mills by tensoring two N = 1 chiral multiplets and introducing two extra SUSY generators. This allows us to write the maximal N = 8 supergravity as four copies of the chiral multiplet. We extend this to higher dimensions and discuss applications to scattering amplitudes.
The vacuum overlap formalism is extended to describe the supersymmetric multiplet of a Weyl fermion, a complex scalar boson and an auxiliary field in the case without interaction, based on the fact that supersymmetry can be maintained upto quadratic terms by introducing bosonic species doublers. We also obtain a local action which describes the chiral multiplet and discuss its symmetry structure. It is shown that, besides the manifest supersymmetry, the action possesses a chiral symmetry of the type given by Lüscher and analogous bosonic symmetries which may be regarded as independent infinite…
We study solutions of the Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equation for discrete representations of SU(2)_k at rational level k+2=p/q using a regular basis in which the braid matrices are well defined for all spins. We show that at spin J=(j+1)p-1 for half integer j there are always a subset of 2j+1 solutions closed under the action of the braid matrices. For integer j these fields have integer conformal dimension and all the 2j+1 solutions are monodromy free. The action of the braid matrices on these can be consistently accounted for by the existence of a multiplet of chiral fields with extra SU(2) qua…
An effective lagrangian analysis of gaugino condensation is performed in a supersymmetric gauge theory with field-dependent gauge couplings described with a linear multiplet. An original aspect of this effective lagrangian is the use of a real vector superfield to describe composite gauge invariant degrees of freedom. The duality equivalence of this approach with the more familiar formulation using a chiral superfield is demonstrated. These results strongly suggest that chiral-linear duality survives nonperturbative effects in superstrings.
We use the process of quantum hamiltonian reduction of SU(2)_k, at rational level k, to study explicitly the correlators of the h_{1,s} fields in the c_{p,q} models. We find from direct calculation of the correlators that we have the possibility of extra, chiral and non-chiral, multiplet structure in the h_{1,s} operators beyond the `minimal' sector. At the level of the vacuum null vector h_{1,2p-1}=(p-1)(q-1) we find that there can be two extra non-chiral fermionic fields. The extra indicial structure present here permeates throughout the entire theory. In particular we find we have a chiral …
We give a new method for computing the correlation functions of the chiral part of the stress-tensor supermultiplet that relies on the reformulation of N=4 SYM in twistor space. It yields the correlation functions in the Born approximation as a sum of Feynman diagrams on twistor space that involve only propagators and no integration vertices. We use this unusual feature of the twistor Feynman rules to compute the correlation functions in terms of simple building blocks which we identify as a new class of N=4 off-shell superconformal invariants. Making use of the duality between correlation fun…
The "long" indecomposable N=2, d=1 multiplet (2, 4, 2) defined in arXiv:1503.05537 [hep-th] as a deformation of the pair of chiral multiplets (2, 2, 0) and (0, 2, 2) by a number of the mass-dimension parameters is described in the superfield approach. We present its most general superfield and component actions, as well as a generalization to the case with the superfields of the opposite Grassmann parities and dimensionless deformation parameter. We show that the long N=2, d=1 multiplets are naturally embedded into the chiral SU(2|1), d=1 superfields having nonzero external spins with respect …
We study the vacuum structures of four-dimensional $\mathcal{N} = 1$ old minimal supergravity with higher derivative corrections. We find that $\mathcal{N} = 1$ supergravity with Riemann curvature square corrections and higher derivative matter chiral multiplets induces a non-trivial de Sitter vacuum, even in the absence of superpotentials. This vacuum generically breaks supersymmetry. We show that the auxiliary fields in the gravity and the chiral multiples play important roles to generate a potential in supersymmetric higher derivative theories.
We study supersymmetry breaking from a complex linear superfield coupled to 4D N=1 supergravity. The theory has two classically decoupled vacua, one supersymmetric and one with broken and intrinsically non-linear supersymmetry. Depending on the values of the parameters the scalar potential can lead to no-scale Minkwoski or a stable de Sitter or anti-de Sitter vacuum. We also provide a dual description of the system in terms of a nilpotent chiral superfield and a standard chiral coupled to supergravity.
We study d=2, N=(2,2) non-linear sigma-models in (2,2) superspace. By analyzing the most general constraints on a superfield, we show that through an appropriate choice of coordinates, there are no other superfields than chiral, twisted chiral and semi-chiral ones. We study the resulting sigma-models and we speculate on the possibility that all (2,2) non-linear sigma-models can be described using these fields. We apply the results to two examples: the SU(2) x U(1) and the SU(2) x SU(2) WZW model. Pending upon the choice of complex structures, the former can be described in terms of either one …
We revisit and clarify the supersymmetric versions of $R+ R^2$ gravity, in view of the renewed interest to these models in cosmology. We emphasize that the content of the dual standard supergravity theory in the old minimal formulation necessarily includes two massive chiral multiplets, that we call the inflaton and the goldstino. We point out that the presence of these multiplets is model independent in the old minimal formulation and therefore any theory that contains a single chiral multiplet fails to be a supersymmetric generalization of the $R+R^2$ gravity. The supergravity interactions o…
It is shown that the one-loop quadratic divergences of standard supergravity can be regulated by the introduction of heavy Pauli-Villars fields belonging to chiral and abelian gauge multiplets. The resulting one-loop correction can be interpreted as a renormalization of the Kähler potential. Regularization of the dilaton couplings to the Yang-Mills sector requires special care, and may shed some light on chiral/linear multiplet duality of the dilaton supermultiplet.
Supersymmetry is studied in 2+1 dimensions. In addition to the multiplets corresponding to those in 3+1 dimensions the Clifford algebra allows an extra set. When the extra chiral multiplet is included, formulating supersymmetric QED3 in the manner of Wess and Zumino yields a lagrangian with a richer 'chiral' symmetry than that derived from supersymmetric QED by dimensional reduction.
In this article we derive the unitary transformation that relates the $q\bar q$ chiral basis $\{R; I J^{PC} \}$ to the $\{I; ^{2S+1}L_J\}$-basis in a front-form framework. From the most general expression for the Clebsch-Gordan coefficients of the Poincaré group one can see that the chiral limit brings the angular momentum coupling into a simple form that permits the relation in terms of SU(2) Clebsch-Gordan coefficients. We demonstrate that such a transformation is identical to the one was obtained for canonical spin in the instant form.
We show that the half-maximal SU(2) gauged supergravity with topological mass term admits coupling of an arbitrary number of n vector multiplets. The chiral circle reduction of the ungauged theory in the dual 2-form formulation gives N=(1,0) supergravity in 6D coupled to 3p scalars that parametrize the coset SO(p,3)/SO(p)x SO(3), a dilaton and (p+3) axions with p < n+1. Demanding that R-symmetry gauging survives in 6D is shown to put severe restrictions on the 7D model, in particular requiring noncompact gaugings. We find that the SO(2,2) and SO(3,1) gauged 7D supergravities give a U(1)_R, and…
The vacuum of supersymmetric gauge theories (SQCD) with N=2 softly broken to N=1 resembles that of a BCS superconductor in that it has a condensate which collimates flux into vortices, leading to confinement. We embed the SQCD vortex into the BCS theory by identifying the N=1 vector multiplet mass and lightest massive chiral multiplet mass with the Fermi velocity divided by the London penetration depth and coherence length respectively. Thus embedded the superconductivity is type I and so the vortex core is smaller than the coherence length. Therefore nonlocal effects (Pippard electrodynamics)…
The bosonic parts of D3-brane actions in AdS(5) backgrounds are known to have symmetries which are field-dependent extensions of conformal transformations of the worldvolume coordinates. Using the coset space SU(2,2|1)/SO(4,1), we apply the method of nonlinear realizations to construct a four-dimensional N = 1 off-shell supersymmetric action which has a generalized field-dependent superconformal invariance. The Goldstone fields for broken scale, chiral and S-supersymmetry transformations form a chiral supermultiplet.
In this note we prove a non-renormalization theorem for the 3-point functions of 1/2 BPS primaries in the four-dimensional N = 4 SYM and chiral primaries in two dimensional N =(4,4) SCFTs. Our proof is rather elementary: it is based on Ward identities and the structure of the short multiplets of the superconformal algebra and it does not rely on superspace techniques. We also discuss some possible generalizations to less supersymmetric multiplets.
The conformal partial wave analysis of four point functions of half BPS operators belonging to the SU(4) [0,p,0] representation is undertaken for p=2,3,4. Using the results of N=4 superconformal Ward identities the contributions from protected short and semi-short multiplets are identified in terms of the free field theory. In the large N limit contributions corresponding to long multiplets with twist up to 2p-2 are absent. The anomalous dimensions for twist two singlet multiplets are found to order g^4 and agree with other perturbative calculations. Results for twist four and six are also fou…
In this note, we construct new representations of D=2, N=4 supersymmetry which do not involve chiral or twisted chiral multiplets. These multiplets may make it possible to circumvent no-go theorems about N=4 superspace formulations of WZWN-models.
We propose new interactions of a (massive) vector multiplet with chiral multiplets and (D-type) spontaneously broken supersymmetry in four-dimensional N=1 supergravity, due to the generalized Fayet-Iliopoulos (FI) terms. Our actions are invariant under linearly realized off-shell supersymmetry and Kaehler-Weyl transformations. We compute the scalar potentials and pinpoint some physical restrictions arising in this approach.
We derive the action for a massive tensor multiplet coupled to chiral and vector multiplets as it can appear in orientifold compactifications of type IIB string theory. We compute the potential of the theory and show its consistency with the corresponding Kaluza-Klein reduction of N=1 orientifold compactifications. The potential contains an explicit mass term for the scalar in the tensor multiplet which does not arise from eliminating an auxiliary field. A dual action with an additional massive vector multiplet is derived at the level of superfields.
Using the off-shell formulation for general N = 2 supergravity-matter systems developed in arXiv:0905.0063, we propose a construction to generate a restricted chiral superfield from any real weight-zero projective multiplet L. One can choose L to be composed of tensor multiplets, O(2n) multiplets, with n=2,3,..., and polar hypermultiplets. In conjunction with the standard procedure to induce a N = 2 linear multiplet from any chiral weight-one scalar, we obtain a powerful mechanism to generate higher-derivative couplings in supergravity. In the case that L is a homogeneous function of n tensor …
The flavor vortex operator $V_α$ is a local disorder operator defined by coupling a two-dimensional $\mathcal{N}=(2,2)$ chiral multiplet to a non-dynamical gauge field with vortex singularity of holonomy $2πα$. We show that it is related to the mirror-dual twisted chiral multiplet, with bottom component $y$, as $V_α=e^{-αy}$.
We propose that the three-dimensional N=2 SU(2) Chern-Simons theory at level 1 coupled to an adjoint chiral multiplet with no superpotential is equivalent to the free field theory consisting of a single massless N=2 chiral multiplet. In particular, we show that the two theories have the identical "Z-function" and identical superconformal index.
We study supersymmetry breaking in theories with non-minimal multiplets (such as the complex linear or CNM multiplets), by using superspace higher derivative terms which give rise to new supersymmetry breaking vacuum solutions on top of the standard supersymmetric vacuum. We illustrate the decoupling of the additional massive sectors inside the complex linear and the CNM multiplets and show that only the Goldstino sector is left in the low energy limit. We also discuss the duality between non-minimal scalar multiplets and chiral multiplets in the presence of superspace higher derivatives. From…
In both ${\cal N}=1$ and ${\cal N}=2$ supersymmetry, it is known that $\mathsf{Sp}(2n, {\mathbb R})$ is the maximal duality group of $n$ vector multiplets coupled to chiral scalar multiplets $τ(x,θ) $ that parametrise the Hermitian symmetric space $\mathsf{Sp}(2n, {\mathbb R})/ \mathsf{U}(n)$. If the coupling to $τ$ is introduced for $n$ superconformal gauge multiplets in a supergravity background, the action is also invariant under super-Weyl transformations. Computing the path integral over the gauge prepotentials in curved superspace leads to an effective action $Γ[τ, \bar τ]$ with the foll…
By an explicit construction, it is shown that the geometry of the SU(3) pion multiplet with respect to the group manifold SU_L(3) x SU_R(3) maybe deformed to admit a second pseudoscalar multiplet that is analogous to the Z_0 in unified theories of the electroweak interactions. This observation is found to play a key role in the construction of the N = 1 supersymmetric models with pions and Dirac-like spin-1/2 superpartners ("pionini").
We consider some long multiplets describing bulk massive excitations of M-theory two-branes and IIB string three-branes which correspond to ``non chiral'' primary operators of the boundary OSp(8/4) and SU(2,2/4) superconformal field theories. Examples of such multiplets are the ``radial'' modes on the branes, including up to spin 4 excitations, which may be then considered as prototypes of states which are not described by the K-K spectrum of the corresponding supergravity theories on AdS_4 x S_7 and AdS_5 x S_5 respectively.
A new type of supersymmetric twistors is proposed and they are called $θ$-twistors versus the supertwistors. The $θ$-twistor is a triple of spinors including the spinor superspace coordinate $θ$ instead of the Grassmannian scalar in the supertwistor triple. The superspace of the $θ$-twistors is closed under the superconformal group transformations except the (super)conformal boosts. Using the $θ$-twistors in physics preserves the auxiliary field F in the chiral (0,1/2) supermultiplet contrarily to the supertwistor description. Moreover, it yields an infinite chain of higher spin chiral supermu…
We study BPS domain walls of N=1 supergravity coupled to a chiral multiplet and their Lorentz invariant vacua which can be viewed as critical points of BPS equations and the scalar potential. Supersymmetry further implies that gradient flows of BPS equations controlled by a holomorphic superpotential and the Kaehler geometry are unstable near local maximum of the scalar potential, whereas they are stable around local minimum and saddles of the scalar potential. However, the analysis using RG flows shows that such gradient flows do not always exist particularly in infrared region.
We extend Witten's discussion of actions related to the Landau-Ginzburg description of Calabi-Yau hypersurfaces in weighted projective spaces to cover the mirror class of models that include twisted chiral matter multiplets and a newly discovered 2D, N = 2 twisted vector multiplet. Certain integrability obstructions are observed that constrain the most general constructions containing both matter and twisted matter simultaneously. It is conjectured that knot invariants will ultimately play a role in describing the most general such model.
We work out the factorization of the 3d superconformal index for N = 2 $U(N_c)$ gauge theory withone adjoint chiral multiplet as well as $N_f$ fundamental, $N_a$ anti-fundamental chiral multiplets. Using the factorization, one can prove the Seiberg-like duality for N = 4 $U(N_c)$ theory with $N_f$ hypermultiplets at the index level. We explicitlyshow that monopole operators violating unitarity bound in a bad theory are mapped to free hypermultiplets in the dual side. For N = 2 $U(N_c)$ theory with one adjoint matter $X$, $N_f$ fundamental, $N_a$ anti-fundamental chiral multiplets with superpote…
We compute in superspace the one-loop beta-function for the nonlinear sigma-model defined in terms of the nonminimal scalar multiplet. The recently proposed quantization of this complex linear superfield, viewed as the field strength of an unconstrained gauge spinor superfield, allows to handle efficiently the infinite tower of ghosts via the Batalin-Vilkovisky formalism. We find that the classical duality of the nonminimal scalar and chiral multiplets is maintained at the quantum one-loop level.
We derive the general supertrace formula for a system with $N$ chiral superfields and one nilpotent chiral superfield in global and local supersymmetry. The nilpotent multiplet is realized by taking the scalar-decoupling limit of a chiral superfield breaking supersymmetry spontaneously. As we show, however, the modified formula is not simply related to the scalar-decoupling limit of the supertrace in linearly-realized supersymmetry. We also show that the supertrace formula reduces to that of a linearly realized supersymmetric theory with a decoupled sGoldstino if the Goldstino is the fermion i…
We study the theory of a single fundamental fermion and boson coupled to Chern-Simons theory at leading order in the large $N$ limit. Utilizing recent progress in understanding the Higgsed phase in Chern-Simons-Matter theories, we compute the quantum effective potential that is exact to all orders in the 't Hooft coupling for the lightest scalar operator of this theory at finite temperature. Specializing to the zero temperature limit we use this potential to determine the phase diagram of the large $N$ ${\cal N}=2$ supersymmetric theory with this field content. This intricate two dimensional p…
We define SU(2|1) supermultiplets described by chiral superfields having non-zero external spins with respect to SU(2) \subset SU(2|1) and show that their splitting into N=2, d=1 multiplets contains the so called "long" indecomposable N=2, d=1 multiplets (2, 4, 2)_l. We give superfield formulation for this type of N=2 long multiplets and construct their most general superfield action. A simple example of long N=4, d=1 multiplet is also considered, both in the superfield and the component formulations.
Possible short and semi-short representations for $\N=2$ and $\N=4$ superconformal symmetry in four dimensions are discussed. For $\N=4$ the well known short supermultiplets whose lowest dimension conformal primary operators correspond to $\half$-BPS or ${1\over 4}$-BPS states and are scalar fields belonging to the $SU(4)_r$ symmetry representations $[0,p,0]$ and $[q,p,q]$ and having scale dimension $Δ=p$ and $Δ= 2q+p$ respectively are recovered. The representation content of semi-short multiplets, which arise at the unitarity threshold for long multiplets, is discussed. It is shown how, at th…
We study a chiral N=1, U(N) field theory in the context of the Dijkgraaf-Vafa correspondence. Our model contains one adjoint, one conjugate symmetric and one antisymmetric chiral multiplet, as well as eight fundamentals. We compute the generalized Konishi anomalies and compare the chiral ring relations they induce with the loop equations of the (intrinsically holomorphic) matrix model defined by the tree-level superpotential of the field theory. Surprisingly, we find that the matrix model is well-defined only if the number of flavors equals two! Despite this mismatch, we show that the 1/N expa…
We propose an algebraic lattice supersymmetry formulation which has an exact supersymmetry on the lattice. We show how lattice version of chiral conditions can be imposed to satisfy an exact lattice supersymmetry algebra. The species doublers of chiral fermions and the corresponding bosonic counterparts can be accommodated to fit into chiral supermultiplets of lattice supersymmetry and thus lattice chiral fermion problem does not appear. We explicitly show how N=2 Wess-Zumino model in one and two dimensions can be formulated to keep exact supersymmetry for all super charges on the lattice. The…
In this note, we establish the formulation of 6D, N=1 hypermultiplets in terms of 4D chiral-nonminimal (CNM) scalar multiplets. The coupling of these to 6D, N=1 Yang-Mills multiplets is described. A 6D, N=1 projective superspace formulation is given in which the above multiplets naturally emerge. The covariant superspace quantization of these multiplets is studied in details.
We present an attempt to formulate the supersymmetric and relativistic quantum mechanics in the sense of realizing supersymmetry on the single particle level, by utilizing the equations of motion which is equivalent to the ordinary 2nd quantization of the chiral multiplet. The matrix formulation is used to express the operators such as supersymmtry generators and fields of the chiral multiplets. We realize supersymmetry prior to filling the Dirac sea.
In analogy to the chiral-linear multiplet correspondence we establish a relationship between the 3-form (or gaugino condensate) multiplet and a coupled non-minimal (0,1/2) multiplet, illustrated by a simple explicit example.
