We have constructed the coherent state of $U(N,1)$, which is an extension of the Barut-Girardello (BG) coherent state of $SU(1,1)$, in our previous paper. However there is a restriction that the eigenvalue of the Casimir operator is natural number. In this paper we construct the coherent state in the analytic representation to overcome this restriction. Next we show that the measure of the BG coherent state is not the symplectic induced measure.
We extend the Barut-Girardello coherent state for the representation of $SU(1,1)$ to the coherent state for a representation of $U(N,1)$ and construct the measure. We also construct a path integral formula for some Hamiltonian.
Overcomplete families of states of the type of Barut-Girardello coherent states (BG CS) are constructed for noncompact algebras $u(p,q)$ and $sp(N,C)$ in quadratic bosonic representation. The $sp(N,C)$ BG CS are obtained in the form of multimode ordinary Schrödinger cat states. A set of such macroscopic superpositions is pointed out which is overcomplete in the whole $N$ mode Hilbert space (while the associated $sp(N,C)$ representation is reducible). The multimode squared amplitude Schrödinger cat states are introduced as macroscopic superpositions of the obtained $sp(N,C)$ BG CS.}
Using ladder operators for the non-linear oscillator with position-dependent effective mass, realization of the dynamic group SU(1,1) is presented. Keeping in view the algebraic structure of the non-linear oscillator, coherent states are constructed using Barut-Girardello formalism and their basic properties are discussed. Furthermore, the statistical properties of these states are investigated by means of Mandel parameter and second order correlation function. Moreover, it is shown that in the harmonic limit, all the results obtained for the non-linear oscillator with spatially varying mass r…
In this paper we try to introduce the ladder operators associated with the pseudoharmonic oscillator, after solving the corresponding Schrödinger equation by using the factorization method. The obtained generalized raising and lowering operators naturally lead us to the Dirac representation space of the system which is very easier to work with, in comparison to the functional Hilbert space. The SU(1,1) dynamical symmetry group associated with the considered system is exactly established through investigating the fact that the deduced operators satisfy appropriate commutation relations. This re…
This paper concerns the construction of $su(r+1)$ Barut--Girardello coherent states in term of generalized Grassmann variables. We first introduce a generalized Weyl-Heisenberg algebra ${\cal A}(r)$ ($r \geq 1$) generated by $r$ pairs of creation and annihilation operators. This algebra provides a useful framework to describe qubit and qukit ($k$-level) systems. It includes the usual Weyl-Heisenberg and $su(2)$ algebras. We investigate the corresponding Fock representation space. The generalized Grassmann variables are introduced as variables spanning the Fock--Bargmann space associated with t…
We construct the Barut-Girardello coherent states for charge carriers in anisotropic 2D-Dirac materials immersed in a constant homogeneous magnetic field which is orthogonal to the sample surface. For that purpose, we solve the anisotropic Dirac equation and identify the appropriate arising and lowering operators. Working in a Landau-like gauge, we explicitly construct nonlinear coherent states as eigenstates of a generalized annihilation operator with complex eigenvalues which depends on an arbitrary function $f$ of the number operator. In order to describe the anisotropy effects on these sta…
The Barut-Girardello coherent states (BG CS) representation is extended to the noncompact algebras u(p,q) and sp(N,R) in (reducible) quadratic boson realizations. The sp(N,R) BG CS take the form of multimode ordinary Schrödinger cat states. Macroscopic superpositions of 2^{n-1} sp(N,R) CS (2^n canonical CS, n=1,2,...) are pointed out which are overcomplete in the N-mode Hilbert space and the relation between the canonical CS and the u(p,q) BG-type CS representations is established. The sets of u(p,q) and sp(N,R) BG CS and their discrete superpositions contain many states studied in quantum opt…
It is the aim of this paper to show how to construct Perelomov and Barut-Girardello coherent states for a polynomial Weyl-Heisenberg algebra. This algebra depends on r parameters. For some special values of the parameter corresponding to r = 1, the algebra covers the cases of the su(1,1) algebra, the su(2) algebra and the ordinary Weyl-Heisenberg or oscillator algebra. For r arbitrary, the generalized Weyl-Heisenberg algebra admits finite or infinite-dimensional representations depending on the values of the parameters. Coherent states of the Perelomov type are derived in finite and infinite d…
Darboux transformation of both Barut-Girardello and Perelomov coherent states for the time-dependent singular oscillator is studied. In both cases the measure that realizes the resolution of the identity operator in terms of coherent states is found and corresponding holomorphic representation is constructed. For the particular case of a free particle moving with a fixed value of the angular momentum equal to two it is shown that Barut-Giriardello coherent states are more localized at the initial time moment while the Perelomov coherent states are more stable with respect to time evolution. It…
The most general displaced number states, based on the bosonic and an irreducible representation(IREP) of the Lie algebra symmetry of su(1, 1) and associated to the Calogero-Sutherland model are introduced. Here, we utilize the Barut-Girardello displacement operator instead of the Klauder- Perelomov counterpart, to construct new kind of the displaced number states which can be classified in nonlinear coherent states regime, too, with special nonlinearity functions. They depend on two parameters, and can be converted into the well known Barut-Girardello coherent and number states respectively, …
We are continuing here the study of generalized coherent states of Barut-Girardello type for the oscillator-like systems connected with the given set of orthogonal polynomials. In this work we construct the family of coherent states associated with discrete $q$-Hermite polynomials of the II-type and prove the over-completeness of this family of states by constructing the measure for unity decomposition for this family of coherent states.
The aim of this article is to construct à la Perelomov and à la Barut-Girardello coherent states for a polynomial Weyl-Heisenberg algebra. This generalized Weyl-Heisenberg algebra, noted A(x), depends on r real parameters and is an extension of the one-parameter algebra introduced in Daoud M and Kibler MR 2010 J. Phys. A: Math. Theor. 43 115303 which covers the cases of the su(1,1) algebra (for x > 0), the su(2) algebra (for x < 0) and the h(4) ordinary Weyl-Heisenberg algebra (for x = 0). For finite-dimensional representations of A(x) and A(x,s), where A(x,s) is a truncation of order s of A(x…
In this paper we define a non-unitary displacement operator, which by acting on the vacuum state of the pseudo harmonic oscillator (PHO), generates new class of generalized coherent states (GCSs). An interesting feature of this approach is that, contrary to the Klauder-Perelomov and Barut-Girardello approaches, it does not require the existence of dynamical symmetries associated with the system under consideration. These states admit a resolution of the identity through positive definite measures on the complex plane. We have shown that the realization of these states for different values of t…
In the paper, a pair of dual operators is introduced with which a dual pair of generalized displacement operators is constructed. With these entities it is shown that the Barut - Girardello and Klauder - Perelomov generalized coherent states are dual states. The characteristics of these coherent states are constructed, separately and comparatively.
Various aspects of coherent states of nonlinear $su(2)$ and $su(1,1)$ algebras are studied. It is shown that the nonlinear $su(1,1)$ Barut-Girardello and Perelomov coherent states are related by a Laplace transform. We then concentrate on the derivation and analysis of the statistical and geometrical properties of these states. The Berry's phase for the nonlinear coherent states is also derived.
In this work, we generate a family of quantum potentials that are non-rational extensions of the harmonic oscillator. Such a family can be obtained via two different but equivalent supersymmetric transformations. We construct ladder operators for these extensions as the product of the intertwining operators of both transformations. Then, we generate families of Barut-Girardello coherent states and analyze some of their properties as temporal stability, continuity on the label, and completeness relation. Moreover, we calculate mean-energy values, time-dependent probability densities, Wigner fun…
