We present a path-integral formulation of 't Hooft's derivation of quantum from classical physics. The crucial ingredient of this formulation is Gozzi et al.'s supersymmetric path integral of classical mechanics. We quantize explicitly two simple classical systems: the planar mathematical pendulum and the Roessler dynamical system.

Path integral approach to the quantum fidelity amplitude

The Loschmidt echo is a measure of quantum irreversibility and is determined by the fidelity amplitude of an imperfect time-reversal protocol. Fidelity amplitude plays an important role both in the foundations of quantum mechanics and its applications, such as time-resolved electronic spectroscopy. Path-Integral Derivation of the Non-relativistic Scale Anomaly

In this paper we calculate the scale anomaly for a quantum field theoretic 2D-nonrelativistic Bose gas with contact interactions using Fujikawa's method, both in vacuum and in many-body systems. The use of path integrals for these problems is novel and motivated by a recently developed path-integral framework for addressing questions about scaling in these systems. A natural class of regulators is found that produces the correct value of the anomaly traditionally calculated via other methods, e.g., diagrammatically via the beta function.

On the quantum mechanical derivation of the Wallis formula for $π$

We comment on the Friedmann and Hagen's quantum mechanical derivation of the Wallis formula for $π$. In particular, we demonstrate that not only the Gaussian trial function, used by Friedmann and Hagen, but also the Lorentz trial function can be used to get the Wallis formula. The anatomy of the integrals leading to the appearance of the Wallis ratio is carefully revealed.
