The steady state entanglement of two atoms is also investigated. A stochastic-resonance-like behavior of entanglement is revealed. Finally, the Bell violation between atoms is discussed.

We study the evolution of quantum entanglement in double cavity systems. The entanglement of cavity atoms induced by entangled pair of photons is investigated. Both entanglement sudden death and entanglement sudden birth phenomena are shown to be existed and analyzed in detail. We also propose a strategy to enhance the entanglement between the atom in one cavity and the photon in another cavity by using quantum Zeno effect.

We study a special two-atom entanglement case in assumed Cavity QED experiment in which only one atom effectively exchanges a single photon with a cavity mode. We compute diatom entanglement under position-dependent atomic resonant dipole-dipole interaction (RDDI) for large interatomic separation limit. We show that the RDDI, even which is much smaller than the maximal atomic Rabi frequency, can induce distinct diatom entanglement. The peak entanglement (PE) reaches a maximum when RDDI strength can compare with the Rabi frequency of an atom.
We investigate a two-level atom coupled to a cavity with a strong classical driving field in a dissipative environment and find an analytical expression of the time evolution density matrix for the system. We propose how to achieve significantly enhanced quantum refrigeration and entanglement by coupling a pumped auxiliary cavity to an optomechanical cavity. We obtain both analytical and numerical results, and find optimal-refrigeration and -entanglement conditions under the auxiliary-cavity-assisted (ACA) mechanism. We present a proposal to produce bipartite and tripartite entanglement in a hybrid magnon-cavity QED system. We analyze the entanglement evolution of two cavity photons being affected by the dissipation of two individual reservoirs. Under an arbitrary local unitary operation on the initial state, it is shown that there is only one parameter which changes the entanglement dynamics. The system reaches a steady pure state when driven very weakly. Under these conditions, there is an optimal value for atom-field coupling to maximize entanglement, as larger coupling favors a loss port due to the cavity enhanced spontaneous emission. We study the entanglement dynamics of strongly driven atoms off-resonantly coupled with cavity fields. We consider conditions characterized not only by the atom-field coupling but also by the atom-field detuning. By studying two different models within the framework of cavity QED, we show that the so-called atomic entanglement sudden death (ESD) always occurs if the atom-field coupling lager than the atom-field detuning, and is independent of the type of initial atomic state.

We provide an exact and complete characterization of the entanglement dynamics of two qubits coupled to a common structured reservoir at zero temperature. By measuring the amplitude of a field transmitted through the cavity, an entangled spin-singlet state can be established probabilistically. Both fundamental limitations and practical measurement schemes are discussed, and the influence of dissipative processes and inhomogeneities in the qubits are analyzed. The measurement-based protocol provides criteria for selecting states with an infidelity scaling linearly with the qubit-decoherence rate.

We investigate a hybrid optomechanical system comprised of a mechanical oscillator and an atomic 3-level ensemble within an optical cavity. We show that a suitably tailored cavity field response via Electromagnetically Induced Transparency (EIT) in the atomic medium allows for strong coupling of the mechanical mirror oscillations to the collective atomic ground-state spin. This facilitates ground-state cooling of the mirror motion, quantum state mapping and robust atom-mirror entanglement even for cavity widths larger than the mechanical oscillator frequency.
We show how stationary entanglement between an optical cavity field mode and a macroscopic vibrating mirror can be generated by means of radiation pressure. We also show how the generated optomechanical entanglement can be quantified and we suggest an experimental readout-scheme to fully characterize the entangled state. The entanglement of excitonic states in a system of $N$ spatially separated semiconductor microcrystallites is investigated. The interaction among the different microcrystallites is mediated by a single-mode cavity field. It is found that the symmetric sharing of the entanglement (measured by the concurrence) between any pair of the excitonic state with $N$ qubits defined by the number states (vacuum and a single-exciton states) or the coherent states (odd and even coherent states) can be prepared by the cavity field for this system.

We demonstrate precise control of the coupling of each of two trapped ions to the mode of an optical resonator. When both ions are coupled with near-maximum strength, we generate ion--ion entanglement heralded by the detection of two orthogonally polarized cavity photons. The entanglement fidelity with respect to the Bell state $Ψ^+$ reaches $F \geq (91.9\pm2.5)%$. We propose a method to enhance bipartite and tripartite entanglement in cavity magnomechanics using an optical parametric amplifier (OPA). We analyze this system and identified parametric regimes where different types of entanglement are enhanced. We show that a proper choice of the phase of the parametric amplifier leads to the enhancement of the bipartite entanglements. Moreover, the tripartite entanglement is also significantly enhanced in the presence of OPA. We study transport properties of two entangled photons which are initially injected into two nearest-neighbor coupling cavities in a one-dimensional coupled-cavity array (CCA). It is found that photonic transport dynamics in the two-photon CCA exhibits entanglement-enhanced two-photon delocalization (TPD) phenomenon. It is shown that the CCA can realize the localization-to-delocalization transition for two entangled photons.

Using a single circular Rydberg atom, we have prepared two modes of a superconducting cavity in a maximally entangled state. The two modes share a single photon. This entanglement is revealed by a second atom probing, after a delay, the correlations between the two modes. This experiment opens interesting perspectives for quantum information manipulation and fundamental tests of quantum theory.

In this paper we show that three cavity fields can be entangled when they are tuned on resonance with an ensemble of dressed three-level atoms. The master equation for the three cavity modes is derived by using atomic dressed states and the inseparability of the three output cavity modes is described by using a sufficient criterion proposed by van Loock and Furusawa.
