Based on first principles solutions in a unified framework of quantum mechanics and electromagnetism we predict the presence of a universal attractive depolarisation radiation (DR) Lorentz force ($F$) between quantum entities, each being either an IED matter particle or light quantum, in a vacuuonic dielectric vacuum. Given two quantum entities $i=1,2$ of either kind, of characteristic frequencies $ν_i^0$, masses $m_i^0=hν_i^0 / c^2$ and separated at a distance r^0, the solution is $F=- G m_1^0 m_2^0/ (r^0)^2$, where $G= χ_0^2 e^4/12 π^2 ε_0^2 ρ_λ$, $χ_0$ is the susceptibility and $ρ_λ$ is the reduced linear mass density of the dielectric vacuum. This force $F$ is accurate at the weak $F$ limit and resembles in all respects Newton's gravity; hence $G$ is the gravitational constant. The DR wave fields and hence the gravity is propagated in the dielectric vacuum at the speed of light $c$; these can not be shielded by matter. A test particle $μ$ of mass $m^0$ at $r^0$ apart from a large mass $M$ is therefore gravitated by all of the building particles of M directly, by a total gravitational potential $V = -G M m^0/ r^0$. For a finite $V$ and hence a total Hamiltonian $H= m^0 c^2 +V$, solution for the eigenvalue equation of $μ$ presents a red-shift in the eigen frequency $ν= ν^0 (1- GM/r^0 c^2)$ and accordingly other wave variables. The quantum solutions combined with the wave nature of the gravity further lead to dilated gravito optical distance $r=r^0/(1- GM/r^0 c^2) $ and time $t=t^0/(1- GM/r^0 c^2) $, and modified Newton's gravity and Einstein's mass energy relation. Applications of these give predictions of the general relativistic effects manifested in the four classical test experiments of Einstein's general relativity (GR), in direct agreement with the experiments and the predictions given based on GR.
The use of the bivectors in the General Relativity with Newman-Penrose formalism is important to the description of the exact solutions of the Einstein's field equations. This review is devoted to introduce the basic ideas with calculation details of the bivectors in Newman-Penrose formalism through conversion of the complex self-dual electromagnetic field from orthornormal Minkowski basis to bivectors in the complex null tetrad basis. Furthermore, in this context, it is obtained the complex coefficients of the Weyl tensor in Newman-Penrose formalism.
This is the second of three papers I will present as an application of the Basic Unit System concept, a complex mathematical unit presented in The Basic Unit System concept and The Principle of Synergy. In this case this Bus concept is used as a powerful tool to obtain again the Lorentz Transformation Groups of equations, and then to present the emergent proposal that the fundamental is the magnetic field, and not the charge concept. The need to obtain "waves solution" is solved concomitant with the Bus concept as we have seen in the physics/9908040 .
The Temporal Fluctuation Model proposed in present paper represents an attempt for a unitary vision for gravity, inertia and electromagnetism. We obtain the main results of General Relativity and Electromagnetism and the theory, until now, don't contain self-contradictions. As well, we obtain the "unified potential" which has terms that coupling gravitation with electromagnetism and who could be the basis for future technological applications.
Milne cosmology has recently been shown to be in broad agreement with most cosmological data while being free of the problematic notions of standard cosmology such as the dark sector. In this paper a broken symmetric unified theory of gravity and electromagnetism is introduced which has a Milne metric under a certain geometric condition. Strikingly, particles (dyons) emerge as topological charges in this theory provided the torsion vector $Γ_i$ is curl-less.
The proposed temporal fluctuations model attempt for a unitary vision on gravity, electromagnetism and inertia. On obtain Newton law of gravitation and Coulomb law by starting from simple principles. On obtain too the main results of General Relativity Theory and Electromagnetism. One of the major points of present work is to obtain unified potential, which allow a unitary description of gravity and electromagnetism. As consequence, on obtain supplemental effects responsible for conservation laws violation in certain closed systems. On maintain the validity of conservation laws only if those s…
One of us (Y.P.) has shown the existence of a longitudinal component in the propagation of light waves on the basis of the kinematics underlying Poincaré's ellipse. We show how this statement agrees with the electromagnetic theory. We recall that the second of us supports the existence of a "fine structure" of Electromagnetism that is, the co-existence of two theories, one based on the fields (Heaviside-Hertz) and the other on the potentials (Riemann-Lorenz). The existence of two different kinematics (the "fine structure" of Special Relativity : Einstein or Poincaré) corresponds to these two f…
It is first argued that radiation by a uniformly accelerated charge in flat space-time indicates the need for a unified geometric theory of gravity and electromagnetism. Such a theory, based on a metric-affine $U_4$ manifold, is constructed with the torsion pseudo-vector $Γ_μ$ linking gravity and electromagnetism. This conceptually simple extension results in (i) Einstein's equations being modified by a vacuum energy $Γ_μΓ_ν$ and a scalar field $Γ= Γ^μΓ_μ$ whose zero-mode is a cosmological constant $Λ$ representing `dark energy', (ii) most of the salient features of `dark matter'-like phenomen…
This paper describes general relativity at the gravito-electromagnetic precision level as a constrained field theory. In this novel formulation, the gravity field comprises two auxiliary fields, a static matter field and a moving matter field. Equations of motion, continuity equation, energy conservation, field tensor, energy-momentum tensor, constraints and Lagrangian formulation are presented as a simple and unified formulation that can be useful for future research.
Monogenic functions are functions of null vector derivative and are here analysed in the geometric algebra of 5-dimensional spacetime, G(4,1), in order to derive several laws of fundamental physics. The paper introduces the working algebra and the definition of monogenic functions, showing that these generate two 4-dimensional spaces, one with Euclidean signature and the other one with Minkowski signature. The equivalence conditions between the two spaces are studied and relativistic dynamics, not entirely coincident with Einstein's general theory of relativity, is demonstrated. The monogenic …
The generalization of Einstein's special theory of relativity (SRT) is proposed. In this model the possibility of unification of scalar gravity and electromagnetism into a single united field is considered. Formally, the generalization of the SRT is that instead of (1+3)-dimensional Minkowski space the (1+4)-dimensional extension G is considered. As a fifth additional coordinate the interval S is used. This value is saved under the usual Lorentz transformations in Minkowski space M, but it changes when the transformations in the extended space G are used. We call this model the extended space …
In 1917 F. Klein proposed his work on projective geometry to A. Einstein for further developments of general relativity. Klein had a peculiar way to consider the relationship between mathematics and physics, based on his Erlanger Programm and geometrical modeling of physical phenomena. He was aiming at a physical foundation for non Euclidean geometry. However, the letters he wrote to Einstein had no sequel. We think that F. Klein's ideas still deserve some attention, as they can be useful for modeling Maxwell's equations with a radically different approach than resorting to field theories. One…
The mere principle of relativity and Lorentz transformations for the mass current predict, in close analogy to electromagnetism, the existence of gravitomagnetic fields. With the reasonable assumption of the non existence of a gravitomagnetic mass, a parameter-free set of equations for "effective" vector gravitoelectromagnetism results. As a consequence gravity propagates at the speed of light in a flat Minkowski space and quadrupole gravitational radiation, consistent with energy balance, is predicted with the same value of GR. Heuristic considerations relate gravitational radiation to the st…
Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity was proposed a little over a hundred years back. It remained a bedrock of twentieth century physics right up to Quantum Field Theory. However, the failure over several decades to provide a unified description of Electromagnetism and Gravitation or alternatively, Quantum Theory and General Relativity has finally lead researchers to abandon the differentiable spacetime manifold on which all of the above was based. In the most recent approaches we consider a spacetime that is discretized or is noncommutative. This immediately leads to corrections to the Spe…
By adding generalizations involving translations, the machinery of the quantum theory of free fields leads to the semiclassical equations of motion for a charged massive particle in electromagnetic and gravitational fields. With the particle field translated along one displacement, particle states are translated along a possibly different displacement. Arbitrary phase results. And particle momentum, a spin (1/2,1/2) quantity, is allowed to change when field and states are translated. It is shown that a path of extreme phase obeys a semiclassical equation for force with derived terms that can d…
Extending black-hole entropy to ordinary objects, we propose kinetic entropy tensor, based on which a quantum gravity tensor equation is established. Our investigation results indicate that if N=1, the quantum gravity tensor equation returns to Schrodinger integral equation. When N becomes sufficiently large, it is equivalent to Einstein field equation. This illustrates formal unification and intrinsic compatibility of general relativity with quantum mechanics. The quantum gravity equation may be utilized to deduce general relativity, special relativity, Newtonian mechanics and quantum mechani…
This article introduces Universal Quantum Relativity which is a simple Theory of Everything. It relies on an ultimate doctrine that is the absence of absolute existence. This generalizes relativity principles up to a mother quantum theory. Then it is applied to the Universe as a unique inseparable quantum system, without external observer, using a no-collapse interpretation of quantum mechanics. Assuming infinite divisibility suffices to explain through a single model the theories of all fundamental interactions: general relativity for gravitation, and the standard model of elementary particle…
Considering two static, electrically charged, elementary particles, we demonstrate a possible way of proving that all known fundamental forces in the nature are the manifestations of the single, unique interaction. We re-define the gauging of integration constants in the Schwarzschild solution of Einstein field equations. We consider the potential energy in this context regardless it is gravitational or electric potential energy. With the newly gauged constants, we sketch how the unique interaction can be described with the help of an appropriate solution of the well-known Maxwell equations. A…
Quantum Relativity is supposed to be a new theory, which locally is a deformation of Special Relativity, and globally it is a background independent theory including the main ideas of General Relativity, with hindsight from Quantum Theory. The qubit viewed as a Hopf monopole bundle is considered as a unifying gauge "group". Breaking its chiral symmetry is conjectured to yield gravity as a deformation of electromagnetism. It is already a quantum theory in the context of Quantum Information Dynamics as a discrete, background independent theory, unifying classical and quantum physics. Based on th…
According to the theory of relativity, the 4-vector force acting on a particle is orthogonal to the 4-vector velocity of the particle, but we found that the electromagnetic force of the Maxwell's theory can not completely satisfy this orthogonality, this incompletion leads us to find that the electromagnetic force has two independent components in the 4 dimensional space time. A 4-vector force has 4 components, because of the orthogonality of 4-vector force and 4-vector velocity, the number of independent components of the force reduces to 3, while the electromagnetic force can merely provide …
