We give a negative solution to the problem of the $L^p$-maximal regularity on various classes of Banach spaces including $L^q$-spaces with $1<q \neq 2<+\infty$.
In this paper, we prove that the generator of any bounded analytic semigroup in $(θ,1)$-type real interpolation of its domain and underlying Banach space has maximal $L^1$-regularity, using a duality argument combined with the result of maximal continuous regularity. As an application, we consider maximal $L^1$-regularity of the Dirichlet-Laplacian and the Stokes operator in inhomogeneous $B^s_{q,1}$-type Besov spaces on domains of $\mathbb R^n$, $n\geq 2$.
We propose an approach based on perturbation theory to establish maximal $L^p$-regularity for a class of integro-differential equations. As the left shift semigroup is involved for such equations, we study maximal regularity on Bergman spaces for autonomous and non-autonomous integro-differential equations. Our method is based on the formulation of the integro-differential equations to a Cauchy problems, infinite dimensional systems theory and some recent results on the perturbation of maximal regularity (see \cite{AmBoDrHa}). Applications to heat equations driven by the Dirichlet (or Neumann)…
We provide a convenient framework for the study of the well-posedness of a variety of abstract (integro)differential equations in general Banach function spaces. It allows us to extend and complement the known theory on the maximal regularity of such equations. More precisely, by methods of harmonic analysis, we identify large classes of Banach spaces which are invariant with respect to distributional Fourier multipliers. Such classes include general vector-valued Banach function spaces $Φ$ and/or the scales of Besov and Triebel-Lizorkin spaces defined by $Φ$. We apply this result to the study…
In this paper we consider $L^p$-regularity estimates for solutions to stochastic evolution equations, which is called stochastic maximal $L^p$-regularity. Our aim is to find a theory which is analogously to Dore's theory for deterministic evolution equations. He has shown that maximal $L^p$-regularity is independent of the length of the time interval, implies analyticity and exponential stability of the semigroup, is stable under perturbation and many more properties. We show that the stochastic versions of these results hold.
In this paper we show that the concept of maximal $L^p$-regularity is stable under a large class of unbounded perturbations, namely Staffans-Weiss perturbations. To that purpose, we first prove that the analyticity of semigroups is preserved under this class of perturbations, which is a necessary condition for the maximal regularity. In UMD spaces, $\mathcal{R}$-boundedness conditions are exploited to give conditions guaranteing the maximal regularity. For non-reflexive Banach space, a condition is imposed to the Dirichlet operator associated to the boundary value problem to prove the maximal …
By Baillon's result, it is known that maximal regularity with respect to the space of continuous functions is rare; it implies that either the involved semigroup generator is a bounded operator or the considered space contains $c_{0}$. We show that the latter alternative can be excluded under a refined condition resembling maximal regularity with respect to $\mathrm{L}^{\infty}$.
We establish the existence and the uniqueness for the Boussinesq system in the whole 3D space in the critical space of continuous in time with values in the power 3 integrable in space functions for the velocity and square integrable in time with values in the power 3/2 integrable in space.
In this paper, we prove global-in-time $\dot{\mathrm{H}}^{α,q}$-maximal regularity for a class of injective, but not invertible, sectorial operators on a UMD Banach space X , provided $q\in(1,+\infty) , $α\in(-1+1/q,1/q)$. We also prove the corresponding trace estimate, so that the solution to the canonical abstract Cauchy problem is continuous with values in a not necessarily complete trace space. In order to put our result in perspective, we also provide a short review on L q-maximal regularity which includes some recent advances such as the revisited homogeneous operator and interpolation th…

End-point maximal $L^1$-regularity for parabolic initial-boundary value problems is considered. For the inhomogeneous Dirichlet and Neumann data, maximal $L^1$-regularity for initial-boundary value problems is established in time end-point case upon the homogeneous Besov space $\dot B_{p,1}^s({\mathbb R}^n_+)$ with $1< p< \infty$ and $-1+1/p<s\le 0$ as well as optimal trace estimates. The main estimates obtained here are sharp in the sense of trace estimates and it is not available by known theory on the class of UMD Banach spaces. We utilize a method of harmonic analysis, in particular, the a…
The main purpose of this paper is to investigate the concept of maximal $L^p$-regularity for perturbed evolution equations in Banach spaces. We mainly consider three classes of perturbations: Miyadera-Voigt perturbations, Desch-Schappacher perturbations, and more general Staffans-Weiss perturbations. We introduce conditions for which the maximal $L^p$-regularity can be preserved under these kind of perturbations. We give examples for a boundary perturbed heat equation in $L^r$-spaces and a perturbed boundary integro-differential equation. We mention that our results mainly extend those in the …
We prove boundedness of Calderón-Zygmund operators acting in Banach functions spaces on domains, defined by the $L_1$ Carleson functional and $L_q$ ($1<q<\infty$) Whitney averages. For such bounds to hold, we assume that the operator maps towards the boundary of the domain. We obtain the Carleson estimates by proving a pointwise domination of the operator, by sparse operators with a causal structure. The work is motivated by maximal regularity estimates for elliptic PDEs and is related to one-sided weighted estimates for singular integrals.
We consider the Cauchy problem for non-autonomous forms inducing elliptic operators in divergence form with Dirichlet, Neumann, or mixed boundary conditions on an open subset $Ω$ $\subseteq$ R n. We obtain maximal regularity in L 2 ($Ω$) if the coefficients are bounded, uniformly elliptic, and satisfy a scale invariant bound on their fractional time-derivative of order one-half. Previous results even for such forms required control on a time-derivative of order larger than one-half.
The aim of this article is to deepen the understanding of the derivation of $\mathrm{L}^p$-estimates of non-local operators. We review the $\mathrm{L}^p$-extrapolation theorem of Shen which builds on a real variable argument of Caffarelli and Peral and adapt this theorem to account for non-local weak reverse Hölder estimates. These non-local weak reverse Hölder estimates appear for example in the investigation of non-local elliptic integrodifferential operators. This originates from the fact that here only a non-local Caccioppoli inequality is valid, see Kuusi, Mingione, and Sire. As an applic…
