We discuss the hypergeometric solutions of the quantized Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov (qKZ) equation at level zero and show that they give all solutions of the qKZ equation. We completely describe linear relations between the hypergeometric solutions and give an interpretation of the relations in terms of the quantum group $U_q(sl_2)$ at $q=e^{πi/2}$.

We discuss relations between different integral formulae for solutions of the quantized Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov (qKZ) equation at level zero in the $U_q(sl_2)$ case for $|q|<1$. Smirnov type formulae of M.Jimbo et al. are derived from the general approach of A.Varchenko and the author. The consideration is parallel to the qKZ equation in the rational $sl_2$ case done by A.Nakayashiki, S.Pakuliak and the author [q-alg/9712002].

The resonance relations are identities between coordinates of functions with values in tensor products of representations of the quantum group Uq(sl2). We show that the space of hypergeometric solutions of the associated qKZB equations is characterized as the space of functions of Baker-Akhiezer type, satisfying the resonance relations. We give an integral representation for solutions of the elliptic quantum Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov-Bernard difference equations, in the case of sl(2). The result is based on a geometric construction of highest weight representations of the elliptic quantum group associated to sl(2). We also obtain Bethe ansatz eigenfunctions for the corresponding integrable systems of difference operators, and prove their completeness in some cases.

Conformal blocks for the WZW model on tori can be represented by vector valued Weyl anti-symmetric theta functions on the Cartan subalgebra satisfying vanishing conditions on root hyperplanes. We introduce a quantum version of these vanishing conditions in the sl(2) case. We study certain subspaces of solutions to the sl_2 rational qKZ equation at level zero. Each subspace is specified by the vanishing of the residue at a certain divisor which stems from models in two dimensional integrable field theories. We determine the character of the subspace which is parametrized by the number of variables and the sl_2 weight of the solutions. We study the properties of one-dimensional hypergeometric integral solutions of the q-difference ("quantum") analogue of the Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov-Bernard equations on tori. We show that they also obey a difference KZB heat equation in the modular parameter, give formulae for modular transformations, and prove a completeness result, by showing that the associated Fourier transform is invertible. These results are based on SL(3,Z) transformation properties parallel to those of elliptic gamma functions.
