We discuss relations between different integral formulae for solutions of the quantized Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov (qKZ) equation at level zero in the $U_q(sl_2)$ case for $|q|<1$. Smirnov type formulae of M.Jimbo et al. are derived from the general approach of A.Varchenko and the author. The consideration is parallel to the qKZ equation in the rational $sl_2$ case done by A.Nakayashiki, S.Pakuliak and the author [q-alg/9712002].
We discuss the hypergeometric solutions of the quantized Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov (qKZ) equation at level zero and show that they give all solutions of the qKZ equation. We completely describe linear relations between the hypergeometric solutions and give an interpretation of the relations in terms of the quantum group $U_q(sl_2)$ at $q=e^{πi/2}$.
We consider the $sl(2)$ quantized Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equation (qKZ), defined in terms of rational R-matrices. The properties of the equation change when the step of the equation takes a resonance value. In this case the discrete connection defined by the qKZ equation has a invariant subbundle which we call the subbundle of quantized conformal blocks. Solutions of the qKZ equation were constructed in [TV1], [MV1] in terms of multidimensional hypergeometric integrals. In this paper we show that for a resonance step all hypergeometric solutions take values in the subbundle of quantized confor…
The resonance relations are identities between coordinates of functions with values in tensor products of representations of the quantum group Uq(sl2). We show that the space of hypergeometric solutions of the associated qKZB equations is characterized as the space of functions of Baker-Akhiezer type, satisfying the resonance relations. We give an alternative representation-theoretic construction of this space, using the traces of regularized intertwining operators for the quantum group, and thus establish the equivalence between hypergeometric and trace function solutions of the qKZB equation…
The quantized Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equation is a difference equation defined in terms of rational $R$ matrices. We describe all singularities of hypergeometric solutions to the qKZ equations.
We describe a bilinear identity satisfied by certain multidimensional q-hypergeometric integrals. The identity can be considered as a deformation of the Riemann bilinear relation for the twisted de Rham (co)homologies. The identity also gives an explicit formula for scalar products of solutions of the qKZ and the dual qKZ equations, therefore providing a deformation of Gaudin-Korepin's formula for norms of the Bethe vectors.
We construct the hypergeometric solutions for the quantized KZ equation with values in a tensor product of vector representations of $U_q(sl_n)$ at $|q|=1$ and give an explicit formula for the corresponding determinant in terms of the double sine function.
The rational quantized Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equation (qKZ equation) associated with the Lie algebra $sl_2$ is a system of linear difference equations with values in a tensor product of $sl_2$ Verma modules. We solve the equation in terms of multidimensional $q$-hypergeometric functions and define a natural isomorphism between the space of solutions and the tensor product of the corresponding quantum group $U_q(sl_2)$ Verma modules, where the parameter $q$ is related to the step $p$ of the qKZ equation via $q=e^{pi i/p}$. We construct asymptotic solutions associated with suitable asymptotic z…
We consider the system of quantum differential equations for a partial flag variety and construct a basis of solutions in the form of multidimensional hypergeometric functions, that is, we construct a Landau-Ginzburg mirror for that partial flag variety. In our construction, the solutions are labeled by elements of the $K$-theory algebra of the partial flag variety. To establish these facts we consider the equivariant quantum differential equations for a partial flag variety and introduce a compatible system of difference equations, which we call the qKZ equations. We construct a basis of solu…
We study the qKZ difference equations with values in the $n$-th tensor power of the vector $sl_2$ representation $V$, variables $z_1,\dots,z_n$ and integer step $κ$. For any integer $N$ relatively prime to the step $κ$, we construct a family of polynomials $f_r(z)$ in variables $z_1,\dots,z_n$ with values in $V^{\otimes n}$ such that the coordinates of these polynomials with respect to the standard basis of $V^{\otimes n}$ are polynomials with integer coefficients. We show that the polynomials $f_r(z)$ satisfy the qKZ equations modulo $N$. Polynomials $f_r(z)$ are modulo $N$ analogs of the hyp…
We consider the quantized Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov difference equation (qKZ) with values in a tensor product of irreducible sl(2) modules, the equation defined in terms of rational R-matrices. We solve the equation in terms of multidimensional q-hypergeometric integrals. We identify the space of solutions of the qKZ equation with the tensor product of the corresponding modules over the quantum group $U_qsl(2)$. We compute the monodromy of the qKZ equation in terms of the trigonometric R-matrices.
The trigonometric quantized Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equation (qKZ equation) associated with the quantum group $U_q(sl_2)$ is a system of linear difference equations with values in a tensor product of $U_q(sl_2)$ Verma modules. We solve the equation in terms of multidimensional $q$-hypergeometric functions and define a natural isomorphism between the space of solutions and the tensor product of the corresponding evaluation Verma modules over the elliptic quantum group $E_{ρ,γ}(sl_2)$, where parameters $ρ$ and $γ$ are related to the parameter $q$ of the quantum group $U_q(sl_2)$ and the step $p$ …
Conformal blocks for the WZW model on tori can be represented by vector valued Weyl anti-symmetric theta functions on the Cartan subalgebra satisfying vanishing conditions on root hyperplanes. We introduce a quantum version of these vanishing conditions in the sl(2) case. They are compatible with the qKZB equations and are obeyed by the hypergeometric solutions as well as by their critical level counterpart, which are Bethe eigenfunctions of IRF row-to-row transfer matrices. In the language of IRF models the vanishing conditions turn out to be equivalent to the sl(2) fusion rules defining rest…
We discuss relations between different formulae for solutions of the Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov differential and the quantum Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov difference equations at level 0 and associated with rational solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation.
We study certain subspaces of solutions to the sl_2 rational qKZ equation at level zero. Each subspace is specified by the vanishing of the residue at a certain divisor which stems from models in two dimensional integrable field theories. We determine the character of the subspace which is parametrized by the number of variables and the sl_2 weight of the solutions. The sum of all characters with a fixed weight gives rise to the branching functions of the irreducible representations of sl_2 in the level one integrable highest weight representations of \hat{sl_2}. It is written in the fermionic…
Given complex numbers $m_1,l_1$ and nonnegative integers $m_2,l_2$, such that $m_1+m_2=l_1+l_2$, for any $a,b=0, ... ,\min(m_2,l_2)$ we define an $l_2$-dimensional Barnes type q-hypergeometric integral $I_{a,b}(z,μ;m_1,m_2,l_1,l_2)$ and an $l_2$-dimensional hypergeometric integral $J_{a,b}(z,μ;m_1,m_2,l_1,l_2)$. The integrals depend on complex parameters $z$ and $μ$. We show that $I_{a,b}(z,μ;m_1,m_2,l_1,l_2)$ equals $J_{a,b}(e^μ,z;l_1,l_2,m_1,m_2)$ up to an explicit factor, thus establishing an equality of $l_2$-dimensional q-hypergeometric and $m_2$-dimensional hypergeometric integrals. The …
The response of an integrable QFT under variation of the Unruh temperature has recently been shown to be computable from an S-matrix preserving (`replica') deformation of the form factor approach. We show that replica-deformed form factors of the SU(2)-invariant Thirring model can be found among the solutions of the rational $sl_2$-type quantum Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equation at generic level. We show that modulo conserved charge solutions the deformed form factors are in one-to-one correspondence to the ones at level zero and use this to conjecture the deformed form factors of the Noether cur…
We describe \,$q$-hypergeometric solutions of the equivariant quantum differential equations and associated qKZ difference equations for the cotangent bundle $T^*F_λ$ of a partial flag variety \,$F_λ$\,. These \,$q$-hypergeometric solutions manifest a Landau-Ginzburg mirror symmetry for the cotangent bundle. We formulate and prove Pieri rules for quantum equivariant cohomology of the cotangent bundle. Our Gamma theorem for \,$T^*F_λ$ \,says that the leading term of the asymptotics of the \,$q$-hypergeometric solutions can be written as the equivariant Gamma class of the tangent bundle of $T^*F…
Formulae of Berezin and Karpelevic for the radial parts of invariant differential operators and the spherical function on a complex Grassmann manifold are generalized to the hypergeometric functions associated with root system of type $BC_n$ under condition that the multiplicity of the middle roots is zero or one.
