We show that there is an action of the symmetric group on the Hochschild cochain complex of a twisted group algebra with coefficients in a bimodule. This allows us to define the symmetric Hochschild cohomology of twisted group algebras, similarly to th construction of symmetric group cohomology due to Staic. We give explicit embeddings and connecting homomorphisms between the symmetric cohomology spaces and symmetric Hochschild cohomology of twisted group algebras.
We compare twisted Equivariant K-theory of Sl3Z with untwisted equivariant K-Theory of its universal central extension, St3Z. We show that the inertia stack of a topological stack is again a topological stack. We further observe that the inertia stack of an orbispace is again an orbispace. The aim of this paper is twofold. In the first part, we consider twisted Rota-Baxter operators on associative algebras that were introduced by Uchino as a noncommutative analogue of twisted Poisson structures. We construct an $L_\infty$-algebra whose Maurer-Cartan elements are given by twisted Rota-Baxter operators. This leads to cohomology associated to a twisted Rota-Baxter operator. We prove that the degree $r(2p-3)$ cohomology of any (untwisted) finite group of Lie type over $\mathbb{F}_{p^r}$, with coefficients in characteristic $p$, is nonzero as long as its Coxeter number is at most $p$. We do this by providing a simple explicit construction of a nonzero element. Furthermore, for the groups $GL_n\mathbb{F}_{p^r}$, when $p=2$ or $r=1$, we calculate the cohomology in degree $r(2p-3)$, for all $n$.
We study the twisted cohomology groups of $A_\infty$-algebras defined by twisting elements and their behavior under morphisms and homotopies using the bar construction. We define higher Massey products on the cohomology groups of general $A_\infty$-algebras and establish the naturality under morphisms and their dependency on defining systems. Connes and Cuntz showed in [Comm. Math. Phys. 114 (1988), 515-526] that suitable cyclic cocycles can be represented as Chern characters of finitely summable semifinite Fredholm modules. We show an analogous result in twisted cyclic cohomology using Chern characters of modular Fredholm modules. We present examples of modular Fredholm modules arising from Podleś spheres and from $SU_q(2)$.

This generalizes to the twisted setting the authors' corresponding earlier construction for differential cohomology theories, as well as to the differential setting the AHSS for twisted generalized cohomology theories, including that of twisted K-theory by Rosenberg and Atiyah-Segal. We continue the investigation of twisted homology theories in the context of dimension drop phenomena. This work unifies previous equivariant index calculations in twisted cyclic cohomology. We consider the global aspects of the 6-dimensional $\mathcal{N}=(1, 0)$ theory arising from the coupling of the vector multiplet to the tensor multiplet. We show that the Yang-Mills field and its dual, when both are abelianized, combine to define a class in twisted cohomology with the twist arising from the class of the $B$-field, in a duality-symmetric manner.
