We show that the spherical subalgebra of the rational Cherednik algebra associated to the wreath product of a symmetric group and a cyclic group is isomorphic to a quotient of the ring of invariant differential operators on a space of representations of the cyclic quiver. This confirms a version of a conjecture of Etingof and Ginzburg in the case of cyclic groups. The proof is a straightforward application of work of Oblomkov on the deformed Harish-Chandra homomorphism, and of Crawley-Boevey and of Gan and Ginzburg on preprojective algebras.
We construct characteristic-free bases and BGG resolutions of unitary simple modules of quiver Hecke algebras and Cherednik algebras. We hence solve and vastly generalise Berkesch-Griffeth-Sam's conjecture, calculate the Castelnuovo-Mumford regularity of ideals of of certain highly symmetric linear subspace arrangements, and compute Dirac homology of Cherednik algebras.
We relate the representations of the rational Cherednik algebras associated with the complex reflection group G(m,1,n) to sheaves on Nakajima quiver varieties associated with extended Dynkin gaphs via a Z-algebra construction. As the parameters defining the Cherednik algebra vary, the stability conditions defining the quiver variety change. We interpret the ordering on category O geometrically using this relationship; we also relate the geometry to the a-function for Hecke algebras with unequal parameters.
We give a classification of the graded simple modules of cyclotomic quiver Hecke algebras of type A using the diagram calculus of the diagrammatic Cherednik algebra. We also obtain a non-trivial lower bound for the dimension of the simple modules which is independent of the field characteristic.
Let $W$ be a complex reflection group of the form $G(l,1,n)$. Following [BK12, BPW12, Gor06, GS05, GS06, KR08, MN11], the theory of deform quantising conical symplectic resolutions allows one to study the category of modules for the spherical Cherednik algebra, $U_\textbf{c}(W)$, via a functor, $\mathbb T_{\textbf{c},θ}$, which takes invariant global sections of certain twisted sheaves on some Nakajima quiver variety $Y_θ$. A parameter for the Cherednik algebra, $\textbf{c}$, is considered `good' if there exists a choice of GIT parameter $θ$, such that $\mathbb T_{\textbf{c},θ}$ is exact and `…
We show that the partially spherical cyclotomic rational Cherednik algebra (obtained from the full rational Cherednik algebra by averaging out the cyclotomic part of the underlying reflection group) has four other descriptions: (1) as a subalgebra of the degenerate DAHA of type A given by generators; (2) as an algebra given by generators and relations; (3) as an algebra of differential-reflection operators preserving some spaces of functions; (4) as equivariant Borel-Moore homology of a certain variety. Also, we define a new $q$-deformation of this algebra, which we call cyclotomic DAHA. Namel…
In this paper we consider the following question: Is it possible to construct all real root representations of a given quiver Q by using universal extension functors, starting with a real Schur representation? We give a concrete example answering this question negatively.
We study the representation theory of the rational Cherednik algebra $H_κ= H_κ({\mathbb Z}_l)$ for the cyclic group ${\mathbb Z}_l = {\mathbb Z} / l {\mathbb Z}$ and its connection with the geometry of the quiver variety $M_θ(δ)$ of type $A_{l-1}^{(1)}$. We consider a functor between the categories of $H_κ$-modules with different parameters, called the shift functor, and give the condition when it is an equivalence of categories. We also consider a functor from the category of $H_κ$-modules with good filtration to the category of coherent sheaves on $M_θ(δ)$. We prove that the image of the reg…
In this paper we describe the twisted Hall algebra of bound quiver with small homological dimension. The description is given in the terms of the quadratic form associated with the corresponding bound quiver.
A maximal green sequence introduced by B. Keller is a certain sequence of quiver mutations at green vertices. T. Brüstle, G. Dupont and M. Pérotin showed that for an acyclic quiver, maximal green sequences are realized as maximal paths in the Hasse quiver of the poset of support tilting modules. They also considered possible lengths of maximal green sequences. In this paper, we calculate possible lengths of maximal green sequences for a quiver of type $A$ or of type $\tilde{A}_{n,1}$ by using theory of tilting mutation.
In this paper we study the combinatorial consequences of the relationship between rational Cherednik algebras of type $G(l,1,n)$, cyclic quiver varieties and Hilbert schemes. We classify and explicitly construct $\mathbb{C}^*$-fixed points in cyclic quiver varieties and calculate the corresponding characters of tautological bundles. Furthermore, we give a combinatorial description of the bijections between $\mathbb{C}^*$-fixed points induced by the Etingof-Ginzburg isomorphism and Nakajima reflection functors. We apply our results to obtain a new proof as well as a generalization of the $q$-ho…
In this paper, we investigate a connection between convolution products for quiver Hecke algebras and tensor products for quantum groups. We give a categorification of the natural projection $ π_{λ, μ} : V_{\mathbb{A}}(λ)^\vee \otimes_{\mathbb{A}} V_\mathbb{A}(μ)^\vee \twoheadrightarrow V_\mathbb{A}(λ+ μ)^\vee $ sending the tensor product of the highest weight vectors to the highest weight vector in terms of convolution products. When the quiver Hecke algebra is symmetric and the base field is of characteristic $0$, we obtain a positivity condition on some coefficients associated with the proj…
We analyze the geometry of the Ext-quiver of a coalgebra $C$ in order to study the behavior of simple and injective $C$-comodules under the action of the functors associated to a localizing subcategory of the category of $C$-comodules.
In this paper, we give a recursive formula for the interesting PBW basis $E_{A}$ of composition subalgebras of Ringel-Hall algebras $\fkH_\vartri(n)$ of cyclic quivers after \cite{DengDuXiao2007generic}, and another construction of canonical bases of $\U_v^+(\wih{\fks\fkl}_n)$ from the monomial bases $m^{(A)}$ follow \cite{DuZhaomultiplication}. As an application, we will determined all the canonical basis of $\U_v^+(\wih{\fks\fkl}_2)$ associated with modules of Lowery length $\leqs3$. Finally, we will discuss the relation of canonical bases of Ringel-Hall algebras and those of affine quantum …
In this paper, we give a method for relating the generalized category $\mathcal{O}$ defined by the author and collaborators to explicit finitely presented algebras, and apply this to quiver varieties. This allows us to describe combinatorially not just the structure of these category $\mathcal{O}$'s but also how certain interesting families of derived equivalences, the shuffling and twisting functors, act on them. In the case of Nakajima quiver varieties, the algebras that appear are weighted KLR algebras and their steadied quotients, defined by the author in earlier work. In particular, these…
The statistical model of crystal melting represents BPS configurations of D-branes on a toric Calabi-Yau three-fold. Recently it has been noticed that an infinite-dimensional algebra, the quiver Yangian, acts consistently on the crystal-melting configurations. We physically derive the algebra and its action on the BPS states, starting with the effective supersymmetric quiver quantum mechanics on the D-brane worldvolume. This leads to remarkable combinatorial identities involving equivariant integrations on the moduli space of the quantum mechanics, which can be checked by numerical computation…
Fix a poset $P$ and a natural number $n$. For various commutative local rings $Λ$, each of Loewy length $n$, consider the category $\textrm{sub}_ΛP$ of $Λ$-linear submodule representations of $P$. We give a criterion for when the underlying translation quiver of a connected component of the Auslander-Reiten quiver of $\textrm{sub}_ΛP$ is independent of the choice of the base ring $Λ$. If $\mathcal P$ is the one-point poset and $Λ=\mathbb Z/p^n$ for $p$ a prime number, then $\textrm{sub}_ΛP$ consists of all pairs $(B;A)$ where $B$ is a finite abelian $p^n$-bounded group and $A\subset B$ a subgr…
In our previous paper we studied non-semistable exceptional objects in hereditary categories and introduced the notion of regularity preserving category, but we obtained quite a few examples of such categories. Certain conditions on the Ext-nontrivial couples (exceptional objects $X,Y\in \mathcal A$ with ${\rm Ext}^1(X,Y)\neq 0$ and ${\rm Ext}^1(Y,X)\neq 0$) were shown to imply regularity-preserving. This paper is a brief review of the previous paper (with emphasis on regularity preserving property) and we add some remarks and conjectures. It is known that in Dynkin quivers ${\rm Hom}(ρ,ρ')=0$…
These lecture notes cover a brief introduction into some of the algebro-geometric techniques used in the construction of BPS algebras. The first section introduces the derived category of coherent sheaves as a useful model of branes in toric Calabi-Yau three-folds. This model allows a rather simple derivation of quiver quantum mechanics describing low-energy dynamics of various brane systems. Vacua of such quantum mechanics can be identified with the critical equivariant cohomology of the moduli space of quiver representations. These are often counted by various crystal configurations. Using c…
Chinta and Gunnells introduced a rather intricate multi-parameter Weyl group action on rational functions on a torus, which, when the parameters are specialized to certain Gauss sums, describes the functional equations of Weyl group multiple Dirichlet series associated to metaplectic (n-fold) covers of algebraic groups. In subsequent joint work with Puskas, they extended this action to a "metaplectic" representation of the equal parameter affine Hecke algebra, which allowed them to obtain explicit formulas for the p-parts of these Dirichlet series. They have also verified by a computer check t…
