On some Algebraic Properties for q-Meixner Multiple Orthogonal Polynomials of the First Kind

We study a new family of q-Meixner multiple orthogonal polynomials of the first kind. The discrete orthogonality conditions are considered over a non-uniform lattice with respect to different q-analogues of Pascal distributions. We address some algebraic properties, namely raising and lowering operators as well as Rodrigues-type. Ladder operators for Szegő polynomials and related biorthogonal rational functions

We find the raising and lowering operators for orthogonal polynomials on the unit circle introduced by Szegő and for their four parameter generalization to ${}_4ϕ_3$ biorthogonal rational functions on the unit circle.

Discriminants and Functional Equations for Polynomials Orthogonal on the Unit Circle

We derive raising and lowering operators for orthogonal polynomials on the unit circle and find second order differential and $q$-difference equations for these polynomials. A general functional equation is found which allows one to relate the zeros of the orthogonal polynomials to the stationary values of an explicit quasi-energy and implies recurrences on the orthogonal polynomial coefficients. We also evaluate the discriminants and quantized discriminants of polynomials orthogonal on the unit circle.

On the $q$-Charlier Multiple Orthogonal Polynomials

We introduce a new family of special functions, namely $q$-Charlier multiple orthogonal polynomials. These polynomials are orthogonal with respect to $q$-analogues of Poisson distributions. We focus our attention on their structural properties. Raising and lowering operators as well as Rodrigues-type formulas are obtained. Classes of Bivariate Orthogonal Polynomials

We introduce a class of orthogonal polynomials in two variables which generalizes the disc polynomials and the 2-$D$ Hermite polynomials. We identify certain interesting members of this class including a one variable generalization of the 2-$D$ Hermite polynomials and a two variable extension of the Zernike or disc polynomials. We also give $q$-analogues of all these extensions.
