The rigidity of totally nondegenerate model CR manifolds
In this paper, we prove that every real analytic totally nondegenerate model CR manifold of length >= 3 has rigidity. This result was actually conjectured before by Valerii Beloshapka as the so-called "maximum conjecture". It follows that the transformation Lie group of all CR automorphisms associated with each of the mentioned models does not include any nonlinear map.

Infinitesimal and local rigidity of mappings of CR manifolds
A holomorphic mapping $H$ between two real-analytic CR manifolds $M$ and $M'$ is said to be locally rigid if any other holomorphic map $F\colon M \to M'$ which is close enough to $H$ is obtained by composing $H$ with suitable automorphisms of $M$ and $M'$. With the aim of reducing the local rigidity problem to a linear one, we provide sufficient infinitesimal conditions. Furthermore we study some topological properties of the action of the automorphism group on the space of nondegenerate mappings from $M$ to $M'$.

Rigidity of extremal quasiregularly elliptic manifolds
We show that for a closed $n$-manifold $N$ admitting a quasiregular mapping from the Euclidean $n$-space the following are equivalent: (1) order of growth of $π_1(N)$ is $n$, (2) $N$ is aspherical, and (3) $π_1(N)$ is virtually $\mathbb{Z}^n$ and torsion free.

On rigid compact complex surfaces and manifolds
This article investigates the subject of rigid compact complex manifolds. First of all we investigate the different notions of rigidity (local rigidity, global rigidity, infinitesimal rigidity, etale rigidity and strong rigidity) and the relations among them. Only for curves these notions coincide and the only rigid curve is the projective line. For surfaces we prove that a rigid surface which is not minimal of general type is either a Del Pezzo surface of degree >= 5 or an Inoue surface.
