In this paper, we study the composition operators on an algebra of Dirichlet series, the analogue of the Wiener algebra of absolutely convergent Taylor series, which we call the Wiener-Dirichlet algebra. We study the connection between the properties of the operator and of its symbol, with special emphasis on the compact, automorphic, or isometric character of this operator. We are led to the intermediate study of algebras of functions of several, or countably many, complex variables.
We show that the symbol of a bounded composition operator on the Wiener algebra of Dirichlet series does not need to belong to this algebra. Our example even gives an absolutely summing (hence compact) composition operator.

We prove a Wiener energy estimate for relaxed Dirichlet problems $Lu + μu =ν$ in $Ω$, with $L$ an uniformly elliptic operator with bounded coefficients, $μ$ a measure of ${\cal M}_0(Ω)$, $ν$ a Kato measure and $Ω$ a bounded open set of ${\bf R}^N$, $N \geq 2$. Choosing a particular $μ$, we obtain an energy estimate also for classical variational Dirichlet problems.
We consider the $(1,2)$-Sobolev space $W^{1,2}(U)$ on subsets $U$ in an abstract Wiener space, which is regarded as a canonical Dirichlet space on $U$. We prove that $W^{1,2}(U)$ has smooth cylindrical functions as a dense subset if $U$ is $H$-convex and $H$-open. For the proof, the relations between $H$-notions and quasi-notions are also studied.
Inversion theorems of Wiener type are essential tools in analysis and number theory. We derive a weighted version of an inversion theorem of Wiener type for general Dirichlet series from that of Edwards from 1957, and we outline an alternative proof based on the duality theory of convex cones and extension techniques for characters of semigroups. Variants and arithmetical applications are described, including the case of multidimensional weighted generalized Dirichlet series.
We study composition operators on spaces of double Dirichlet series, focusing our interest on the characterization of the composition operators of the space of bounded double Dirichlet series $\HCdos$. We also show how the composition operators of this space of Dirichlet series are related to the composition operators of the corresponding spaces of holomorphic functions. Finally, we give a characterization of the superposition operators in $\HC$ and in the spaces $\mathcal{H}^p$.
We show well-posedness for an evolution problem associated with the Dirichlet-to-Robin operator for certain Robin boundary data. Moreover, it turns out that the semigroup generated by the Dirichlet-to-Robin operator is closely related to a weighted semigroup of composition operators on an appropriate Banach space of analytic functions.
Here we consider when the difference of two composition operators is compact on the weighted Dirichlet spaces $\mathcal{D}_α$. Specifically we study differences of composition operators on the Dirichlet space $\mathcal{D}$ and $S^2$, the space of analytic functions whose first derivative is in $H^2$, and then use Calderón's complex interpolation to extend the results to the general weighted Dirichlet spaces. As a corollary we consider composition operators induced by linear fractional self-maps of the disk.
We show that a composition operator on weighted Bergman spaces $\mathcal{A}_μ^p$ is invertible if and only if it is Fredholm if and only if it is an isometry.
The spectra of invertible weighted composition operators $uC_φ$ on the Bloch and Dirichlet spaces are studied. In the Bloch case we obtain a complete description of the spectrum when $φ$ is a parabolic or elliptic automorphism of the unit disc. In the case of a hyperbolic automorphism $φ$, exact expressions for the spectral radii of invertible weighted composition operators acting on the Bloch and Dirichlet spaces are derived.
We investigate composition-differentiation operators acting on the Dirichlet space of the unit disk. Specifically, we determine characterizations for bounded, compact, and Hilbert-Schmidt composition-differentiation operators. In addition, for particular classes of inducing maps, we derive an adjoint formula, compute the norm, and identify the spectrum.
The aim of this paper is to study when two composition operators on the Hilbert space of Dirichlet series with square summable coefficients belong to the same component or when their difference is compact. As a corollary we show that if a linear combination of composition operators with polynomial symbols of degree at most 2 is compact, then each composition operator is compact.
We study boundedness and compactness of composition operators on weighted Bergman spaces of Dirichlet series. Particularly, we obtain in some specific cases, upper and lower bounds of the essential norm of these operators and a criterion of compactness on classicals weighted Bergman spaces. We study the decay of approximation numbers of compact composition operators on the Dirichlet space. We give upper and lower bounds for these numbers. In particular, we improve on a result of O. El-Fallah, K. Kellay, M. Shabankhah and A. Youssfi, on the set of contact points with the unit circle of a compact symbolic composition operator acting on the Dirichlet space D. We extend their results in two directions: first, the contact only takes place at the point 1. Moreover, the approximation numbers of the operator can be arbitrarily sub-exponentially small.
In this paper, we investigate when weighted composition operators acting on Dirichlet spaces $\mathcal{D}(\mathbb{B}_{N})$ are complex symmetric with respect to some special conjugations, and provide some characterizations of Hermitian weighted composition operators on $\mathcal{D}(\mathbb{B}_{N})$. We show that the decay of approximation numbers of compact composition operators on the Dirichlet space $\mathcal{D}$ can be as slow as we wish, which was left open in the cited work. We also prove the optimality of a result of O.~El-Fallah, K.~Kellay, M.~Shabankhah and A.~Youssfi on boundedness on $\mathcal{D}$ of self-maps of the disk all of whose powers are norm-bounded in $\mathcal{D}$.
By using the Schur test, we give some upper and lower estimates on the norm of a composition operator on $\mathcal{H}^2$, the space of Dirichlet series with square summable coefficients, for the inducing symbol $φ(s)=c_1+c_{q}q^{-s}$ where $q\geq 2$ is a fixed integer. We also give an estimate on the approximation numbers of such an operator.
We investigate the compactness of composition operators on the Hardy space of Dirichlet series induced by a map $φ(s)=c_0s+φ_0(s)$, where $φ_0$ is a Dirichlet polynomial. Our results depend heavily on the characteristic $c_0$ of $φ$ and, when $c_0=0$, on both the degree of $φ_0$ and its local behaviour near a boundary point. We also study the approximation numbers for some of these operators. Our methods involve geometric estimates of Carleson measures and tools from differential geometry.

We consider the space $\mathcal{H}(ces_p)$ of all Dirichlet series whose coefficients belong to the Cesàro sequence space $ces_p$, consisting of all complex sequences whose absolute Cesàro means are in $\ell^p$, for $1<p<\infty$. It is a Banach space of analytic functions, for which we study the maximal domain of analyticity and the boundedness of point evaluations. We identify the algebra of analytic multipliers on $\mathcal{H}(ces_p)$ as the Wiener algebra of Dirichlet series shifted to the vertical half-plane $\mathbb{C}_{1/q}:=\{s\in\mathbb{C}:\Re s>1/q\}$, where $1/p+1/q=1$.

As continuation of the study of polynomial approximation and composition operators on Dirichlet spaces of unit disk, which has settled a problem posed by Cima in 1976, the present paper aims to consider the case of the unbounded domains, such as the half-plane. Specifically, we may obtain the rational approximations in the Dirichlet spaces and characterize the composition operators which has dense range on the Dirichlet spaces over the half-plane. Moreover, this paper also considers the relationship between the Dirichlet spaces and Hardy spaces on half-plane.
We consider composition operators in the Dirichlet space of the unit disc in the plane. Various criteria on boundedness, compactness and Hilbert-Schmidt class membership are established. Some of these criteria are shown to be optimal.
We construct a one-parameter family of algebras consisting of Fourier integral operators. We derive boundedness results, composition rules, and the spectral invariance of this class of operators. The operator algebra is defined by the decay properties of an associated Gabor matrix around the graph of the canonical transformation.
In this paper, we introduce a general class of weighted spaces of holomorphic Dirichlet series (with real frequencies) analytic in some half-plane and study composition operators on these spaces. In the particular case when the symbol inducing the composition operator is an affine function, we give criteria for boundedness and compactness. We also study the cyclicity property and as a byproduct give a sufficient condition so that the direct sum of the identity plus a weighted forward shift operator on the Hardy space H^2 is cyclic.

We introduce a mean counting function for Dirichlet series, which plays the same role in the function theory of Hardy spaces of Dirichlet series as the Nevanlinna counting function does in the classical theory. The existence of the mean counting function is related to Jessen and Tornehave's resolution of the Lagrange mean motion problem. We show that the asymptotic behavior of the partial sums of a sequence of positive numbers determine the local behavior of the Hilbert space of Dirichlet series defined using these as weights. This extends results recently obtained describing the local behavior of Dirichlet series with square summable coefficients in terms of local integrability, boundary behavior, Carleson measures and interpolating sequences. The classical Dirichlet space is a complete Pick space, hence by a theorem of Agler and McCarthy, there exists an embedding $b$ of the unit disc into a $d$-dimensional ball such that composition with $b$ realizes the Dirichlet space as a quotient of the Drury-Arveson space. We show that $d =\infty$ is necessary, even if we only demand that composition with $b$ induces a surjective map between the multiplier algebras.

We compare the rate of decay of singular numbers of a given composition operator acting on various Hilbert spaces of analytic functions on the unit disk $\D$. We show that for the Hardy and Bergman spaces, our results are sharp. We also give lower and upper estimates of the singular numbers of the composition operator with symbol the ``cusp map'' and the lens maps, acting on weighted Dirichlet spaces.
