We compute the genus one family Gromov-Witten invariants of K3 surfaces for non-primitive classes. These calculations verify Gottsche-Yau-Zaslow formula for non-primitive classes with index two. Our approach is to use the genus two topological recursion formula and the symplectic sum formula to establish relationships among various generating functions.

We explicitly compute family GW invariants of elliptic surfaces for primitive classes. That involves establishing a TRR formula and a symplectic sum formula for elliptic surfaces and then determining the GW invariants using an argument from \cite{ip3}. In particular, as in \cite{bl1}, these calculations also confirm the well-known Yau-Zaslow Conjecture \cite{yz} for primitive classes in $K3$ surfaces.
Using Lagrangian Floer theory, we study the tropical geometry of K3 surfaces with general singular fibres. In particular, we give the local models for the type $I_n$, $II$, $III$ and $IV$ singular fibres in the Kodaira's classification and generalize the correspondence theorem between open Gromov-Witten invariants/tropical discs counting to these cases.
In this paper, we define two numbers. One comes from counting tropical curves with a stop and the other is the number of holomorphic discs in toric varieties with Lagrangian boundary condition. Both of these curves should satisfy some matching conditions. We show that these numbers coincide. These numbers can be considered as Gromov-Witten type invariants for holomorphic discs, and they have both similarities and differences to the counting numbers of closed holomorphic curves. We present an approach to a large class of enumerative problems concerning rational curves in projective spaces. This approach uses analysis to obtain topological information about moduli spaces of stable maps. We demonstrate it by enumerating one-component rational curves with a triple point or a tacnodal point in the three-dimensional projective space and with a cusp in any projective space.
We develop a technique to study curves in a variety which has a degeneration into some union of varieties. The class of such varieties is very broad, but the theory becomes particularly useful when the variety has a degeneration into a union of toric varieties. Hypersurfaces are typical examples, and we study lines on K3 surfaces and quintic Calabi-Yau hypersurfaces in detail. In particular, we combinatorially prove the existence of 2875 lines in a generic quintic Calabi-Yau 3-fold. Also, we give a geometric construction of walls in the Gross-Siebert construction of Calabi-Yau varieties.
We define a signed count of real rational pseudo-holomorphic curves appearing in a one-parameter family of real Spin symplectic K3 surfaces. We show that this count is an invariant of the deformation class of the family. In the case of a real projective K3 surface, this invariant specializes to count real rational curves appearing in a linear system on the surface.
Gross, Hacking, and Keel have constructed mirrors of log Calabi-Yau surfaces in terms of counts of rational curves. Using $q$-deformed scattering diagrams defined in terms of higher genus log Gromov-Witten invariants, we construct deformation quantizations of these mirrors and we produce canonical bases of the corresponding noncommutative algebras of functions.
We compute quantum cohomology ring of elliptic $\mathbb{P}^1$ orbifolds via orbi-curve counting. The main technique is the classification theorem which relates holomorphic orbi-curves with certain orbifold coverings. The countings of orbi-curves are related to the integer solutions of Diophantine equations. This reproduces the computation of Satake and Takahashi in the case of $\mathbb{P}^1_{3,3,3}$ via different method.
We construct invariants for any closed semipositive symplectic manifold which count rational curves satisfying tangency constraints to a local divisor. More generally, we introduce invariants involving multibranched local tangency constraints. We give a formula describing how these invariants arise as point constraints are pushed together in dimension four, and we use this to recursively compute all of these invariants in terms of Gromov--Witten invariants of blowups. As a key tool, we study analogous invariants which count punctured curves with negative ends on a small skinny ellipsoid.
There are two types of $J$-holomorphic spheres in a symplectic manifold invariant under an anti-symplectic involution: those that have a fixed point locus and those that do not. The former are described by moduli spaces of $J$-holomorphic disks, which are well studied in the literature.
