Resolvents of quasi-linear operators and operator algebras in Banach spaces over the quaternion field are investigated. Spectral theory of unbounded nonlinear operators in quaternion Banach spaces is studied. Strongly continuous semigroups of quaternion quasi-linear operators are investigated and the polar decomposition theorem for them is proved.

Algebras of operators in Banach spaces over the quaternion skew field and the octonion algebras

The article is devoted to quasilinear operators in spaces over quaternions and octonions. Spectral theory of bounded and unbounded operators is investigated. Analogs of C^* algebras are defined and studied. Among main results are analogs of the Gelfand-Mazur, Stone, Gelfand-Naimark-Segal, von Neumann, Kaplansky, etc. theorems, but here over the skew field of quaternions and the octonion algebra.

Integral equalities for functions of unbounded spectral operators in Banach spaces

We investigate a limiting procedure for extending local integral operator equalities to the global ones and to applying it to obtaining generalizations of the Newton-Leibnitz formula for operator-valued maps for a wide class of unbounded operators.

Unbounded derivations and -automorphisms groups of Banach quasi -algebras

This paper is devoted to the study of unbounded derivations on Banach quasi *-algebras with a particular emphasis to the case when they are infinitesimal generators of one parameter automorphisms groups. Both of them, derivations and automorphisms are considered in a weak sense; i.e., with the use of a certain families of bounded sesquilinear forms. Conditions for a weak *-derivation to be the generator of a *-automorphisms group are given.

On transitive operator algebras in real Banach spaces

We consider weakly closed transitive algebras of operators containing non-zero compact operators in real Banach spaces (Lomonosov algebras). It is shown that they are naturally divided in three classes: the algebras of real, complex and quaternion classes. The properties and characterizations of algebras in each class as well as some useful examples are presented. It is shown that in separable real Hilbert spaces there is a continuum of pairwise non-similar Lomonosov algebras of complex type and of quaternion type.

Tensor products of normed and Banach quasi *-algebras

Quasi *-algebras form an essential class of partial *-algebras, which are algebras of unbounded operators. In this work, we aim to construct tensor products of normed, respectively Banach quasi *-algebras, and study their capacity to preserve some important properties of their tensor factors, like for instance, *-semisimplicity and full representability.

Continuous slice functional calculus in quaternionic Hilbert spaces

The aim of this work is to define a continuous functional calculus in quaternionic Hilbert spaces, starting from basic issues regarding the notion of spherical spectrum of a normal operator. Additive mappings in algebras of unbounded operators preserving operators of rank one

Let $ \mathcal D$ be a dense linear manifold in a Hilbert space $\mathcal H$ and let $L^+(\mathcal D)$ be the *-algebra of all linear operators $A$ such that $A \mathcal D \subset \mathcal D, A^* \mathcal D \subset \mathcal D$. Denote by $F(\mathcal D)$ the *-ideal of $L^+(\mathcal D)$ consisting of all finite-rank operators. A characterization of the structure of additive mappings of $F(\mathcal D)$ preserving operators of rank one or projections of rank one is given. Stability radius and internal versus external stability in Banach spaces: an evolution semigroup approach

In this paper the theory of evolution semigroups is developed and used to provide a framework to study the stability of general linear control systems. These include time-varying systems modeled with unbounded state-space operators acting on Banach spaces.
