We consider the question of existence of a unique invariant probability distribution which satisfies some evolutionary property. The problem arises from the random graph theory but to answer it we treat it as a dynamical system in the functional space, where we look for a global attractor. We consider the following bifurcation problem: Given a probability measure $μ$, which corresponds to the weight distribution of a link of a random graph we form a positive linear operator $Φ$
(convolution) on distribution functions and then we analyze a family of its exponents with a parameter $λ$ which corresponds to connectivity of a sparse random graph. We prove that for every measure $μ$ (\emph{i.e.}, convolution $Φ$) and every $λ< e$ there exists a unique globally attracting fixed point of the operator, which yields the existence and uniqueness of the limit probability distribution on the random graph. This estimate was established earlier \cite{KarpSipser} for deterministic weight distributions (Dirac measures $μ$) and is known as $e$-cutoff phenomena, as for such distributions and
$λ>e$ there is no fixed point attractor. We thus establish this phenomenon in a much more general sense.

In this paper, we study queueing systems with delayed information that use a generalization of the multinomial logit choice model as its arrival process. Previous literature assumes that the functional form of the multinomial logit model is exponential. However, in this work we generalize this to different functional forms. In particular, we compute the critical delay and analyze how it depends on the choice of the functional form. We highlight how the functional form of the model can be interpreted as an exponential model where the exponential rate parameter is uncertain. Furthermore, the rat…
This paper proposes a unified approach for studying global exponential stability of a general class of switched systems described by time-varying nonlinear functional differential equations. Some new delay-independent criteria of global exponential stability are established for this class of systems under arbitrary switching which satisfies some assumptions on the average dwell time. The obtained criteria are shown to cover and improve many previously known results, including, in particular, sufficient conditions for absolute exponential stability of switched time-delay systems with sector non…
Sub-Poissonian estimates for exponential moments of additive functionals over pairs of particles with respect to determinantal and symplectic Pfaffian point processes governed by entire functions
By using large deviation theory that deals with the decay of probabilities of rare events on an exponential scale, we study the longtime behaviors and establish action functionals for scaled Brownian motion and Lévy processes with existing finite exponential moments. Based on extended contraction principle, Legendre transform and Lévy symbols, we derive the action functionals for stochastic differential equations driven by Lévy processes.
The properties of stability of compact set $\mathcal{K}$ which is positively invariant for a semiflow $(Ω\times W^{1,\infty}([-r,0],\mathbb{R}^n),Π,\mathbb{R}^+)$ determined by a family of nonautonomous FDEs with state-dependent delay taking values in $[0,r]$ are analyzed. The solutions of the variational equation through the orbits of $\mathcal{K}$ induce linear skew-product semiflows on the bundles $\mathcal{K}\times W^{1,\infty}([-r,0],\mathbb{R}^n)$ and $\mathcal{K}\times C([-r,0],\mathbb{R}^n)$. The coincidence of the upper-Lyapunov exponents for both semiflows is checked, and it is a fun…
We consider random dynamical systems on manifolds modeled by a skew product which have certain geometric properties and whose measures satisfy quenched decay of correlations at a sufficient rate. We prove that the limiting distribution for the hitting and return times to geometric balls are both exponential for almost every realisation. We then apply this result to random $C^2$ maps of the interval and random parabolic maps on the unit interval.
We obtain a unique, canonical one-to-one correspondence between the space of marked postcritically finite Newton maps of polynomials and the space of postcritically minimal Newton maps of entire maps that take the form $p(z) \text{exp}(q(z))$ for $p(z)$, $q(z)$ polynomials and $\text{exp}(z)$, the complex exponential function. This bijection preserves the dynamics and embedding of Julia sets and is induced by a surgery tool developed by Haïssinsky.
Let $f$ be a Hénon-Sibony map (regular polynomial automorphism) of $\mathbb{C}^k$ and let $μ$ be the equilibrium measure of $f$. In this paper we prove that $μ$ is exponentially mixing for plurisubharmonic test functions.
We show that an exponential map $f_c(z)=e^z+c$ whose singular value $c$ is combinatorially non-recurrent and non-escaping is uniquely determined by its combinatorics, i.e. the pattern in which its dynamic rays land together. We do this by constructing puzzles and parapuzzles in the exponential family. We also prove a theorem about hyperbolicity of the postsingular set in the case that the singular value is non-recurrent. Finally, we show that boundedness of the postsingular set implies combinatorial non-recurrence if $c$ is in the Julia set.
We consider parameters $λ$ for which $0$ is preperiodic under the map $z\mapstoλe^z$. Given $k$ and $l$, let $n(r)$ be the number of $λ$ satisfying $0<|λ|\leq r$ such that $0$ is mapped after $k$ iterations to a periodic point of period $l$. We determine the asymptotic behavior of $n(r)$ as $r$ tends to $\infty$.
