Let $(X, P)$ be a toric variety. In this note, we show that the $C^0$-norm of the Calabi flow $φ(t)$ on $X$ is uniformly bounded in $[0, T)$ if the Sobolev constant of $φ(t)$ is uniformly bounded in $[0, T)$. We also show that if $(X, P)$ is uniform $K$-stable, then the modified Calabi flow converges exponentially fast to an extremal Kähler metric if the Ricci curvature and the Sobolev constant are uniformly bounded. At last, we discuss an extension of our results to a quasi-proper Kähler manifold.

The self-similar solutions to the mean curvature flows have been defined and studied on the Euclidean space. In this paper we initiate a general treatment of the self-similar solutions to the mean curvature flows on Riemannian cone manifolds. As a typical result we extend the well-known result of Huisken about the asymptotic behavior for the singularities of the mean curvature flows. We also extend the results on special Lagrangian submanifolds on $\mathbb C^n$ to the toric Calabi-Yau cones over Sasaki-Einstein manifolds.

For the sake of hyperk{ä}hler SYZ conjecture, finding holomorphic Lagrangian fibrations becomes an important issue. Toric hyperk{ä}hler manifolds are real dimension $4n$ non-compact hyperk{ä}hler manifolds which are quaternion analog of toric varieties. The $n$ dimensional residue circle action on it admitting a hyperk{ä}hler moment map. We use the complex part of this moment map to construct a holomorphic Lagrangian fibration with generic fiber diffeomorphic to $(\mathbb{C}^*)^n$, and study the singular fibers.

We construct a geometric model of eight-dimensional manifolds and realize them in the context of type II string theory. These eight-manifolds are constructed by non-trivial $T^{4}$ fibrations over Calabi-Yau two-folds. These give rise to eight-dimensional non-Kahler Hermitian manifolds with $SU(4)$ structure. In this note, we study the SYZ mirror construction for a toric Calabi-Yau manifold using instanton corrections coming from Woodward's quasimap Floer theory instead of Fukaya-Oh-Ohta-Ono's Lagrangian Floer theory.
