Trivial construction of free associative conformal algebra

This note is to show the effectiveness of the notion of pseudoalgebra in the theory of conformal algebras. We adduce very simple construction of free associative conformal algebra and find its linear basis. There is no any new result but we hope that the technique could be useful for further development of the theory of conformal algebras and pseudoalgebras.

Theory of Finite Pseudoalgebras

Conformal algebras, recently introduced by Kac, encode an axiomatic description of the singular part of the operator product expansion in conformal field theory. The objective of this paper is to develop the theory of ``multi-dimensional'' analogues of conformal algebras. They are defined as Lie algebras in a certain ``pseudotensor'' category instead of the category of vector spaces. Classification of linearly compact simple Jordan and generalized Poisson superalgebras

We classify all linearly compact simple Jordan superalgebras over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero. As a corollary, we deduce the classification of all linearly compact unital simple generalized Poisson superalgebras.

Simple Conformal Algebras Generated by Jordan Algebras

In this article, we first give a short introduction to conformal algebras. Then we present three families of simple conformal algebras finite growth generated by simple Jordan algebras of types A, B, C.

Simplicities of VOAs Associated to Jordan Algebras of Type $B$ and Character Formulas for Simple Quotients

In ths paper we study the VOA $V_{\mathcal{J},r}$ constructed by Ashihara and Miyamoto, We construct simple quotients of $V_{\mathcal{J},r},r\in\mathbb{Z}_{\neq 0}$ explicitly using dual-pair type constructions. We also compute the character formula of the simple quotients when $r=-2n,n\geq 1$.

Simplicity of a vertex operator algebra whose Griess algebra is the Jordan algebra of symmetric matrices

Let $r \in \BC$ be a complex number, and $d \in \BZ_{\ge 2}$ a positive integer greater than or equal to 2. Ashihara and Miyamoto introduced a vertex operator algebra $\Vam$ of central charge $dr$, whose Griess algebra is isomorphic to the simple Jordan algebra of symmetric matrices of size $d$. In this paper, we prove that the vertex operator algebra $\Vam$ is simple if and only if $r$ is not an integer. Further, in the case that $r$ is an integer (i.e., $\Vam$ is not simple), we give a generator system of the maximal proper ideal $I_{r}$ of the VOA $\Vam$ explicitly.

Representations of the super Jordan plane

It is shown that the finite-dimensional simple representations of the super Jordan plane $B$ are one-dimensional. The indecomposable representations of dimension $2$ and $3$ of $B$ are classified. Two families of indecomposable representations of $B$ of arbitrary dimension are presented.

On the Bosonization of the Super Jordan Plane

Let $H$ and $K$ be the bosonizations of the Jordan and super Jordan plane by the group algebra of a cyclic group; the algebra $K$ projects onto an algebra $L$ that can be thought of as the quantum Borel of $\mathfrak{sl}(2)$ at $-1$. The finite-dimensional simple modules over $H$ and $K$, are classified; they all have dimension $1$, respectively $\le 2$. The indecomposable $L$-modules of dimension $\leq 5$ are also listed. An interesting monoidal subcategory of $\operatorname{rep} L$ is described.

Classification of linearly compact simple rigid superalgebras

The notion of an anti-commutative (resp. commutative) rigid superalgebra is a natural generalisation of the notion of a Lie (resp. Jordan) superalgebra. Intuitively rigidity means that small deformations of the product under the structural group produce an isomorphic algebra. In this paper we classify all linearly compact simple anti-commutative (resp. commutative) rigid superalgebras. Beyond Lie (resp. Jordan) superalgebras the complete list includes four series and twenty two exceptional superalgebras (resp. ten exceptional superalgebras).

$δ$-superderivations of semisimple Jordan superalgebras

We described $δ$-derivations and $δ$-superderivations of simple and semisimple finite-dimensional Jordan superalgebras over algebraic closed fields with characteristic $p\neq2$. We constructed new examples of 1/2-derivations and 1/2-superderivations of simple Zelmanov's superalgebra $V_{1/2}(Z,D).$

On the restricted Jordan plane in odd characteristic

Jordan-Hölder theorem for finite dimensional Hopf algebras

We show that a Jordan-Hölder theorem holds for appropriately defined composition series of finite dimensional Hopf algebras. This answers an open question of N. Andruskiewitsch. In the course of our proof we establish analogues of the Noether isomorphism theorems of group theory for arbitrary Hopf algebras under certain faithful (co)flatness assumptions. As an application, we prove an analogue of Zassenhaus' butterfly lemma for finite dimensional Hopf algebras. Deducing the symmetry of the standard model from the automorphism and structure groups of the exceptional Jordan algebra

We continue the study undertaken in \cite{DV} of the exceptional Jordan algebra $J = J_3^8$ as (part of) the finite-dimensional quantum algebra in an almost classical space-time approach to particle physics. Along with reviewing known properties of $J$ and of the associated exceptional Lie groups we argue that the symmetry of the model can be deduced from the Borel-de Siebenthal theory of maximal connected subgroups of simple compact Lie groups.

On the finite-dimensional representations of the double of the Jordan plane

We continue the study of the Drinfeld double of the Jordan plane, denoted by $\mathcal D$ and introduced in arXiv:2002.02514. The simple finite-dimensional modules were computed in arXiv:2108.13849; it turns out that they factorize through $U(\spl_2(\Bbbk))$. Here we introduce the Verma modules and the category $\mathfrak O$ for $\mathcal D$, which have a resemblance to the similar ones in Lie theory but induced from indecomposable modules of the 0-part of the triangular decomposition.
