Differentiability of quantum moment maps

We study quantum moment maps of $G$-invariant star products, which are a quantum analogue of the moment map for classical Hamiltonian systems. Introducing an integral representation, we show that any quantum moment map for a $G$-invariant star product is differentiable. This property gives us a new method for the classification of $G$-invariant star products on regular coadjoint orbits of compact semisimple Lie groups.

Manin pairs and moment maps

A Lie group G in a group pair (D,G), integrating a Lie algebra g in a Manin pair (d,g) has a quasi-Poisson structure. We define the quasi-Poisson actions of such Lie groups G, that generalize the Poisson actions of Poisson Lie groups. We define and study the moment maps for those quasi-Poisson actions which are quasi-hamiltonian. These moment maps take values in the homogeneous space D/G. We prove an analogue of the hamiltonian reduction theorem for quasi-Poisson group actions, and we study the symplectic leaves of the orbit spaces of quasi-hamiltonian spaces.

A categorical approach to quantum moment maps

We introduce quantum versions of Manin pairs and Manin triples and define quantum moment maps in this context. This provides a framework that incorporates quantum moment maps for actions of Lie algebras and quantum groups for any quantum parameter. We also show how our quantum moment maps degenerate to known classical versions of moment maps and describe their fusion.

A cohomological framework for homotopy moment maps

Given a Lie group acting on a manifold $M$ preserving a closed $n+1$-form $ω$, the notion of homotopy moment map for this action was introduced in Callies-Fregier-Rogers-Zambon [6], in terms of $L_{\infty}$-algebra morphisms. In this note we describe homotopy moment maps as coboundaries of a certain complex. This description simplifies greatly computations, and we use it to study various properties of homotopy moment maps: their relation to equivariant cohomology, their obstruction theory, how they induce new ones on mapping spaces, and their equivalences. Quantum moment maps and invariants for G-invariant star products

We study a quantum moment map and propose an invariant for $G$-invariant star products on a $G$-transitive symplectic manifold. We start by describing a new method to construct a quantum moment map for $G$-invariant star products of Fedosov type. We use it to obtain an invariant that is invariant under $G$-equivalence. In the last section we give two simple examples of such invariants, which involve non-classical terms and provide new insights into the classification of $G$-invariant star products.

Products of multisymplectic manifolds and homotopy moment maps

Multisymplectic geometry admits an operation that has no counterpart in symplectic geometry, namely, taking the product of two multisymplectic manifolds endowed with the wedge product of the multisymplectic forms. We show that there is an L-infinity-embedding of the L-infinity-algebra of observables of the individual factors into the observables of the product, and that homotopy moment maps for the individual factors induce a homotopy moment map for the product. Dual pairs of quantum moment maps and doubles of Hopf algebras

For any finite-dimensional Hopf algebra $A$ there exists a natural associative algebra homomorphism $D(A) \to H(A)$ between its Drinfeld double $D(A)$ and its Heisenberg double $H(A)$. We construct this homomorphism using a pair of commuting quantum moment maps, and then use it to provide a homomorphism of certain reflection equation algebras. We also explain how the quantization of the Grothendieck-Springer resolution arises in this context.

Fedosov *-products and quantum momentum maps

We study various aspects of Fedosov star-products on symplectic manifolds. By introducing the notion of "quantum exponential maps", we give a criterion characterizing Fedosov connections. As a consequence, a geometric realization is obtained for the equivalence between an arbitrary *-product and a Fedosov one. Every Fedosov *-product is shown to be a Vey *-product. Consequently, one obtains that every *-product is equivalent to a Vey * -product, a classical result of Lichnerowicz. Lie Group Valued Moment Maps

We develop a theory of "quasi"-Hamiltonian G-spaces for which the moment map takes values in the group G itself rather than in the dual of the Lie algebra. The theory includes counterparts of Hamiltonian reductions, the Guillemin-Sternberg symplectic cross-section theorem and of convexity properties of the moment map. As an application we obtain moduli spaces of flat connections on an oriented compact 2-manifold with boundary as quasi-Hamiltonian quotients of the space G^2 x ... x G^2.
