Action of Coxeter groups on m-harmonic polynomials and KZ equations

The Matsuo-Cherednik correspondence is an isomorphism from solutions of Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equations to eigenfunctions of generalized Calogero-Moser systems associated to Coxeter groups G and a multiplicity function m on their root systems. We apply this correspondence to the most degenerate case of zero spectral parameters. The space of eigenfunctions is then the space H_m of m-harmonic polynomials, recently introduced in math-ph/0105014. We compute the Poincare' polynomials for the space H_m and of its isotypical components corresponding to each irreducible representation of the group G. We also give an explicit formula for m-harmonic polynomials of lowest positive degree in the S_n case.

Quasiharmonic polynomials for Coxeter groups and representations of Cherednik algebras

We introduce and study deformations of finite-dimensional modules over rational Cherednik algebras. Our main tool is a generalization of usual harmonic polynomials for Coxeter groups -- the so-called quasiharmonic polynomials. A surprising application of this approach is the construction of canonical elementary symmetric polynomials and their deformations for all Coxeter groups.

Kazhdan Lusztig and R polynomials of generalized Temperley Lieb algebras

We study two families of polynomials that play the same role, in the generalized Temperley Lieb algebra of a Coxeter group, as the Kazhdan Lusztig and R polynomials in the Hecke algebra of the group. Our results include recursions, closed formulas, and other combinatorial properties for these polynomials. We focus mainly on non branching Coxeter graphs.

Leading Coefficients of Kazhdan--Lusztig Polynomials in Type $D$

In this paper we first present a Birman-Murakami-Wenzl type algebra for every Coxeter system of rank 2 (corresponding to dihedral groups). Singular polynomials from orbit spaces

We consider the polynomial representation S(V*) of the rational Cherednik algebra H_c(W) associated to a finite Coxeter group W at constant parameter c. We show that for any degree d of W and nonnegative integer m the space S(V*) contains a single copy of the reflection representation V of W spanned by the homogeneous singular polynomials of degree d-1+hm, where h is the Coxeter number of W; these polynomials generate an H_c(W) submodule with the parameter c=(d-1)/h+m. Leading coefficients of Kazhdan--Lusztig polynomials and fully commutative elements

Let $W$ be a Coxeter group of type $\widetilde{A}_{n-1}$. We show that the leading coefficient, $μ(x, w)$, of the Kazhdan--Lusztig polynomial $P_{x, w}$ is always equal to 0 or 1 if $x$ is fully commutative (and $w$ is arbitrary).

Skew divided difference operators in the Nichols algebra associated to a finite Coxeter group

Let $(W,S)$ be a finite Coxeter system with root system $R$ and with set of positive roots $R^+$. Generalized Jones traces and Kazhdan--Lusztig bases

We develop some applications of certain algebraic and combinatorial conditions on the elements of Coxeter groups, such as elementary proofs of the positivity of certain structure constants for the associated Kazhdan--Lusztig basis. We also explore some consequences of the existence of a Jones-type trace on the Hecke algebra of a Coxeter group, such as simple procedures for computing leading terms of certain Kazhdan--Lusztig polynomials. The q-harmonic oscillator and an analog of the Charlier polynomials

A model of a q-harmonic oscillator based on q-Charlier polynomials of Al-Salam and Carlitz is discussed. Simple explicit realization of q-creation and q-annihilation operators, q-coherent states and an analog of the Fourier transformation are found. A connection of the kernel of this transform with biorthogonal rational functions is observed.

Confluent hypergeometric orthogonal polynomials related to the rational quantum Calogero system with harmonic confinement

Two families (type $A$ and type $B$) of confluent hypergeometric polynomials in several variables are studied. We describe the orthogonality properties, differential equations, and Pieri type recurrence formulas for these families.
