In this paper, using the Atiyah-Ward equivalence and a theorem of Hitchin, one makes to correspond to certain bundles on the projective space, which are extensions of instanton bundles (in particular, these new bundles may have the first Chern class not congruent to 0 modulo the rank), bundles on the grassmanian Gr(2,4) or on the sphere S4, equiped with certain connections constructed from data associated to the bundle. Monads for these extensions are described.

Instanton Correction, Wall Crossing And Mirror Symmetry Of Hitchin's Moduli Spaces

We study two instanton correction problems of Hitchin's moduli spaces along with their wall crossing formulas. The hyperkahler metric of a Hitchin's moduli space can be put into an instanton-corrected form according to physicists Gaiotto, Moore and Neitzke. The problem boils down to the construction of a set of special coordinates which can be constructed as Fock-Goncharov coordinates associated with foliations of quadratic differentials on a Riemann surface. A foliated Hitchin-Kobayashi correspondence

We prove an analogue of the Hitchin-Kobayashi correspondence for compact, oriented, taut Riemannian foliated manifolds with transverse Hermitian structure. In particular, our Hitchin-Kobayashi theorem holds on any compact Sasakian manifold. We define the notion of stability for foliated Hermitian vector bundles with transverse holomorphic structure and prove that such bundles admit a basic Hermitian-Einstein connection if and only if they are polystable. Independent parameters for special instanton bundles on P^{2n+1}

Motivated by Yang-Mills theory in 4n dimensions, and generalizing the notion due to Atiyah, Drinfeld, Hitchin and Manin for n=1, Okonek, Spindler and Trautmann introduced instanton bundles and special instanton bundles as certain algebraic vector bundles of rank 2n on the complex projective space P^{2n+1}. The moduli space of special instanton bundles is shown to be rational.

Kobayashi-Hitchin correspondence for analytically stable bundles

We prove the existence of a Hermitian-Einstein metric on holomorphic vector bundles with a Hermitian metric satisfying the analytic stability condition, under some assumption for the underlying Kähler manifolds. We also study the curvature decay of the Hermitian-Einstein metrics. It is useful for the study of the classification of instantons and monopoles on the quotient of $4$-dimensional Euclidean space by some types of closed subgroups. We also explain examples of doubly periodic monopoles corresponding to some algebraic data.

The main tool in Ngô Bao Châu's proof of the Langlands-Shelstad fundamental lemma, is a theorem on the support of the relative cohomology of the elliptic part of the Hitchin fibration. For GL(n) and a divisor of degree >2g-2, the theorem says that the relative cohomology is completely determined by its restriction to any dense open subset of the base of the Hitchin fibration. In this note we would like to present in this particular case, our extension of that theorem to the whole Hitchin fibration, including the global nilpotent cone.

Hitchin's connection and differential operators with values in the determinant bundle

Let $C/M$ be a local universal family of smooth curves and $S/M$ be the family of moduli spaces of stable bundles with a fixed determinant on curves. In this paper, we find locally free sheaves $\Cal G_E$, $S(\Cal G_E)$ on $X=C\times_M S$ such that their first direct images are isomorphic to sheaves $\Cal D^{\le 1}_{S/M}(Θ)$, $\Cal D^{\le 1}_S(Θ)$ of 1-st order differential operators on the theta line bundle over $S$. Bridgeland stability of minimal instanton bundles on Fano threefolds

We prove that minimal instanton bundles on a Fano threefold $X$ of Picard rank one and index two are semistable objects in the Kuznetsov component $\mathsf{Ku}(X)$, with respect to the stability conditions constructed by Bayer, Lahoz, Macrì and Stellari. When the degree of $X$ is at least $3$, we show torsion free generalizations of minimal instantons are also semistable objects. As a result, we describe the moduli space of semistable objects with same numerical classes as minimal instantons in $\mathsf{Ku}(X)$. We also investigate the stability of acyclic extensions of non-minimal instantons.

Instanton bundles on the flag variety F(0,1,2)
