We construct a family of points on the Lagrangian cone of a partial flag bundle associated to a (possibly non-split) vector bundle from any Weyl-invariant $I$-function of a prequotient. This result can be seen as the nonabelian analogue of the mirror theorem for projective bundles in arXiv:2307.03696, and generalizes Oh's mirror theorem for split partial flag bundles in arXiv:1607.08326.
We introduce a superpotential for partial flag varieties of type $A$. This is a map $W: Y^\circ \to \mathbb{C}$, where $Y^\circ$ is the complement of an anticanonical divisor on a product of Grassmannians. The map $W$ is expressed in terms of Plücker coordinates of the Grassmannian factors. This construction generalizes the Marsh--Rietsch Plücker coordinate mirror for Grassmannians. We show that in a distinguished cluster chart for $Y$, our superpotential agrees with earlier mirrors constructed by Eguchi--Hori--Xiong and Batyrev--Ciocan-Fontanine--Kim--van Straten. Our main tool is quantum Sch…
We introduce analogs of the Kempf--Laksov desingularizations of Schubert bundles in (non-necessary Lagrangian) symplectic Grassmann bundles. In this setting, these are (possibly singular) irreducible flag bundles that are birational to Schubert bundles, and can be described as chains of zero-loci of regular sections in projectivized bundles. The orthogonal analogs are also presented. We immediatly derive universal Gysin formulas for isotropic Schubert bundles from these very constructions.
Given a flag variety $Fl(n;r_1, \dots , r_ρ)$, there is natural ring morphism from the symmetric polynomial ring in $r_1$ variables to the quantum cohomology of the flag variety. In this paper, we show that for a large class of partitions $λ$, the image of $s_λ$ under the ring homomorphism is a Schubert class which is described by partitioning $λ$ into a quantum hook (or $q$-hook) and a tuple of smaller partitions. We use this result to show that the Plücker coordinate mirror of the flag variety describes quantum cohomology relations. This gives new insight into the structure of this superpote…
Intersection rings of flag varieties and of isotropic flag varieties are generated by Chern classes of the tautological bundles modulo the relations coming from multiplicativity of total Chern classes. In this paper we describe the Groebner bases of the ideals of relations and give applications to computation of intersections, as implemented in Macaulay2.
We prove Rietsch's mirror conjecture that the Dubrovin quantum connection for minuscule flag varieties is isomorphic to the character D-module of the Berenstein-Kazhdan geometric crystal. The idea is to recognize the quantum connection as Galois and the geometric crystal as automorphic. We reveal surprising relations with the works of Frenkel-Gross, Heinloth-Ngô-Yun, and Zhu on Kloosterman sheaves. The isomorphism comes from global rigidity results where Hecke eigensheaves are determined by their local ramification. As corollaries we obtain combinatorial identities for counts of rational curve…
We study the null-cone of a semi-simple algebraic group acting on a number of copies of its Lie algebra via the diagonal adjoint action. We show that the null cone has rational singularities in the case of SL3. We observe by example that the null-cone is not normal in general and that the normalization of the null-cone does not have rational singularities in general. This is achieved by computing cohomology of certain vector bundles on flag varieties.
Aganagic and Okounkov proved that the elliptic stable envelope provides the pole cancellation matrix for the enumerative invariants of quiver varieties known as vertex functions. This transforms a basis of a system of $q$-difference equations holomorphic in $\boldsymbol{z}$ with poles in $\boldsymbol{a}$ to a basis of solutions holomorphic in $\boldsymbol{a}$ with poles in $\boldsymbol{z}$. The resulting functions are expected to be the vertex functions of the 3d mirror dual variety. In this paper, we prove that for the cotangent bundle of the full flag variety, the functions obtained in this …
We consider the system of quantum differential equations for a partial flag variety and construct a basis of solutions in the form of multidimensional hypergeometric functions, that is, we construct a Landau-Ginzburg mirror for that partial flag variety. In our construction, the solutions are labeled by elements of the $K$-theory algebra of the partial flag variety. To establish these facts we consider the equivariant quantum differential equations for a partial flag variety and introduce a compatible system of difference equations, which we call the qKZ equations. We construct a basis of solu…
