We consider tunnel ionization of atomic argon in a femtosecond laser pulse of intensity $10^{21}-10^{22}{\rm W/cm}^2$ aiming to investigate the relativistic dynamics and radiation of photoelectrons released from their parent ions inside the laser focus. Radiation of such electrons accelerated along the laser field propagation direction appears to have moderate power but can be considerably enhanced by a collision with a relatively weak counter-propagating laser pulse. Using the theory of laser-induced tunneling in atoms and ions and that of nonlinear Thomson scattering, we demonstrate that angular distributions and spectra of emitted photons can serve as a probe of the peak intensity in the focus. The angular distribution of emitted radiation in the plane of polarization and propagation of the ionizing laser beam appears narrow and peaked around an intensity-dependent angle, making this ionization setup a source of collimated XUV radiation.
Based on the strong-field approximation, we obtain analytical expressions for the initial momentum at the tunnel exit and instantaneous ionization rate of tunneling ionization in elliptically polarized laser fields with arbitrary ellipticity. The tunneling electron reveals a nonzero offset of the initial momentum at the tunnel exit in the elliptically polarized laser field. We find that the transverse and longitudinal components of this momentum offset with respect to the instantaneous field direction are directly related to the time derivatives of the instantaneous laser electric field along …
When an electron is emitted from a sub-valence shell, a vacancy is created and there is a not-null probability for different post collisional ionization (PCI) processes giving rise to a higher target charge state. It is reasonable to consider that PCI is a time-delayed electron emission and, therefore, independent of the projectile. We include the tables of the branching ratios of $0-6$ post-collisionally emitted electrons after single ionization of Ne, Ar, Kr and Xe in different inner shells. These values have already been employed with good results in previous calculations of multiple ioniza…
Using a three-dimensional quasiclassical technique we explore molecular double ionization by a linearly polarized, infrared (800~nm) 27~fs laser pulse. For intensities ranging from the tunneling to the over-the-barrier regime, we identify the double ionization pathways in a unified way as a function of total electron energy. For the tunneling regime, we discuss the differences in the interplay of double ionization (DI) pathways between strongly driven He and strongly driven $N_{2}$. For intermediate intensities in the over-the-barrier regime, we find that both the correlated momenta and the do…
Tunnel ionization rates of triplet Rydberg states in helium with principal quantum numbers close to 37 have been measured in electric fields at the classical ionization threshold of $\sim197$ V/cm. The measurements were performed in the time domain by combining high-resolution continuous-wave laser photoexcitation and pulsed electric field ionization. The observed tunnel ionization rates range from $10^5$ s$^{-1}$ to $10^7$ s$^{-1}$ and have, together with the measured atomic energy-level structure in the corresponding electric fields, been compared to the results of calculations of the eigenv…
We introduce a method to investigate the longitudinal momentum spread resulting from strong-field tunnel ionization of Helium which, unlike other methods, is valid for all ellipticities of laser pulse. Semiclassical models consisting of tunnel ionization followed by classical propagation in the combined ion and laser field reproduce the experimental results if an initial longitudinal spread at the tunnel exit is included. The values for this spread are found to be of the order of twice the transverse momentum spread.
The importance of multi-electron dynamics during the tunnel ionization of a correlated quantum system is investigated. By comparison of the solution of the time-dependent Schrödinger equation (TDSE) with the time-dependent configuration interaction singles approach (TDCIS), we demonstrate the importance of a multi-electron description of the tunnel ionization process especially for weakly confined quantum systems. Within this context, we observe that adiabatic driving by an intense light field can even enhance the correlations between still trapped electrons.
We take advantage of the information provided by use of elliptical polarization in a recent two-electron release time experiment [A.N. Pfeiffer et al., Nature Physics 7, 428 (2011)]. This allows a comparative test of the currently dominant conjectures regarding independent-electron tunneling theory vs. fully electron-correlated classical release theory to describe electron release in strong-field double ionization.
We discuss the possibility of non-exponential tunneling ionization of atoms irradiated by intense laser field. This effect can occur at times, which are greater than the lifetime of a system under consideration. The mechanism for non-exponential depletion of an initial quasi-stationary state is the cutting of the energy spectrum of final continuous states at long times. We first consider the known examples of cold emission of electrons from metal, tunneling alpha-decay of atomic nuclei, spontaneous decay in two-level systems and the single-photon atomic ionization by a weak electromagnetic fie…
We propose a method to study the tunneling process by analyzing the time-dependent ionization yield in circularly polarized laser. A numerical calculation shows that for an atom exposed to a long laser pulse, if its initial electronic state wave function is non-spherical symmetric, the delayed phase shift of the ionization rate vs. the laser cycle period in real time in the region close to the peak intensity of the laser pulse can be used to probe the tunneling time. In this region, an obvious delay phase shift is observed, showing the tunneling time is in order of tens of attoseconds. Further…
A generalized ADK (Ammosov-Delone-Krainov) theory for ionization of open shell atoms is compared to ionization experiments performed on the transition metal atoms V, Ni, Pd, Ta, and Nb. Our theory is found to be in good agreement for V, Ni, Pd, and Ta, whereas conventional ADK theory overestimates ionization by orders of magnitude. The key to understanding the observed ionization reduction is the angular momentum barrier. Our analysis shows that the determination of the angular momentum barrier in open shell atoms is nontrivial. The Stark shift is identified as the second dominant effect respo…
We investigated electron emissions in strong field enhanced ionization of asymmetric diatomic molecules by quantum calculations. It is demonstrated that the widely-used intuitive physical pic- ture, i.e., electron wave packet direct ionization from the up-field site (DIU), is incomplete. Besides DIU, we find another two new ionization channels, the field-induced excitation with subsequent ionization from the down-field site (ESID), and the up-field site (ESIU). The contributions from these channels depend on the molecular asymmetry and internuclear distance. Our work provides a more comprehens…
The tunneling ionization of exotic atoms such as muonic hydrogen, muonium and positronium in a strong laser field of circular polarization is investigated taking into account the impact of the motion of the center of mass on the the tunneling ionization dynamics. The momentum partition between the ionization products is deduced. The effect of the center of mass motion for the momentum distribution of the ionization components is determined. The effect scales with the ratio of the electron (muon) to the atomic core masses and is nonnegligible for exotic atoms, while being insignificant for comm…
Recent attoclock experiments and theoretical studies regarding the strong-field ionization of atoms by few-cycle infrared pulses revealed new features that have attracted much attention. Here we investigate tunneling ionization and the dynamics of the electron probability using Bohmian Mechanics. We consider a one-dimensional problem to illustrate the underlying mechanisms of the ionization process. It is revealed that in the major part of the below-the-barrier ionization regime, in an intense and short infrared pulse, the electron does not tunnel \through" the entire barrier, but rather alrea…
A new High Harmonic Generation (HHG) scheme, which doesn't rely on Tunnel-Ionization as the ionization mechanism but rather on Single-Photon Ionization, is theoretically proposed and numerically demonstrated. The scheme uses two driver fields: an extreme-ultraviolet driver which induces the ionization, and a circularly-polarized, co-rotating, two-color infrared driver carried at a fundamental frequency and its second harmonic which induces the recollision. Using Classical and time-dependent Schrödinger equation simulations of a model Argon atom, we show that in this scheme ionization is essent…
After electrons tunnel out of a laser-Coulomb-formed barrier, %formed by the strong laser field and the atomic Coulomb potential, the movement of the tunneling electron can be affected by the Coulomb tail. We show that this Coulomb effect induces a large time difference (longer than a hundred attoseconds) between the exiting time at which the electron exits the barrier and the ionization time at which the electron is free. This large time difference has important influences on strong-field processes such as above-threshold ionization and high-harmonic generation, with remarkably changing time-…
The elaborate energy and momentum spectra of ionized electrons from atoms in laser fields suggest that the ionization dynamics described by tunneling theory should be modified. Although many efforts have been done within semiclassical models, there are few discussions describing multiphoton absorption process with quantum framework. In this letter, by comparing the results obtained with the time-dependent Schrodinger equation (TDSE) and Keldysh-Faisal-Reiss (KFR) theory, we have studied the nonperturbative effects of ionization dynamics beyond KFR theory. The difference in momentum spectra bet…
We study ionization of atoms in strong two-dimensional (2D) laser fields with various forms, numerically and analytically. We focus on the local most-probable tunneling routes (some specific electron trajectories) which are corresponding to the local maxima of photoelectron momentum distributions (PMDs). By making classic-quantum correspondence, we obtain a condition for these routes characterized by the electron position at the tunnel exit. With comparing the identified routes with the classical limit and the partial-decoupling approximation where it is assumed that tunneling is dominated by …
The problem of time delay in tunneling ionization is revisited. The origin of time delay at the tunnel exit is analysed, underlining the two faces of the concept of the tunnelling time delay: the time delay around the tunnel exit and the asymptotic time delay at a detector. We show that the former time delay, in the sense of a delay in the peak of the wavefunction, exists as a matter of principle and arises due to the sub-barrier interference of the reflected and transmitted components of the tunneling electronic wavepacket. We exemplify this by describing the tunnelling ionization of an elect…
We study ionization of atoms in strong elliptically-polarized laser fields. We focus on the physical origin of the offset angle in the photoelectron momentum distribution and its possible relation to a specific time. By developing a model which is based on strong-field approximation and considers the classical Coulomb scattering, we are able to quantitatively explain recent attoclock experiments in a wide region of laser and atomic parameters. The offset angle can be understood as arising from the scattering of the electron by the ionic potential when the electron exits the laser-Coulomb-forme…
More than 100 years after its discovery and its explanation in the energy domain, the duration of the photoelectric effect is still heavily studied. The emission time of a photoelectron can be quantified by the Wigner time delay. Experiments addressing this time delay for single-photon ionization became feasible during the last 10 years. A missing piece, which has not been studied, so far, is the Wigner time delay for strong-field ionization of molecules. Here we show experimental data on the Wigner time delay for tunnel ionization of $H_{2}$ molecules and demonstrate its dependence on the emi…
Study on ionization process of molecules in an intense infrared laser field is of paramount interest in strong-field physics and constitutes the foundation of imaging of molecular valence orbitals and attosecond science. We show measurement of alignment-dependent ionization probabilities of the lower-lying orbitals of the molecules by experimentally detecting alignment-dependence of fluorescence emission from tunnel ionized carbon dioxide molecules. The experimental measurements are compared with the theoretical calculations of strong field approximation (SFA) and molecular ADK models. Our res…
Tunnel ionization belongs to the fundamental processes of atomic physics. The so-called two-step model, which describes the ionization as instantaneous tunneling at the electric field maximum and classical motion afterwards with zero exit momentum, is commonly employed to describe tunnel ionization in adiabatic regimes. In this contribution, we show by solving numerically the time-dependent Schrödinger equation in one dimension and employing a virtual detector at the tunnel exit that there is a nonvanishing positive time delay between the electric field maximum and the instant of ionization. M…
We present results of high-resolution experiments on single ionization of He, Ne and Ar by ultra-short (25 fs, 6 fs) 795 nm laser pulses at intensities 0.15-2.0x10^15 W/cm^2. We show that the ATI-like pattern can survive deep in the tunneling regime and that the atomic structure plays an important role in the formation of the low-energy photoelectron spectra even at high intensities. The absence of ponderomotive shifts, the splitting of the peaks and their degeneration for few-cycle pulses indicate that the observed structures originate from a resonant process.
We present both full quantum mechanical and semiclassical calculations of above threshold ionization (ATI) of a hydrogen atom in the tunneling regime by a few-cycle linearly polarized infrared laser pulse. As a quantum treatment, we applied the direct integration of the time dependent Schrödinger equation (TDSE). In the semiclassical approximation (SCA), it is assumed that wavepacket propagation in the post-tunneling process can be well described within the classical framework. With these two methods, we analyze the similarities and deviations for ionization of the hydrogen atom. We found that…

We investigate the ionization dynamics of Argon atoms irradiated by an ultrashort intense laser of a wavelength up to 3100 nm, addressing the momentum distribution of the photoelectrons with near-zero-energy. We find a surprising accumulation in the momentum distribution corresponding to meV energy and a \textquotedblleft V"-like structure at the slightly larger transverse momenta. Semiclassical simulations indicate the crucial role of the Coulomb attraction between the escaping electron and the remaining ion at extremely large distance. Tracing back classical trajectories, we find the tunneli…
We report on three-dimensional (3D) electron momentum distributions from single ionization of helium by a laser pulse consisting of two counterrotating circularly polarized fields (390 nm and 780 nm). A pronounced 3D low energy structure and sub-cycle interferences are observed experimentally and reproduced numerically using a trajectory based semi-classical simulation. The orientation of the low energy structure in the polarization plane is verified by numerical simulations solving the time dependent Schrödinger equation.
We investigate the physical processes in which an electron, upon return to its parent ion, promotes a second electron to an excited state, from which it subsequently tunnels. Employing the strong-field approximation and saddle-point methods, we perform a detailed analysis of the dynamics of the two electrons, in terms of quantum orbits, and delimit constraints for their momentum components parallel to the laser-field polarization. The kinetic energy of the first electron, upon return, exhibits a cutoff slightly lower than $10U_p$, where $U_p$ is the ponderomotive energy, as in rescattered abov…
The Salecker-Wigner-Peres quantum-clock approach is applied in order to determine the tunneling time of an electron in strong-field tunnel ionization via a time-dependent electric field. Our results show that the ionization of the electron takes a nonvanishing period of time. This tunneling time is of the order of the Keldysh time but strictly larger than the Keldysh time. Comparing the quantum-clock tunneling time to the mean tunneling time as obtained by the virtual-detector approach, one finds that these two complementary methods give very similar results. Due to the asymmetric distribution…
Interaction of a strong laser pulse with matter transfers not only energy but also linear momentum of the photons. Recent experimental advances have made it possible to detect the small amount of linear momentum delivered to the photoelectrons in strong-field ionization of atoms. We present numerical simulations as well as an analytical description of the subcycle phase (or time) resolved momentum transfer to an atom accessible by an attoclock protocol. We show that the light-field-induced momentum transfer is remarkably sensitive to properties of the ultrashort laser pulse such as its carrier…
Ionization of an atom or molecule presents surprising richness beyond our current understanding: strong-field ionization with low-frequency fields recently revealed unexpected kinetic energy structures (1, 2). A solid grasp on electron dynamics is however pre-requisite for attosecond-resolution recollision imaging (3), orbital tomography (4), for coherent sources of keV light (5), or to produce zeptosecond-duration x-rays (6). We present a methodology that enables scrutinizing strong-field dynamics at an unprecedented level. Our method provides high-precision measurements only 1 meV above the …
Interaction of a strong laser pulse with matter transfers not only energy but also linear momentum of the photons. Recent experimental advances have made it possible to detect the small amount of linear momentum delivered to the photoelectrons in strong-field ionization of atoms. Linear momentum transfer is a unique signature of the laser-atom interaction beyond its dipolar limit. Here, we present a decomposition of the subcycle time-resolved linear momentum transfer in term of its multipolar components. We show that the magnetic dipole contribution dominates the linear momentum transfer durin…
It is well-known from numerical and experimental results that the fraction of Rydberg states (excited neutral atoms) created by tunnel ionization declines dramatically with increasing ellipticity of laser light. We present a method to analyze this dependence on ellipticity, deriving a probability distribution of Rydberg states that agrees closely with recent experimental [1] and numerical results. In particular, contradicting the existing proposed mechanism [1] and general expectations, our results indicate that the dependence of Rydberg yield on laser ellipticity is not caused by a rescatteri…
Molecules show a much increased multiple ionization rate in a strong laser field as compared to atoms of similar ionization energy. A widely accepted model attributes this to the action of the joint fields of the adjacent ionic core and the laser on its neighbor inside the same molecule. The underlying physical picture for the enhanced ionization is that the up-field atom that gets ionized. However, this is still debated and remains unproven. Here we report an experimental verification of this long-standing prediction. This is accomplished by probing the two-site double ionization of ArXe, whe…
When a strong laser pulse induces the ionization of an atom, momentum conservation dictates that the absorbed photons transfer their momentum $p_γ=E_γ/c$ to the electron and its parent ion. Even after 30 years of studying strong-field ionization, the sharing of the photon momentum between the two particles and its underlying mechanism are still under debate in theory. Corresponding experiments are very challenging due to the extremely small photon momentum ($~10^{-4}$ a.u.) and their precision has been too limited, so far, to ultimately resolve the debate. Here, by utilizing a novel experiment…
The photoelectron momentum distribution in the strong-field ionization has a variety of structures that reveal the complicated dynamics of this process. Recently, we identified a low-energy interference structure in the case of a super-intense extreme ultraviolet (XUV) laser pulse and attributed it to the laser-induced electron Fresnel diffraction. This structure is determined by the laser-induced electron displacement [Geng L et al. 2021 Phys. Rev. A 104(2) L021102]. In the present work, we find that the Fresnel diffraction picture is also present in the tunneling and over-barrier regime of i…
Tunneling times in atomic ionization are studied theoretically by a virtual detector approach. A virtual detector is a hypothetical device that allows one to monitor the wave function's density with spatial and temporal resolution during the ionization process. With this theoretical approach, it becomes possible to define unique moments when the electron enters and leaves with highest probability the classically forbidden region from first principles and a tunneling time can be specified unambiguously. It is shown that neither the moment when the electron enters the tunneling barrier nor when …
In this chapter we analyze the multiple ionization by impact of |Z|=1 projectiles: electrons, positrons, protons and antiprotons. Differences and similarities among the cross sections by these four projectiles allows us to have an insight on the physics involved. Mass and charge effects, energy thresholds, and relative importance of collisional and post-collisional processes are discussed. For this purpose, we performed a detailed theoretical-experimental comparison for single up to quintuple ionization of Ne, Ar, Kr and Xe by particles and antiparticles. We include an extensive compilation of…

The probability of multiple ionization of krypton by 50 femtosecond circularly polarized laser pulses, independent of the optical focal geometry, has been obtained for the first time. The excellent agreement over the intensity range 10 TWcm-2 to 10 PWcm-2 with the recent predictions of A. S. Kornev et al [Phys. Rev. A v.68, art.043414 (2003)] provides the first experimental confirmation that non-recollisional electronic excitation can occur in strong field ionization. This is particularly true for higher stages of ionization, when the laser intensity exceeds 1 PWcm-2 as the energetic departure…
The electron dynamics in the classically forbidden region during relativistic tunnel-ionization is investigated. The classical forbidden region in the relativistic regime is identified by defining a gauge invariant total energy operator. Introducing position dependent energy levels inside the tunneling barrier, we demonstrate that the relativistic tunnel-ionization can be well described by a one-dimensional intuitive picture. This picture predicts that, in contrast to the well-known nonrelativistic regime, the ionized electron wave packet arises with a momentum shift along the laser's propagat…
We perform a detailed analysis of the recollision-excitation-tunneling (RESI) mechanism in laser-induced nonsequential double ionization (NSDI), in which the first electron, upon return, promotes a second electron to an excited state, from which it subsequently tunnels, based on the strong-field approximation. We show that the shapes of the electron momentum distributions carry information about the bound-state with which the first electron collides, the bound state to which the second electron is excited, and the type of electron-electron interaction. Furthermore, one may define a driving-fie…
We analyze tunnel ionization of a single atom based on the Wigner function over the classical phase space which inspires improved classical electron trajectories: these start with exit momenta based on the quantum momentum function and correspond very well to the subsequent quantum evolution. We derive an approximate analytic formula to reconstruct the tunnel exit time and exit momentum from electron momentum data that can be measured e.g. with a usual time-of-flight electron detector.
The intermediate domain of strong-field ionization between the tunneling and the multiphoton regimes is investigated using the strong field approximation and the imaginary-time method. An intuitive model for the dynamics is developed which describes the ionization process within a nonadiabatic tunneling picture with a coordinate dependent electron energy during the under-the-barrier motion. The nonadiabatic effects in the elliptically polarized laser field induce a transversal momentum shift of the tunneled electron wave packet at the tunnel exit, a delayed appearance in the continuum as well …
In the strong field molecular tunneling ionization theory of Tong et al. [Phys. Rev. A 66, 033402 (2002)], the ionization rate depends on the asymptotic wavefunction of the molecular orbital from which the electron is removed. The orbital wavefunctions obtained from standard quantum chemistry packages in general are not good enough in the asymptotic region. Here we construct a one-electron model potential for several linear molecules using density functional theory (DFT). We show that the asymptotic wavefunction can be improved with an iteration method and after one iteration accurate asymptot…
We study theoretically the dipole radiation of a hydrogen atom driven by an intense sub-cycle pulse. The time-dependent Schrödinger equation for the system is solved by ab initio calculation to obtain the dipole response. Remarkably, a narrowband emission lasting longer than the driving pulse appears at a frequency just above the ionization threshold. An additional calculation using the strong field approximation also recovers this emission, which suggests that it corresponds to the oscillation of nearly-bound electrons that behave similarly to Rydberg electrons. The predicted phenomenon is un…
Recent attoclock experiments using the attsecond angular streaking technique enabled the measurement of the tunneling time delay during laser induced strong field ionization. Theoretically the tunneling time delay is commonly modelled by the Wigner time delay concept which is derived from the derivative of the electron wave function phase with respect to energy. Here, we present an alternative method for the calculation of the Wigner time delay by using the fixed energy propagator. The developed formalism is applied to the nonrelativistic as well as to the relativistic regime of the tunnel-ion…
Calculations are performed of the phase shift caused by the spatial modulation in the plasma density due to interference between a strong pump pulse and a weak probe pulse. It is suggested that a recent experiment [Loriot et al., Opt. Express v. 17, 13429 (2009)] observed an effective birefringence from this plasma grating rather than from the higher-order Kerr effect.
We revisit a recently proposed scheme [M.F. Ciappina et al 2019 Phys. Rev. A 99 043405] for accurate measurement of electromagnetic radiation intensities in a focus of high-power laser beams. The method is based on the observation of multiple sequential tunneling ionization of atoms and suggests the determination of the peak intensity value from the appearance in the focal area ions with a certain charge number. Here we study the sensitivity of the approach to two essential factors: the focal volume effect and the tunneling ionization model chosen to calculate ionization rates. We show, on the…
We coincidently measure the molecular frame photoelectron angular distribution and the ion sum-momentum distribution of single and double ionization of CO molecules by using circularly and elliptically polarized femtosecond laser pulses, respectively. The orientation dependent ionization rates for various kinetic energy releases allow us to individually identify the ionizations of multiple orbitals, ranging from the highest occupied to the next two lower-lying molecular orbitals for various channels observed in our experiments. Not only the emission of a single electron, but also the sequentia…
We perform a detailed analysis of the importance of causality within the strong-field approximation and the steepest descent framework for the recollision-excitation with subsequent tunneling ionization (RESI) pathway in laser-induced nonsequential double ionization (NSDI). In this time-delayed pathway, an electron returns to its parent ion, and, by recolliding with the core, gives part of its kinetic energy to excite a second electron at a time $t^{\prime}$. The second electron then reaches the continuum at a later time $t$ by tunneling ionization. We show that, if $t^{\prime}$ and $t$ are co…
A kinetic theory model is developed for positron-impact ionization (PII) with neutral, rarefied gases. Particular attention is given to the sharing of available energy between the post-ionization constituents. A simple model for the energy-partition function that qualitatively captures the physics of high-energy and near-threshold ionization is developed for PII, with free parameters that can be used to fit the model to experimental data. By applying the model to the measurements of Kover and Laricchia [1] for positrons in H2, the role of energy-partitioning in PII for positron thermalisation …
We report on the non-adiabatic offset of the initial electron momentum distribution in the plane of polarization upon single ionization of argon by strong field tunneling and show how to experimentally control the degree of non-adiabaticity. Two-color counter- and co-rotating fields (390 and 780 nm) are compared to show that the non-adiabatic offset strongly depends on the temporal evolution of the laser electric field. We introduce a simple method for the direct access to the non-adiabatic offset using two-color counter- and co-rotating fields. Further, for a single-color circularly polarized…
Classically allowed transport is shown to compete with quantum tunneling during the ionization of atoms by ultrashort and intense laser pulses, despite Keldysh parameters smaller than unity. This is done by comparing exact probability densities with the ones obtained from purely classical propagation using the Truncated Wigner Approximation. Not only is classical transport capable of moving trajectories away from the core, but it can also furnish ionization probabilities of the same order as the quantum ones for intensities currently employed in experiments. Our results have implications rangi…
Based upon our previous works (Eur.Phys.J.D 6, 319(1999); Chin.Phys.Lett. 18, 236(2001)), we develop a classical approach to calculate the high-order harmonic generation of the laser driven atoms and molecules. The Coulomb singularities in the system have been removed by a regularization procedure. Action-angle variables have been used to generate the initial microcanonical distribution which satisfies the inversion symmetry of the system. The numerical simulation show, within a proper laser intensity, a harmonic plateau with only odd harmonics appears. At higher intensities, the spectra becom…
