We construct a subset of the space of stability conditions for any projective threefold with an ample polarization that satisfies a certain Bogomolov-Gieseker inequality to refine the result in arXiv:1410.1585. Then, we demonstrate that the global dimension, as defined in arXiv:2008.00282 and arXiv:1807.00469, is 3 for any stability condition on $\mathbb P^3$ constructed in arXiv:1410.1585. Finally, we formulate a conjecture concerning the contractibility of a principal connected component of $\mathrm{Stab}(\mathbb P^3)$.
We find all K-polystable smooth Fano threefolds that can be obtained as blowup of projective space along the disjoint union of a twisted cubic curve and a line.
We define a one-dimensional family of "Euler" stability conditions on $\mathbb{P}^n$ which are conjectured to converge to Gieseker stability for coherent sheaves. Here, we focus on ${\mathbb P}^3$, first identifying Euler stability conditions with double-tilt stability conditions, and then we consider moduli of one-dimensional sheaves, proving some asymptotic results, boundedness for walls, and then explicitly computing walls and wall-crossings for sheaves supported on rational curves of degrees $3$ and $4$.
We describe the GIT compactification of the moduli of (2,2)-type effective divisors of $\mathbb{P}^1\times\mathbb{P}^2$ (i.e., surfaces of the linear system $\vert π_1^*\mathcal{O}_{\mathbb{P}^1}(2)\otimes π_2^*\mathcal{O}_{\mathbb{P}^2}(2)\vert$ ) which are generically Del Pezzo surfaces of degree two. In order to get the compactification, we characterize stable and semi-stable (2,2)-type surfaces, and also determine the equivalence classes of strictly semi-stable (2,2)-type surfaces. Moreover, we describe the boundary of the moduli of (2,2)-type surfaces.
In this paper, we study special generalized null correlation bundles on $\mathbb{P}^{5}$. We prove that special generalized null correlation bundles on $\mathbb{P}^{5}$ are stable under some numerical conditions. Moreover, we prove that the closure of the subvariety parametrizing stable special generalized null correlation bundles is an irreducible component of the moduli space of rank $4$ stable vector bundles with corresponding Chern classes on $\mathbb{P}^{5}$. As an application, we prove that the number of irreducible components of moduli space of rank $4$ stable vector bundles on $\mathbb…
Given a closed semi-algebraic set $X \subset \mathbb{R}^n$ and a continuous semi-algebraic mapping $G \colon X \to \mathbb{R}^m,$ it will be shown that there exists an open dense semi-algebraic subset $\mathscr{U}$ of $L(\mathbb{R}^n, \mathbb{R}^m),$ the space of all linear mappings from $\mathbb{R}^n$ to $\mathbb{R}^m,$ such that for all $F \in \mathscr{U},$ the image $(F + G)(X)$ is a closed (semi-algebraic) set in $\mathbb{R}^m.$ To do this, we study the tangent cone at infinity $C_\infty X$ and the set $E_\infty X \subset C_\infty X$ of (unit) exceptional directions at infinity of $X.$ Spe…
We study wall crossings in Bridgeland stability for the Hilbert scheme of elliptic quartic curves in three dimensional projective space. We provide a geometric description of each of the moduli spaces we encounter, including when the second component of this Hilbert scheme appears. Along the way, we prove that the principal component of this Hilbert scheme is a double blow up with smooth centers of a Grassmannian, exhibiting a completely different proof of this known result by Avritzer and Vainsencher. This description allows us to compute the cone of effective divisors of this component.
We show that uniform K-stability is a Zariski open condition in Q-Gorenstein families of Q-Fano varieties. To prove this result, we consider the behavior of the stability threshold in families. The stability threshold (also known as the delta-invariant) is a recently introduced invariant that is known to detect the K-semistability and uniform K-stability of a Q-Fano variety. We show that the stability threshold is lower semicontinuous in families and provide an interpretation of the invariant in terms of the K-stability of log pairs.
We introduce $q$-stability conditions $(σ,s)$ on Calabi-Yau-$\mathbb{X}$ categories $\mathcal{D}_\mathbb{X}$, where $σ$ is a stability condition on $\mathcal{D}_\mathbb{X}$ and $s$ a complex number. We prove the corresponding deformation theorem, that $\operatorname{QStab}_s\mathcal{D}_\mathbb{X}$ is a complex manifold of dimension $n$ for fixed $s$, where $n$ is the rank of the Grotendieck group of $\mathcal{D}_\mathbb{X}$ over $\mathbb{Z}[q^{\pm 1}]$. When $s=N$ is an integer, we show that the $q$-stability conditions can be identified with the stability conditions on $\mathcal{D}_N$, provid…
Let $G$ be a connected, complex reductive Lie group and $X$ a $\mathbb Q$-Fano $G$-spherical variety. In this paper we compute the weighed non-Archimedean functionals of a $G$-equivariant normal test configurations of $X$ via combinatory data. Also we define a modified Futaki invariant with respect to the weight $g$, and give an expression in terms of intersection numbers. Finally we show the equivalence of different notations of stability and gives a stability criterion on $\mathbb Q$-Fano spherical varieties, which is also a criterion of existence of Kähler-Ricci $g$-solitons.
Given a proper cone $K \subseteq \mathbb{R}^n$, a multivariate polynomial $f \in \mathbb{C}[z] = \mathbb{C}[z_1, \ldots, z_n]$ is called $K$-stable if it does not have a root whose vector of the imaginary parts is contained in the interior of $K$. If $K$ is the non-negative orthant, then $K$-stability specializes to the usual notion of stability of polynomials. We study conditions and certificates for the $K$-stability of a given polynomial $f$, especially for the case of determinantal polynomials as well as for quadratic polynomials. A particular focus is on psd-stability. For cones $K$ with …
In this paper, we prove a stronger form of the Bogomolov-Gieseker (BG) inequality for stable sheaves on two classes of Calabi-Yau threefolds, namely, weighted hypersurfaces inside the weighted projective spaces $\mathbb{P}(1, 1, 1, 1, 2)$ and $\mathbb{P}(1, 1, 1, 1, 4)$. Using the stronger BG inequality as a main technical tool, we construct open subsets in the spaces of Bridgeland stability conditions on these Calabi-Yau threefolds.
Categorically, we introduce the Calabi-Yau-$\mathbb{X}$ categories $\mathcal{D}_{\mathbb{X}}$ of a graded marked surface $\mathbf{S}^λ$, as a $q$-deformation of the topological Fukaya category $\mathcal{D}_\infty$ of $\mathbf{S}^λ$. We show that $\mathcal{D}_\infty$ can be identified with the cluster-$\mathbb{X}$ category associated to $\mathcal{D}_{\mathbb{X}}$. Geometrically, we construct and identify the space of $q$-quadratic differentials on the logarithm surface $\operatorname{log}_{\mathbf{c}} \mathbf{S}_\vartriangle^λ$ with the space of induced $q$-stability conditions on $\mathcal{D}_…
Let $X$ be any $\mathbb{Q}$-Fano variety and $\mathrm{Aut}(X)_0$ be the identity component of the automorphism group of $X$. Let $\mathbb{G}$ be a connected reductive subgroup of $\mathrm{Aut}(X)_0$ that contains a maximal torus of $\mathrm{Aut}(X)_0$. We prove that $X$ admits a Kähler-Einstein metric if and only if $X$ is $\mathbb{G}$-uniformly K-stable. This proves a version of Yau-Tian-Donaldson conjecture for arbitrary singular Fano varieties. A key new ingredient is a valuative criterion for $\mathbb{G}$-uniform K-stability.
We compute the (stable) étale cohomology of $\mathrm{Hom}_{n}(C, \mathcal{P}(\vecλ))$, the moduli stack of degree $n$ morphisms from a smooth projective curve $C$ to the weighted projective stack $\mathcal{P}(\vecλ)$, the latter being a stacky quotient defined by $\mathcal{P}(\vecλ) := \left[\mathbb{A}^N-\{0\}/\mathbb{G}_m\right]$, where $\mathbb{G}_m$ acts by weights $\vecλ = (λ_0, \cdots, λ_N) \in \mathbb{Z}^N_{+}$. Our key ingredient is formulating and proving the étale cohomological descent over the category $ΔS$, the symmetric (semi)simplicial category. An immediate arithmetic consequence…
Let $(M,ω)$ be a Kähler manifold and let $K$ be a compact group that acts on $M$ in a Hamiltonian fashion. We study the action of $K^\mathbb{C}$ on probability measures on $M$. First of all we identify an abstract setting for the momentum mapping and give numerical criteria for stability, semi-stability and polystability. Next we apply this setting to the action of $K^\mathbb{C}$ on measures. We get various stability criteria for measures on Kähler manifolds. The same circle of ideas gives a very general surjectivity result for a map originally studied by Hersch and Bourguignon-Li-Yau.
